Football Rumours Archive June 11 2009

Use our rumours form to send us football transfer rumours.

1. This is it folks, the BIG Liverpool news (I'll only say the big stuff, there will be loads of littler transfers loans etc as well and one surprise back room sacking). First off,

2. Transfers Out:–
Mascherano, Barcelona, 40M Euros
Alonso, Real Madrid, 28M Euros
Babel, Arsenal, 10M Pounds
Plus lesser 'usual suspect' players sold or loaned. Big clear out in the reserves. Brouwer likely to go back to Holland, possibly Amsterdam. Some players already on loan loaned to bigger teams in higher leagues (including Scottish Prem and europe) to get them 'battle–hardened'

3. Transfers In:–
Aguerro, 50M Euros
Mata or Silva, 26M Euros
Martinez 15M Euros
Plus fringe players
Plus players promoted to sqaud or lifted in squad to first choice. Again usual suspects – Darby, Insua, Spearing, Nemeth, Pacheco.

4. Other News:–
Liverpool was sold last week. Not sure whether totally or partially but it's being kept under wraps until the transfers are done so that the prices don't 'inflate'.

5. Not asking you to believe me, just keep this bit and tick it off as it happens.
Barnsley FC boss Simon Davey has promised results for the upcoming season, and owner Patrick Cryne has given him a massive total of £4million pounds to spend, plus any money he makes from outgoing players. Here are some of the players the Reds have been watching recently:

Dave Nugent (loan)
Adam Hammill (loan)
Zheng Zhi (free)
Danny Welbeck (loan)
Rickie Lambert (750k)
Jermaine Beckford (1.5mill)
Michael Duberry (free)
Akpo Sodje (500k)

Nugent and Hammill are done deals. Zhi wants a bumper wage packet, as does Beckford. Duberry wants a bigger club and Sodje is also asking for a huge wage packet. The other loans are done too. Also, expect a 300k offer for Martyn Woolford to be made any day now, to replace JCR who has almost agreed personal terms with Middlesbrough.

Remember, I'm The Man In The Know
  To the Liverpool Taxi Driver:–

You must be an Everton fan to say that! I too have Taxi'ed Rafa and must say nice guy really is, tipped me and was talking all the way!
Im really pleased about this news my friend has just give me.
He works as a driver for a executive car hire company who have been hired in the past by mcfc to bring players from mcr airport to the club for medicals and other things. He has just told me that saturday 13th june he has been instructed by hes employer to go and pick up a Mr Jacobson and 1 other passenger and bring them to mcfc.
I can only guess that this other passenger will be TEVEZ!!!!!
Hope so sparky sign him up sparky, sparky sign him up
I work at Doncaster Rovers and Chairman John Ryan is pushing to get the club into the Premier League via the Playoffs next season and has given Sean O'Driscoll £3,000,000 to spend on players to push us there but he keeps his cards close to his chest and i will say what only names i have heard.

First off, Mills, Stock and Wellens have agreed to stay another season with the promise that if they attract next summer and Rovers aren't in the Playoffs and have not got promoted, they can leave if a suitable offer comes in.

Players looking at and rumoured prices:
Coming In

Jermain Beckford – £2million – Leeds – ST

I don't know how much weight you wish to give this but there are strong rumours coming from Goodison Park that Brazilian Ronaldo is being lined up for a loan move. He's apparently wanting to try the Premiership and if Everton can agree a pay as you play deal they'd be very happy to take him for a season.
Believe me, this is how Sunderland will line up next year.
Playing a back four, one defensive midfielder. three attacking midfielders and two strikers.
Reserves in brackets

1) GK Craig Gordon.(Trevor Carson)

2) RB Wes Brown.(Phil Bardsley)
3) CB Anton Ferdinand.(Danny Collins)
4) CB Titus Bramble.(Danny Collins again)
5) LB Radavan Rat.(George McArtney)

6) DM Stephane M'Bia (Teemu Tanio)

7) RM Jermainne Penant(Steed Malbranque)
8) CM Keiron Richardson (Andy Reid)
9) LM Stuart Downing.(Not sure who will fill in until he's fit.(and then act as understudy)
10) ST Darren Bent(Jermainne Beckford)
11) ST Kenwynne Jones(Martyn Waghorn)

The following players will be kept on to develop further:
Jean Y'ves Mvoto, Grant Leadbitter, Hartley, Liddle, Kay, Meyler and Henderson. Possibly another one or two youngsters.

Apart from those already released, Sunderland will look to offload the following.Halford, Nosworthy, Anderson, McShane, Riera, Whitehead, O Donovan,Murphy, Healy and Stokes.

Total outlay on new players approx £45M
Recouped on sales hopefully about £13M

Many of these deals are already under discussion.
All the best SOL
Posts on the Nottingham Evening Post website suggest that Billy Davies is about to be sacked by Forest supremo Nigel Doughty due to a behind the scenes bust up over the transfer kitty at the club.
Terry Butcher has been mooted as a possible replacement for the volatile Davies.
To the person who said Chopra will sign for Hull City, that is rubbish cause he is going to Cardiff for 4.5 mil, fee already agreed and he has already agreed contract with Cardiff,

SUNDERLAND finally going to get rid of the rubbish expect to see the back of;
Stokes
Healy
Murphy
Chopra (definitely)
Edwards
Whitehead
Colgan
Mcshane
Halford
Anderson
Odonovan

Target signing's
Bent
Downing
Bassong

WILL be an exciting summer, Red And White Army!
A little fact for those that don't follow Spanish football however claim to know where its players are going: Aguero, Villa and Silva have all stated recently that they do not wish to leave Spain. So neither would be joining Liverpool or Man City unless that changes. Higuain would not be sold or exchanged as he is only 21 and have had a great season with over 20 goals.

