Bradford City have signed former youth team player Niall Heaton (CB) after being released by Liverpool.

Great signing for the club, will have gained from playing with good youth players at Liverpool. He's a big physical lad can see him making it at Bradford city in next few years.

Diop, Sullivan, ainsworth and fogden to sign on Thursday for Portsmouth.

Is this actually true cause all of these would be amazing pup

Can see ainsworth going to portsmouth go little winger for league 2

Well it's Thursday and only 1 of them have signed so far so can't se anymore happening

No way Diop

Diop retired

Due to Blackburn Rovers' spiralling wage expenditure, they are ready to offload many top earning players.

Jordan Rhodes will be the first to leave, with Aston Villa, Hull City and West Ham interested. All three interested teams will look to spend £4m which Blackburn have already said will suffice.

Birmingham City defender Curtis Davies will be a Hull City player within the next fortnight, with a deal being discussed right now.

Manchester United youngster Nick Powell, signed from Crewe Alexandra, is desperate for first team football and will be loaned out to either Hull City or Cardiff City to help boost their attacking options to help stay in the English Premier League.

Newcastle United are looking to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubamayang to play alongside Papiss Cisse to improve this Seasons awful finish.

Middlesbrough are looking to sign Hull City skipper Robert Koren who is thought to fall surplus to requirements at the KC Stadium following Promotion to the top flight. Tony Mowbray is keen to reunite the Slovenian talisman after a successful history when together at West Bromich Albion.

Newcastle right-back Danny Simpson has fallen out of favour at St. James's Park following the signing of Matthieu Debuchy and will be either a Stoke, Hull City or West Ham player next Season after his contract expires.

Your joking with Rhodes, 8 million when bought last season, 30 goals this season in a poor Blackburn season and you think they will take a 4 million hit, what planet you on.
$ million i'd take him straight back to Town with a bonus 4 million in the bank.

If Rhodes is on as much money as is thought (£45k pw) I would imagine that we (Hull) will be priced out of the move. of the clubs listed, I would imagine Villa would be his best bet. Austin or LeFondre are more realistic options for us.

Curtis Davies I think would be a great bit of business for us, very experienced and quite consitent too. £2-3mil well spent if the rumours are true.

Powell on loan would be great, especially if Koren goes to Boro as is suggested here.

Simpson would be a good signing for us. Is he really out of contract this year? I would have thought Newcastle would have had that covered as he is surely worth a couple of million. Not the biggest hit ever but every club could do with pocketing £2-3mil for a fringe player. I suppose the real question is, how much better than Rosenior is he?

He may have a point though. Blackburn had an awful Season, and almost went down with Wolves. If the whole team is underperforming and they need to improve, getting rid of the more expensive players would definitely make the most sense. Steve Agnew (Hull City Assistant Manager) is Jordan Rhodes' uncle; room for optimism from a Hull City perspective.

Steve Agnew is Rhodes uncle and I think that might be the reason for getting him cheap

Blackburn won't give a toss if Agnew is his Uncle. If Rovers are looking to trim their wage bill, Rhodes would free up nearly £2.5mil a year. If he's got, say, 3 years left (don't know just a guess) that £7.5mil saved. that's the reason Rhodes would be available for as little as £4mil.

Robert koren would be a good singing

Rhodes was initially on his way to boor in the summer but it fell through when boro couldn't offload emnes for their asking price

Newcastle Utd & Liverpool both looking at young prospect Duane Holmes from championship side Huddersfield Town's u18 squad. Both see huge potential for the central midfielder but any deal far from being close.

He is an outstanding talent, Town need to get him signed on a long term deal, crazy if he is allowed to leave on the cheap.

Doesn't surprise me, the lad is quality!

Future US international, absolutely quality player, massive potential!

Watched him at qpr thanks to online feed, looked a decent prospect, the club need to tie him up quick, then inegrate him into 1st team squad, which would be in line with our policy on youngsters

17 May 2013 12:15:40
Yes I watched him too for those that didn't the qpr commentators were describing him as adel taarabt like! he could play just off vaughan next year.

15 May 2013 21:30:45
Bury to go into administration next week after only getting assurances from half of their so called ten required backers. All players will be made available for transfer for nominal fees to get them off the wage bill. Accrington Stanley will pick up three of their most valued players after tentative talks with the players concerned.

15 May 2013 22:30:15
John Coleman will take over at Bury when Kevin Blackwell agrees a mutual severance package with the club's board.

15 May 2013 22:17:51
Middlesbrough striker Marvin Emnes is attracting interest from a number of clubs including Nottingham Forest.

Please take him! he's a joke of a player. Less than 10 good performances from him in 6 years

15 May 2013 22:16:38
QPR and Cardiff City are both keen to sign reading winger jobi mcAnuff

He said he is staying

QPR want also Jacques Maghoma as Harry has been impressed with his performances this season.

Please take him someone. Most useless captain I've ever seen. Reading have 3 wingers much better then him.

Don't want him (Cardiff City Fan)

'Please take him someone. Most useless captain I've ever seen. Reading have 3 wingers much better then him'

McAnuff has had an up and down season but since Adkins has taken over he's worked harder than any other player for Reading. His work rate was unmatched, and he's respected by all other players on the field, so you can't for one minute call him a useless captain. Plus he's a more capable crosser/passer than the 3 wingers you have in mind, with the dribbling ability to match. Not only that, but for the last several games he's been playing in a more central role anyway. You don't know what you're talking about

With regards to his tranfer though, he's very committed to Reading and like I say has been shining under Adkins' style of play, also bearing in mind his captaincy, I very much doubt he'd move anywhere. ESPECIALLY to QPR, why would he move to the team LESS likely to make a quick return to the Premier League?

To the Reading fan saying take him, you clearly are not a Reading fan as Jobi has been playing in the middle for ages now!

Have him, trust me he is nowhere near as good as all 3/4 of our other wingers. Holds the ball to long and doesn't pass into space. On the other hand I thought he had a good game against City.

He has a good games against City, against Fulham and against Liverpool. Ever sinse Adkins style has started to shine through he has been playing great football in the middle with Guthrie!

He's been poor, which is tough for me to say

15 May 2013 22:15:11
Paulo Di Canio wants to start his rebuilding of Sunderland with a move for Charlie Austin for 4 million. His other targets include Alex Pearce, Liam Bridcutt, Shaun Maloney and James McArthur.

Bournemouth want Nakhi Wells for 600k and Alan Connell has recommended the south coast club.

Bridcutt no way near

Bournemouth are favs to sign Chukki Erribenne and Foyewa also intrested in Karl Broadhurst

15 May 2013 22:03:24
Derby County

CB priority listing

1 - Baptiste - facing huge competition as you would expect being a free agent.
2 - Gary Monk - very intent upon finishing his career at Swansea even if it is early and would like a coaching role. Derby could offer him more football.
3 - Turn to a loan for half a season from a premier league club. When at Christmas Barker and Obrien will return.

If Derby do not get Baptiste, the options are not very full proof.

15 May 2013 21:46:20
Watford looking at a shocking transfer for Asamoah Gyan if they achieve promotion to the BPL

He will command more wages than the Pozzo's would pay

He's a 140K per week player! he's scored more goals than he's played games though, looks amazing.

Di Natale is on 250k a week so, yeah, they could afford it.

But he's in an awful league

Knock a zero off Di Natale's weekly salary and you will be nearer

Di Natale is on £30k per week, and he's the highest earner!

15 May 2013 21:57:13
Tom Heaton to join Burnley on Friday on a bosman deal

15 May 2013 21:46:39
Blackpool are interested in signing Leigh Griffiths who is available on a free, however the wages may be a problem as there will be competition from the championship and from Scotland.

He's not on a free & he only wants to play for Hibs

He's only interested in Playing for Hibs. until an English Championship club (Blackpool or anyone else) comes along and blows Hibs out of the water in terms of wages.

Well that's not Pool is it!

Oyston would make players pay him for joing Pool if he could.

So, he will only move to a championship club? Rules out Crawley, Man City and Accy Stanley then, is it written into his contract or something? Pretty focused kinda guy though.

He is available for free as his wolves contract has expired although compensation would have to be paid by whoever he joins as he is under 24.

Can't see where it says he'll only go to the Championship? It simply says compared to Hibs he would get far more money going to the Championship which is correct.

His option has been taken up now, so he would demand a fee

15 May 2013 21:18:54
Zimbabwe international and Plymouths player of the season Onismor Bhasera is in talks with league one side Walsall about a move to the Banks's stadium

Bhasera was linked with a move to the midlands club in January but a fee could not be agreed between the two sides for the zimbabwe international

16 May 2013 07:59:50
he allways get linked with walsall so this is not true

16 May 2013 20:20:43
Don't want to lose Baz but I think we will end up losing him this summer, however I think he could go to a club better than Walsall.

