Good sign we are trying to get rid of chadwick

14 Jun 2013 22:47:11
Bristol Rovers will sign Jamie White from Salisbury on a two year deal next week.

John Joe O'Toole deal very close to completion.

15 Jun 2013 02:15:30
Bristol Rovers close to re-capturing Byron Anthony from Newport County for an undisclosed fee. Source - From within the club.

Would be great to have JJ and Jamie White at the club next week, hope your right! Don't think we'll be back for Byron though!

The Jamie White and O'toole rumour is more likely but to be honest you were putting 2 and 2 together really?
as for Anthony there is no chance of that happening.

Byron won't get a game if he joins.

I actually heard something similar regarding Byron from a guy I know who normally has reliable sources. Apparently John Ward sees Byron Anthony as the colossal first ball winning centre back we've so desperately been lacking.

Parkes is a ball winning centre back?

Byron isn't better than Parkes or McChrystal and I think I would prefer Kenneth ahead of him. Also from what I have seen in last seasons pre seasons, reserve and youth games Keary would be ahead of him. Would be an expensive 5th choice centre back.

14 Jun 2013 22:38:06
Aberdeen are showing an interest in hearts players John Sutton and Ryan Stevenson after hearts admitted all players were for sale.

14 Jun 2013 21:25:22
Ecuadorian superstar winger to sign for West Ham. 5 million deal close to being done.

By the name of Jefferson Montero

Funny that because I'm pretty sure he has a 2.5 mill release clause-this was confirmed when Wigan nearly signed him last year

14 Jun 2013 22:42:48
Epl newbies crystal palace are looking to strengthen there strike force, and are eying up celtic top shot gary hooper, the offer is to be around 5 million pounds

Some of these are laughable.

Isn't he going to sign for hull?

5 million? far too cheap for a great player

14 Jun 2013 22:22:06
Heard from reliable source that Matt killgallon will snub Ipswich town and op for signing 3 year deal with Birmingham city instead of 2 yr contract on offer by tractorboys. His prefered club was Ipswich but has chosen to go to Bryn on longer contract

Would like to think it's true, but have my doubts.

15 Jun 2013 00:07:42
To be fair ipswich are probably better off. Kilgallon was a great championship player but hasn't played much in recent years.

Must meen the curtis davies is leaving.

14 Jun 2013 22:08:45
Kevin McHattie of hearts is set to have a trial at Leeds United.

14 Jun 2013 20:40:11
With the departure off Jason Kennedy looking certain, Keith Hill is looking to bring in another experienced central midfielder to Rochdale, those mentioned include Kevin Fahey and Jon paul Mcgovern

after the signing of Lancashire, one more central defender is on the horizon looking back to the possibility of Nathon Stanton, who previously played under Hill at dale

15 Jun 2013 16:02:01
Keith hill has given him a week to sign otherwise game over I would bring in jason taylor of rotherham or even atickson of bradford.

14 Jun 2013 20:27:04
Oxford's search for a Poacher has ended, Charlie MacDonald released by Leyton Orient will sign a two year deal next week.

We've been linked with him quite a bit over the years. And were close to signing him when he was at gravesend about 5/6 yrs ago
His goals ave dried up quite a bit over the past yrs. but that's been in a higher league. He's in his early 30's which wilder said a couple of signings would be. Him signing would mean, definitely no tubbs

14 Jun 2013 21:22:59
Saints sign dejan lovren from olympique lyonaise on afour year contract.

14 Jun 2013 21:18:26
COMING OUT OF POSH and that is I have just talked to Dwight Gayle and he said that he is going to Aston Villa for talks after POSH accepted a bid of 3 million plus Jordan Bowery of Villa on a season long loan.

Posh would not accept that bid!

Minimum for Gayle will be 7 Million {Ed003's Note - Crikey! }

^of course they would accepted that bid you person! They would even If they were good enough to survive in the champ. Plus were aren't signing him we are sign Nicholas helenius who is undoubtedly better

We want Helenius not Gayle. We've promoted more of our youth system which won the NextGen series (Young people's CL). Gayle is no longer a Villa target.

14 Jun 2013 21:15:23
Dejan lovren signs for Southampton for four years for an undisclosed fee. tv now

Great signing! Well done NC. Got it right again!

This lad has the potential to be world class. Massive signing. COYR

Massive signing the big challenge now is which CB do we move off the books?

14 Jun 2013 21:13:14
Johan Elmander is in talks with Hull City!

Would be a terrible signing

14 Jun 2013 20:44:04
Apparently Maynor Figeroua is a done deal and Costel Pantilimon is very close. Hull City are also said to be upping offers for Curtis Davies and Gary Hooper.

15 Jun 2013 11:30:27
Pantilmon will be leaving Man City for 1st team football, and Hull are/were interested, but he is holding out for a move abroad. Look to Fiorentina. Meanwhile Hull are closing in on Allan McGregor, who was apparently always the 2nd choice of Bruce, after Schmeichel.

14 Jun 2013 19:51:12
Liverpool to go for Derbys Jeff Hendrick

We're the hell have you got that!

As a derby season ticket holder this guy will be a class player, Republic of Ireland international at 21 and over 90 games for Derby!

If you bid around 6 million I think we will accept. In my opinion he will be better than Shelvey and Henderson after 1 season in the premier league but obviously I am bound to be slightly bias.

I don't think he has outgrown derby county yet but will in the next year or two. He is going to have a massive season in the championship this season, might do a lampard and make double figures from CM.

Think it is just pick a promising Derby midfielder and link him with Liverpool week.

I like Jeff cause he is a daft lad, Ben Davies told him that there was a pet shop in Derby that sold wild animals such as tigers etc. Jeff wanted Davies to drive him there after training.

Too loveable for the prem, unless he makes with us :-)

COYR

Derby Fan here. Reading some of the replies, yes Hendrick is a decent player and I agree he has not yet out grown Derby and there is no doubt he will over the next few seasons, but 6 million? We would be lucky to get half of that for Jeff. Also getting into double figures scoring next season? I will be very surprised if he was to score more than 5! He is not a goal getter. He could be a key player next campaign but he is no world beater!

I agree he is a good player and had a cracking 2nd half of the season. However I don't think he could break in the Liverpool team.

Think his time with the Republic squad will have done and the rest of our players the world of good. Needs to rest up now.

Lol and the time he text the team saying Kieron Freeman's missus was "2cm diluted" (she was pregnant). The guy's a joker!

14 Jun 2013 19:50:45
Danny Hylton to Rotherham done deal

Already signed.

Hope not

14 Jun 2013 19:42:56
paul bignot will rejoin Newport County after his release from blackpool

Good move needs to get game time.
could be good player at leauge 2 level

14 Jun 2013 19:38:09
I hear that Maynor Figueroa has signe a 3 year deal with Hull, a lot of sources are reporting this, anyone know this to be true?

Also the situation with Curtis Davies and the list of Goalkeepers we are after (Schmeical, McGregor, Bolat, Schwarzer etc)

Any news guys and Eds?