Aguero – IF he leaves A.Madrid, prefers to join Barca because his best friend, Messi is there. As Barca could pay the buy–out clause of 55m or negotiate it to 40m, they would sign him ahead of Ribery who Bayern feels he is worth around 60m.

Villa and Silva both like it at Valencia, however Villa may be tempted by Real Madrid as they have got Kaka, and would be bringing in C. Ronaldo.

BARCA: Have many good youths there or coming through: Bojan, Pedro, Assulin, Alcantara and Jeffren, Xavi Torres etc. so they would only spend BIG if Eto'o, Yaya and Henry go (which is likely [E] contract conflicts [Y] Barca not paying him the pay raise that was promised and earned [H] age). Don't expect Ibrahimovic to go to Barca, as Inter values him at 70m, therefore they look for cheaper options within the league or Benzema, if price is right (however, he prefers Madrid. .what a shame [sarcasm]).
Barca, may also renew interst of the Brazilian Hernanes, back up Iniesta no mattter whether Hleb leaves. It is except that his signing was a mistake.
Two points that really irritate me reading these rumours: 1. if your gonna post a transfer rumour about player(s) you should at least know how to spell the name. how are we to give any credibility to someone who claims to know players fates when they can't mannage the name.

2. Not every player who is possibly on the move this summer can end up in Madrid or Manchester City kits. If you read through the posts every big name is going to one or the other

If Ronaldo goes Silva may have to be the choice in as Ribery does not want to play in england because the weather sucks.

Eto'o will not be moving to City. Edin Dzeko has stated he wants to play in england most where is uncertain.

NUR DER HSV!!! Macht des Nordens
I am Gary johnsons cousin just to let all bristol city fans know that Jason Scotland has signed a 3 yr contract with the club starting july 1st for 2.25 mill + Lee Trundle on a season loan
Can people please check their facts before posting, I always read someones rumors and find something incorrect in them which leads me to believe they are nonsense.

What makes it even worse is when someone trys to correct someone else with incorrect information, it is pointless so please stop trying to be smart, see below:

"Pointing something out to you dozy LFC fans–
Antonio Barragán Fernández to Liverpool £4m as we have a buy back clause.
I could be wrong when I say this but – We sold him to Deportivo for about £750,000 with a £2m buy back clause.
Barragán went to Seville jan 09, HOW DO WE STILL HAVE A BUY BACK CLAUSE IN A DEAL DONE BETWEEN DEPORTIVO AND SEVILLE"

He signed for Valladolid not Sevilla after he was released by Deportivo due to having a bit of an injury nightmare with them.

I don't remember the exact details but his buyback clause with Liverpool was extremely complicated and the price varied on the time frame in which Liverpool wanted to buy him back. However I believe its around 2m until 2008 after then Liverpool would have to wait until 2011 to buy him back for a set fee which I think would be around 4m.

Anyhow the clause will no longer exist and neither does Liverpools desire to sign him.

Soooo anyway some actual rumors but nothing surprising:

Tevez to City, Rooney wants to go back up front next season, Tevez doesn't want to be his backup but wants to keep his family in the area. Also money is a deciding factor for Carlos and his owners.

Ancelotti wants Chelsea to break the british transfer record for Aguero supposedly they are going to offer over £45m. He has a buyout clause of just over £51m, if Athletico dig their heels in I think Roman will splash the extra few million. Carlo has also expressed interest in Villa but so have Madrid, be interesting to see where he ends up.

Also Rafa has no interest in Lavezzi, his agent is just stirring. In fact a lot of players linked with Liverpool are of not interest, its all talk designed to facilitate a move or improved contract. .

MC
  ((( AFC Bulletin )))

AFC gk Fabianski may move 2 PSG , if he leaves WHUFC Robert Green will probaly replace him. Eden Hazard 2 move 2 either AFC or Real Madrid if he leaves Lillie, as he himself has said so . Diaby might move 2 INTER or Chelsea , his agent has said so, Wilshire or Landsbury will probaly replace him. Possable player swap deal with Adebayor moving 2 AC Milan whilst AC Milan striker Pato moves the other way 2 AFC as Pato has said he intends 2 leave AC Mlian .
With Kaka officially a Madrid player, Perez will most probably sign David Villa for 34 million + Negredo. Silva and Albiol may also bacome the subject of large cash + player deals. Ribery and Ronaldo are also in Perez's sights, Van Der Vaart and Robben/Snejder may become part of the deal as new coach Van Gaal is a big fan of all 3. Cristaino Ronaldo is more complicated as Ronaldo wants 2 move however Man Utd are angry that Madrid have made their interest public and will demand upwards of 75 million pounds.

Barcelona are set for a busy summer with Zlatan Ibrahimovic their main target. They are willing to offer Inter Eto'o and Yaya Toure 4 Ibra and left–back Maxwell. This could well b accepted as Patrick Viera is set 2 join Lyon and Inter will need a replacement. Inter's interest in Eto'o goes back some years and since Ibra has been speaking out about Inter's lack of success in the CL he mayb on his way along with Maxwell who has fallen behind the new Paolo Maldini–Davide Santon. Barcelona's other target is Mascherano who is hugely admired by Guardiola and is willing 2 offer 25 million pounds which could b enough as Liverpool have a tailor–made replacement in Javi Martinez.

Xabi Alonso will not leave Liverpool, and Real Madrid have publicly admitted defeat as they have Gago,L.Diarra and M.Diarra while promising midfielder De La Red may b forced 2 retire due 2 a heart defect. Higuain, Ramos,L.Diarra,Gago,Pepe,Casillas and Raul are all untouchables and will form a part of the new Galacticos.

