Arsenal REALISTIC rumours:
savic will be given another trial at the end of the season. he flattered to deceive in his december trial, but wenger wants to give him another shot. if he impresses, he will be signed for £2.75m, the minimum release clause in his contract.
chamakh is coming in for free, arsenal will not announce until the end of the season to prevent any destabilisation, as bordeaux are gunning for the french title.
it is likely that eduardo will depart in the summer as he will not be getting much game time nxt season either. wenger will at least look to recoup the £8m he spent on him. Vela will be given another season out on loan, but this time within the premiership.
Fabianski is will either be sold or sent out on loan. my bet is he will be sold, for around £3m. Almunia will stay for one more season, expect mannone to go out on loan. Szczesny to stake his 1st team claim.
in defence, silvestre and senderos will depart upon the expiry of their contracts (good riddance). wenger will ultimately fail to keep gallas, roma are in for him and will offer him a longer contract than arsenal will. armand traore may well leave on loan, though he is very keen to make it at arsenal. fran merida realises he will never get ahead of fabregas, nasri, diaby et al in the pecking order and will return to spain for free.
Havard Nordtveit may be in the 1st team squad for next season. sol campbell will also be retained for another season, after which he will retire and become part of the arsenal coaching staff.
At GK, Robert Green will be brought in. though almunia will stay for one more season, he will be second choice behind Green. Szczesny to make up the numbers, but expect him to be number 1 in 2 seasons.
In defence, Sakho will be brought in. Wenger is a huge admirer of Sakho, who is a full french international, tall, powerful and clever and has the potential to be the next gallas. he is left footed however, so wenger will also want to sign a right sided defender. As Eboue has shown great prowess up the pitch, he will move there permanently, leaving Sagna at RB. a CB who can play across the back 4 will be signed. the player being looked at at the moment is vdWiel of Ajax, same club arsenal got vermaelen from. Clichy and Gibbs to be LBs.
Eastmond will be sent out on loan to gain experience. Cover will therefore be needed for Song. the player coming in must be cover, and not a replacement. therefore he will have to be very experienced and old. Wenger is looking at Mahmadou Diarra of Madrid and Senna of Villareal.
nobody will be signed is attacking midfield, unless Ramsey is projected not to return within a year. a whole host of players are being looked at, including Moussa Sissoko, Stephen Ireland, rafael vdVaart, Ryan Babel and Nuri Sahin. However top of the list has to be Eden Hazard. unfortunately, given the attention being shown in him by clubs in europe backed by mindless sugardaddy billionaire chairmen, expect arsenal to be priced out of a move for him.
up front, as explained, the departures of eduardo (sale) and vela (loan) will be countered by the signing of chamakh on a free transfer. with rvp and bendtner already there, one exttra striker may be enough. however wenger is also eyeing up other strikers in case he feels the need for another. names include balloteli, l traore, remy and dzeko. jay simpson will return to the emirates to provide cover.
recap:
out: fabianski (3), silvestre(f), senderos(f), gallas(f), merida(f), eduardo (8), vela(l), eastmond(l).
in: green(6), sakho(10), vdWiel(8), savic(2), mdiarra(2), chamakh(f)

If Liverpool finish outside the top 4 Rafa will probably walk as he promised 4th to the fans. Real Madrid, who are out of the Champions League, will appoint him as their new manager. Rafa in will mean Alonso out cos Rafa will probably try and buy sum 1 crap to play CM. Alonso's preferred destination should be Liverpool as he never said goodbye to the fans who adored him. But it all depends on whether AC Milan have a good run of results and Inter Milan do not. If they do, Mourinho will be sacked, especially if Chelsea beat them. Mourinho will go to Liverpool, his boyhood club. That is if Chelsea or Arsenal win the league. AF will want to stay at the manks for another season to try to overtake Liverpool in League titles. If Mourinho is at Liverpool then the owners (probably someone from the midle east) will fully back him in the Transfer Market.

Everything should be dependant on something else.