- Rossy

15 Jun 2013 07:31:27
maynor figuera has actually completed a 2 year deal

15 Jun 2013 11:31:11
McGregor all but signed. In talks with agent

14 Jun 2013 19:03:23
Oxford are close to signing Rotherham winger Lionel Ainsworth

No Chance, a winger is not on Oxford's wish list.

They can have him

We ain't after a winger. So oufc ain't interested in him

14 Jun 2013 18:53:54
Ex-Real Madrid star Royston Drenthe pens a three-year deal with Reading having agreed personal terms. Nigel Adkins could now follow that up with a jaw-dropping swoop for £8 million-rated Celtic striker Gary Hooper. The local paper understands Hooper met with Reading's representatives earlier this week with a view to making a big-money switch to Madejski Stadium. Hot wax and photo shoot for one previous poster on here!

Drenthe yeah looks like it, Hooper not a chance.

Why is there not a chance of him coming to Reading? Drenthe coming to Reading is much more left-field and out of the blue than Hooper. Plus there won't be many teams dishing out £8million for him. Reading can afford to, 1) because we have the money and 2) because so far our other two signings have been free.

Actually the hooper deal is very much on!

Why oh why would Hooper go to Reading? He want premier league football to stand a chance of going to the world cup next year! And £8 million your chairman and manager but be on the loopy juice. He will go to a Prem club for about £5mil so keep you hands in your pockets.

Can't wait to hear the Thai Tims Hooper leaving song on YouTube

Why oh why would Hooper go to Reading? He want premier league football to stand a chance of going to the world cup next year! And £8 million your chairman and manager but be on the loopy juice. He will go to a Prem club for about £5mil so keep you hands in your pockets.

Yer yer yer another outside supporter. Most likely of one of those failing 'big clubs' who still can't see why reading is an attractive club for players

Yes you are right, I can't see why

14 Jun 2013 18:50:18
Representatives of Celtic and Gary Hooper have to in dicussion with Reading agree an £8Million move to Berkshire. Deal could be completed as early as by next week. Royals will unveil Hooper and Drenthe as players at same time

I can confirm this Adkins met with Hooper before he went on holiday. The negotiations apparently started well before the end of the season.

Person we finished 8th in our first ever season in the prem better than you'll ever do. URZ

14 Jun 2013 18:36:29
Everton are close to signing Antolin Alcaraz on a free agent.

14 Jun 2013 18:04:19
Former Port Vale winger Ashley Vicent is in talks with Bradford City

I doubt it, can't imagine he will enjoy playing behind Reid, Thompson and Hines if he stays

Spot on! If only he was as good as he thinks he is!
Anyone know where Dopug Loft is going? He isn't staying at Vale and I have heard both Bradford and Rotherham are in for him on higher money than PVFC have offered.

14 Jun 2013 17:56:36
Southampton are very close to completing the signing of Lyon defender Dejan Lovren.

You heard it here first.

SM

We are close to signing everyone at the moment! Would be nice for it to actually happen as as usual we are being left behind by other clubs NC needs to pull his finger out

No more ranting Super Saint. patience and faith required

We have officially signed him. £8.5 million. What an amazing signing! COYR!

Spurs fan but think southampton will be a force next season

Wow
Well done MP and NC. he's young, talented and if £8.5m. seemingly very good value!
COYR

I'm not remotely worried at the moment. We have money, we have time and we have NC. For the first time. ever. I am not worried we won't sign anyone. Relax super. We have no idea what's going on but I expect NC is working hard. Astori next?

Would love Astori but I don't think we will sign another CB can see Forren being his partner!

Saints may as well go into the loan market look at the signings who hardly ever play even Ramirez never has a full game.

Several figures have been quoted from £6.8million to £8.5million. No clear indication on what is the true cost. Possible that £6. 8 is the initial and with add ons it may reach £8.5million.

We don't need another CB, we'll probably sell one maybe Hoiveld will go, Lovren and Forren to be our CB partnership next year!

14 Jun 2013 17:51:24
Another name linked with middlesbrough is Norwegian centre-forward Erik Huseklepp that plays for sk brann in the Norwegian league the former Portsmouth forward could be available for as little as £500. 000

Not only is he old, but he's terrible

Did good for Pompey when he was in the Championship.

15 Jun 2013 11:53:11
Good at pompey so would recommend him

He is not terrible at all he scored a good amount of goals and works hard for the team. well he did for pompey!

Old? He is not old, he is like 28. He was okay for us (Pompey) in Championship, I think he just needed more time to adapt his game.

Great at pompey and if 28 is now classed as old what is this world coming to

Not fit enough at pompey. needed time to adapt to English game, but has the potential to be very good

14 Jun 2013 17:40:35
Pompey are signing Barnet's Holmes, swindon's Rooney and free agent Shaun cooper in the next 2 weeks😛!

14 Jun 2013 17:38:42
Sheffield Wednesday are close to agreeing loan deals for Jamie Vardy from Leicester and Connor Wickham from Sunderland. This paves the way for Chris O'grady to sign permanently for Barnsley and Gary Madine to leave on a short term loan with a host of league 1 clubs interested including Swindon, Bradford, Tranmere, Rotherham and Carlisle.

If Carlisle are interested they are more likely to get him, just remove clauses in his transfer

There is no way he would be welcomed back at CUFC after the way he left and his off field behaviour.

I wouldn't want him back at Carlisle, bad role model, and comes across an arse

Of course we'd take madine back, despite his attitude, he's a class footballer for league one level and would be a better than good replacement for lee miller (if he goes). But doubt he'd come back even if we tried to sign him, even though I'm sure cufc aren't.

Great result if true. O'Grady one of the worst strikers ever seen and I saw Barry Conlon so that's saying something.

O'grady seemed to do fine at barnsley so don't know what the hell Wednesday were doing with him. Perhaps the long ball game they play doesn't suit him

Madine, back NO THANKS yob, RUNS LIKE A TURKEY and is a little thug

Ogrady worst striker you've ever seen didnt. he score 16 goals or something for Wednsdays and Barnsley combined last season?

14 Jun 2013 17:31:21
Swansea to sign de guzman on a permanent this week also expected to sign Ruben Castro and Nathan Redmond within the next 2 weeks.

Ruben castro is too old. swansea need younger forwards in the team.

I hope this is 100% true would love them 3 at swansea

Castro is 32 this month and currently has an assault allegation to deal with so doubt we'll be looking at him. I'll be very surprised if we do!

So is kone

14 Jun 2013 17:12:11
Carayol going out will pave way for the signing of sammy ameobi, Ishmael miller and graham dorrans, with ameobi and dorrans both valued at a combined £3m and miller being part of carayol deal.

Carayol will not be leaving the boro this summer, amoebi will not be signing and Dorrans is pie in the sky

He's going nowhere

Selling carayol and buying miller and sammi ameobi would have to be the worst bit of business boro have ever done. mowbray OUT

Muzzy won't go anywhere

14 Jun 2013 17:09:16
There has been a dramatic u-turn in the Matt Tubbs saga & he will officially sign for Rotherham on a 3 year deal from Bournemouth early next week.