Arsenal have almost wrapped up a deal 4 Ajax's Thomas Vermalen at around 10 million pounds. Thay will try 2 recruit Hangeland from Fulham who are reluctant 2 let go for anything less than 15 million due 2 their upcoming Europa League campaign. Sahko was being heavily scrutinized by Steve Rowley with a view 2 a player exchange with Gallas. Matudi and Dabo of St Etiene have long been tracked by Arsenal and due 2 Wenger's close friendship with Comolli and 16 million will b enough 2 recruit the pair (especially if Eboue leaves). Veloso is looking 4 a move 2 England and Wenger will decide between Veloso and Matudi.

AC Milan, despite the cash windfall will not spend an exorbitant amount on a player 2 replace Kaka due to debt they have accumalated. Adebayor and Dzeko are the 2 strkers they are monitoring while if Pirlo is the subject of a 25–30 million euro bid they will sell and swoop for Felipe Melo.

  To the person who said

I'm a taxi driver in Liverpool. I recently had the misfortune of ferrying Rafa Benitez to Anfield from his home on the Wirral, and then back again. I've no transfer rumour to report, or inside knowledge of Liverpool football club, mainly because he sat in silence for the whole of the soddin' journey. But I do have football gossip: I can tell you that Benitez is the tightest bloke you'll ever meet. He quibbled over the fare, despite there being a meter in the cab, sulked because I wouldn't reduce it, and gave me zero tip! Never again will he ride with me. The only other football person I've driven in the city is Leon Osman of Everton. Osman tips, speaks up for himself and acts like you're not something nasty that he just found on the underside of his shoe. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . rafa doesn't get a taxi he is driven in a black car i see him in the mersey tunnel occasionally
With money tight at Anfield expect some wheeling and dealing to be going on. Rafa will go after Owen on a free but only if he accepts a £50,000 pw wage. Adam Johnson will be taken on a years loan from Middlesborough and Matthew Bates will sign for a small fee to cover right back. Not sure if that's enough to topple United or Chelsea!
City are going to boost Rafa Benitezs transfer fund by bidding near £15 million for Daniel Agger. They will also offer Elano in a straight swap for Benayoun.
  GALATICOES RETURN

A very busy is in store for R madrid, Man utd and Chelsea. Bidding wars between the three clubs will dominate the back pages this summer.

Following the purchase of Kaka Rwal Madrid will look to Xabi Alonso as a defensive midfielder.

Everybody knows that then there main target is Christiano Ronaldo. However Ferguson will not let him go, he will persuade Ronaldo to stay as it will be Fergies last year in management.

Always looking to the future as Fergie is he will sign Antonio Valencia as cover for the next manager at Old trafford when Ronaldo will finnaly leave.

Real Madrid will not be signing Ronaldo this season so instead they will sign Frank Ribery for 35m.

They will then complete their summer transfer swoop with the signing of David Villa for a unknown fee (most probably in the region of 30–40m)

Where do Chelsea fit in you ask? Well since failing to sign Kaka they have instead turned their attention too Sergio Aguerro.

Should be a really exciting transfer window with money being splashed around as if there wasnt even a credit crunch.

You heard it here first – THE BELDOG
  Avfc news

mon's buy british policy will take a back seat this summer as uncle randy has taken a liking to the arsenal way of things and wants keep the wage bill pragmatic.
not sure how true this one is but funds have been made available to try and bring in eden hazard from lille although he is well reguarded and a more likely destination is barcelona.
don't however expect a like for like replacement for barry. o'neil is likely to move milner into the centre and prospective purchase david bently will replace him on the right. however if he fails to get db he may turn attention away from midfeild and allow gardner, sidwell and nrc to fight for the vacant position.
as far as the centre back conundrum is concerned the scouts have been all over scandanvia the last few weeks looking for fresh young talent as back up for davis and cuellar and quite possibly lucas neil.

IN

Zhirkov – 18m – he has apparently mentioned Barca as a preffered option but due to hiddink's influence and ancelotti reassuring him of first team football he should join this summer.

Aguero – 45m – no idea how Liverpool fans think theyre getting him for 30m, but an offer has been made and atletico would be stupid to say no.

Alexandre Pato – 38m – AC can say that hes going to stay all they want but 'the duck' wants to join up with ancelotti at stamford bridge.

I don't think villa will be joining, nor johnson but i'd like to be mistaken.

Peace out
  MUFC NEWS!
Ronaldo will go 2 Real, the fee will be around 40–50mill + Huntelaar.

A quality RB will onli be signed if Nev decides 2 call it a day, as we already have Brown + Rafael.
Hargreaves is crocked so expect bid 4 sum1 like Veloso n Hargreaves 2 be sold in January.
Tevez will stay as Ronaldo is goin!
Berba will not go anywhere as SAF will no allow a loss 2 be made that quick, he wud onli go if sum1 like City offered silly money 4 him.
A deal will however be struck 4 Benzema 2 join us after the World Cup.
Douglas Costa + Juninho 2 sign b4 July.
manucho campbell gibson out!
wellbeck kiko Possebon fabio kuszack loan!
Ronaldo will be going to Real as most of you know. The hold up is a decision on Benzema. If he comes to OT then the deal with MAdrid will be Sergio Ramos and cash. If he doesn't then the deal will involve a swap for Ramos and Huntelaar. Valencia will be the only other purchase over the summer for the wing.

––––––––––––––

I realised I have given slightly wrong information Harry is in Ecuador at the moment after watching the game vs Argentina. There are several players that he could be looking at which are meant to be Gago, M.Rodriguez and Heinze. He may also be looking at a few Ecuador players. Also it appears that the Turkish agent being spoken to could possibly not be Tuncay it could be Arda Turan instead. Harry is still trying to decide whether to move Modric to the middle and buy a left winger.