By the way before I get slated it is an idea from an optimistic Liverpool fan (not many left)

Nottingham Forest are in Talks to take Tough Tackling Bristol Rovers Midielder Stuart Campbell to the City Ground on a Loan deal till the end of the season as a replacement for the injured Paul Mckenna, this will be sanctioned by the Rovers Directors as it would Get Campbell off the wage bill and give Forest an option to buy him at the end of the season. It is well known that Rovers Will do anything to save money and they Realise that they have no realistic chance of making the Play–offs this season.

15 Mar 2010 16:58:49
Any chance someone come please tell us some rumours that are true about Forest??

To the guy who posted this

Celtic FC News:

Mcgeady and Brown to stay, N'geumo made permenent deal also.
Looking to make Kamara and Braafheid permenant also, Keane extremely doubtful. Rassmuesen to shine next sean.

Rangers to sign nobody because nobody wants to play for the manky side of Glasgow. Davie Weir to make an early retierment, feel sorry for his career ending at such a young age!

You obviously don't know your facts as Braafheid has already said that he is at Celtic for one reason and that's to get into the Dutch World Cup squad which is highly unlikely as he is rubbish, he will definetly head back to Bayern Munich after the loan deal. McGeady in my opinion looks like he could be off in the summer with Birmingham looking most likely and Boruc could be set for a move to Germany. Celtic do want to sign Keane but Tony Mowbray has already said that signing him has nothing to do with him.

As for Rangers, obviously there will be very little cash if any in the summer but expect a couple of players to come in and maybe a few loan deals and free transfers

ARSENAL
I find fellow Arsenal fan's rumours extremely amusing as they indicate that Wenger will be making many signings & numerous changes. They should know from experience that this isn't Wenger's way. I expect Arsenal to keep the same 3 goalkeepers. Defensively I expect one centre back for sure & possibly two, if, as expected Senderos, Campbell, Sylvestre & possibly Gallas depart at the end of the season. I don't expect any midfield signings as we have numerous midfield options. Up front it sounds like Chamakh is on his way to the Emirates. So its two 1st team signings (incl Chamakh) or three if we require an extra central defender.
So next season expect:
Goalkeepers: Almunia, Fabianski & Mannone
Right–Backs: Sagna & Eboue
Left–Backs: Clichy & Gibbs, possibly Traore as well
Centre–Backs: Vermaelen, Djourou & possibly Gallas – 1 or 2 new additions depending on how many depart.
Midfield: Fabregas, Song, Nasri, Abu Diaby, Denilson, Rosicky, Walcott, Merida, Arshavin & Wilshere.
Forwards: Van Persie, Bendtner, Eduardo, Vela & probably Chamakh.
In addition we have Ramsey back when fit, as well as some young players breaking through. With Ramsey that makes a squad of approx 28 players, excluding any youngsters returning from loan deals.

A left back will sign for forest by 5pm today from a pl club.

15 Mar 2010 10:09:17
Alan Curbishley will be named as Watford's new manager in the next few weeks. GT has had talks with him and arrangements are on the way.Malky wants to stay and GT has promised him that he will still be around. If Curbishley agrees, Malky will be his no.2 just like how he has always been. Malky admits he is having a hard time motivating his players and fears that after losing to Peterbrough, all looks pretty glum in the dressing room.

15 Mar 2010 10:43:19
Forest fans relax as a much sought left back will sign TODAY. Cannot name names I am afraid. Perhaps now the ego mongers will be quiet. Latest thing is to blame Forest Board members for trying to undermine forums such as this. What are these people on?? Trust me, my neighbourgh knows all. Saphead.

Phil Brown is lining up a 1.3m bid Leicester City's Lloyd Dyer should Hull go down – They will need to cut the wage budget and Lloyd thinks he will be replacing people on double what he will be earning. which will already be substantially more than what Leicester City are willing to pay.

FAO The Cardiff fan,

Yes, it was me you saw at Leicester – good to finally put a face to a poster.

There's been a lot of speculation about exactly what is happening at the club, and whilst it may appear that the Malaysians will invest we still do not know how much.

Peter is due for talks on Tuesday at the Cheltenham Festival with his investor. This meeting was brought forward, as Peter wants desperately to remain part of the Cardiff City 'family', and he has provisionally agreed to a demand – the two directors that will go immediately once the money is in the bank are STEVE BORLEY and DATO TAN CHIEN GHEE. It's also likely Harris, Guy and Hall will be told to leave as well.