Here we go again, the tubbs-gate scandal. He isn't signing and never will, our money can be better spent imho. Put it to bed and let it rest.

Tubbs just winding up Evans. Expect he enjoys it

My mate was speaking to matt in costa earlier. and he says he isn't leaving (maybe on loan) but wants to try and get in the team. and I think he is more than capable of scoring goals for us.

My mate was speaking to matt in costa? If you say so, I was talking to Carlton cole in sainsburys

14 Jun 2013 17:04:36
Chelsea look set to sign PSV's Belgian forward Dries Mertens.

14 Jun 2013 17:01:31
Bradford have offered a trial to Mansfield forward Matt Green. Birmingham, Sheffield wednesday, oldham and tranmere are all also monitoring him.

Just hope he's better than Jake Speight

15 Jun 2013 12:33:15
Bradford reportedly on this site had a £75k offer turned down last January for Green. Cashless Birmingham are still in the frame from what I hear. but I think it more likely that Green will end up at amore illustrious L1 club.

14 Jun 2013 16:47:19
Hull City are going to listen to offers for Aaron McLean. The 30 year old striker is not wanted at Hull City and the clubs that are interested are Bradford City and Peterborough United.

Peterborough are not interested end of

He won't join Bradford either.

No chance of dropping 2 divisions.

Wont be comming back to Posh.

He's bad enough to drop two divisions! I would pay another club to take him!

14 Jun 2013 16:40:26
Luke Rooney to Cheltenham deal done, Swindon to use some of wages to fund Adam rooney return.

Hope not, far better players than Rooney looking for a club.

14 Jun 2013 16:09:14
Leeds have admitted defeat in their bid for talented Peterborough wing back Tommy Rowe because they could not meet Posh's £300,000 asking price. Source: Peterborough Evening Telegraph.

Leeds have not made a offer b fry confirm that fact

Clearly wrong with your figure of £300,000 for him, Darragh MacAnthony has stated it will take a 7 figure sum to prise him from Posh.

It's more like 3 million posh want for him and he is worth every penny

15 Jun 2013 07:21:44
one year left on his contract,
300k or nowt at end of next season.
3 million stupid talking

It's amazing how much all these Peterborough players are worth, weren't they relegated last season?

15 Jun 2013 10:43:59
McDermott is very interested in Rowe and although Peterborough claim Leeds cannot afford it is still a deal that could happen and Peterborough only made this statement because they know they are going to loose their prize asset

It's amazing how many want these Posh players even though they were relegated?. something to do with the fact that in the last half of the season Posh were one of the top six performing clubs, only relegated due to an abysmal start to the season.

Rowe is a good player, but definitely not their prize asset. There is at least 6 or 7 players that are more of a prized asset than him

Although losing Tommy will leave a small void in the squad, we will hardly be losing our prize asset. Tommy has given good solid service, but is nowhere near as influential as the likes of Lee Yomlin or Dwight Gayle. They are our prize assets and Leeds could definitely not afford them!

Tommy Rowe is big leeds fan and posh do not like the fact that he says he will only join leeds but really not bothered, posh ate L1 for a reason and that is players were not good enough. gayle was L2 last yr and is not good enough for top end of championship.

Top 6 performers for last half of season. lol, if that was true posh would not of been relegated.

Meant Tomlin!

Perhaps Leeds are not as wealthy as there fans think they are!

It's a fact that from early December posh were in top six form guide explain that

Gayle not good enough for top 6 Championship! That's funny I'm sure he's been linked with Fulham, funny that.

"Top six performers". check it out from December 15th. stats don't lie!

If you simply look at the stats they quite clearly show that Posh WERE in the top 6 performing clubs for that half of the season, it was the first half that relegated them, don't just brush off facts as fiction because you're too lazy to open another web page to check before you spout crap

Tommy Rowe is far from a Leeds fan, he's a man united fan who was part of the youth team at Old Trafford!

Makes no odds at all who Tommy Rowe is a fan of as he is a professional and will go where he gets the best deal.

If you look at last seasons results POSH lost 1st seven games when Rowe was injured. He came back and they won and then was injured again and lost the next few. I would say that that means he is fairly influential to the set up at POSH

16 Jun 2013 16:34:42
okay maybe he isn't Peterborough's prize asset, but he is certainly one of their main young players alongside the likes of Gayle and Tomlin and Posh certainly want to keep him but it seems he would prefer to move and stay in the Championship

Posh players are worth a lot. Tommy is young and has improved massively. People underestimate the ability of Posh players - Dwight Gayle and Tomlin will be two of the best strikers in the league.

14 Jun 2013 16:03:57
Good source has told me that ipswich are talking with Bristol city over right back Richard Forster & also intrested in mk dons attacking midfielder Shaun Williams.

I will pay 1 million for you to take foster off us, he is terrible! worst signing the club have made in years!

Hope there is some truth in this

Ipswich can take shaun for no less than 750k

Ooh, I hope so (Foster)

Shaun Williams is a central midfielder by-trade, more-so a centre-half now. He has played an attacking midfield role on the rare occasion but he is a centre-half.

Best player in League One by a million miles. FACT.

Shaun Williams is not an attacking midfielder. He is a defensive one and usually plays at centre back for us because we have a tiny squad.

Foster is okay, but he isn't a fullback. he's more of a winger really. JET for foster straight swap call it quits?

I will drive foster there for you!

Take foster please take foster I will also drive him there for you

No, I'll do it, I've got the Morris minor fired up already! Ida lovitt

Foster is awful, has to be up there with the worst players I've seen play for city.

Lets all drive foster to make sure he has gone!

Im not driving him what a waste of petrol (that'd be worth more than him)

Foster has been given a raw deal by City fans. He isn't great, but he get individually blamed for team mistakes.

Not a great defender, but gets up and down well, great pace, alright crosser, if you have more of the ball than you don't he could be a usful additon.

His biggest strengh is that he appears confident (though not nessisarily great) playing wing or full back on the left or right, so not a bad player to have on the bench.

That said he is all but done at Bristol City as he gets groans and jeers just warming up, he won't ever win the angry mob back, so his best bet is a move.

Lummie I used to agree with your opinions but to say foster is actualy an ok defender my judgement of your opinions just went down hill rapidly let me guess you also rate Ryan Taylor and Neil Kilkenny

Ryan Taylor is great at what he does wins every header and holds the ball up we'll, Kilkenny is okay but gets shouted at whenever he makes a mistake that over players get away with.

I agree with Lummiepie, as he might not be the best player in the world, he doesn't deserve some of the abuse from fans. imo he's really a winger and i'd like to see him given a chance if albert departs. good crosser, quick, knows a few tricks, could be usefull

Holds the ball up he's a striker he played 22 games last season And scored no goals I agree with above comment and killa is a shocking player on far too much money if any team comes in for either of them then get rid

I actually don't mind Kilkenny or Taylor, but there is a crucial difference between those two that means one has to go and one can be given a chance in League 1.

Its simply money, both players can do a job, but even if Kilkenny has a storming season will we have had value?

