Liverpool transfers In January, don't expect too much activity, only a few players will come in on loan and some will leave on loan. Rafa Benitez struck a deal with Real Madrid within the Xabi Alonso/Alvaro Arbeloa transfers to take first option on signing Rafael Van der Vaart. Expect him to join on loan before completing a permanent move in the summer for £10million. He will wear the number 10 shirt that Voronin will vacate who will move to Hertha again until the end of the season before completing a £4million switch permanently. A striker will also join on loan, Roman Pavlyuchenko is being considered but Tottenham will not want to help strengthen a team competing with them for a top 4 place. Other strikers being lined up are Gonzalo Higuain, Vincenzo Iaquinta, Eduardo da Silva.
News is that burnley are interested in morten gamst pedersen as he could be bought from rovers for less than 3 million
burnley are also keen to bring in nile ranger from newcastle as the alternative for davud nugent
Riise will def be returning to Liverpool. Roma are interested in Dossena and he has expressed a desire to return to italy. A Player swap deal will be on the cards.
Aurelio will be kept along with insua at LB but riise is also a quality Left Winger. after selling Babel Benitez will need a left winger.. this isn't a rumour i have heard of but it just seems like common sense.
Kill two birds with one stone: Dossena the flop gone and a winger to replace babel ..all in one deal.
Some transfer news for Cardiff fans:
Ross McCormack will leave for £3m in January. Heard that Wigan, QPR, Sheffield Wednesday, Motherwell and Hibernian are interested.
Coming in as his replacement will be Wales striker Simon Church.
Church is thought to welcome a move to Cardiff, as he wants to move from Reading due to their precarious position in the league and he sees Cardiff as a team with more potential who could be in the Premiership in 12 years.
Cardiff will also NOT go into administration, as there are up to 15 individuals/groups interested in buying the club (and by that I don't mean Westlife or Jedward!)
Can see Arsenal defo in for Chamakah in January due to RVP's nasty injury. Chances are RVP won't be back until next season so we need a similar player to him (and Cham fits the bill and will be cheap)
I go to the same Sports Club as Kettering Chairman, Imraan Ladak, and word is that Peter Jackson (not Lord of The Rings!) will be our new manager.
Ladak will give Jackson a 'bumper pot' to spend in January as he believes he is the man to win Kettering promotion to the Football League.
This would certainly be a great appointment, if true, and I'm sure as a Kettering fan that Jackson would take us up, even via playoffs.

Aaron Ramsey has spoken to Arsene Wenger, in order to convince him to sign Cardiff's Adam Matthews.
Wenger has sent scouts to look at Matthews and could sign him for £5m in January. If the deal goes through, Wenger will loan Craig Eastmond to the Bluebirds.
Eastmond, 18, can play as a defensive midfielder or rightback and played in Arsenal's 21 win over Liverpool in the League Cup.

Both the Capital clubs in Scotland are being linked with moves for Japaneses players , Hearts are looking at 21 year old striker Masaaki Saki and Hibs have shown an interest in 27 year old defender Toshiyuki Nishida , both play in the J league and will have a minimal cost .

It is inevitable that Javier Mascherano will be heading to Barcelona. However, Benitez will demand that they are payed 30mil plus the additions of Sergio Busquets and Pedro.
Liverpool will look to sign Mahamadou Diarra from R.Madrid for around 6mil to add some experience and physicality to the team.
Liverpool will also sign Oscar for 5mil (RB) and Gareth Bale on loan with an option to sign permenantly for 4mil.
Babel is on his way out and so incoming will be Luis Suarez for 17mil.
Bolton Manager Gary Megson has been told that he will have to sell fringe players before any new players can be signed due to the growing losses. The senior players believe that Megson will be gone by Summer because of the poor results and the fact that he's disliked by many of the senior players. Older Bolton players consider Phill Brown from Hull to be the perfect replacement (ex Bolton with Big Sam)but Gartside believes that Owen Coyle can be tempted away IF Burnley are relegated back to the Championship. Megson is well aware of whats going on, but has vowed to fight for his job. One of Boltons' targets, Charlie Adam has tuned down the chance to play for them. This would have seen Gavin McCann & £1.5m go to Blackpool. McCann is very keen on the move and may/should get a loan move in Jan along with 1 other senior fringe player.Expect 4 or 5 more senior players to leave Bolton in Jan....Megson to be gone in Summer.
More reports today about a £7m move by Birmingham for Aiden McGeady. Given the emergence of youngster Niall McGinn it now looks more than likely that the move will happen in January. A similar move for Scott Brown is dependent on him returning from his current injury before the end of November. Mowbray is also looking to move on many fringe players like Wilson, Flood, Killen etc those along with the usual names Caldwell, McManus, McDonald will all boost transfer funds for a radical overhaul of the squad. Roll on January.
Hearts will sign Wayne Brown (Fulham) and Aleksandrs Cauna (Skonto Riga) on loan in January. Cauna was a trialist for the club 3 years ago.

Liverpool transfer rumours/gossip/facts:
Rafa will stay as it will cost LFC 20m to let him go due to his contract, other than that rafa wants to stay. In January Rafa will sell only a few players these players will be Voronin(24m) and Dossena(36m), Babel will NOT be sold as Rafa would rather wait till he peaks his talent and then let him go, Now Liverpool ins could vary in budget, Rafa will be given a basic 10m + transfer incomes to improve his squad and he will get an extra 5m(from alonso sale) if we really need it, He wants to buy Mata for 16m, Valencia will probably accept it due to their depts, Rafa will also go for Pandev for a cut price of 510m as his contract is out, Now with the main players bought(assuming he gets them) he will turn his attention for backup and out of favour players, these will be Van Der Vaart and Diara and maybe a bid for Eduardo if Wenger will let him go.