15 May 2013 21:12:39
Jason Steele has been linked with Everton and Liverpool recently so manager Tony Mowbray is ready to bring back Karl Ikeme from Wolves after he had a successful loan at Middlesbrough the start of the 11/12 season.

Also their are strong link that both academy graduates David Wheater and Danny Graham are both on their way back to the teesiders.

Also (Main, Reach and Williams are all going out to Hartlepool on loan)

15 May 2013 23:37:29
Matthew Bates, David Wheater, Chris Brunt, Josh Walker & Danny Graham all coming back this summer.

Main, Reach & Williams wil NOT being going out on Loan. They will be part of the first team squad. Boro have no money and will look to their youth players to play a more integral part of next season.

Josh Walker is at a club which has just been relegated to League 2. He is not good enough for the championship. Mowbray will not bring him back.

David Wheater is still on high wages which Bolton can afford due to their parachute payments. Boro don't have that money.

Danny Graham has stated that he does not want to play at a lower division than the premiership. If he is to leave Sunderland then he is likely to go to a promoted club. Not a struggling Championship club.

Chris Brunt's wages would be far too high.

Matthew Bates is a strong possibility. He is a great player in the championship when fit. The only trouble is he hardly ever is.

15 May 2013 21:33:29
Swindon set to sign Danny Hylton from Aldershot

Crystal palace rumours
Ins
Nahki wells. Bradford
Albert adomah. Bristol city
andy johnson. Qpr
Andy king . Leicester

Not sure if they are true but this is what I heard.

16 May 2013 15:54:56
Palace to pay Bristol city full asking price to secure Albert adohma believed to be £3.5 million this is as instant replacement for zaha

Behave Johnsons on £40k aweek and is always injured. This is just as deluded as the Brighton fans who still think Zamora will return every transfer window. As a QPR fan i'd be happy to see the back of them both and it'd save the club £100K aweek

15 May 2013 20:57:19
Kris Boyd could be heading to Elland road this summer as Leeds boss Mcdermott looks for a new striker.

Erm I hope not!

15 May 2013 20:55:43
Nahki Wells could be heading to the championship this season with Middlesbrough rumoured to be interested in the 600k valued Bradford city striker.

Hope so he is a really good player with pace about him {Ed003's Note - I rate him,I think he has al the attributes to be a very good player}

As a bradford fan I think the championship is too much for him at present. 1st div this year and move up next year if successful.

15 May 2013 20:53:36

His good enough for there first team

Development Squad? Woodyard Is A Proven First Team Player!

A proven first team player!
He made a massive 8 appearances for Southend and a dozen on loan at semi pro level!
That's not proven at all is it. If he's that good to be a first teamer, why ain't he staying at Southend!

15 May 2013 20:47:11
Burnley to make a double signing later this week with Tom Heaton signing on a free transfer on a 3 year deal to replace Lee Grant and Gonzalo Jara to sign from Wset Brom on a 2 year deal to challange Kieron Trippier at right back while Luke O'Neil will join Shrewsbury on a season Long Loan

Jacques Maghoma is wanted by Brentford, Doncaster, Sheffield Wednesday, Middlesbrough, Cardiff, Shrewsbury, Rotherham, Ipswich, Bournemouth, Palace, Westbrom, Bradford, Brighton, Leeds, Birmingham, Leicester, Millwall and Derby.

Any1 else think uve covered every team in that post

Nice and specfic, then

Competition is low then

15 May 2013 20:59:02
There is now way all of those teams want a league 2 player, espeicially cardiff and leicter. Besides boro are favouretes to sign him, and an earlier post said we already did.

From what I hear its a done deal at middlesbrough.

You forgot Dortmund, Bayern, PSG and Barcelona.

Anyone else I think you might have missed one!!

Haha. No chance. A prem team? No way in hell.

If your going to name that many teams just say every team in the football league.

You forgot QPR they like to sign everyone

You forgot to mention Charlton, Leeds and Leicester.

15 May 2013 19:08:00
Adebayo Akinfenwa could delay his retirement by a season, but step down a league in the process, as Barnet want him to help them achieve promotion straight back to the football league

The man's 31! He doesn't need to retire yet, I wouldn't be surprised if a League 1 team took a gamble on him!

If that happens I will eat my hat

Former Oxford United Peter Leven admits no contact has been made between Plymouth and himself but has said he would be interested in the move. Source: Plymouth Herald

15 May 2013 19:04:37
Paul ince will sign Stevenage's Portuguese winger filipe morais before the end of this week. Watch this space.

Its quite unlikely, he's in contract at stevenage and has played well here and seemingly enjoyed it. Why would he leave?

Why would he leave? Money obviously, and perhaps to play more games. He was not a regular starter under Smith or Westley.

15 May 2013 19:01:19
Wolves will sell striker Leigh Griffiths if a Premier League club shows interest. Initial reports are suggesting Stoke and West Brom could make a move for the striker, who impressed greatly in the SPL

Big difference between EPL & SPL.

15 May 2013 18:52:38
Rotherham are monitoring Altrincham goal machine Damien Reeves

15 May 2013 18:50:45
Tony Mowbray is exploring the option of taking Sunderland's Danny Graham back to Middlesbrough as he is yet to score since his 5million move from Swansea in January.

Please let this be true.

Sunderland would want money for him, which we don't have. and would be a poor signing

Come on Boro please take him off our hands

Shoud not have gone to sunderland

Danny Graham is a Boro academy lad who supports Newcastle and hates Sunderland-hes all ready stated this prior to signing for them. He's a huge waste of Sunderlands money and isn't wanted by the fans-they hate him! Get rid!

Top quality goal scorer in a poor sunderland team. Would love him back at boro

15 May 2013 18:49:51

15 May 2013 21:12:44
Is this correct?

Hope this is true pup

15 May 2013 18:47:01
David Wheater has expressed his desire to return to Middlesbrough. Boro boss Tony Mowbray has said to be keen on the idea of a potential return for the Bolton defender.

You wish _Boro boy.

Don't think so, he's been injured for the most part of the last twelve months and with Dawson going back to WBA he's going to be needed at Bolton.

15 May 2013 18:46:56
Preston North End are intrested in these players but not all going to happen

Ins

Jacques Maghoma of Burton Albion
Amine Linganzi of Accrington Stanley
Kevin Davies free agent Player/coach
Declan rudd of Norwich loan
Lee Novak of Huddersfield
Lee Croft of Oldham
Steven Schumacher of Bury

Outs

Chris Robertson
Andy Proctor
Chris Beardsley
John Mousinho

"but not all going to happen. "

I doubt any will happen!

Are preston planning on buying 5 squads worth of free agent, league 2 players again?

Rudd on loan is most likely near 100% possibility IMO (Norwich fan)

Maghoma would be an excellent signing for PNE

The poster who suggests preston are buying 5 squads of players should be aware they have one of the smallest squads in Division 1 with only 24 professionals.

Is robertson any good? (chelt fan)

Croft won;t go to PNE as he's already said if he stays in league one he will stay at Oldham.

He just fans player of the season as well and we also have a new manager in place who saved us from relegation in only 8 games he got 14 /24 points. he will get his own team with players like Croft included as he's already spoke to him.

Rudd should be going back to Preston (another Norwich fan)

24 proffessional what though?

In response to the 5th reply after my earlier post, I was talking about preston buying like 2 squads worth of players in like a month last year. they were being linked to every mediocre player on this site. I was exagerrating with the 5 but you get my point, oh and 24 is probably in the top half of squad sizes in league 1

Robo is OK no nonsense and steady but can lack pace (PNE FAN)

In my opinion robertson is good enough for league 1

16 May 2013 18:15:50
Not ambitious? there are not too many clubs of Burton's stature that have strongly competed with the likes of Rotherham, Port vale, Bradford and Northampton.

15 May 2013 18:42:43
Rotherham striker kaydode odejaydi going for trial at Ipswich mick McCarthy big admirer of big man

Your welcome to him very poor player

Do me a favour, the guy couldn't cut it at col you or league 2 Rotherham.

16 May 2013 03:00:55
Good "hold-up" man and brings other players into the game. I think he played well at Rotherham and deserved more starts - but wish him well

He played well at rotherham, as a sub

15 May 2013 18:40:42
notts are trying to sign marcus tudgay from forest as tudgay wants more football

15 May 2013 18:29:28
Stevie May of Hamilton is in talks with Notts County. He has scored 43 goals in his last 53 games over the last two seasons. Only 20. he fits Kiwomyas youth policy.

15 May 2013 20:15:29
correction to my own post, he's on loan at Hamilton and contracted to St Johnstone!

Did you get this off my post on NCM? I suggested him! I hope he signs, would be quality.

15 May 2013 18:27:22
Jake Cassidy has expressed his desire to leave Wolves after they showed little faith in him when he returned from his loan spell at Tranmere Rovers.

Cass was unheard of until ronnie developed his game. I think he should come back to tranmere.