The truth is you can expect City to have 20 top class players, but the ones with limited ability need to be on a wage that reflects that. Its paying the average players highly, and the poor players well that leads to the chuff they turn out.

I have seen Foster have good games and bad games in lots of positions, I know he is not a star, but a reasonable squad player, when he came out of the side when McInnes left we still performed poorly at the back and conceaded plenty and went down.

The people that were booing him before Christmas will never admit that taking out the player they love to hate didn't really change anything, but the fact is we were poor a s a whole.

Lummie isn't the only one who rates Killa and Taylor, think both could really be top notch at L1 level, just need to be played to their strengths - holding up the ball in Taylor's case, playing just off the front men in Killa's

I think you will find taylor scored against palace

Ha ha one goal then

If your a true reds fan then you can admit a rubbish player when you see one and not stick up for him because he wears our shirt

14 Jun 2013 15:49:22
The deal for Tranmere to sign Akpo Sodje had broken down, but fresh negotiations have now taken place and he will be joining the Wirral club shortly.

14 Jun 2013 15:46:59
Any truth in barnsley bidding to get tardiello back from Rotherham?

Nardiello, I presume.

Tardiello has never played for Barnsley?

14 Jun 2013 20:46:21
i heard that today too

No he's long gone not good enough for Barnsley

Nardiello wouldn't go.
Hes signed for 2 years with us and was our top scorer and got 19 goals last season so why would we sell him.

Well if there is I would be (as a barnsley fan) very worried. He isn't league one standard never mind championship, and that's coming from a lifelong miller.

His name is Nardeyello. sometimes called Tardiello. but to be fair, he's a jolly nice fellow. never angry and always mellow. his favourite color is bright Yellow. and the Millers crowd they like to bellow. 'go go Daniel Nardeyello' lol.

Nardiello or tardiello. Neither of them good enough for barnsley now

14 Jun 2013 15:32:19
Fiorentina and udinese want to sign city 2nd choice keeper costel pantilimon. As watford have almunia on a 1 year deal and almunia wanting higher wage. udinese would sign costel and may send him on loan to watford. but I see this not happening as a watford fan

Almunia doesn't want a higher wage, he is happy at Watford.

Almunia is out of contract in two weeks, and is already considering other options - so may not be as happy at Watford as you appear to think he is.

It has been well documented by Watford that Almunia and Hall are currently negotiating contracts and are likely to sign contract extensions. Almunia is extremely happy at Watford and it would take something special to lure him away

Almunia is staying, otherwise he would have been released by now. He sees the potential for promotion this season.

Brayford on verge of signing new two year contract as interest from Cardiff, Swansea and Stoke seems to have waned.

Talks with Watford over Forsyth deal stalled, Derby turning to target Stefano Denswill from Ajax and Nathan Ake of Chelsea. (both play CB/LB).

14 Jun 2013 17:36:03
Stoke need to premote florent cuvelier

The bray will only sign a new contract once he knows clubs won't come in for him that's how it's working.

I hope our new signings (and re-signings) have convinced Bray of our intentions and ambitions. I think that will be a big factor in whether he decides to stay or not.

Brayford was a good prospect a season or 2 ago but his progress seems to have slowed down / stopped. Unless he starts to improve again I think he's maybe found his level in the championship.

Agreed. i'm not to sure what all this hype about brayford is, he hasn't had the greatest of seasons. Probably because he's english

Maybe I go to different games than some. Brayford is a class act and is definitely premiership class. Hopefully he signs an extensionnew contract. If not I believe he's still invaluable to the team. Take the risk, keep him for the season and get promoted.

Didn't David Moyes say he was premier class this season?

Some unberleavble comments about Brayford not improving he's found his level? I've got a season ticket, and get to as many away games as possible, Brayford was one of Derby's better players last season, we desperately missed him when he was out injured, he offers a brilliant attacking outlet down that right hand side.

Come on mate be realistic. I still don't think we have nearly enough to get promoted. Especially with wigan qpr and reading challenging this year. But with russell it should be more interesting. We still need to sure up the defence if we are to even think of play offs

Still got another couple of signings to make yet. We'll be around and about the play-offs, I'm almost certain of it.

John Vicars, has confirmed only 2 more in, Forsyth and a CB.
It's the first time in a long time I'm looking forward to the new season.

If derby wanna go somewhere next year don't sign forsyth he struggled in league 2

But was solid in the Championship.

14 Jun 2013 14:59:31
Former Aldershot striker Danny Hylton has contract offers from Crewe, Rotherham, Wimbledon and Fleetwood as well as Bradford and Shrewsbury interested in him

Danny Hylton couldn't hit a barn door! No way would a League 1 club sign him.

Gone to rotherham

4 league goals last season and he gets a move to Rotherham. I should be playing football

Hope he doesn't come to Bradford. Another go at League 2 if he's lucky is surely the best he can hope for.

Just signed for Rotherscum!

14 Jun 2013 14:52:26
Scunthorpe United hoping to pull off three signings from Hearts by the end of next week- Jamie Walker, Dylan Mcgowan and Kevin McHattie.

Why would they get them

Yeah right, they are really going to want to go to Scunthorpe

14 Jun 2013 22:13:23
does anyone no anything about the trio

I am trying to think what the outcome would be be if Scunny played Hearts to get a measurement

14 Jun 2013 14:39:17
E Banks Blake and Acuna will not be signing for Boro. That is from inside the club. E Banks Blake is just his agent throwing club names around in the press and Mowbray has no interest in Acuna even if Boro could afford him.

14 Jun 2013 14:12:27
Crystal Palace are to make striker Jacob Mulenga from Dutch club FC Ultrecht thier first signing of the season. Mulenga hit 14 goals last term.

Last term. does he still play at School?

Ollie must have been given the tip by his wife. she scouts all his best players.

Reid, Beattie, Kornalenko, Husband, Bruna.

She can spot a decent player from just a video.

14 Jun 2013 13:33:14
burton to sign alex mcdonald marvin morgan and a unnamed midfilder in the coming days burton also in talks with mcgurk and phil edwards

14 Jun 2013 13:28:32
Rotherham are in talks with Iceland striker Gardar Johansson who was top scorer in the Icelandic premier league last season

14 Jun 2013 13:52:45
Rooney to Chelsea is a done deal. Watch this space

He's going to PSG or Everton.

14 Jun 2013 13:37:08
Matthew Upson linked with Championship trio Bournemouth, Watford & Wigan. The latter 2 are his most likely clubs, the rumour linking him with Leeds has no foundation

High wages and getting on a bit. Think watford would go for a younger cheaper prospect or someone on loan from udinese.

14 Jun 2013 17:14:51
If he can stay fit he'd be a decent signing for any team in the championship.

I would expect that a return to Brighton is not out of the question.

He is going to Brighton that's what he wants

15 Jun 2013 10:47:54
Upson would prefer life at Brighton but if the club cannot meet the wage requirements of Upson then this would mean he could go to a whole host of Championship clubs including Leeds but Leeds will also not be able to made the demands of his wages

Watford won't be interested we will have much better defenders by the time the season starts

I would expect him to go back to brighton but with all the mess going on there it makes you think again

14 Jun 2013 13:04:59
Goalkeeper Stephen Henderson set to return to Bristol City as clubs number one next season

Hope this is true can't see it happening though

Basso should be on trial for crimes against goalkeeping.

