most rubbish ever.your only aloud 4 players on loan from the same club in a season, and Naughton has a season long at Leicester and so has Walker at QPR and there are permanents on both if those teams reach the PL. Austin will go to the Championship in the summer.

A contact of mine at Bramall Lane has said that although Sheffield United don't want to lose him they understand how he feels, and will not stand in his way.

New Sheffield United boss to be appointed soon - won't be Curbishley as he will not take a job outside of London & The South East. Gary Megson is the likely successor, but Chris Hughton is also on the wanted list as is Dave Jones, Chris Coleman, Paul Jewell and Glenn Roeder. Southampton want to bring in Huddersfield's Peter Clarke to help stiffen up their defense. Nigel Adkins has watched him play several times and thinks him and Jose Fonte could create a fantastic pairing at the back to help the club up the table.

However Huddersfiled are unwilling to sell and they have no need to, but with Southampton's financial muscle the bid put in by the club would be hard to reject.

Keith Treacy has fallen out with DF because he has been dropped for recent lack of form and fitness and has now fallen out and making it worse going out on his weeknight binges, turning up for training late.

Sean St.Ledger has recently been struggling for fitness with a knee injury and now doesn't look like hes getting his place back from the win against ipswich yesterday as they put in a 'performance of the season' steve claridge stated. st. ledger loves Preston but has said that if it is possibly a new doorway to a better career.

Richard Chaplow, Darren Carter, Eddie Nolan got sent out on loan and according to the managers have impressed (hard to beleive) but will hppily take the money for these players

Adam Barton is tipped to be the next big thing. hes been brought into the team and has worked his lanky socks off to get in the team and has grown a partnership with hard-man darel russell, he has impressed with his carmness and determination to get stuck in, hes hit a few goals aswell, unfortunatey this sends out messages to everyone saying 'look at me' which arsenal have grappled, they've spoke to preston and will be buying adam off Preston then loaning him back for the rest of the season also it is rumoured they have made a enquiry for Jay Emmanual-Thomas about coming on-loan. I'm not sure about this tho.

Callum Davidson, wants too go back to his native scotland and preston have connections with motherwell and have a agreed his destiation.

Leon Cort, has impressed since joining from the dingles and has said he is having his best time of is career, PNE want to sign him on a permanent basis to keep the 'premier league class' center halves together.

Micheal Tonge, has also stated a claim to be involved in the stoke squad but has stated he will never get in the stoke team and has spoke to pulis who has said he will sell him at the right price.

Jonathan Aspas & Seb Grax have both been brought in on trail from different countries, sebastien grax has previously played for Guingamp Saint-Ettiene ES Troyes AC. and is a pacy striker, meanwhile Jonathan Aspas has previously played for Celta Vigo Piacenza Calcio Mouscron. who later folded hense he is a free agent but he is a rock solid, pacy winger/ wing back.

Iain Hume, has been Prestons most exiciting player for a while the tenacious little machine has formed a partnership and has alredy been called a ledgend by the PNE faithful, he will sign for 4 years.

Nathan Ellington, who is currently playing for xanthi skoda on loan from watford, he is a exciting striker who DF has been very fond of for many a year and now have confronted watford about apturing his services.

Hakeem Adelakun, is a central midfielder who has recently been released by crystal palace ferguson is getting the 19 year-old in asap.

Jordan Stewart, formally of Sheffield United moved to xanthi skoda in 2009/ 2010 and has impressed and formed a partnership with nathan ellington who DF is also looking to bring in, Jordan has publically released his love for Preston and has indicated he wants to join.

Ritchie De Laet & Danny Pugh have 'loved' there time at preston and pne have requested for the to stay til the end of season and have stated there interest to come back.

Jermaine Johnson is wanted by many championship outfits but Preston have got him OFFICIALLY he has done a swap deal involving chris brown from north end which in my opinion is a great deal

Man U want and Man u get that is the norm and on this occasion they have the players that may appeal to Houllier in a player + cash deal, so it all depends on what value you put on other players. Houllier likes Owen and along with several other Man U players which Fergie would be happy to part with a deal would be struck. Common rumours are Anderson, Carrick (similar player to Barry) and Owen in an exchange deal. Spurs are also ready to do a deal with Crouch, Keane, Jenas all in the mix. Liverpool are in there and Houllier could be offered any of 3 of about 15 players to take his pick from. Chelsea and Arsenal are both rumoured to be sniffing the air about Young and they also can offer players, cash or both. And if Man city decide to buy another Villa player then £20m is chicken feed. Houllier quoted £80m and that is silly, but if one of the big spenders want to close a deal quickly then £20m is not enough. Milner went for an amount which meant that Villa could not refuse and a similar amount will have to be placed on the table. What ever happens Kevin Davis could be on his way to Villa park as Carew will be departing to pastures new.