Think you'll find it was les parry who first brought him to Tranmere

Well if les parry signed him he didn't have much time to develop him. Jake made his debut for Tranmere under Ronnie and become the player he is under the guidance of Ronnie

Cassidy signed on loan around the same time parry got sacked

No he didn't les gave him his debut and I admit Ronnie helped him defo and I hope he comes back to us

Well peeps I'm never to big to admit I was wrong and this time I was. Ronnie signed and gave Cass his debut away at Sheff Utd I looked it up before. Sorry to all.

Reliable source Keiren Westwood set to join former club coventry on a season long loan next season

I'm a Cov City fan a major optimist but even I know this is total nonsense!

This would be nice but now he is prem we couldn't afford his wages.

Amazing, if this is true!

No at least premiership quality he hopefully will join one of the new promated sides doubt he will join us

This sale along with the sale of gunnarson and king cost us our relegation. Westwood is a class act.

15 May 2013 18:03:29
The first signings (not new contracts) at Shrewsbury will be Yado Mambo, Mark Duffy, Liam Boyce and Stephen McGinn. Jacques Maghoma is likely to reject Shrewsbury's advances and instead join Middelsborough.

15 May 2013 17:58:10
Serbian striker Filip Djordevic is being tracked by Middlesbrough boss Tony Mowbray as he scours Europe for a goal scorer.

Would be a good signing for the championship, where would we get the money from?

15 May 2013 17:54:50
Middlesbrough are prepared to make a bid for Crewe midfielder Luke Murphy. The 23 year old is attracting interest from a number of clubs including north-east rivals Newcastle United.

16 May 2013 03:27:04
I've said it once and I will say it again, luke murphy going villa (approx. £2.5 million) to link up with Ashley westwood. there is a strong possibility nick powell will also go villa on a 12 months loan and also max clayton for a fee of approx. £3 million plus add ons.

15 May 2013 17:53:50
Sheffield Wednesday are contemplating a bid for Peterborough's Tommy Rowe

Let's hope so. Has to be one of the most over rated players in the POSH squad. For some reason he is one of Fergies favourites but don't know why. Goes missing during the game on numerous occasions and costs goals and ultimately points. Apart from that he's fine

Goes missing when in Midfield. Played well at Left Back last season, an unsung hero at times IMO. Capable of playing Championship football. sad to see him go but won't sign a new deal so better to make a few quid than let him go for nowt.

Sorry what?! We lost the first 7 games when Rowe was injured. We won the game he returned in. How can you say he costs us points?

Rowe is one of our better players and imo a close second for player of the year.

Not quite sure what the person who posted the top comment was thinking. Rowe is a fantastic winger and has operated fantastically well at LB as well as scoring some crucial goals.

I agree rowe was arguably our best player this season

Tommy Rowe is one of Peterborough's best players. It's those people who have limited knowledge on football that don't appreciate what he brings to the team.

15 May 2013 17:51:09
Middlesbrough are preparing a double swoop for Norwich duo Luciano Becchio and Simeon Jackson. Becchio on a season long loan and Jackson on a free transfer.

Becchio left Leeds because he wanted to play in the prem, so he won't be going to boro

Becchio won't go anywhere, I think he'll have a good season at Norwich, saw a glimpse of what he can do last Sunday Otbc

He passed the ball back sunday hardly a sign of great things to come lol, but still more games he may prove me wrong hope so we need good fwds

Becchio been so bad on the training pitch that he hasn't got near a start despite NCFC struggling for goals. If Hughton allowing him on to do one back pass in a game that was already won gets other teams interested then it was a great piece of management. He'll be back in the Championship by next season

We should cash in on Becchio while he still holds value, lessons to be learnt from Holt

15 May 2013 17:57:31
Rumours are rife on the Wirral and Nottingham that Tranmere and Notts Co will do a swap deal concerning Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro and Francois Zoko.

15 May 2013 19:17:48
zoko was released so how can he part of a swap deal also tranmere can't afford his wages

Ronnie says he wants to work with JLAA make him a better player zoko is a donkey who thought he was big time better than carlisle but flopped at notts no thanks you lot can keep him we only send the donkeys your way eg showumni!

15 May 2013 22:04:30
Zoko wasn't released, he has a year left on his contract!

Think Zoko's got a year left at Notts Co

Keep zoko and you can have akpro too.

15 May 2013 17:56:57
Neil Lennon set to replace Nigel Pearson as Leicester manager.

Nooooo celtic are a mid table champ team at best with champions league supporters. you can't just nick a manager and expect them to work their magic at your club with instant results, invariably it has taken them time to get to that stage which a process which that team has had to suffer thru. I say no pain no gain stick with pearson and if it doesn't work out then kick his ass to the curb. saying that I would love to see matteo at our club lol.

Out of contract Oldham defender James Tarkowski is a target for Championship sides Wigan, Blackburn, Bolton, Blackpool and Leeds.

Hes still under contract

He's not that good, but would accept a offer of a few hundred thousand if a transfer fee of that size came in

18 May 2013 00:32:39
not a championship player, definitely not a top half team

^he is out of contract at Latics^

Take him he's rubbish. So mistake prone its unreal

Paul Caddis to Birmingham/Middlesbrough/Burnley

I'm sorry but I think it will be a very tough season for us next year. Come On You Reds

15 May 2013 21:27:52
hope coxy comes to us

Wagstaff is off to Gillingham

Why would Andy Johnson drop a league and take a wage cut? he's injured that's why he's not playing and Obita will be part of readings future

Adam Rooney has signed

I wish we could have roberts back at huddersfield

No he dosn't lack quality

Posh wouldn't be interested in Foderingham unless he was to move to sit on our bench

Lee Cox out for 6 months shoulder reconstruction.

Have you see Gary Roberts recently, gone backwards. No thanks

Obita would only be a loan

Roberts back to town, avin a laugh never been same since the broken arm, another one who thinks he's better than he is div 1 yet again.

None of them Swindon transfers targets are true, wagstaff? Couldn't afford his wages. the same as lee couldn't afford his wages.

Rooney signed for who?

15 May 2013 16:52:31
Newcastle interested in taking Liverpool striker Fabio Borini on loan next season and are preparing a £6 million bid for Hannovers Mame Birame Diouf, a former Manchester United player.

I can't see us loaning Borini to another Premier club, and I think he'll involved in Rodgers' plans next season but he must improve.

15 May 2013 16:46:08
Harry Redknapp is going to only have 6 or 7 of the current PL squad for his championship promotion challenge next year which are:
Robert Green
Christopher Samba
Nedum Onohua
Anton Ferdinand
Jermaine Jenas
Possibly
Samba Diakite & Yun Suk Young

His first bit of business will be to try and get another loan deal for Andros Townsend.

15 May 2013 16:45:50
Walters and Whelan of Stoke city are set to replace Victor Wanyama and Gary Hooper who are both set for moves to the premiership

Why? Are celtic looking to lose the SPL title next season. If they do sell Hooper and Wanyama, they should be looking at better replacements than Whelan and Walters.

15 May 2013 16:42:11
FC Dallas striker Kenny Cooper has stated that he would be interested in a move to Celtic. the American International striker re-joined current club FC Dallas in February but has admitted that Celtic would be an attractive move. Cooper stated on the FC Dallas Fan Club Website.

"Celtic are a huge football club and they have proved that this season with their performances in the Champions League, especially when they beat Barcelona 2-1, To play for a club like Celtic is something that would really appeal to me in the future, but right now i'm enjoying my football with FC Dallas and will continue to do everything I can to help the team achieve it's ambitions"

QPR were one the top clubs interested in signing Cooper during the January Transfer Window, but after a meeting with New York Red Bulls sporting director Andy Roxburgh, Cooper decided that a move to Loftus Road was never going to go happen due to the stricken club's position in the Premier League.

Stekeleburg Roma
Douglas fc Twente
Overtoom herecules
Sako wolves ( team m8 confirmed)
Lukaku ( other clubs interested)
Granero scum
Taarabt scum

Out
Davies
Baird
Somogyi
Stockdale
Petric
Diarra
Hughes
Duff

Contrary to press releases & gossip Jol is not waking out or being sacked, he has a kitty of about 25-30m to spend

Sounds good to me the likes of Bony, Gomis, Chadli, cisse, gourcuff, dragovic and the ayew bros have also been linked who are very good players.

Fair play monetary rules will go against Fulham making big purchases, so do not think too much money will be spent. Jol is unlikely to continue as Fulham manager next season due to many reasons, not least his latest outburst but primarily the fact that Fulham have been a mess this season.
Amorebieta free (Would be a good signing)
Boateng free (Very possible)
Reither perm (Very possible)
Enoh perm (possible)
Emmanuelson loan extended (good news but unlikely)
Huddlestone spurs (might happen if Jol stays)
Bent villa (might be possible but wouldn't want him and definitely not on expensive wages)
Stekeleburg Roma (might not happen now)
Douglas fc Twente (other clubs interested, would be an excellent signing)
Overtoom herecules (not heard this one)
Sako wolves (might happen, potential)
Lukaku (will not happen - Fulham are looking at a number of similar strikers and Mbokani is heading a queue)
Vydra (possible if Watford fail to get promoted)
Ayew brothers are also linked.
Most of the links are all connected with Jol so it is important Fulham get this issue resolved quickly - a new manager will have different views on players.

