Sir Alex is looking to sign a young midfielder, a winger and a goalkeeper to replace Scholes Giggs and Van Der Sar respectively...
And United are currently looking at these players–– (only one from each dept could sign)
midfielder: Hamsik, Pjanic, Gourcuff, Costa, Diego...
winger: Sanchez, DZagoev(sp?), Silva, Salvio, Hazard....
Gk: Lloris, Neuer, Adlar, Muslera, Diego Lopez
Expect 3 from these 3 groups will arrive at United next year...

Arsenal Jauary transfer movement:
Last season's January was an exception when we signed Arshavin, expect the usual, small amount of transfer movement this January. Bordeaux will make one last attempt at keeping Marouane Chamakh before Christmas by offering the Moroccan a new deal worth double his current salary. However, Chamakh will reject this deal and wait until January when he is permitted to talk to other teams. He will sign a pre–contract agreement with Arsenal that will see him get his dream move to the Emirates the following summer on a free transfer when his contract with Bordeaux will have expired. Another shrewd bit of business from Mr Wenger. William Gallas will sign a new 2 and a half year deal with Arsenal before Christmas, as Wenger has been impressed by Gallas' impressive recent form, and as his current contract expires next summer, Gallas would be free to talk to other clubs in January. No money will be spent but two great players will be tied down at the Emirates.

Sir Alex Ferguson is mulling over a bid for South African and Mamelodi Sundowns striker Katlego Mphela. It is thought Fergie will bid around £2million pound in January.

In contrast to what every1 has been saying about the big 4 signing this person and that person, they will in fact sign no1 that will go straight into the first team.
Arsenal will continue with their policy of signing young african and frenchmen however the only one i've heard bout is togo midfielder Sapol Mani who plays for a libyan club (Al–Ittihad) who i think is 17/18 and who arsenals scouts rate highly.
Rangers News:
With the squad getting thinner by the week, Smith will try and convince the board to sign another defender either on loan or from the free transfer bin. The name that keeps cropping up is Steven Craigan of Motherwell on loan until the end of the season. As experienced International I would be delighted he signed. He knows the Scottish game inside out and would be perfect cover and cheap. A team full of Northern Irishmen is what Rangers need. Tuffy from Thistle and Healy when Boyd is sold in January.
Allen Ferguson
Chelsea will find a way out of the transfer ban by apeal and sign Ribery and Aguero in January. The Ronaldo tranfer money went to paying off Man utd's debts(over 400 mil) so they will not make any big signings but will sign Clement Grenier from Lyon and Ruben Rochina from Barcelona. Arsenal will sign Msacio from Vasco da Gama for a small fee. Liverpool wil attempt to sign David Silva but whether they have the funds remains to be seen so it will depend on if the takeover by Bernard Arnault(14th richest man in world). With regards to the Liverpool takeover Gillete will sell quite willingly while Hicks will put up more of a fight but in the end money will talk. Man City will not make any major signings unless Mark Hughs feels the team needs it. Adebayor will be banned for 2 matches after the events with Arsenal. Rumours are also circling that a takeover of Everton is taking place. I can for a fact confirm that and the consortium leader is none other than Ingvar Kamprad(4th richest man in the world).
