Allardyce will not sign Diouf for a straight swap with Ameobi since Diouf will be playing in the African nations. Allardyce will not sign any Africans who will be in the competition. And since Diouf will be absent, Megson is poised to make a £2 million bid for contract rebel Luke Moore. He can be guaranteed first team football at the Reebok as Megson prefers a 4–4–2 but only has Anelka as a real centre forward at the minute with Diouf and Davies used as wingers.

Ive herd that Derby are looking at MK Dons forward Leon Knight.

Also Plymouth argyle will be buying bradley wright philips and nathan Dyer.

Quentin Fortune will sign for Sunderland in January.

Neil Killkenny to sign for Oldham in a permanent deal in January with a fee of around 500 k.

Arsene Wenger has a top class squad now. he just needs final touch to make them world beating side. 3–4 good signings. Gunners are going to rock the world. if all goes as Mr Wenger planned this Summer. he will land his primary targets next Summer.

Samir Nasri (15 mn) and Kaka (45 mn with gorcuff as smoke screen). shocking but yes. since both are cup tied so are not eligible for champions leegue. so forget transfer in jan. forget modrica transfer. Arsenal did not do it in Summer due to his price tag. now it's twice of that due to Chelsea and FC Barcelona. also due to work permit. see off modrica to Spain.

Jan transfers.

Out–Sendros, Gilberto (Juve), song, Eboue (Hammers/Everton)

In–mputu, ibrahim (PSV), nikolov

also a centre back who has primiership experience. montoring Wes Brown situation. micah Richards.

I have it on good authority that Everton will swoop for Steve Sidwell

Celtic moves in January will be simple. Nobody moves as big in the winter as these posts are suggesting. Former Dundee Goal Keeper Ryszard Gorski and Sporting Braga forward Lenny will be the only ones brought in.

expect west ham to go for Crouch though Tottenham and Manchester City would be the 2 favourites, shorey is a likely signing along with giles Barnes.

1 last thing if baldini does not go with capello to the England job and signs as our technical director (he's been in meetings with us) expect a few Italians to be turning up at Upton Park

  plyouth argyle

hi all, have just received news that highly rated Peterborough forward Aaron Mclean is on his way to Plymouth Argyle for £400,000 this news shouldn't really be on here as it is complete fact, expect the deal to go through early January.

Ian Holloway has made bids for the following Plymouth players: David Norris (£2 million), Barry Hayles (£100 k) and Marcel Seip (£1.5 million). Plymouth boss Paul Sturrock has called it an insult. Expect a deal in the region of £4.5 million for all three in January.

Plymouth boss Paul Sturrock has told the following players they can leave the club in January if an acceptable offer comes In:

Paul Connolly (unless he signs new contract)

Nick Chadwick

Matt Doumbe (unless he signs new contract)

Rory Fallon

Cherno Samba

Luke Summerfield

Plymouth have received concrete offers for:

Paul Connolly (Wolves) £350 k – rejected

Matt Doumbe (Hibernian) £300 k – rejected

David Norris (Leicester) £2 million – rejected

Barry Hayles (Leicester) £100 k – rejected

Marcel Seip (Leicester/West Bromwich) £1.5 million – rejected

Nick Chadwick (MK Dons) £100 k

Plymouth have made offers for the following:

Yoan Folly (Sheff Wednesday) £200 k

Leon Best (Sheff Wednesday) £350 k

Steven McLean (Cardiff) £450 k

Steven O'Halloran (Aston Villa) Loan

Adel Taarabt (Tottenham) Loan

Nigel Quashie (the Hammers) £550 k

Elliott Ward (Coventry) £500 k

Jon–Paul McGovern (Swindon) £200 k

Ben Tozer (Swindon) Loan

CELTIC: Derek Riordan and Bobo Balde will be joining Plymouth in January, with defender Marcel Seip coming the other way. Straight swap.

To all those saying modric to go Spain or Chelsea then PSV or where ever, just remember that Ajax are the only ones so far to put in a bid and have it accepted. apparently he is very interested in going Ajax for the attacking play

Old Firm news – Rangers – following exit from Champions League Walter has had to rethink his signings list – do not expect any big names in, although ameobi of newastle is one that may well arrive with cousin going other way, straight swap. ugo ehioug will have contract terminated thus allowing him to move anywhere. Broadfoot and Gow will go on loan. that is about it for the rotten mob. Celtic – Riordan to Burnley for £1 million, Balde to Sunderland for nothing (although talk of stokes as part of deal) Jarosik to a Russian team £1 million, Zurawski to LA Galaxy for £1 million, Gravesen to extend loan at Everton, Sno to Norwich on loan, January venegoor back to Holland £1.5 million. Ins will be Murphy, Hibernian £1 million. Graham alexander 350 k. Benni McCarthy Blackburn £1.5 million. Henrik return is talk of the steamie and is looking more and more likely. Hail Hail to 3 in a row

The Hammers will enquire into the availability and price of Riordan and Nugent, however only one of them will come. this will see Zamora leave to either Reading or Derby and will also see Camara's loan spell terminated.

expect to see moves for yet another centre back as both Ferdinand and Gabbidon are to risky to push the club into Europe.

in the Summer, moves will be made for a decent attacking midfielder and also a left mid. Curbs is tired of etherington and feel LBM plays better behind the forwards than wide left. however do not expect big money players to come in – the new chairman is more concerned with the stadium than team expansion for now

Some updates from Murray Park here.

After the disapointment of Wednesday Walter wants the fans to get things into perspective, this was a group we would never qualify from with the champions from France, Germany and FC Barcelona, the UeFa Cup is more than a great achievement, and we all no that selik are the luckiest and poorest team left in Europe, anyway, expect a few coming and going in January, out will go.

Burke 500 k – championship club

buffell £1.5 million – Anderlecht, hannover, PSV

gow – 100 k – Hibernian – Hearts

cousin – £3 million Middlesborough

hemdani – £2 million – Derby – Birmingham

boyd £4 million – Birmingham – Reading

In will come

Anthony Stokes – £2 million

Paul Robinson – £1 million

Nicolae dica – £3.5 million

kevin doyle – £1 million+ Boyd

And the league flag is coming home

Have heard in Glasgow Rangers will be signing Gattuso, Miller and Van Bronkhorst all in the January transfer window

Expect Man Unitednited to go for Saviola. He has not had enough chances at Real Madrid and he will fancy a move to Man United as he is sure of getting atleast many subins as Saha will not be fit for long.