Out
Davies, Baird, Somogyi, Stockdale,
Diarra, Hughes, Duff (just signed new deal so he will stay) - add Kasami to leave if Jol stays. Most of the Fulham team could leave and be replaced with better, the must stays are:
Hangeland, Riether, Ruiz, Rodallega, Frei, Kacanicklic, Dejagah, Sidwell (just), Emmanuelson, Enoh

Duff signed a one year extension already

Any idea on the prices on these deals?

Reither 2m
Enoh 4m
Huddlestone 5-8m
Bent 5m
Stekelenburg 5m
Douglas 6m
Ovetoom 4m
Sako 2.5m
Lukaku won't happen
Granero 3m
Taarabt 7m

I'd only want douglas, reither and lukaku out of those

Confirmed Riether joins Fulham for 1. 1 fee. NO LIE!

Paid 3m for Sako, scored double figures and got player of the season. He won't leave for 2. 5.

Yes wolves did pay 3m for Sako but you're now in the. 3rd tier of English football & he & others will leave for less than you paid for them.

Disagree, Sako has stated no intention to leave. Was actually completely content with staying if we had stayed up. Moxey may be useless in some areas but transfer deals is not one of those areas.

Sorry m8 but Fulham have signed Sako along with Stekelenburg & Amorebieta, all deals will be announced by Fulham by next fri. Sako 2.8m, Stek 3.6m & Amorebieta free

15 May 2013 16:35:00
Swansea are back in Spain this season for their summer transfers. They will be signing Giovanni dos Santos, Jonathan de Guzman on a permanent deal, Jose Canas, Alvaro Vadillo and Geromel who is currently on loan at Mallorca. They will also sign Romelu Lukaku and Nathaniel Chalobah on loan, whilst bagging Sporting Lisbon defender Eric Dier. Very relilable source!

Lukaku would never sign for Swansea when Chelsea have already announced they want him back for next season.

They scouted dos Santos last year, Dier is reputed to be staying at Sporting, can't see Lukaku going to Swansea, if the de Guzman fee is on the low side a club like Liverpool may step in to grab a bargain, if its on the high side it may rule out the Swans. Can't comment on the rest

Sounds amazing!

Most seem likely lukaku can't see happening de Guzman would stay at swansea he has stressed time and time again he loves it there! And the sporting Lisbon defender has stated he's happy but Lisbon are in trouble financial so a deal is very possible!

Alvaro Vadillo the 18 year old winger from Betis? He turns out to be one of the best players on the football manager games when he gets into his 20's so based on that and the fact he's already played a few first team games for Betis, could be a good signing

Would love Lukaku at Swansea, him and Michu would be excellent. let's see what happens when the new chelski manager comes in.?

Hope so

These are all possible as you could loan dier back to Lisbon, vadillo however has like a 25million buyout clause in his contract so I think Jonathan Williams or Redmond are more likely targets. Oh and btw just because Brendan Rodger is manager of Liverpool it doesn't mean he will try and buy every descent Swansea player!

15 May 2013 16:38:48
Accrington's Lee Molyneux is attracting interest from a number of clubs including Cheltenham, Chesterfield and Oxford.

Nice. Only if he's a free transfer. Can't see lenagan putting his hand in his wallet.

Agreed. rather free transfers than a mass of loan signings though in my opinion.

17 May 2013 06:45:38
Molyneux has already said he is not signing for Chesterfield

15 May 2013 16:31:30
Renne Howe has agreed a deal at Southend

The Name Is Rene Howe. And He Hasn't Agreed A Deal. He Is Still In Talks

I always thought it was renne? Sorry forthw mistake if wrong and last I heard he is happy with terms offered

God my keyboard is bad, apparently he is going to be phil browns first signing

15 May 2013 16:22:56
Cheltenham are in talks to sign Newport striker Aaron O'Connor.

15 May 2013 16:20:06
Rotherham set to make an ambitious approach to sign Kevin Phillips of Blackpool (on loan at palace) but wages will probabaly be the stumbling block of the deal

Phillips said this season would be his last

Blackpool have already released Kevin Phillips so, unless he has done a deal at Palace he is a free agent

He will end up being a player/coach with ollie

15 May 2013 16:16:23
Cheltenham are set to resign Kayode Odejayi. The striker was transfer listed by Rotherham.

15 May 2013 16:04:18
West brom will make either Bony or Mbokani there top target for the summer, as Lukaku will not be returning on loan. they will then look to get players on free transfers and loan deals.

15 May 2013 15:55:16
Portsmouth rumoured to have signed AFC Wimbledon target John Sullivan in goal for next season.

Done deal

Target one lost and target two looking like were missing out on as meades looks to have snubbed us if both are true looks like its going to be a long old summer for us

^^ Saints fan lol the team is shaping up nicely, once DC and Johny Irtl signs that be brilliant, need a couple of wingers though, first time in 4 years we nearly got a settled team before pre season PUP

*Ertl

Gary Alexander to Pompey-same agent at Sullivan.

15 May 2013 15:52:31
Brighton are looking to take striker Noel Hunt from Reading on a free in the summer as the Reading forward rejected a 1 year extension

Works hard but lacks quality

We do we keep signing players over 30. In Poyet's first press conference he said he would bring in young english players. All he's brought in is old players and spanish players

He has brought young English players in i. e. buckley, bridcutt, lua lua,

Would be a decent signing for you

Bridcutt's scottish and LuaLua's from Congo.

Bridcutt's english with a scottish grandfather get your facts right

Ex Coventry city and Sheffield Wednesday centre half Richard Wood to join chesterfield on a free to partner Liam Cooper meanwhile Richard Brindley will agree a new two year deal with the club but the future of Mark Randall still remains unclear. Captain Sam Hird who was transferred listed following the season closing will join Scunthorpe utd for free. Spireites have a number targets touted heres a few that I've been told from an extremely good source:

Conor McCormack Shamrock Rovers
Romuald Boco Accrington Stanley
Conor Townsend Hull City
Adam Chapman Belper Town
Matt Mitchell King Afc Wimbledon
Richard Wood Coventry City
Jason Walker York City
Deane Smalley Oxford United
Amine Linganzi Accrington Stanley
Karl Sheppard Reading
Paul Black Oldham
Craig Lindfield Accrington Stanley

15 May 2013 17:07:53
Paul black does not play for oldham

Richard Wood was on 8K at city and could easily get into a lower championship team

Take sheppard

Paul black is on trial at oldham, was last at tranmere

Mat Mitchell-King got released by us for a reason, you don't want to sign him

Conor McCormack would be a great signing

Wood - mentioned every window because we once offered to take him on loan after an injury
Boco - wants too much money
Smalley - won't be coming back (griffiths syndrom)
Linfield - we have our quota of forwards for this season

Black isn;t an Oldham player Tranmere released him he played one game on trial against UTD and bye bye now.

We have Grounds anyway so he wouldn;t get a game.

8k a week at Coventry? Dream on mate!

As if Richard Wood has ever earned 8k in his career, never mind at Coventry.

Black doesn't play for latics anymore. Good luck if you think you might sign him, useless full back

15 May 2013 15:49:23
Cheltenham are hoping to sign defender Ian Sharps, who was placed on the transfer list by Rotherham.

15 May 2013 15:46:46
Swindon are looking at Andy Johnson from QPR. After recent relegation to the championship the hoops are set to have a big clear out with AJ being on the target list of high league 1 clubs such as: Swindon, Sheff Utd, MK Dons, and several lower championship clubs: Huddersfield, Millwall, Bournemouth. The Wiltshire club are favorites and a short term deal could happen within early June.

Im a qpr fan and i've heard this a few times at loftus road. we are lossing all the dead weight in our team. good luck to andy at STFC

Andy johnson league one? don't make me laugh. despite his injury problems he is still a very good player, so if he is to leave expect a championship club to gamble on him

15 May 2013 15:37:52
Roberto Martinez will not be taking over as Everton manager. Dave Whelan is refusing to let, simple as. The short list consists of five names, all of whom will be approached and hopefully interviewed by the middle of next month. McKay and Laudrup have been approached but are not interested. The shortlist looks like this.

Christian Streich - SC Freiburg
Di Matteo - Unattached
Vitor Pereira - Porto (Contract expires this summer)
Steve Mclaren - Unattached
Dougie Freedman - Bolton

Up until today I worked in the clubs sports analysis department but have been let go due to the imminent change of staff.

What about gus poyet

15 May 2013 17:02:27
Roberto Martinez could well go to Everton, Dave Whelan has personally said that he won't stop Martinez for a bigger club if he wants to leave

Very poor

U never worked at Everton so get your facts right

If you would have worked at Everton or any other club that surely you would've been legally binded to sign a confidentially contract no?