Sod wants paul smith from southend utd

He would be a good signing and should never have been allowed to leave in the first place, another thing to thank calamity James for. Ida lovitt

Would love to see this! hope this is true quality keeper

Poor gashead, have to make fun of basso do we? shame, you couldn't even attract a player half as good to your 'crime against football'

Stephen Henderson would be a very welcome return. Great shame he went at all.

Another name to add to my "yes please" list.

Add me to the "Bring back Hendo" club, we should never have let him go.

Mind you, we should never have signed David James, real mistake that one, although he did play alright for us.

Everyone says david james was a mistake, but just think about how much publicity he brought to the club. I remember turning on the news to 'England keeper signs for championship Bristol city' and being glad. yes okay he was awful in the end, the Watford game was the worst, but he tried hard and in my opinion will still be a Bristol city legend

Henderson never really had enough pitch time to even call it a return, and in fairness by the time we kick off will anyone he played with in his handful of apps still be around. We have changed managers about 4 times and bought all new players since he went.

David James will not be remembered as a legend, but as has always dogged him throughout his career people will always remember his howlers over his heroics.

Tom Heaton came in as his replacment did a fine job, had his bum kissed by the fans, but conceaded more goals than James ever did, working with nearly the same players.

James deserves a little more credit than he gets from our lot.

James was rubbish for us Heaton was much better do you go to the matches

14 Jun 2013 13:02:33
Pieters close to joining Fulham not Stoke, medical today ( not at Fulham but in Holland).

Eddy PSV

That's good news for Fulham. Finally a left back that can defend and attack. Riise is sometimes a liability and is past his best days. And Kieran Richardson is more injury prone than Evil Knievel.

I thought a deal needed to be agreed before a medical can take place and there also needs to be one at Fulham as well as in Holland

That's wrong no need for 2 medical as long as Fulham doctor/s are present & medical can be done b4 terms, Bent had a medical at Motspur park last Friday b4 jetting to Ireland I had this confirmed by Fulham's physio. Bent has agreed in principle to join Fulham who want an answer when the window officially opens.
Have it on good authority that Bent wants to join Fulham over Newcastle & Everton as he wants to move back down here. He was born a couple of miles from craven cottage.

Bent was born in Tooting which is not a couple of miles away its bout 7-10 miles away and the other side of the river to Fulham.

Tooting is 4 miles from craven cottage

Tooting is the other side of the bridge but not 10 miles you just drive down garrat lane and there's tooting.

14 Jun 2013 12:59:41
Zola rejected a contract worth 3k a week at Burton

Burton can't afford that.

He has not rejected anything he just hasn't responded to rowett or his agent

Burton can afford that, we've had players on more previously.

3K? Are kidding me? Burton can never pay 3K per week.

DarreN Moore was on more than that!

14 Jun 2013 12:59:20
Reading fc danny guthrie is a target for hull city who are preparing a 2.5 million bid whilst the ball playing midfielder is happy at reading now after the appointment of adkins and the style of play adapted it may be a move due to personal reasons rather than proffesional due to his wife being homesick and wanting to move back up north nearer to her family now they have another young child

14 Jun 2013 15:40:11
Guthrie has no interest in going.

Hull look destined to go straight back down and he is happy with Adkins philosophy and the intent shown by the club in buying Bridge and Drenthe as well as Pogrebnyak agreeing to stay.

His wife isn't homesick either.

£2.5m don't make me laugh, 4 minimum.

14 Jun 2013 22:26:45
£4m for Guthrie?. no thanks, and ps we will do better than Reading

Not unless you strengthen massively. You'll be after Derby's record.

Same old same old. people was saying that last time hull was in the prem and we did ok utt

We have just signed Figueroa, we're getting players like Hooper and Schwarzer, a lot better than the rubbish that you (Reading) brought in last season. Enjoy the championship.

Fig just got relegated he won't keep youbup. Hooper is going reading and gk ain't gokd

Yes and Figueroa hardly set the the bpl alight last season din't he. Yes he got relegated with wigan. Swarchzer is about 40 and will be retiring soon. Hooper maybe. Oh and also Hull got 79 points this season. That would of made you finish about 5th in 1 1/12.

I'm thinking hull will be relegated and Reading promoted again

16 Jun 2013 20:35:37
you can't seriously justify saying that just cause you got 79 points this season you wouldve got europa league this season, youd be playing against better oppositiong and getting ripped to shreds every week, at least reading looked as thought they were up for the fight this season and had average players. don't believe me? 4-3 against united 7-5 against arsenal. how many other teams did that? umm none I think, yes we went down, but were going straight back up, be a while before we will be playing hull again. so have fun there for the season youll be there {Ed003's Note - Also wasn't 79 one of the lowest point totals to get automatic promotion from the Championship ??}

Sorry you must have forgotten how Hull did against the big teams when we were in the prem:
First season:
We BEAT arsenal 2-1
We also lost 4-3 to man u
Oh yeah and we beat spurs.

Second Season (which you didn't manage):
We drew 1-1 Chelsea
We beat man city 2-1
We beat Everton 3-2

Hull are better - don't argue with FACTS.

And who said we're getting europa league? We're staying up but we aiming for stupid targets.

We managed a second season in our first stint in the prem you then followed suit. you may or may not follow suit again and get relegated let's just wait and see. your lack of goals last season will be a major concern against much better opposition this season.

I do like reading and hope they can be in the rop flight with hull I just felt insulted as a hull supporter by the coment about 79 points. :)

14 Jun 2013 12:57:07
Carayol linked with a move to Forest.

Middlesbrough won't sell him if they want to keep challlenging for promotion.

Theres no chance boro will sell their best player to a rival

14 Jun 2013 12:46:29
A member of my family used to share a house with chris lines and he told me that lines has been told he can leave Sheffield Wednesday but he has no plans to play below league 1!

14 Jun 2013 12:29:48
Highly rated Manchester United and England under 20 goalkeeper Sam Johnstone is set to Join Oldham Athletic on a season long loan where he had a short spell once before.

14 Jun 2013 15:11:23
They see him as perfect competition for his England U-20 team mate Luke Simpson

14 Jun 2013 12:24:56
Burton albion are attempting to sign Vardy on loan from Leicester and Akinfenwa on a free transfer.

14 Jun 2013 11:55:33
Rotherham are interested in Hearts striker John Sutton

14 Jun 2013 11:51:24
Billy clarke has been in shrewsbury to complete his move to Shropshire - matt tubbs still linked aswell

There is no chance tubbs will sign for town as we won't pay out large transfer fees if at all!

14 Jun 2013 12:17:16
Guy Whittingham will next week sign Adebayo Akinfenwa as his fifth striker, if this deal falls through he has also held talks with Marvin Morgan. "Whittingham is looking at one of these two as back up for Patrick Ageymang".
With Ryan Noble going elsewhere.