Who I expect out:

Bent
Chimbonda
Zokora
Gunter (Loan)
Alnwick

I'm not too sure about who are definite ins and there are also some possible outs. I'll post when I here more. COYS

Alex O
  MAN UTD :

1) They will lose Cristiano Ronaldo to Real Madrid for reported £87.5m release clause.
2) They will lose Carlos Tevez to Manchester City as City's financial power and the fact that Tevez doesn't like United for misusing him.
3) Real Madrid will sign Franck Ribery, another one of Fergie's targets.
4) However, because of Real Madrid's vast spending power, they do not consider Luis Antonio Valencia to be good enough so United will buy him to replace Ronaldo for around £20m.

jazzychris :)
Bristol City will up their offer for Mark Yeates from Colchester to £400,00. City also interested in Lee Martin from Man Utd, Sam Sodje, Kevin Phillips and Marcus Bent.

Matuidi to Arsenal is pretty much signed and sealed now. Will be announced 22 June if all goes as planned. 8.5m Euros.

Liverpool are facing having to sell to buy big, and so are contemplating moves for Dean Ashton from West Ham as a cheaper 'in the hole' option, as well as a bid for Christian Noboa. You may not have heard of this guy but he is seen as a quality cheaper option to bolster the midfield. Kyle Naughton from Sheff Utd is a right back possibility.
However, if Liverpool sell Alonso/Mascherano or even both, then all this will change, as the club will have at least £45m to spend.

Finally, look out for André–Pierre Gignac arriving in the premier league this summer. He has been definitely scouted by Arsenal, Aston Villa, Liverpool and Man City (my contact spoke to the guy who provided tickets for their scouts at Toulouse) while Everton and Bolton are said to have enquired as well. He is a quality striker, and whoever gets him will be one lucky team!

  West Ham

There are strong rumours here in Italy that West Ham have been in talks with my team Inter to take 2 players on loan.

Ballotelli and Jimenez

West Ham do not have the funds to make these signings permanant, but they are hoping to obtain extra investment within the season.
To the person who posted the rumour about Man City getting past it stars such as Cannavaro to be forced out the Madrid Revolution, HE SIGNED FOR JUVENTUS ABOUT 3 MONTHS AGO! Heard a rumour that Joseba Llorente of Villarreal is a target for Spurs and Sir Alex is once again interested in Marcos Senna from a source in Spain
First time poster, dunno if it will even make it but hey!
Firstly to all rangers fans. . YOU WILL NOT SIGN RINO GATTUSO, ALAN HUTTON, CRAIG GORDON, CARLOS CUELLER or anyone else of this standard!!!
Sorry, but its true Rangers are in a financial mess regardless of the fact they won the league. Also you will not sign Bruno Aguiar he is away to Omonia Nicosia along with Georgios Efrem of the Gers.

Anyway on to some real rumours. .
Heard through the grape vine & various sources (not SAFs dogs) Pato to switch to Chelsea with Ade going the other way from Arsenal. Also Man City to sign Javi Martinez (Almost a done deal) to partner Barry in the midfield. They will also BID for any half decent player on the planet, but will only get the likes of lescott and possibly past it stars such as cannavaro (likely to be forced out in Madrid revolution). . to be replaced by vidic ???

Hi folks. This is now the 3rd transfer window i have commented on. And once again i will post the same rumour. Babel to Arsenal. (i also brought Berbatov to Man utd. Only one year to early.) Dont know why i keep getting drawn to this one. but im positive it will happen. Also, Miguel Veloso, Why has he never been mentioned with a move to Arsenal? Just a guess (like Babel) but im positive it will happen.
Remember, Heard it here first.

Scunthorpe will not sell anyone this summer, just one loan exit, and sign only five players as they venture into the Championship. Young Striker Matthew Godden will be used very often, as Adkins rates him extremely highly, and says that he will play for England one day. Scunthorpe will sign two CB's, a CM, a winger, and a striker, as well as numerous loan signings.

In.
Tamika Mkandawire (Leyton Orient)
Michael Nelson (Hartlepool)

Jay–Emmanuel Thomas (Arsenal)
Patrick van Aarholt (Chelsea)
Miroslav Stoch (Chelsea)
Liam Trotter (Ipswich – If he signs a new contract)

These are all 60–70% complete, with Scunthorpe becoming a feeder club for Arsenal and Chelsea after nurturing Jack Cork and Henri Lansbury.
Exciting times at Glanford Park.

Also in the Championship, Bristol City will sign Grant Holt (Shrewsbury), Crystal Palace will sign Bradley Johnson (Leeds) and Newcastle will sign Jermaine Beckford (Leeds) and Rickie Lambert (Bristol Rovers).

There's a lot of activity centred around Everton, who are determined not to repeat last year's mistakes of summer inactivity.

Out: Lescott will be off to Man City, as long as they offer anything in excess of £20M. They tried to offer £10M & Jo, but Moyes turned them down flat. Lescott isn't really keen to leave but he will double his wages if he joins Sparky. Arsenal were keen on him but couldn't match City's financial muscle.
Harry Redknapp is keen on re–signing Yakubu, and is willing to pay £13M plus Bentley. That deal is dependent on Yakubu proving his fitness before the season starts.