Freedman isn't interested

15 May 2013 15:20:48
Colchester are set to sign ex Stoke and Charlton striker Ricardo Fuller on a two year deal later this week. U's boss Joe Dunne is also set to release Clinton Morrison after a disappointing season.

16 May 2013 12:32:26
good signing

15 May 2013 14:24:09
Arsenal will make a bid for Everton midfielder Kevin Mirallas in the summer. Wenger has a bigger transfer budget this year and the departure of Moyes could tempt Mirallas to leave. However £15 million will have to be paid in order to sign the Belgian.

Moyes will take him to united ahead of Arsenal

15 May 2013 14:17:06
Steve Evans has ruled out signing Billy Mckay of Inverness, Ashley Vincent of Port Vale and Scott Flinders of Hartlepool. Seems how Evans admitted he was in Scotland watching a striker a few weeks ago, this strengthens the rumour that Rotherham are set to bid 150k for Falkirk striker Lyle Taylor like I posted a few days ago. I have also heard as alternatives to taylor, Evans is interested in Peterborough striker Tyrone Barnett, Lee Novak of Huddersfield and Jamie Vardy of Leicester although all the above strikers want to remain in the championship so deals are unlikely.

Evans wants Tyrone Barnett but its whether Tyrone wants to go and his wage demands. Good luck if you get him, he's the biggest/useless donkey ever seen at Posh.

Peterborough aren't in The Championship. As for Lee Novak, could quite possibly happen as he has stalled on a new contract offer from the club for a while. Can't see Vardy going so far when a number of Championship clubs would no doubt give him a chance

Barnett was'nt useless when he played for Steve Evans before hence why Peterborough must have bought him

Barnett is a good player. He would be a good signing and many Posh so called 'fans' doubt his ability. Good in the air, pacey (when fit) and has a good eye for goal.

In all fairness to anyone who saw the pre-Posh Barnett you may say he WAS good, Posh paid over a million based on heading ability of which he showed none at Posh, laziest player ever to pull on a blue shirt and his attitude stinks, if you still rate him then please take him because his performances when he had a chance were of non league standard last season

Barnett as I said is a donkey and was totally out of his depth in the championship, but he may do well in Div 1 or 2 as that's his level.

And in fairness to Barnett (God knows why anyone would want to be), I thought he was effective in the air at Posh. just those few times he could bother himself to jump.

He was great in the air, sometimes I don't think some 'fans' even watch the games? Remember his goals at the end of last season? He scored on the pitch in his first game after being on the pitch for a minute!

15 May 2013 15:21:18
Hull and Celtic Will battle it out for Ireland Striker Jonathon Walters. Stoke will accept bids over £4.5 million

I bet they would. Hope Cardiff City don't fall for it.

redbird

15 May 2013 16:56:53
Hope Celtic win that particular race

Hope he goes we need a proper goal scorer

15 May 2013 15:02:58
Hearts are looking to sign ex Coventry City central defender Richard Wood on a free transfer.

15 May 2013 14:58:31
Leicester will tempt local boy Richard Stearman with a return to the club & are set to steal him from under the noses of Ipswich. The fee is likely to be £300K.
This signing will then see the departure of Richie De Laet. De Laet has had an impressive first season at Leicester but is thought to be on WBA's radar for £2m.

Stearman won't go that cheap and he said he would like to work with McCarthy

That is rubbish, he has already signed for itfc, but it won't be official until 1st July.

15 May 2013 14:46:50
Strong rumours coming out of Leicester that Ben Marshall is on his way to Huddersfield town! Watch this space!

Rumours of Stoke trying to sign the former winger

Nothing will happen at Leicester until they decide what they are doing with their manager.
Would be a good signing for Huddersfield though, thought he was great and Wednesday.

Ben Marshall, now that would be a class signing, on me ed son shouts Vaughan and Marshall delivers.

15 May 2013 14:43:46
Titus Bramble to Hull City
Ahmed Elmohamady to Hull City (Loan)

Is this a stray rumour from last year?
Elmo is set to sign a permanent deal in the next couple of weeks.
Bramble is no better than any of our defenders, and gets linked to us every transfer window.

15 May 2013 14:43:08
Walsall manager Dean Smith has identified Cheltenham Towns goalkeeper Scott Brown as his key target ahead of next season.
Brown kept 19 Clean sheets in League Two and has caught the attention of both Walsall and Bristol City, who are set to lose Tom Heaton.
28 year old Brown has 1 year left on his contract with the Gloucestershire outfit, and won both Players and Supporters Player of the Year.

You'd have to pay a lot for him. Arguably the best keeper in League 2.

16 May 2013 07:35:53
Not going to happen we only sign freebies

Does anybody pay a lot for anybody from league 2?

Surly about £500k is top wack for a star player at a league 2 club?

Its cruel to keep a bloke from doubling his wage at a bigger club. {Ed001's Note - Man Utd paid £6m for Nick Powell from League 2.}

15 May 2013 14:10:49
McClaren in at King Power as Thai owners ring the changes in Leicester. Pearson to be sacked after board meeting Thursday night!

Why would you want mcclaren
he s never done much in
this country
he might have had a little
bit of success in holland
find someone better than him
or stick with nigel pearson

15 May 2013 16:22:39
Totally agree about McLaren. He is and always has been a failure. After 50+ years I will take leave of absence if he is appointed, but back in by Christmas because he would be sacked by then and City will be languishing in the bottom 3! Stick with Nigel.

15 May 2013 17:32:11
Pearson or McLaren. What an unenviable choice. Glad Cardiff City don't have to make it. But if pressed I'd have to go for Nigel over the Wally.

Celtic to Sign Stoke Irish Duo Glenn Whelan and Jonathon Walters for £7 million

15 May 2013 14:07:28
Celtic Midfielder Victor Wanyama will look to leave this summer with Liverpool, Arsenal and Stoke Interested in a £8 million pound deal

He is set to be replaced by Stoke's Irish Midfielder Glenn Whelan in a £2.5 million deal

He'll have a lot higher ambitions than signing for Stoke & price will likely be 10m+

15 May 2013 13:59:28
Glenn Whelan Looks set to leave Stoke for £2 million with Hull, Celtic, Derby and Burnley Interested in the central midfielder

Rule out Derby and Burnley at £2m. i'm a Burnley fan and I guarantee we wouldn't spend that on 1 player and i'd imagine the same for Derby

Derby fan here, I concur. we won't be coughing up 2 million. Celtic most likely after Victor Wanyama is sold.

I agree with the Burnley fan

Burnley don't have this money

We might be interested but the 2 million part. come on we are Derby : (

15 May 2013 13:58:54
Notts County news:

Assistant manager deal done, older head with great experience.
Hughes to leave, replacement already agreed.
Dumbuya to sign.
Two strikers close to agreeing deals, along with a winger from a Prem team.
Sheehan, Zoko and Enoch all on their way to new clubs too.

Some of these announced this week.

Dumbuya is s****

Sheehan won't leave

Would be a happy pie

Would love dumbuya, real quality player. Not too sure about the premier league winger tho

The winger is Jermaine pennant

We could never afford pennant

Were are these announcements then?

15 May 2013 13:49:05
Burton boss Gary Rowett could be about to accept an offer to become the new manager at Doncaster Rovers.

Still think after only one season as a FL Manager Gary would be better staying at Burton and going for automatic promotion next year. Donny can get a more experienced manager.

I've heard that Gary Rowett will be off as the club are not ambitious enough for him. Would be very bad move for the club and would be very sorry to see him go.

15 May 2013 13:34:20
Kaid Muhammed has agreed to join Bristol Rovers on a 1 - year deal with another year if they achieve promotion.

15 May 2013 13:28:23
Where are these rumours about Derby signing Billy Sharp coming from?!

He's just come back from a holiday with Jamie Ward. not surprising seeing as they know each other from their time at Sheffield Utd. I think some people have been putting 2 and 2 together and ending up with 5.

15 May 2013 23:58:54
Think Billy Sharp and Jamie Ward's family were/are on holiday together. Think there is a pix on Sharps social media account? Not sure it means he is joining Derby off course :)

Jamie Ward made a donation to Sharp's charity after scoring in the 1-1 draw at Pride Park.

15 May 2013 13:22:25
Oldham manager lee Johnson and chairman Simon corney in talks with a number of people about becoming lees assistant the biggest name being recently retired Paul scholes where there is no secret about him being an oldham fan and publicly stated he wants to go into management so decent learning curve for the mildfielder.

Scholes is going to be a coach at Manchester United so I dnt think that wil happen just yet

The guy has ST;s every season for Oldham so you never know he may be interested as he is a vivid Oldham fan goes to lots of games.

Can't see it though as LJ wants an experienced num
ber 2 to have a lot or roles so he will need to be experienced.

