Stephane Bikey set to sign for the Royals thursday afternoon for a fee thought to be around £250k, in the coming week Reading set to wrap up deals for £3.5m John Mensah, £1m Matt Holland, £1.5m Nolberto Solano and part/exchange Bobby Zamora for Steve Sidwell plus money.
The only person I have seen on here talking any sense is the Arsenal fan who yesterday dismissed the idea of Mascherano going to the Emirates as they have Diaby everything you said was spot on. If only all fans were so realistic!
For my club Man Utd Senna looks to be a done deal although I would have preferred Hargreaves as the guy has an awesome engine. Don't expect a striker to come as I truly think Torres wants to stay in Spain and I reckon he is waiting for Barcelona to come a knockin! In saying that I would not completely rule out the idea of Tevez SAF might think he will get a good deal on the player with his fan problems in Brazil!
As for Liverpool Torres will not be coming to you guys sorry. I really don't think Raffa the Gaffa would spend that much money on one player he is too shrewd. He would rather spend probably less than half on Kuyt who works like a donkey and has a great scoring ratio (a min of about 22 a season last 4 years) there is only us or Chelski Stupid enough to spend that much on one player. As for Alves I don't think you will sign him either 12 million for a bench warmer for Pennant and Finnan I don't think so!
As for the rest of you dream about who you want it would take another Abramovich for any of the other clubs to catch the BIG FOUR!!
Charlton News- Dowie will sign Fiore for £2m, Isaksson for £2.1m and Gyan £1.5m. he will also bid for M'Bami and try to sign at least 2 of the players he has on trial.
Man Utd News - Ribery, Tevez and Senna will all join in a week. While SAF will bid for Torres 3 days before the window closes, this is because atletico want to sell after Torres said he will leave no matter what next summer (when he will have a year left on his contract) and will not sign a new deal, which will mean they could lose £15m plus.
All of you that believe Man Utd will be getting more than one striker are nuts. It will only be Torres or Tevez. Not both, not ibra, Martins or Klose.
Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham are all keeping track of Dinamo Zagreb's talented 20-year old playmaker Luka Modric. The young Croatian international is contracted to the club till 2015, and while Dinamo would like to retain his services for as long as possible, a sizeable offer will be enough to pry away this burgeoning talent.

I have a friend in Spain who had a young Barcelona player called Arnau Riera in his restaurant on Sunday night. He has a LOT of contacts in football and he is friends with Arnau and his family. I was told on Monday that he would be joining Sunderland from the Barcelona 'B' team, but I thought nothing of it until I turned on Sky Sports News on Wednesday to find out that he's joined Sunderland. He was also the one to tell me about Cesc Fabregas and Fran Merida joining Arsenal. How true the latest link is I don't know but he says that Tottenham are considering a bid for Barca's promising midfielder Andres Iniesta. You can tell he has strong interest in Barcelona, but that's because he's Catalunyan. Iniesta has been on the fringes at Camp Nou for several years but hasn't made himself a regular, which has alerted plenty of sides including Spurs. Following the sale of Michael Carrick, there's a slot in the midfield area to compete with new signing Didier Zokora and boss Martin Jol feels Iniesta is the man for it.

As a Celtic fan it pains me to read some of the rumours posted here. Petkov, Bulgarian full-back will not sign - he's not fit enough! As for "big-name" strikers - Makaay/Keane/Ashton/Zamora, no chance, we do not have the money. Only big name signing we could afford is the dutch bloke, Van hesselink of Vennegoor, and thats just coz its a big name. Petrov to Villa very probable, that will put 5mill in kitty but thats for at least 3 players + wages. .so don't expect much. One rumour that may unfold is John Sutton of St Mirren to Celtic, his big brother has hinted strongly about this. The other is a full-backand a loan deal for Patrice Evra is a strong possibilty. Worthy has stated that 700,000 on Croft was most of our budget so where would the 1.75 million for Eastwood come from? We are looking for 1 more player, a target man, approaches will be made for Sutton and Ferguson who are both available on frees but unless they significantly reduce their wage demands we will move for Izzie Mcleod for around 750k

All these rumours about Gallas leaving Chelsea are rubbish. They wont sell him, they will let him rot in the reserves.
As Crespo has gone to Inter on a free, they are now looking for a new striker. Names on Jose's list are Martins, Adriano, Eto'o, Torres and Tevez. He will get one of these, most likely Martins or Adriano.
Cole will not be moving across London because no agreement could be reached on a transfer fee. Instead Jose Mourinho has turned his attention to Lahm and Abidal.
In January Chelsea will be looking to bring in a new centre back, which will be ledley king or calling alex back from his loan at PSV. They will also be aiming to replace Makele who is retiring at the end of the season. The targets for his replacement are Gattuso and Mascherano.