If these deals go through, Moyes will sign Dean Ashton from West Ham – he's considered less of a risk than Michael Owen, and his wages will be about a third of what Owen wanted. Moyes is also close to signing a centre–back, though I'm not sure who he is. Everton will also sign two internationals who haven't yet played in the Premiership. Everton are also close to tying up a loan deal for a keeper as cover for Howard.
  MANCHESTER UNITED NEWS
1) Ronaldo will sign a new deal with united and stay with the club for many years.
2) Roma haven't qualified for the champions league, so as a result of this United will sign De rossi. As we need a defensive midfielder.
3) Tevez will sign a new deal.
4) Dodo, Douglas costa, Valencia will also be signed.
5) Gibson, Campbell are the only players leaving.
6) Rooney will be used as a supporting striker rather than a winger
7) Giggs, Scholes, Neville and Van der Sar will retire either on January or Next Summer
Birmingham have submitted an improved offer for Cardiff's Roger Johnson. As the BBC reported, Cardiff turned down their first offer of up to £2.5m.

Birmingham's new offer is apparently worth up to £6.5m:

£1m up–front
£1.5m paid over 4 years
£1.75m dependent on appearances (paid if Johnson plays more than 100 games over 2 years)
£2.25m if Birmingham stay in the Premiership by more than a 20 goal points difference

This coming from someone working at the Vale of Glamorgan, Cardiff's training ground and official offices.
Scott Duxbury has announced on SSN, that West Ham will be signing 3 players. These will be ambitious signings: Balotelli (on loan with a view to sign permanently), Luis Jimenez (loan), and Giuseppe Rossi, who recently stated he has an option to play in England. COYI!!!
I was the guy who told you in January,Big Yogi was going to Hibs.
I also said McGhee was going to Aberdeen(well nearly done).

Now listen people,

Celtic if,I repeat if they fork out £2million for Mowbray,

outs;

Boruc – £3/4million – Hannover
Scott Brown – £5million – Sunderland
McGeady – £3/4million
Mcmanus – £500/750k – Boro
Naylor – £250/300k – Sheffield Utd/Wed

Lawwell knows with hardly a chance of qualifying for the CL group stage(£10mill)and to keep the shareholders happy, they have to sell the above, and pay the compensation for Mowbray, hard times indeed for Celtic, changed times.
To the guy saying Leeds were replacing Beckford with Hoskins and Webber, you clearly know what you are talking about. You have the correct clubs, in Sheffield Utd and Watford, but I'm hearing the two players are Sharp and Ellington. Any other Beckford–replacment rumours floating about?
To the guy criticising me, I also spelt Geeovani's first name wrong, you missed that. So I got some names wrong, doesn't mean the transfers won't happen :s I'm tired! I have better things to do than check names, I simply figured people on here were intelligent enough to absorb the information on the table and not check for mistakes! Anyway, which Ambrosini are you thinking of, I'm certain there's a Fabio?

Macherano is to go 2 barcelona, coming the other way will be samuel eto'o the void left my marsh will be filled by the shortlist of cambiasso, senna or the return of sissoko.

The other alternative is that if Alonso calls time on his Anfield days and Mascherano also leaves the lpool will look to include sneider and higuin in the deal + £10m to madrid. the last bit of dealing will 2 sign Silva. this is why Benitez has just claimed to the press that we only gna sign 2 players.

OUTS= Masherano, Alonso

INS= Eto'o, Sneider, Higuin, Silva

Total Spent near enough 30m

the last bit of dealing will include to sell squad players such as Babel, Dossena, and the others will documentated. this will recoup 15m

making the summer spending to 15m then johnson 2 cum in for 9–10m not the 17m quoted in the press. this will take the summer spending to 25m which was the budget. Does this make the squad better we will see.
  Liverpool will try and sign:

Main players:

Board will supply extra funds but zola has to make most of the money through selling players. players above will be sold and cheaper young players will be bought in. players bought in are exactly what west ham need. there is also a possibility that Kovac will re–sign if they let him go cheaper.

Although I didn't expect too many players come in and going out it seems Harry Redknapp is looking for a big buisness of transfers. He is currently in Spain and then next week he is heading to Ecuador. The reason he is in Spain is to negotiate with players apparently. The players that have been mentioned are Maxi Rodriguez and van Nistelrooy although according to someone at the club van Nistelrooy hasn't been spoke to yet. Also a few contacts in the club have heard we're in talks with a turkish agent in England. I'd assume this is Tuncay.

It's going to be an interesting summer. COYS

G.Hooper – £250K (Southend)
S.Whaley – £700K (Preston)

The four main targets are:

S.Whaley
A.Sibierski
F.Richardson
C.Bassila

Expect a mass exodus of players aswell with Newcastle paying half of the wages still as part of the contracts.

Example – O.Martins wage is £75Kpw but the buying club will only give him £40Kpw so newcastle will pay the remaining to get him away.

Newcastle need to bget back into the Premier League ASAP or they are going to be in massive trouble financially.
Rangers are definitly not signing r anderson on a free. . he's pants! and driver for 1.5 million? Hearts will hold out for at least 2 million as he's wanted in england!

Rangers outs will be. . mcculloch, beasley, adam, velicka, steven smith and maybe ferguson. hemdani, dailly and aaron are already away.
  Man Utd News:

joining this summer will be Luis Antonio Valencia with Darron Gibson going the other way as Martinez is a big fan. also Bastian Schweinsteiger will be joining with Park Ji Sung going the other way as sir alex wasn't impressed with how in effective he was against Barca's midfield. then theres Yohann Pele from Le Mans on a free, Walter Da Silva from Internacional and of course Dodo from Corintians.

Leaving will be Campbell to Hull, Gibson to Wigan, Park Ji Sung to Bayern Munich, Manucho, Kuszcack and Tevez.

Ronaldo will play up front as a sriker more(this is whats convinced him to stay). the line up next year will be 4–3–3 with Berbatov Rooney and Ronlado as the front three with Schweinsteiger Carrick and Anderson as the tree in midfield and a defence of Brown Ferdinand Vidic and Evra with the goalkeeper position being changed around between Van Der Sar Foster and Pele.