Im an oldham fan, would absolutely love this to be true. Scholesy would never be in it for the money, but the MOST we could ever offer him would be 2-4k a week probably not even that, so he wouldn't sign. He will get a good coaching job at united for about 20k a week, which is what his retirement deserves.

15 May 2013 13:16:36
Cheltenham are set to release Bagasan Graham, Darren Carter and Harry Hooman. Darryl Duffy could be offered a new one-year deal.

15 May 2013 13:16:32
Notts in talks with;

Aaron Mclean -Hull
Theo Robinson - Derby

Who look likely to join with Showunmi and Zoko leaving the club.

Jimmy Ryan is to agree personal terms with Notts and snub a new deal offered by Scunthorpe he will be joined by Andy Barcham who was released by Scunthorpe recently.

15 May 2013 13:15:04

Richard Brindley to sign new deal the future of mark Randall still very unclear

Boco isn't going to Chesterfield priced himself out

If this is true then I am sorry to see Drew go as he has probably been the most consistent player for the past two or three seasons (Tommy Lee excluded!) However looking at the list of arrivals I hope you are right about just half of them. Ventress

15 May 2013 22:25:45
Drew Talbot is going to Barnsley

Atkinson wouldn't drop down to league 2 after playing some, albeit limited championship football

You don't half listen to rubbish you lot smalley isn't coming in! infact no strikers will now! il tell you who will come. Townsend, McCormack, chapman and sheppard

Atkinson will have to play for any team that wants him, lg2 or not!

15 May 2013 12:42:44

He's going to the blades

I can confirm he's already signed with bcfc so no ne isn't going to the blades

middlesbrough will announce the signing of akinfenwa on matthew threadgill's manager mode

15 May 2013 12:16:48
Oldham Athletic want Manchester United midfielder Adnan Januzajin on a season long loan.

Dont know anything about this lad other than he is a wonderkid on football manager 2013, and you can't base an opinion of that. Can any reds tell us if this lad is any good?

19 May 2013 21:47:36
One word, incredible; would be such a coup if Oldham were to pull this one off

15 May 2013 12:11:48
Bill gates is set to take over at Aston Villa. he loves the premier league and is good friends with current owner randy lerner, lerner won't leave they will just have a 50% stake each

15 May 2013 12:08:56
Hull City to make contact with the following:

Callum McManaman (Wigan £5m)
Jordan Rhodes (Blackburn £4m)
Curtis Davies (Birmingham £2m)
Danny Simpson (Newcastle FREE)
Nick Powell (Manchester United Season-long loan)
John Guidetti (Manchester City Season-long loan)
Andy King (Leicester City £1.5m)
Shaun Maloney (Wigan £3m)
Paul Scharner (Wigan £2m)
Jon Walters (Stoke City £3m)
Jamie O'Hara (Wolves £1m)
Vito Mannone (Arsenal £1.5m) and/or David Stockdale (Fulham £3m)
Nakhi Wells (Bradford City £2m)

Steve Bruce is though to be choosing around 5/6 players from that list in order to aid Hull City's Premier League survival scrap.

Hull City are also ready to allow the following to leave:

Seyi Olofinjana (Sheffield Wednesday FREE)
Liam Rosenior (Leeds FREE)
Nick Proschwitz (SC Paderborn Season-long loan)
Jay Simpson (Wolves £1m)
Paul McKenna (Retirement)
Andy Dawson (Retirement - possible coaching role at the Club)
Mark Cullen (Bury £150k)
Jamie Devitt (Bradford City £100k)
Matty Fryatt (Derby County £1m)
Aaron McLean (Notts County FREE)

Why would Blackburn accept that for Rhodes when they paid £8m for him a year ago and he was their top scorer this season?

I doubt Pulis's Love child Jon Walters will be sold on the cheap for £3 million. more like 4-5

You under estermated about every player price tag there

Seems unlikely that Blackburn would be willing to sell Rhodes for £4m 1 season after they paid £8m for him.

If your bidding £2m for Nhaki Wells I will drive him across the M62 myself

So you r going to buy 30 mill worth of players and only sell about 500k I don't think so.

Scharner isn't a Wigan Player he's on loan from Hannover 96 and why would Blackburn sell Rhodes for 4m when they only just brough him last season for 8m so you would be looking at 8m+ not 4m

Walters 3m? are you having a laugh, 6m at least

From a wigan fan, maloney said he doesn't want to leave, and mcmanaman is worth more that that,. And to add, scharner does even play for us, he is on loan from hamburg

Jordan Rhodes signed for Blackburn for around 7m, scored a load of goals and one season later you think he'll leave for 4m?

I would like to see Jon Walters. He is hardworking and clearly the premiership quality we need. He would be a nice addition and Stoke may also sell him at a reasonable price. I would pay up to £5 million

£4 million for Jordan Rhodes - LOL
More like £8 million

From That list the only players I believe we could actually get are
Powell
Guidetti
King
Scharner
Walters
O'hara
Mannone
Wells

15 May 2013 17:17:09
can have wells for 2 million and for Jamie devitt 100k. no thanks

Mark cullen to Bury - 150k - we couldn't raise 150p!
unfortunately that takes the credence off virtually every other 'dealing' mentioned above

Get your facts right mcmanaman at leat 8million and he wouldn't go to hull. Rhodes why would blackburn lose 4million. Nick powell maybe but dowt it. Guidetti in your dreams hell go to a bigger foreign club. maloney 3 million in your dreams he will go to a bigger club with wigan relegated. Walters no. Welles could but why would they want him?

Bury to spend £150k?

Ah! Me ribs!

We don't have 150 Pence pal!

Can not see mclean joining notts we can't afford a proper striker

With the amount of replies to this rumour.

We can confirm it is a load of rubbish that a Hull fan came up with as his dream summer.

Oh derby fan here. No chance we are paying 1 million for Fryatt, you are looking to offload him from the wage bill.

Why would wolves pay 1 million for Simpson when he's out of contract?

Wigan don't own scharner. Just saying? also, McManaman is bieng heavily linked with liverpool

Wouldnt have devitt back he was complete rubbish. £2 million for Nahki Wells is too little.

16 May 2013 19:57:21
I don't know what's funnier! Bury to spend £150k or anyone thinking Cullen is worth that much! You should be on the comedy channel!

15 May 2013 12:29:34
Callum McManaman is the latest big topic in transfers. He is subject to interest from many Premiership clubs including Aston Villa, West Brom, Everton and Liverpool. His form has seen his value increase so bids will be in the region of £4-£9m

Bit of a gap between £4 and £9 million isn't there?

Redbird

West brom won't sign him, I rate him but I can rule my team out of the race, to much and not proven, if were spending big it will be on bony or mbokani

WBA never spend big!
they'll sign another loaned player, bent?

^^ true but having not signed anyone in january and with this awful run of form atm I really think we will have to spend this summer. Hopefully mbokani or bony

15 May 2013 11:59:19
Bent to West Brom, Odemwingie to Villa

ODW was seen talking to villa officials early in the week, however this could have been the tea lady, a steward, or even paul lambert as no one identified the person in question. Maybe a case of 2+2=5 in this case.

I have heard this too. Bent's wages could be a problem though

15 May 2013 15:56:50
ODW in no way conforms to Lambert's policy of young plaers with potential. He will sign no one who is the wrong side of 30. Plus the fact he is simply not good enough

Seems to be that westbrom want Sinclair and bent, could work well together

Not good enough you having a laff odemwinge is a good player walkinto the villa team

15 May 2013 11:53:46
Sheffield Wednesday are offering Lee Martin a 4 week trial after he was released by Ipswich

4 week trial. Is He Guilty?

FREE LEE MARTIN HE'S INNOCENT

16 May 2013 18:47:48
He has certainly been guilty of some abject displays this season.

15 May 2013 11:39:15
Oxford Utd captain Jake Wright wanted by Sheffield Utd and Rotherham.

Rotherham united agreed a fee with Inverness for Billy McKay in a region of 350k with add-ons.

Oxford won't sell for less that 400,000 so they better get the chequebook out.

No they havnt steve evans today has said he has never been a target. i'm a millers fan he has also quashed rumours about flinders and vincent

That;'s going to make a huge dent in your transfer budget

Sheffield Utd don't have the money to stump up over 400k, and I'd like to see Rotherham even try. 400k is minimum price for Jakey.

So which manager at Sheffield United has decided he wants to spend a lot of money on Wright?
Sheff U, dnt ave that money anyway. Why would they spend money on a player without a manager?

15 May 2013 11:38:12
Alan Irvine is set to be named the new boss at Everton.

15 May 2013 12:52:39

15 May 2013 11:28:10
Bristol City are in talks with recently released Manchester United centre back Sean McGinty. McGinty has been the subject of recent disciplinary breaches but Sean O'Driscoll is keen to talk to the defender to solve there long standing centre back issue and has been invited to join the Robins on their pre season tour of Botswana.

Centre back issue? Shame because he is a left back and an average one at that not to mention he thinks he is the best thing since sliced bread

He was on loan at Oxford earlier last season. He was, in short, rubbish, and was sent back fairly promptly. Good luck with that City.