14 Jun 2013 11:18:57
Edison Cavani is set to snub the Premiership and find football elsewhere

14 Jun 2013 13:34:15
Are you suggesting that someone has matched the buy out clause in his contract?

14 Jun 2013 11:02:28
Port Vale want to sign Macclesfield defender Thierry Audel, but face competetion from Crewe, Notts County and Luton.

Luton had him on trial and weren't deemed good enough last season

Seen the local paper have we? Everyone's knows this is true it's not a rumour

No wonder Loft won't sign if that is the extent of Vale's ambition.

Cannot believe that's the best centre back out there. Paired up with Chilvers? What's going on?

15 Jun 2013 01:58:37
Looking very thin at the back, can't see this guy being the solution. Would like to see luke prosser back at the vale used to play right back a few years ago but has being playing centre half for southend.

Never played right back. Was rubbish at vale. No way would I have him back. Terrible

14 Jun 2013 10:52:54
Rumours around Pride Park suggest that Derby will be offloading Will Hughes to Liverpool with young Jack Robinson coming the other way. An Estimated 8 million pounds plus the player.

Sorry Liverpool fans it may be his boyhood club and dream move but Will Hughes will not be sold with a player swap.

Instead it will be 10 million pounds or more with a loan back for a season, or derby will be happy to keep hold of him on his long term contract.

Jack Robinson is a good player mind and young.

Wondering if Jack Robinson would be permanent. If it were, I'd take that. Robinson's probably worth a few million anyway and it would solve our LB problem for many years.

I think if this offer came in as much as I like will. i'm afraid derby would have to accept in my opinion

I would be worried if a decent bid came in. if it allowed Clough to rebuild furture it would have to be seriously considered.

14 Jun 2013 10:00:43
So Paul Tisdale is to resign as Exeter manager next week to take over the number 2 position at Bristol Rovers with a view to take over from JW at the end of the season! Also expect Gow to follow him to the Mem! This is from a Bristol rovers board member

Strange that the Salisbury manager has been named JW assistant.

Sorry but that's not going to happen rovers have appointed Salisbury City manager Daryll Clarke as there assistant manager. Why would Tisdale leave a managers role to become assistant anyway?

Well said mate he isn't going to leave who comes up with this stuff?

Gow is off to Bradford

Tisdale was definitely in the frame. Gow looks nailed on to go to the mem.

14 Jun 2013 01:04:52
Hi Eds. any take on the PSG managerial situation? I've heard that Laurent blanc will be ancelotti's successor.

Matred {Ed001's Note - I don't know sorry.}

Laudrups odd on

14 Jun 2013 10:41:38
Peterborough United claim they have rejected an enquiry from Championship side Leeds United for skipper Tommy Rowe.

14 Jun 2013 10:35:21
Hull moving on from Schmeichel and now talking to Allan McGregor about a deal. Figureroa about to sign up for 3 years on a free, and we are also closing in on a deal for Curtis Davies. sadly looks as though Jack Hobbs could be going the other way, along with £2.5m.
Finally, Hull upping offer for Hooper to £5m+ extras for staying up/sell-ons.

I am a regular visitor to this site, and have always stayed quiet, but at this I just can't. I'm a Hull City fan and I can't believe that Steve Bruce would swap a 23 year old top performer for a 28/29 year old Curtis Davies, this along with £2.5 million! He won't spent £3 million on Kasper Schmeical yet he'll give one of his best prospects and £2.5 million for player coming to the end of his career! Any news about this rumour and any other news Eds? - Rossy

15 Jun 2013 07:35:48
maynor Figueroa to sign a 2 year deal actually calling to tv

14 Jun 2013 10:30:53
blair sturrock to sign for Bradford City in the next 48 hours

14 Jun 2013 13:30:28
Never going to happen to old for one no pace wot so ever and useless al rnd player olny stayed in football because of his dad bt his dad dident even wnt him also bradford talking to jason kennedy and richard cresswell

I really doubt this unless his dad Paul is also about to be appointed as Bradford's manager!

Who's Blair sturrock?

Its not the sturrock the above comments above are referring to, we had him on loan last season and he played really well v arsenal in capital one cup when he came on

Turgott

Try Blair turgott

Oh so you mean Blair Turgott? Very different to Sturrock!

That was turgott not sturrock

14 Jun 2013 11:03:08
If chelsea decide to let lukaku go back out on loan, he will go straight back to west brom FACT. Can't see them letting him though because jose has said he will b used next season. Demba ba will b sold though I rekon! Victor moses is wanted by southampton on loan

Saints don't loan players unless they come with an option to buy. So made up story by you here

We don't take players on loan.
Haven't done since championship.

In one breath you say if they let him go he will come to us. in the next you say they won't let him go though? its already been stated that he isn't leaving chelsea this year. so my question to you is; what are you rabbiting on about young sir?

Hope this is true lukaku was a beast last season for the baggies would be amazing if Clarke can pull it off.

Wouldn't mind lukaku on loan

Would love to sign Moses would be a great signing!

Saying that you don't take players on loan since the championship. youve only been in the premier league for 1 year and you were dodgy. start saying stuff like that when youve established yourself in the prem like west brom

Get real lads, get ready for the free unknown foriegners, why do we have this academy, use it clarke, we seem to dump our own our local talent,

14 Jun 2013 11:02:58
Forget what your hearing out of West ham because they simply don't have the money, hence why they are now looking at Lukaku, BA and Zaha on loans. Andy Carroll's seemingly imminent move to West Ham United on a permanent basis is on the verge of collapse after the two parties were unable to agree to his terms. Its also thought that the player is holding out until Newcastle and Liverpool have both sorted out their striker issues

14 Jun 2013 10:54:48
Will huddersfield gain more transfer funds because of tha new puma sponsor for like Vaughan etc?

Are we actually being sponsored by them, I thought an agreement was just in place for them to be our kit supplier not sponsors?

I may be completely wrong but that is what I understood.

If we got puma as our main sponsor that would be a major coop!
can only see it being kit supplier!thus assuming we pay them for the privilege!UTT

There not a sponsor their suppling the kit.

Puma are just the Kit supplier! The club will still be sponsered by Rekorderlig Cider as we have a contract with them.

Puma are the new kit supplier the sponsors on both home and away shirts will be the same as last year Rekorderlig and Radien B

They are our supplier but we will have a contract with them and therefore will be given some funds

14 Jun 2013 10:10:34
El hadji diouf having a medical today, the Clarke deal looks to have fallen through

Having medical with who? Any would be a challenge seeing how he is at home at the moment

14 Jun 2013 10:10:12
Let me ask this one question with all the rumours flying around. Would the west ham fans prefer Carroll, Hooper and Maiga or Lukaku, Demba Ba and Wilfried Bony?

Carroll & Maiga both are awful, Hooper no EPL experience.

Lukaku & Ba both decent seasons and proven EPL quality, Bony no EPL experience.

To me, a no brainer! I'd take the second option all day

Deyno (Not a West Ham fan)

Definitely option 2 I'm conc
Earned by Carole's injury record so far 3in 6months do not want to sign another dyer!