Hello all, Ive heard that Mathieu Bodmer of Lille OS is on the wanted list by Paul Le Guen at Rangers. My brother is a physio with the French side and by all accounts Rangerts have asked him to come over to see there state of the art training facility in Glasgow.
Matheau claims to be intrested in a top club, Rangers being one of them. Although, having already declined a move to Arsenal as he would have to be used as a squad player. Paul Le Guen is expected to pay in the region of 6 million euros for the player who is contracted to the French club until 2011. The money from a sports deal in the UK is being used for the finaces.
The deal will go through once Fernando Ricksen heads out of Glasgow either on a free transfer or being released.

I know that fernando torres is linked with every big club, but he will sign for the biggest of them all. . liverpool. Rafa will bid for him now as the alves deal is off so he has 15 mill to spend. Add to this add ons and maybe luis garcia and harry kewell they could well get him now. It is doubtful though so a deal could be done next summer for a lower price and allow rafa to sign other targets this summer. A Left winger when kewell goes? right winger? If this is right then liverpool will sign a striker on loan now to hold the fourth striker spot till torres comes. Unfortunately it looks like trezuguet who i think is over rated. Other strikers available on loan are Ibrahimovic, raul and maybe del piero.

Wenger will also relectuntly let reyes go as he is home sick as oppose to wanting to leave for the money. Andreas Isaksson will sign for Manchester City in the next 48 hours after agreeing terms at Eastlands. The transfer fee is understood to be in the region of £2.5M and the deal is due to be completed on reciept of the £2M received for England #2 David James.
Everton will complete the signing of City's Antoine Sibierski after Stuart Pearce has given permission for them to speak to the Frenchman. Sibierski, 32, has one year left on his current deal and City will let him go for free.
Antoine was nothing more than a fringe player at the club last year and with Joey Barton signing a new contract and the arrival of Dabo and Hamann, his football looks even more limited at CoMs. Moyes tried, and failed to bring Sibierski to Everton a couple of years back, but the attacking midfielder chose a move to the blues.
Grays Ath's Dennis Oli (who was previously on trial at Watford) will sign for a Championship in the coming days. It is widely thought that it will be either Southend, Ipswich, Crystal Palace or QPR.

SAF will not sign another striker this summer. This is why he has refused to put Rossi his 5th striker out on loan. Arsenal will not sign Ribery much to my chagrin. He has already stated "where would I put him?" Won't play him in front of Hleb or Rosicky the two wingers. Abidal is coming in. Reyes leaves in a straight cash deal around 16.5m. The biggest Arsenal news is this: Ashley Cole isn't leaving for Chelsea. Arsene Wenger is wasting Mourinho's time so he won't get a bargain when he eventually switches his interest to Lahm. Martins is not coming to the premiership until January. An Ibrihimivich deal will not come until the last day of the transfer window locking Martins in until January.

Curtis Davies will finally sign for Arsenal, costing 6mil pounds. The Ghana defender Iliasu Shilla may also sign too if he impresses in his trial, sorting the defence. Stillian Petrov will be at Aston Villa by Monday for £6million. Strachan will receive half of this fee to fund the signing of 3new players. First will be Kilmarnocks Stephen Naismith for half a million as a straight replacement for Petrov. 2nd signing will be Ian Harte for 1mllion. Final signing is Brian McBride from Fulham for 1.5million.
With Hearts now effectively out of Champions League expect Paul Hartley to sign for Celtic. The player is still elligible for Europe and is viewed as perfect replacement for Petrov.
Obafemi Martins is set to move to Tottenham, although Liverpool could spur a late interest for the Milan striker.

Torres won't move to Man Utd because SAF is more than aware of the fact strikers from Spain rarely do well abroad. Instead expect him to persevere with the strikers he has until Jan when he will buy Huntelaar for 17million from Ajax. A better finisher who is better suited to Premiership.
Charlton's general manager Andrew Mills has been in the USA looking at Dempsey, Johnson, Wolff and Donovan. He also took in the all-star game against chelsea to look at Mikel, Diarra and Kalou as they Charlton are looking at taking at least 1 of them on loan.
I am not related to anyone at OT, nor have I seen or overheard anything, but I have read on News Now that on Italian TV Adriano's agent stated that he has agreed personal terms with United. Take that for what you will.