15 May 2013 11:26:20
Crystal Palace manager Ian Holloway is wanting to sign Blackpool winger Thomas Ince in the summer, but only if they manage promotion to the Premier League.

If you have a spare 14 million he is yours

So that's Ince staying at Blackpool then.

What like the 15 million from Zaha

15 May 2013 11:21:55
Ipswich Town Transfer Targets

Cole Skuse - Signed
Alan Judge - Close
Jay Tabb - Close (Deal hit stumbling block)
Richard Stearman - Wolves and ITFC in talks
Patrick Kisnorbo - Deal offered
Daryl Murphy - Deal offered
Kenny McLean - Clubs in talks

Less Likely:
Harry Forrester - Deal likely to be offered after Play-off final
Carl Ikeme
Karl Henry
Stephen Hunt
Damien Martinez (Loan)

I'll drop Karl Henry and his suitcase at Portman Road for you, it's not a problem.

Expect SEB to sign for you soon. Just been released by Wolves. I'll give Christophe Berra the bus fare if you want him too

15 May 2013 11:02:15

15 May 2013 11:02:08
Bayern Munich are lining up a bid for Barcelona striker David Villa in the summer.

15 May 2013 10:58:29
West Brom have made Scott Sinclair and Shaun Maloney their top priorities as they look for progress on their top 10 finish.

Along with a striker, likely to be bony, or mbokani, west brom's transfer policy allows them to spend big on one player each summer so it seems likely one of those two strikers will come in, Sinclair on loan, Maloney i'm not to sure about, numerous midfield targets being discussed currently

15 May 2013 10:56:52
Wigan are set to offer Callum McMananman a new contract to starve off any interest for the England under 21 attacker.
It is thought Crystal Palace are monitoring the situation but will only pursue their interest if they win promotion.
Another team thought to be preparing a bid for the 22 year old is Hull City.

Mcmanaman has recently signed a new 3/4 year deal. He has just broken in to the first team so if its not a very large offer, he will be staying at Wigan.

15 May 2013 10:54:58
Oldham Lee Croft in talks with Crewe but wanted by Walsall and Tranmere.

He said if he is to stay in league one, oldham would be first choice

Only way he will leave oldham is if its in the championship. he's not good enough for that league and last time he was there he didn't get games

15 May 2013 10:53:52
Seems Ipswich are looking at defender Virgil Van Dijk and winger Gnero Zeefuik from Groningen after a tip off from forward Town star Martjin Reuser

15 May 2013 10:53:47
West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce is keen on wrapping up a deal in the summer for England striker Andy Carroll. United want to pay only £5 million for the 24 year old, which could be a little bit too ambitious.

15 May 2013 10:52:20
Leeds United are in talks with Reading over the possibility of bringing in their forward Adam Le Fondre in the summer.

No there not there interested in mcanuff and Harte.

Ok Ill bite, Not going to happen for less than £6m + you can't afford that + he has 3 years left on his contract + We don't need or want to sell + BM regularly used him as a sub which he's made clear he wants to start = Not gunna happen.

Leeds don't have the money.

Leeds do have money smart arse wait and see

Leeds aren't wanting ian harte we already have a better left back in stephen warnock

Even if Leeds do have the money mc dermott won't spend it that's how we got relegated
But Leeds are skint so jobi can do better staying at Reading FC

Adam Le Fondre will NOT join any championship sides for any price. If he leaves it will be to a PREMIER LEAGUE side.

15 May 2013 10:52:20
Leeds United are in talks with Reading over the possibility of bringing in their forward Adam Le Fondre in the summer.

God this summers going to be long if this is the type of made up tripe that's being spouted. Who next Leeds? Messi?

NEVER going to happen. Anton and Adkins both said they will try and keep hold of all the players they can/want, plus championship? Supposedly Arsenal were interested at one point.

15 May 2013 10:50:51

Will never sign bent. had a big row while at sunderland

No way will bruce let bent near his daughter again so that's a no no

15 May 2013 10:42:06
If Wells were to leave Bradfrd in the summer he will be replaced with Sinclair (P'boro) or Taylor (Falkirk)

Id drive sinclair to bradford for you

15 May 2013 10:28:55
If Watford go up they'll be interested in taking Luis Muriel on loan from Udinese as the 2 clubs have the same owners.

He's doing very well at Udinese, so he won't be joining Watford

Would be fantastic as he's excelled at Udinese this season, but the Pozzos want 3 successful clubs, so I don't think they'll take one of their best players and send him to Watford.

No they're really not, from a Watford fan. Udinese will only get rid of non-first team players on loan. Watford will look elsewhere for talent as the Pozzo's have an amazing scouting system

Ridiculous! Muriel is an integral part of the Udinese team. No way he will come to Watford, if he does I will eat my own hat.

As much as we would love it, Muriel is Udinese's biggest young talent and one of their best players. I don't see him leaving to Watford ever.

15 May 2013 10:28:31
Cheltenham's speedy winger Kaid Mohammed is wanted by 14 clubs after netting 4 goals and 6 assists from 41 league games.
With the Welshman looking at life after Cheltenham, clubs in League 1 & 2 have been put on alert.
Stevenage, Portsmouth, Newport County, Crawley and Walsall have already been in contact however the likes of Peterborough, Bristol City, Shrewsbury, Crewe, and Leyton Orient are also interested.
The bookies favorite's though are Swindon and Yeovil.

Leyton Orient have two good wingers in Cox and Odabjo so they don't need anymore

I doubt this amount of intrest for Mo

Kaid was at Swindon previously and we released him, I cannae see us wanting him back.

Is there a possible return to Shrewsbury for Lionel Ainsworth and Ian Sharps who have been transfer listed by Rotherham

Strong and fast. ( left sided player ) I wouldn't mind him at the Os.
Wouldn't surprise me if he signed for Pompey though.

Shrewsburys possible. We only have two wingers confirmed. One is 18 and the other 32

Why not, I'm sure the players would welcome a return. all depends how much the shrews want them. There will be literaly hundreds of players looking for clubs, and i'm sure you will find the right ones.

Good luck for next season, from an Orient supporter.

Sharps won't be coming back, that's his own words. Turner won't have Lionel back here, that's why he let him go in the first place

4 goals and 6 assists from 41 games? that's now seen as a good enough record to attract interest? Delusional

15 May 2013 10:27:36
Gus Poyet could be the new Everton manager as Dave Whealan dosent want Martinez to leave Wigan even though they are now relegated to the championship.

15 May 2013 10:25:12
David Moyes wanted to sign Callum McManaman at Everton but could now bring him to Manchester United now Wigan have been relegated.

Moyes released Mcmanaman at everton. no way is he going back to him.

15 May 2013 10:18:07
Neymar off to bayern

15 May 2013 09:46:28
Karl Robbinson to be new sheffield united manager

Certain bookies in sheffield stopped taking bets

Also stan james gone feom 10/1 into 4/6 over night

15 May 2013 09:45:19
Newport out of contract Aaron O Connor there top goal scorer for last season is a target for League one sides Bristol City, Crewe and Oldham.

This could be the other lad LJ was on about.

15 May 2013 09:41:41
Out of contract Oldham defender John Yves Mvoto is a target for Championship side Barnsley and newly promoted Port Vale.

M'voto will only stay in league one if he signs a new contract with oldham. But is definitely good enough and powerful enough for championship football

15 May 2013 09:29:29
Argyle set to announce a big signing this early afternoon as John Sheridan is just tieing up a few loose ends this morning!

Cant sign no-one till june 9th so its a lie already.

15 May 2013 09:28:30
Simon Eastwood has declined a new contract with Portsmouth and is a target for many championship and league one clubs including Blackburn, Wolves and Sheffield United.

He has already signed for Blackburn, where he will be third choice, keepers aren't the brightest are they

Already signed for blackburn

I am shocked at this (portsmouth fan) do not want understand why he would want to leave a club on the rise? maybe its for family but still he has got to think at football and he is only going to get played max 5 times, person!

15 May 2013 09:27:13
Watford are looking to loan out highly rated midfielder Ross Jenkins to a la liga team, preferably Espanyol or Osasuna, as they believe the experience will benefit him greatly.

Except Zola doesn't rate him. More likely to be released this summer.

. Don't make me laugh, Ross Jenkins was on loan at Barnet this season. I have nothing against him, but he is League 2 standard, League 1 at best.

Ross Jenkins is a great player only 22 yrs old, could see him going far.

If I'm correct, jenkins has a year or 2 left at watford, a loan will do him well, still only young

Garner, Murray and Forsyth all became first team players whilst we were rubbish. Jenkins did not.

So why would Jenkins get into some of the stronger Spanish teams such as Espanyol, who undoubtably have their own Abdi standard player?

Think Jenkins was injured around that time if my memory serve me right.