14 Jun 2013 13:32:57
No way hooper and luckaku would b lethal

Carroll, Ba and Bony!

14 Jun 2013 10:28:40
West Brom are interested in pappiss cisse of newcastle

He wants to leave Newcastle so you never know

Can't see that

The same Cisse who is subject of a possible £25 million bid from Anzhi Makhachkala? I can't see Mr Peace going for that.

15 Jun 2013 01:59:29
He won't be valued at £25m plus no one is stupid enough to pay that, he had a storming start to life in the prem but last season didn't perform to expectations and apparently wants out. may join another prem club, doubt it would be Albion though

I read that they had offered £15 million but Newcastle are holding out for £25 million. Either way there is no way he is worth that much.

14 Jun 2013 10:26:14
Joan Verdu yesterday announced he will be leaving espanyol at the end of June. He also said he is in talks with a number of clubs and may decide where he is heading within the next few days.
I expect saints to be in for this bargain attacking midfielder.
Being made captain by Pochettino shows his rating of the player and also makes saints front runners for his signature if he chooses to come to the prem.
Don't be surprised if saints make an announcement regarding this player by the end of the week!

Hes rumoured to have agreed a move to olympiakos

14 Jun 2013 09:42:17
Yeovil Town are looking to sign Matthew Upson after he was released from stoke. They are looking to sign him as well as Fulham youngster Dan Burn on loan for another season

Dan burn yes but upson no why would they, they've got Webster and there are other cheaper players out there on the Market

Dan burn should return, as for upon I think you've plucked this from fresh air. We couldn't afford his wage demands. And GJ has said he won't be bringing big names in, just gambles who have stayed under the radar (quoted in the western news paper this week)

This will never happen due to wage demands

As a Yeovil fan; this will definitely not happen!
Would command wayyy too high wages and will surely want to be playing Prem football.

Upson was on £40,000 a week at Stoke city how are Yeovil going to pay or compete with other clubs to sign him

14 Jun 2013 18:19:12
Actually gj said there would be Gary's gambles! He said nothing of the kind that everyone would be a gamble! Anyway if he were to sign it would be of wages that would suit the club! I don't think it will happen but nothing is impossible

Upson won't come to Yeovil however I would of agreed with you we need a center back contracted to us. Yes Dan Burn will most likely return as stated in the official press, but we need two center halfs contracted to us instead of relying on a loaned center back and webster. Johnson will strengthen his side with contracted players first and perhaps several long term loans.

Im a Stoke fan and I am glad to see a small club like Yeovil doing so well so I would like to see them get Upson.

According to Guy Havord off of tv, 'Matt' Upson plays for us already!

Matt Upson was not on £40,000 per week at Stoke, that would've made him our top earner. We don't go above £30,000 on first team players nevermind a player purposefully brought in as backup

Matt upson is past it. he was an average defender at brighton last season

14 Jun 2013 09:33:36
Sunderland to sign zarate, Cavanda and Alfred Duncan who all play in sirie a, they will also sign jermain defoe and danny rose from spurs. Orban Will arrive from Argentina, and paulinho from liverno (who have just been promoted to serie a), leaving are sessegnon (Marseille), bardsley, cattermole (both going to hull), and Danny graham (Cardiff), also Connor Wickham is off to Crystal palace. ji dong won will be given the chance to impress his new boss, as Sunderland reject the opportunity to sell him to German side Augsburg

14 Jun 2013 13:29:41
Bardsley is not going to Hull; Curtis Davies and Figureora are, along with Elmohammady. No further defensive signings necessary with those 3. Cattermole could be coming, though given he spends more time banned than on the pitch I hope not

I hope Cardiff don't go in for Danny Graham! Already have better

Overall pretty good shout. I would prefer to see Abel Hernandez instead of paulinho in a Sunderland shirt. I reckon there is a chance that catts will leave. I would be surprised to see both orban and rose at safc next year. Is ji dong won good enough? I guess time will tell.

14 Jun 2013 09:05:00
Newcastle set to sign Yannick Djalo and Steve Mandanda to bolster their squad

14 Jun 2013 09:15:16
hearing that Stephen Ireland's agent has held preliminary talks with cardiff city representatives. Would be a good signing if they can get him playing to his potential.

Would be a great signing

14 Jun 2013 13:30:16
People have been saying that for the last 5 seasons

The trouble with Stephen Ireland is that since that one good season at Man City he has been on the verge of something good for the last five years.

I wouldn't be too happy with this signing. Ireland isn't the type of player we should go for. His style of play is soo different to the whole of our midfield. We pass the ball around the park whilst Ireland will shoot from 30 odd yards at every opportunity.

14 Jun 2013 08:47:55
Mathieu Manset is in talks with Oxford United

Hope not we need someone with more ability to score goals not kick the opposition

Who??

14 Jun 2013 08:38:31
Confirmed rumours that the announcement of TWO signings by Blackpool is imminent. Sources at the club say, Paul Ince has been working overtime to complete the deals to stop the unrest amongst fans, due to lack of signings.

14 Jun 2013 11:26:08
One is Neal Bishop from Notts County

You didn't say it was FACTAMUNDO.

Without a FACTAMUNDO. It's just a rumour

Yeah its true 2 new contracts signed next season we will be serving typhoo tea and seabrook crisps

The signing of Seabrooks could be a shrewd move, even if its from Yorkshire. Although the Typhoo signing seems a bit of a panic buy think we should have held out for Twinings.

Twinings demands where to great, he wanted his own cup and saucer and Karl was only willing to give him a plastic vending cup

Should have gone for Lytham Coffee

14 Jun 2013 08:35:40
Your right Dundee don't have any money. Dundee united don't have much either though!

14 Jun 2013 08:28:46
Sam Allardyce is making a very ambitious double swoop for Demba Ba and Romelu Lukaku from CHelsea. Josde Mourinho has said he wanted Lukaku to be part of his chelsea squad however, mourinho has made enquiries about Hulk, Cavani and Mario Gomes. He already has Torres on the books so if either Lukaku or DEmba Ba want playing time it may be as bit part substitutes a la Victor Moses

Ba will leave, Lukaku will stay and be part of squad rotation of strikers.

14 Jun 2013 07:52:26
Southampton boss Mauricio Pochettino is plotting an 8million move for Valencia midfielder Ever Banega.

Top player

I remember there being major hype around him when he was breaking through the ranks. Real Madrid, Arsenal, Manchester United all wanted him at the time

But in recent years he has been accused of coming into training drunk, not turning up to training and general reckless/ dis respectful behavior

Like him as a player but these things could be worrying for the club and seems against Cortese's philosophy.

Interesting never the less

Also have got interest in navas (gk) plays for levante don't see the point boruc and davis are good

Keepers davis WAS good not now
boruc is GOOD

14 Jun 2013 07:46:35
Huddersfield town
In Franck Moussa from Cov
Out Jimmy Spencer- Cov/Cheltenham/Crew all interested in loan

14 Jun 2013 12:46:41
Spencer would be great back on loan, as long as he has matured from last time!

Doubt Jimmy Spencer would go, not until we have at least got some strikers in.