  Lfc transfer rumours.
Rafa has already said dat he will break liverpool's transfer record but not 2 sure who it is but most likely to be a striker. . hopefully someone like Aguero or Tevez. .
The David Silva deal is lookin more and more likely every day as Madrid have already signed Kaka and their president has said he wants Ronaldo,David Villa and possibly Ribery or Ibrahimovic. . Glen Johnson looks to be on his way to Chelsea or City,we don't have the money to compete with them so we are looking at Rafinha.Rafa was interested in him last year but was priced out of a move. . That's about it coming in apart from a few fringe players.
I work in the Corporate Finance department of a "Top–4" accountancy firm in the city. Due to the nature of my role, I am often privee to some rather sensitive information regarding commercial acquisitions. I have recently been made aware of two very high–profile Premier league takeovers, one that has been expected for quite some time, but the other is a complete shock (hence the need to share this info!!)
You will not be surprised to hear the expected takeover relates to Liverpool FC. KFL (Kop Football Ltd) is no longer the owner of the club, it is now in the hands of Dubai International Capital (DIC). This deal is completed, but will not be announced until the manager has secured most of his high–profile targets (no idea who, sorry). I cannot say what effect this will have on the club, but I can confirm DIC are not short of funds.

Now, onto the shock takeover. The club in question is shockingly Manchester United! The club have done a fantastic job in shielding their financial situation from the media, but the Glazers got into a position where they were unable to service the clubs huge debt. The identity of the group acquiring the club is unknown to me, but I have heard this will not be an Abramovic/Abu Dhabi/DIC type arrangement. The club is being acquired to genrate profits for the new owners. Expect news on this to break in July.

Guy from the city. .
To all those who believe RVP will leave AFC ––– not going to happen he is settled in ldn, wife, kid school etc –– AFC and RVP just need to sort the monies out and this well be achieved.
As for Adebayor he and the club are actively looking for a move away from the emirates. .

Not A Rumour, just some well needed support for the LFC corner:
The press are yet again hyping up and dramatising LFC's financial situation. The fact is we have the SMALLEST club debt out of the top 4 in EPL.(Eg Chelsea owe all Romans money input back which is 100's of millions but make re–paymemnts through high club revenue) But our owners have the largest PERSONAL debts which will affect LFC but only very mildly.
In April 2008, business magazine Forbes ranked LFC as the 4TH most valuable football team in the world, after Manchester United, Real Madrid and Arsenal, valuing the club at £605m, excluding debt. Accountants Deloitte rate Liverpool 8TH in the 2008 Deloitte Football Money League, which ranks the world's football clubs in terms of revenue. Liverpool's income of £133.9m in the 2006–07 season moved them up from 10TH the previous season. The club makes more than enough profits to keep well afloat and compete for major competitions just look at our signings (current and new players) since the American takeover with club money NOT owner free beebies.
The FACT is they bought our club and its outstanding debts at £218.9 million. with 100% borrowed money to make money by building a stadium and selling us on. Which was a massive mistake by Moores and his board.

Basically put,RAFA is a savvy manager(eg Valencia time) and is getting better in the market every year, we HAVE a FANTASTIC squad and only need to strengthen in 2–3 areas (RB, WING & 2nd Striker) to win major comps again, RAFA is very detailed and particular and he loves Versatliity and passion which is hard to find. We are NOT in a financial crisis, we just have a tumour in the form of 2 yanks trying to grow from us BUT a sale is looking very imminent.
Be patient Koppites, we know how Rafa feels about the yanks and still signed so watch this space. .

Drezperado
Burnley are looking to bring in Brittish player, or already established Scandanevian players. Coyle will be looking to get in some more Scottish players. Here are the ones who are interesting him. Obviously he will not be able to bring in all of these players, but he will look at each one:

Lee McCulloch from Rangers – £1 Million
Gary Caldwell from Celtic – £2 Million ( He will be persuaded to come to Burnley to link up with his brother Steven )
Steven Whittaker from Rangers – £2 Million
Barry Ferguson from Rangers – £4 Million
James Morrison from West Brom – £2 Million
Steven Fletcher from Hibs – £1.8 Million
Ross McCormac from Cardiff – £2 Million

Here are some of the Scandinavian footballers he is interested in:

Lars Jacobsen from Everton – Free
Hermann Hreiđarsson from Portsmouth – Free
Aron Gunnarsson from Coventry – £1 Million
Teemu Tainio from Sunderland – £2 Million

And here are some of the young up and coming English footballers he is interested in:

Oliver Norwood from Manchester United – Loan ( He was born and bread in Burnley and would welcome a loan spell there )
Jose Bexter from Everton – Loan
Lee Hills from Crystal Palace – £250,000
Danny Welbeck from Manchester United – Loan
Victor Moses from Crystal Palace – £1 Million
Nathan Delfouneso from Aston Villa – Loan
Federico Macheda from Manchester United – Loan

All of these players are the ones who are interesting Owen Coyle, and it has already been said that Burnley will be looking to bring in 7 or 8 players, so obviously, not all of these players will be able to be brought in.
Pointing something out to you dozy LFC fans–

Antonio Barragán Fernández to Liverpool £4m as we have a buy back clause.

I could be wrong when I say this but – We sold him to Deportivo for about £750,000 with a £2m buy back clause.

Barragán went to Seville jan 09, HOW DO WE STILL HAVE A BUY BACK CLAUSE IN A DEAL DONE BETWEEN DEPORTIVO AND SEVILLE.

No rumors, but realistic wish list:
I think we are a little light in the pocket, however I still beleive we have enough funds to bring in a couple suprise names.

