NUFC Rumours
Newcastle are still keeping a look at Darren Bent but if they are to by him it will be a very late transfer as they want to see how he recorvers from his knee injury. Klose is an option as he was about to sign for Newcastle in the summer but Werder Bremem canceled the deal at the last minute because they failed to get the striker they were looking at.Cassano and Bridge are definites both coming on loan and both with the option of buying for cut down costs because of our relationships with both clubs. Also expect to see EITHER Silveste or Yobo. This all comes from a source very high up at Newcastle United

Arsenal are lining up a bid for West Ham's Nigel reo cooker with lauren and ljungberg going in the opposite direction.
Manchester United are currently looking at osasuna's starlet Raul Garcia as owen hargreaves's too expensive.
Chelsea are preparing a bid for Adriano, with premiership flop Andriy Shevchenko moving to Inter as part of the deal.
PLYMOUTH ARGYLE have signed Hungarian International winger PETER HALMOSI from Debrecen on loan for the remainder of the season. If he impresses the clubs have agreed a £400k fee.
Ian Holloway is also set to sign defender and fellow Hungarian KRISZTIAN TIMAR from Ferencvaros for around £200k. The deal should go through by the end of the week.
AKOS BUZSAKY will be staying at home park following the arrival of two compatriots, however TONY CAPALDI has failed to agree a new contract and will be sold to Wolves for £450k.

LFC Rumours
Lucas Neil will not be coming to LFC until the summer - Blackburn are aware there are a lot of clubs interested, and are therefore asking too much for a playing who is out of contract in the summer - But Neil has set his heart on coming to the reds, so will decline the offer to go elsewhere and move for free.
Rafa has £15m to spend in January, but do not expect any big names - Instead, expect the arrival of Daniele Padelli from Sampdoria (£2m rated goalkeeper) as backup to Reina, plus a young 20 yr old argentinian Seb Leto from Lanus (£2m midfielder). Mascharano from West Ham is also a possability, for around £5.5m, but the fee's being asked for the likes of Bale and Young, have put Rafa off pursuing them further.
Leaving the club - Dudek £1m - Zenden - £750k, plus a few of the younger lads will be sent out on loan.
Luton had had a bid accepted for Crewe striker Luke Varney prior to his hat-trick. Luton are looking at him as a replacement for the Birmingham bound Rowan Vine.

looks like the blades have all but signed Sunderland striker Jon Stead for a cheap 1.1 million. he is on loan at Derby now but looks set for a move just up the road.don't be surprised if Mr Warnock goes all out for Greg Halford at colchester now with a bid up to 2.75 million. this added to the Chris lucketti going to hull for 400.000 and maybe a deal can be done with Charlton to bring in Andy Ried plus cash and Nick montgomery going the other way. Ohhh and last of all Billy (the 100% blade) Sharp will be back at bramall lane before the end of January which will leave it open for steve kabba to go back down south ( watford, palace, QPR, Luton all in with a shout)

To the person who said Metin Aliu is the next big thing in Australia, what planet are you on? I live in Sydney and there is no player in Australia by that name playing football. I can also tell you all the talk about aussie Lucas Neill is just that. He is not going anywhere until the end of the season. And when he does he will be going to Barcelona. My friend spent the Christmas break teaching him Spanish and Catalunyan in Sydney.
I've heard that darren bent is definately going to Spurs which pushes either Jermaine Defoe or Robbie Keane out. The favourite would be Robbie Keane as a lot of clubs would love him at their club but Defoe is a very simlar player to darren bent so definitely might be going to Chelsea but a possibility is Wolves loaning robbie keane untill the end of the season. This is completely true as Mick McCarthy worked with keano in the Ireland team at the world cup! and with darren bent going to Spurs, Wolves fans are going to be happy with keane going to them

The Plymouth rumours in the last couple of days have been investigated very well. Particularly the ones involving them signing Nathan Tyson from Wycombe (even though he has been a Nottingham Forest player for over a year) and De La Cruz from Villa (This is the the same De La Cruz that played for Reading against Burnley and has been a Royals player all season) . Anyway, expect to see Bobby Zamora in a Royals shirt before the close of the transfer window - this should be the final pice of the puzzle that makes Sidwell sign a new deal as he is Zamorras best mate.

Randy Learner has got dismayed at Villa's slump and I have heard that the reason the players are not responding is that O'Neil isn't happy, don't know why but he is not happy and may leave soon. Rangers Rumours
Walter has already spoke to Barry Ferguson about his doubts as a Rangers player. He is definately not for sale at any price. I have information that the rift between Ferguson and Le Guen was blown way out of proportion. The only thing Le Guen didn't like was Ferguson shouting at the players, but sometimes he couldn't hold back his nature. And the "undermining" that Ferguson was doing was only suggesting to Le Guen that Steven Pressley was a free transfer and that he should take a look at him. So would the "Anti-Barry Ferguson" mob stop making suggestions about the clubs best player and a player that only wants what is best for Rangers. Either Celtic fans on the wind up, or so-called Rangers fans who clearly do not have a clue what supporting Glasgow Rangers really means.

David Villa will not be coming, in fact Rafa will not be signing a striker at all, we are waiting until the summer when he has a chance to sign David Trezeguet from Juventus.
I've heard that the baggies are to sign Wolves goalie Matt Murray for £2M

1/ Scott Brown and Kevin Thomson will bin agent Willie McKay, then sensationally join hearts for a combined fee of £2.9m
2/ When Smith takes over at Rangers, he will sign Whittaker, Murphy and Fletcher from Hibs
3/ New Scotland boss will be David Moyes which will allow John Collins to take the reigns at Everton.
4/ Celtic will sign Milan Baros
5/ Hearts will sign Mario Volz and V.Hleb (brother of Arsenal's Alexander)

United will win the treble this season, and the quadraple next season.
Great bit of humour from the guy who suggested that Rangers wouldn't re-sign flops. What about Walter Smith? Is this not the same guy who threw away Rangers' chance to 10 in a row against an average Celtic side? Anyway, let's get real about who Rangers will sign - and how much we can recoup from the duds in the squad. Scott Brown will be the most expensive player Rangers buy for the next 2 years, but other signings are likely to come in the shape of cheap promising youngsters. We really need to build for the future and accept that it will 2 years before we have the squad or finances to compete with Celtic. Walter's motivational skills don't work for a whole league season, and he'll be replaced as soon as Rangers can afford somebody up to the job.
I heard last night that Reading are after Bobby Zamora. He was best man at Sidwells wedding and there wives are best friends. Coppell wants Sidwell to stay and this may be the answer to keep him there. Plus Zamora is wasted at West Ham!