As it stands, Spencer is the only recognised forward at Huddersfield!

Spencer on loan at Chelt again, don't think so!

Spencer will not be coming back to Chelteham. Nit unless he has improved dramatically.

I'm a Terriers fan and sadly Spencer isn't good enough for the Championship and by the sound of it not lots of enthusiasm for a loan to lower league clubs. He isn't going to get games with us next season, time to move on.

Get him fit again, and get rid. he`s hopeless, even Cheltenham fans think so, never going to get into a championship squad, as long as I've got a nose on my face!

Would happily have Spencer back at Chelt

You could have Spencer on a free in my opinion, he is absolutely garbage!

Any Cheltenham fan that wouldn't instantly take him back is mad, he was a great player for us in League Two

14 Jun 2013 07:26:49
Colombia's Macnelly Torres interesting Hull City. Fee thought to be in region of 2 million

14 Jun 2013 01:28:12
Stoke City looking at Gareth Barry and Wilfred Bony, Barry is expected to be surplus to requirements at Manchester City with them looking to reconstruct the team. Stoke will face competition from West Ham for Wilfred Bony if they fail to sign first choice targets Demba Ba and Andy Carroll,
Erik Pieters is also expected to be revealed as Hughes first signing with PSV believed to have accepted a £3million bid from the Potters

Barrys wages are to high for stoke crnt see this one happening. much better players out there for less money in his position.

And how will Stoke pay 150,000k a week wages for Barry and then afford to buy Bony.

Shrewsbury will sign Nathaniel Jarvis after his release from Cardiff.

We need an experienced striker or two or even three! not untried youngsters who are certainly unproven at league 1 level.

Doble was a failure with us, please let's set our sights a bit higher please!

Jarvis will do the job for you in league 1

As a Cardiff fan, Jarvis is a good player who can score some important goals. He would be a great signing for any team in League 1 or 2. Please don't tell me that we have a mid table team in League 1 saying they don't want a player who plays for a team that just stormed the championship.

The lad hasn't played ANY league matches for Cardiff and has just been released along with a multitude of other kids from Championship clubs.

IF Ryan Jarvis had played SOME league football then perhaps he would be worth considering. But that's the thing he has NO league experience. So what if he was on the youth books at Cardiff City, that counts for nothing in my books.

Shrewsbury are leading the chase for forward Ryan Noble, Portsmouth and Bury are also interested but Noble wants league 1 football.

Is there anyone at this level who isn't rumoured to be signing this player?!

Yes accrington Stanley aren't 😇

17 Jun 2013 15:46:12
He's got a point there

Bradford City are set to bid £160,000 for Hearts talisman Ryan Stevenson

I hope he's not driving down

Ryan Stevenson is likely to be sold by Hearts to ease their financial problems. Bradford are interested in making a bid for the attacking midfielder

Mansfield to sign Shaun Harrad from Bury, allowing the Nottingham based striker a move away from a club where he has experienced no success at all. The shakers will bid for Tom Bradshaw of Shrewsbury, although the only striker at Salop, needs a move to kickstart his career

Tom Won't be sold, he's our only striker and just signed a new contract

The Tom Bradshaw who has just signed a new contract with the Shrews?

Hes comin back burton

King Harrad can leave Gigg lane for me, he went to our club against his wishes and never wanted to be part of the set up there.

Oxford United heavily linked to striker Mathieu Manset.

Preston will keep hold of Iain Hume after intrest from Doncaster, Brentford and Sheffield Wednesday.
Stuckmann will sign a 2 year deal with the whites, even though there on the verge of getting Declan Rudd on a season long loan
Joel Bryom and Joe Garner will be added to the transfer list
Preston are also looking at Palace's young striker nimley for a loan deal or Adam Morgan from Liverpool
Come on you whites!

Nimley was on loan from Man City and not very good and injured 90% of the time

Nimley is not at Palace, we got him on loan from Manchester City

Nimley is not from Crystal Palace he's on loan from Man City at Crystal Palace.

Only played 2 games at Palace and was at best average.

Played 17 for Coventry & scored 1 goal and they let him go as well.

Doubt he's the 20+ striker PNE need but he will be cheap

Alex Nimely is not a Palace player, he was on loan last season from Man City.

14 Jun 2013 08:46:53
Nimley plays for Man City as was only on load to Palace + played less than 30 minutes and wasnt all that

See you have added 6 months to Stuckmann's contract.

Iain Hume is on too much money at Pne has 1 year left on his present deal his salary is way above the league 1 salary cap, he's being shipped out on loan mainly because of his 8k a week championship salary.
Garner won't go on the transfer list, I can see a loan from Liverpool though or Man United coming in.

Nimley is not a Palace player, is not particularly good and is not going to turn up at Deepdale in PNE colours

But Sir Alex hates PNE and vowed never to send a player on loan EVER.

Moyes never sent a player either. so I doubt we will be getting anyone from Man Utd.

Liverpool looks the more obvious source of the youngster joining on loan

14 Jun 2013 19:18:29
fergie as nothing to do with anything player wise at utd now its upto moyes who he sends out on loan and who to, the reason moyes never sent players on loan to preston was westley never asked him preston will get help from moyes if asked,

We had Iain turner on loan

It is very unlikely we will sell Hume because he won't take a wage cut. At best we will loan him out and still end up paying all but £3k of his wages. For the sake of saving £3k why not play him this season?

Face it, people are just guessing Hume's wages. You do not know he's being paid £8k a week just like the people who are saying he's on £6k or £10k don't know.

Alex Ferguson didn't vow not to send anyone on loan to PNE. Quit making things up.

Moyes didn't exactly have a big squad at Everton or maybe it was more a case of PNE not wanting any of Everton's players rather than Moyes not wanting to send players here.

So. WHO does nimley play for again?

Hume IS on 6K per week, fact.
No chance of him turning out for PNE again as they can't afford to pay his wages.

"£6k, fact" I take it he sends you his pay slip every week?

Why did Moyes send Seamus Coleman to Blackpool if he liked PNE that much?

Fergie vowed never to send any players to PNE when they sacked his son and he pulled all Utd loans from the club

It's common knowledge

Preston signed Turner and Gemmil on loan from Everton while Moyes was in charge there

Yes when they sacked Darren Ferguson Alex recalled his loans but he never said he'd never send anyone there again.

Maybe Preston didn't want Coleman. Or maybe he didn't want to go to Preston. You can't assume things as fact when you clearly don't know the ins and outs of the situation.

6k fact. How do I know?
MY SISTER WORKS FOR THE ROVERS.
As they say round here, stick that in your pipe and smoke it.

Rumours round Tynecastle is that former attacking midfielder Mehdi Taouil is to join English league one side Walsall on trial, following his release by hearts at the end of last season

A very reliable source, with close links to Celtic has informed me Saints have agreed a fee for Gary Hooper and now it's up to the player to decide if he want to move. His understanding is The deal will be done by Monday