–– Kun (p/e)
–– Javier Martinez
–– Robben/Wesley S/Higuian(?), part of alonso exchange
–– Ruud Van Man – Scummy manc but cheap!
–– G Johnson/Santon

How about this – a deal consisting of Ruud Van Man, Gabby Heinez and Wesley S plus £5m for Alonso. lol

Maybe hopeful but we only need a few more names for number 19!

Young Lad Spotted at murray park when a few questions asked it was revealed he was a barcelona athletic player who is in talks over a loan deal for a year from barcelona to rangers he was called Rubén Rayos Serna he a forward 23 yrs old
To the person who wrote. .

"Liverpool will also try and negotiate a deal for Javi Martinez for £10mil. This deal is complicated. Bilbao are almost certain to lose Fernando Llorente this summer to a big team and are keen to bolster their forward line. However, it does not seem this transfer will go through until the end of the transfer window as teams try to negotiate a lower price. Liverpool will try and broker a deal to sign Martinez for £10mil and loan him back to Bilbao until January. Within this period (July to January) Liverpool will also loan out David N’gog to Bilbao. In January, Bilbao will use the money from the Llorente deal to sign another player and N’gog will either return to Anfield or stay in Spain for the rest of the season."

A few points to note. .
1. Bilbao are not certain to lose Llorente to anyone as Valencia are the biggest team interested and they have no money. He also has not long signed an new contract.
2. Martinez has a 30m Euro release clause so could cost alot more than £10m. Also why loan back such an expensive player?
3. Bibao would never loan N'Gog. He's french and Bilbao only allow Basque players to play for them and always have done. Mikel San Jose is Basque so would be the only player that could go to Bilbao (a seperate deal is in the pipeline anyway and could happen whether or not Martinez is involved).
4. As for Llorente will go to a "big club" well in Spain Bilbao are one of the biggest (second to Real Madrid and Barca). They are also very wealthy so are no mugs. If Barca and Real are the Spanish Liverpool and Man U, then Bilbao are an Arsenal/Everton/Spurs (ie a giant WITH a history).
Rangers have offered a trial to Trinidad & Tobago International midfielder Keon Daniel.
Paul Clement will be announced as the new Watford manager on a two year contract. He will look to bring in a number of Chelsea reserve players as there have been a recent close relationship between the two clubs.
Once Tony Mowbray has been appointed as the new Celtic manager, they will make an approach for new Hibs manager John Hughes. Hughes jumped at the chance to join Hibs as it would improve his chances of being a Premier League manager. Jeremy Peace wants further Scottish contacts with Albion and is now going to sign Hughes on a three year contract.

At Vietnam News we have had a massive story regarding Newcastle Football club. As was reported several months ago, Billionaire Trung Dung is in talks to buy the club.
Talks between Mike Ashley and Mr Dung's advisor and spokesman faltered last September due to Ashleys high asking price. But now the price has been lowered to £100 Million, Trung is poised to finally buy the club. His advisor Kien Pham is trying to arrange a meeting on friday with the NUFC Supporters Group to gage their reaction and get a feeling of what the fans want.
Mr Dung wants to keep Shearer in charge but he also wants to give Lee Sinnott a high profile job at St James Park.
More on this as we get it but it seems like Mr Dung will give us a statement on this tomorrow.

If Keane is in place – look out for the Irish lads:

As we all know now that Kaka has signed for Real Madrid, the other rumour is that David Beckham will be following him back to Madrid. Perez knows that Madrid can give Galaxy a better offer than Milan could and Perez also knows how much Brand Beckham was worth to Madrid and how much the fans still love him. Also expect Ronaldo, Villa, Ribery and also a cheeky move for Terry to be playing for the Galacticos next season.
What is it with people "exposing" other people's posts as untrue? I can understand when it's a stupid, boring, wish list. But when someone posts a witty thing, everyone automatically can see it's done for a laugh. So it's hardly a surprise to everyone that it turns out Carlos Tevez wasn't booked for speeding in Walton. Duh!

Anyway, a real rumour is that Joleon Lescott will go to Manchester City, and a transfer fee of just less than £25m will be paid (so Arsenal fan, he won't be joining your lot for £9.5m – at least make the amount sound believable ffs). There has been negotiation between Everton and City on this for the past week, with City offering £20m and Everton demanding £31m. It seems the clubs will meet half way. There will not be an exchange for Jo, although it does look likely that Jo will be loaned to Everton as a sweetener.

My cousins, mate's, uncle is Peter Beardsley and after still having links with Liverpool it is said around Merseyside that Rafa if looking into the Championship and snapping up Joe Ledley from Cardiff infront of neigbours Everton who look resgined to signing Claus Jorgenson who was released by Blackpool this week.

According to a source deep within the bowels of WBA, that I can't reveal without gettin them into deep trouble, Tony Mowbray is almost a done deal to Celtic, with the baggies lining up Cardiff boss Dave Jones as a replacement.
Jones turned WBA down a few seasons ago, but will be easier to prize away from the bluebirds now as Cardiff fans have been quick to turn on him despite his earlier loyalty, a cup final and a highest league finish in over 25 years.
David Moyes is currently staying in the same hotel as Nicky Butt in New York.Coincidence or are Everton getting him on the cheap to get him off the payroll at Newcastle

Tony Mowbray will be joining by the end of the week, expect to see bids for Fletcher from hibs & McCarthy from Hamilton to start with. Dont expect too much to be spent in the SPL this season given the current state of setanta.
Busy summer for both spanish giants:

Barcelona has an extra ammount of cash from sponsor Nike due to the 3 trophys that Barca has won this season, and that is the insignificant sum of 45 million euros!!!With this B arca's president has declared that they will sign 4–5 first–class players that seem to be:

– Mascherano has declared that he would love to play in Barcelona cause he thinks that right its the best team of the world, and Guardiola has already spoken with him, so he could be on his way to Barcelona for around 27m, and as the finantial situation of Liverpool is quite weak, they are considering very seriously letting him go and catch bthe money and try to minimize his huge debt. Mascherano could come along with Cesc to fom the best midfield of the world.
– Vidic seems to be quite close to Barcelona too as both tems have already spoken and depite they still negotiating, and agreement could be quite close for around 22–27m.
– Ibrahimovic has agreed terms already with the catalonian team and right now bth presidents are negotiating the fee that coukld be closed for around 45m
– Lahm is the main objective for the LB, Bayern could agree a fee of around 15m with Gudjhonssen going the other way.

And about Real Madrid, it is confirmed that Florentno is gonna spend 250m!! plus whatever they can get from the sales. The players that are on his way to Bernabeu for sure are:
– Ribery is on his way to the Bernabeu as he has declared that he doent want to come to England cause the weather is as bad as in Germany.
– Real has closed terms with Liverpoll for Alonso for 18m+Heinze and all that is left is his medical exam.
– Cristiano is going to join Real for sure, Ferguson knows this since the Champions League final and the deal is going to be closed for around 50+Huntelaar ( a player that SAF loved since a long time ago )
– Villa only wants to play in Real and has declined any other offer, specially one from Chelsea and other from Barca for more than 40m. The deal between teams could be closed for 34m+Negredo.
– About Maicon, Inter and Real are akready negotiating a transfer for around 15m due to the desire of the player of playing in Spain next season.
– Silva won't go to Liverpool as he has agreed terms with Real and Real's offer is much more attractive to Valencia than Pool's one. Albiol will join both Silva and Villa in Real for around 11m.

Higuain and Robben won't go anywhere as Valdano consider them great players that could help the team so much, and for Sneijder he will only go for around 20 million in order to get some cash, if a teams offers less than that he will continue in the white team.
Clychy will be swapped with Marcelo as in Real people is fed of of the indiscipline of the brazilian.
Van der Vaart and Marcelo will leave the team as they havent proved to be enough good to be in Real and will be sold or used as part of some deal. Same goes for Gago, Van Nistelrooy and Drenthe. For these 3 players Real expects to get around 40m.
My friend works as an English/Spanish translator and has been helping Aston Villa with negotiations with Igor Gabilondo of Athletic Bilbao. Looking at signing him for £5m.

Benitez still feels Babel can succeed and that is why he wil stay. However he will not be considered as much on the left, and will play more of a role through the middle. He feels that his first team is trong enough, but it is just the squad strength in depth that is the issue.

Info from Montreal for all LFC fans, Gillet (who owns the Montreal Canadiens hockey team) has set a deadline of today to receive bids for the team. 3 groups are interested, at a price of roughly 250 million pounds. Newspapers here claim that the sale might be aproved as early as the 14th, and if it does happen then the refinancing of the LFC loan will be much easier.

You'll know soon, one way or another

  Lfc likely in's and out's
In's:
Sergio Aguero:Diego Maradonna is his father in–law and has advised him to join up with Mascherano and plus Rafa has said he would break his transfer record this summer. David Silva:With the Madrid president saying he wants Ronaldo,Villa and Ibrahimovic and possibly Ribery and they just got Kaka so it's hard to see where Silva would fit in so a move is looking more likely. Rafinha:Rafa has been looking at him for a few seasons and with Glen Johnson
probably going to Chelsea or City cos of the money he would be a cheaper option. Adam Johnson:Rafa see's great potential in him and would get him at a bargain and would be good cover for Silva. Javi Martinez:Another Rafa see's great potential and a replacement for Xabi(unfortunatley). A couple of youngsters as usual:Luc castaignos,Ignacio Camacho.
Out's:
Xabi Alonso:Rafa said it would take a mind blowing offer and expect it at least 30mil. Madrid or City. Albert Riera: We need the money and he will go back to spain. Ryan Babel: Rafa doesn't like his attitude and Wenger is a long tome admirer of him and see's him as the new Henry but he could used as part of the deal to sign Ageuro. Andreas Dossena: Wants a move to Juve quick. Alvaro Arbeloa: Is feeling homesick and will go back to spain. Then a few of the fringe players, Voronin,Pennant etc. .
WATCH OUT FOR THESE TO HAPPEN

I love the fact people keep putting on here that Senna will go to Arsenal for betewwn 9–10 million pounds!!! Senna is nnearly in his mid 30's so i am pretty sure that if Villareal got a bid of even 1 million for him they would accept the bid as Senna has about 1–2years left to play. So please people stop making up rubbish and stop thinking Senna is about 26yrs old as well!!!!!!!!!! Now for a rumour, expect Arsenal to bid for Huntelaar and Sneijder form Real Madrid!!
Billy sharp is on his way to leicester for 950k.

RANGERS RUMOURS

INS: MARK HOWARD (FALKIRK), ZACK WHITBREAD (MILLWALL) OR ROB JONES (HIBS), CHRIS BRUNT (WBA) & LEE MILLER (ABERDEEN)
EXPECT TO SEE JAMES McARTHUR (HAMILTON) COME IN NEXT SEASON JUST TO GIVE HIM ANOTHER SEASON AT HAMILTON BEFORE JOINING THE GERS.

NOTE TO CELTIC FANS. . . YOU HAVENT GOT A MANAGER THEREFORE YOU CANT SAY THAT CERTAIN PLAYERS WILL BE SIGNED!!! COMMON SENSE!!!!