The new investor is thought to not want a board of more than five people, and wants Peter to stay ONLY UNTIL he is settled. Then Peter will go (he wants to leave) and has agreed to retire from football. The new investor will be bringing a new person to the board as vice–chairman, but will not join until Peter leaves.

In short, new board is:

Investor, Investor's Friend, Alan Flitcroft, New Group Finance Manager & A.N. Other. Although, if Alan departs (he is mulling over leaving) then it will be a totally new board.

As for manager, the investor 'has no problem' with David Jones staying and has called him 'one of the best managers in the league'. However, contingency plans are in place and a shortlist of new managers has been made to Peter for consideration.

Peter has set a deadline of 12 noon May 4th for the investor to cash funds with the club, and it is hoped that Tuesday's meeting will suss out whether the investor is 'wheat' or 'chaff'.

West Ham look set to raid Birmingham City with Liam Ridgewell and Seb Laarson being the two main targets. Both would be useful for the clud. Ridgewell– we need a CB of a decent standard as Upson looks set to leave for either Man City, Tottenham or Arsenal.
Laarson– Another good signing even though we have alot of midfield players already. A good allrounder much like Valon Behrami. My GUESS is that if we do get Laarson, Behrami may be sold as Laaron will not cost a penny.
There are also rumours we are looking to get Benitez (chu cho). However, as Birmingham have more money and we have a good number of strikers, this is highly unlikely.

First of all to the person who said fabregas is to go to barcelona for 30m..
real madrid have alredy offered 40m for him which was instantly rejected, he said he would love to play in spain but he didn't mention he was interested in barcelona in particular.
if he is to go the absolute least they will offer is 50m since he is arguably the best midfeilder in the world according to bbc sports and is younger than ribery who is going to be sold for 60milish.
anyways back to the afc news.

arsenal are definatly going to be signing a new goalkeeper the most likely candiate for that job will be fernando muslera and either almunia or fabianski will be departing and mannonne going on loan.
arsenal also have big interest in hugo lloris and neuer.
sakho will possibly be joining aswell to back up the centre back since sanderos is going out on a freebie and silvestre/gallas are going to be used as a part exchange for diarra or zidan.
since nasri proved wenger wrong that he plays better attacking than defending expect another defencive midfeilder, probably a young and cheap one to back up denilson and song. nasri is to play attaking midfeild and right wing.
one of either rosciky or walcott is very likely to go on sale aswell, probably walcott since lfc are to go on a massive shopping spree in the summer and walcott is on top of their list.
1 or 2 defenders are to come in aswell the only one that can be considered possible at best is zapata since their is not much info from players on this.
if fabregas is to go (which is very unlikely almost certainly not going to happen this year) but if he does yohann gourcuff will be replacing him.
carlos vela won't be given many first team chances at the start of the season according to what the coaches told vela and is likely to be going out on loan to gain more experience (la galaxy and new york bulls are alredy interested).
eduardo is also going to be leaving for around 9m or in exchange for the players stated previously.
dont think wenger has had this much money to spend for around 7 or 8 years so expect alot of departures and alot of cheap but effecting buys.

merida is not going out on a freebie wenger really likes him and he is alredy playing on the sub bench as he was yesterday against hull, there is a 50% chance that he will be going to athletico madrid on loan but nothing to support that as of yet.

also either arshavin, van persie and bentner leave (which is very unlikely but there are rumors of this) then expect david silva and david villa to replace them either or buys or exchange/part exchange for arshavin rvp and mr bentner.

bordeoux have confirmed chamakh is coming in as a freebie to arsenal.

ramsey is to start playing for arsenal after around 10 league matches of next season (tough he heals before that he needs training etc) and will NOT be leaving the emirates and nor will jack wilshere who has been there since he was a kid and is alredy predicted to be the future captain of afc.

mohammed zidan is looking more likely a signing for arsenal

lastly alot of youth players will be signed this year since wenger has a little money in his pocket this year and alot of money will be spent on youth scout.