15 May 2013 09:27:02
Watford are looking to snatch up Italian Legends Vicenzo Iaquinta, Francesco Totti and Gianluca Zambrotta after claiming they want to join up with there old Italy internationals Marco Cassetti and Gianfranco Zola.

Ha ha ha, all these Italain rumours are hilliarous! Next we will be signing Del Piero, Inzarghi, Zoff, Rossi!

Inzaghi has retired m8 and was going to come

Might as well bring Maradona back for Zola the way this is going.

15 May 2013 09:10:21
Hull City's Ins -

Stockdale - Fulham
Steele - Barnsley
Davies - Birmingham City
ElMohamady - Sunderland
King - Leicester City
Boyd - Peterborough United
Gedo - Al Ahly
Rhodes - Blackburn Rovers
Austin - Burnley

Stockdale- To expensive
Steele- Maybe
Davies- Maybe
Elmo- Probably
King- Maybe
Boyd- Yes
Gedo- No
Rhodes- Going to West Ham
Austin- maybe

Yep sure!

KIng's going nowhere

Hull set to offer 4million for Rhodes, blackburn paid 8million and since then he ha scored 30goals and become an international, so slim to no chance of that happening

Why would we want andy king from leicester?

we already have a better midfield than that now. we want to be signing better midfielders, not mid-table obscurities.

Rhodes and austin?. cor you must have loads of dosh. that's about 15 mill on two players, how much for the rest

Think the Steele your after is Jason ai
Middlesborough

Luke Steele? Your having a laugh right?

Hes just signed a new contract

Best keeper in the championship. But unfortunately hull fans Luke is staying at oakwell as first team captain. 2 year deal at 2k more per week, with the club he loves. Well done bfc and Luke!

Luke Steele not signing for barnsle

15 May 2013 08:56:57
Middlesbrough are interested in Marlon Pack this summer after his contract ends with Cheltenham. The 22 year old midfielder would be ideal for Boro as the only fee required would be a small compensation fee.

Small compensation? What planet do you live on?

And sorry to spoil your party but Pack is joining Bournemouth.

15 May 2013 08:52:16
Bristol Rovers searching for a new keeper have Oxford's Ryan Clarke in the sights.

What a load of bull! Oxford have Clarke as number one with Crocombe as back up. If he was off Mccormick would have been offered a new deal. Unless Rovers have silly money they want to pay as he's under contract! Try and make up another one which is slightly believable!

Don't worry, I don't think we'd want Clarke. We had him years ago and he never made an impact at first team level so I doubt he's a target.

Hes a bristol boy we want him back

No disrespect to Clarke but he was'nt good enough first time round. We definately would'nt take him back - even as a number 2.

Bristol Rovers got a big transfer kitty then? Would love to see you pay 100k+ for Clarke.

Would be brave to offer us enough money that we'd even think about, 150k-ish. When he's been injured since feb. And had major ops on both shoulders!
Operations like that, could finish a keepers career

My 2 uncles are rovers fans (im oxford) and they rated clarke whilst he was at rovers - said we had a result signing him

150k? are you the one who wanted over £200k for constable?! laughable!

15 May 2013 08:11:19
Rory Fallon handed 2 month trial from Plymouth Argyle.

15 May 2013 12:16:03
Please let this be true would like him to join the club League 2 would be perfect for Fallon

Quite liked Rory, but he just didn't cut it last time he played for us

Hes bad!

15 May 2013 16:27:04
Hope this is true, he was a decent player in the championship so I think he'll be a really good player for us!

Don't agree with that okay yes he didn't score many goals but he worked his socks off and set up a lot of goals. There's been so many target men strikers like fallon who are playing in the championship and above who play exactly the same way as fallon does and your saying he didn't cut it for us?

Fallon was never championship quality, lower league 1 at best, should be a decent signing for league 2!

I swear that Rory Fallon started scoring some great goals once he left argyle, especially in the scottish cup at hampton park. He scored another good one away in the scottish league. The scottish league is better than league two so if he did come back it could be good news. He's better than chadwick anyway!

15 May 2013 07:26:02
Crystal Palace and Bournemouth linked with Nakhi Wells for 600k

It depends if b0radford go up

I tink he will move to crystal palace

15 May 2013 15:13:59
That would be good! He would be quality for the cherries

Im an afcb fan and we don't need him when we've got pitman grabban and tubbs and aparently wante wells pope and austin.

15 May 2013 06:47:28
Lanre oyebanjo (ex orient) a right winger and Adam McGurk (ex tranmere) set to sign for rovers this week.

Steve mildenhall will sign, currently in dispute with millwall about them paying up the remainder of his contract which expires on 30 June.

Ellis Harrison stalling on a new deal with BRFC, interest from notts county and Pompey in the winger

15 May 2013 06:30:36
Steve cotterill is in talks to join Bristol Rovers as their Assistant manager.

What a come down this would be for the guy. he is not very loyal when a better oppertunity comes knocking Steve is gone - that said he would be an excellent coach/assistant manager.

Ohhh hell no! {Ed003's Note - lol}

15 May 2013 07:25:57
derby to sign George Bowerman on a free transfer for the under 21's

I doubt this very much, when there is mason Bennett, Vernam, Ball, Sharpe at under 21 level already, and i'd bet are slightly better

15 May 2013 00:54:38
Bolton have signed young Sheffield Wednesday full back hayden white and young millwall striker conor Wilkinson.

We at owls know its true with white speed but that's all.

I've just read up about both players in the local press (I won't mention where the editor doesn't like it lol). Both have raive reviews and are young players. I hope these are not the two players that the fuss has been about in the local & national press Freedman had lined up by the end of the month. No disrespect to the lads but not the exciting signings we were all expecting.

Don't worry mate, you team ain't done bad you've signed two young promsing striker for basically nothing and the transfer season ain't even open.

Diop's signing is reportedly delayed after having a medical due to his ongoing hamstring injury which he suffered whilst at Birmingham, according to sources within Fratton Park but he has definitely been seen at Portsmouth in recent days.

Can't see this happpening, he was a joke when here before, couldn't stay on his feet. Not one for me thanks

What a load of rubbish (confirmed on the offical clubs )

Di Canio is set to land Sebastian Giovinco for 10mil with the Italian Wanting to play in England. Also diakite looks set to sign along with Roberge on free transfers. He is also trying to land Lamela from Roma. Di Canio looks like he has a big budget and serie A is about to be slapped in the face.

The squad needs a major clear out, needs to get rid of McClean, Gardner, cuellar, Vaughan, graham, bramble, bardsley, brown, kilgallon. We need to make Danny rose permanent. I would like to see us put a bid for Maloney and kone from Wigan but I'm sure paolo with surprise us with a signing or two

Lamela will be 25 mill and bio info will cost 20 you r to hopeful Sunderland fans

Lets hope he does not do what he did at Swindon and spend like mad and cause huge financial problems. i'm sure the budget is big at Sunderland, but just saying. and he won't get away with the 'naughty boy step' at a premier club

Oldham are believed to be in talks with former loanee matt Derbyshire over a one year deal.

He's on 16k a week, there's no way we could afford him

He wants regular first team football and says he is willing to take a pay cut to get this.

Seconded

I'd love it to be true

Love this to be true but he won't take a pay cutt from 16k down to about 3k which is all we could possibly afford in reality

Norwich City have today submitted a £4.3m bid for FC Porto midfielder Steven Defour which has been accepted by the Portuguese side.
Keep an eye out for this story in the next few days. {Ed003's Note - good luck with that,one bargain signing might be it for this year lol}

My initial reaction was that this is absurd, never going to come to NCFC, but he has been out of favour this season so this may have legs. Porto paid a similar fee for him but would be a reasonable fee.

Would be an epic signing! Please let this be true.

I heard we are looking at him but it depends on this contract if they don't want to sell we have to pay 50m lol ain't going to happen if thatst he case

Pompey having signed Joe Devera are now linked with former Oxford left back/left midfielder Liam Davis.

Very good player. Good luck to Liam where ever he plays next season

Davis is technically a very good player, just can't defend to save his life, his positioning is woeful. Train him up at left wing and Pompey could have a great player on there hands. This one is quite realistic, from an Oxford fan

Would have stayed at OUFC if he wasn't constantly injured!
His groans and hamstrings are made of jelly!
A very good attacking left back. He's a lot better attacking from deep.

Vaughan is Derby's first target, but with him looking set to join Huddesfield (my sources) as they are offering higher wages and Clough isn't willing to break the wage structure to bring him to the club.

Derby do have back up targets, and they include two young strikers. Will Grigg of Walsall and Johnny Russell of Dundee United.

Clough has personally watched both and will make inquiries for both after Vaughan makes his final decision. {Ed003's Note - Russell was on about moving abroad last I saw and I don't mean England}

I'll answer that one for you Ed. The club and Russell both came out and said that this 'wanting to go abroad' was just hot air from his agent trying to manufacture a deal. I recall hearing Russell parted ways with his agent over that but that might just be hearsay.
