Steve Tilson will not go back to Southend whilst Ron Martin the Chairman is still involved.

My Hunch is Paul Sturrock will be a football consultant at Plymouth.to cover James Brent's lack of knowledge on football.

Sturrock may be just what Plymouth needs at the moment. Look how he has dragged Southend out of the mire.

And overlooking the team will be future successful managers Graham Coughlan and Carl Fletcher. A youthful combination with Sturrock to fall back on. {Ed003's Note - What happened with Tilson and Martin?? }

Southampton, along with Brighton, are already starting to slide. It may not look like it as they're still right up there, but look at their recent form... both teams have returned 7pts from the last 15 available, Brighton have only won once in 4 games and Southampton have won once in their last three. Oddly enough, Southampton have lost their games to good sides (Cardiff and Leicester) it seems they can beat the cannon fodder but put a good side in front of them and they lose - they've had an easy start, but there are an awful lot of good sides lining up to shoot them down. Won't be long before they take their rightful place in mid table, and then all these gobby fans will slip quietly into the night and won't be heard from again... can't wait...............................................................

Saints have got 10 points from a possible 15 you mug. Arithmetic is clearly not you strong point, so i would advise you to ask your teacher if you can have so extra Maths tuition. Easy Start, Leeds, Millwall, Birmingham, Burnley, Notts Forest all teams tipped to be up the top this season...Wake up you Fishy person
.............................................
Have you not seen the league? Millwall r on bad form and so r birmingham and notts forest. Leeds have only weekend this season and you got outplayed by Burnley! So shut 'up you fishy person'

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bad form or not look at their squads their all good teams, your just jealous that were over achieving our expectations, your probably a fan of the underperformers the ones you just mentioned.
--------------------------------------------
No I'm a Middlesbrough fan and i'll bet you 50quid your bubble burst soon... You can't buy yourself everything. Be happy with mid table finish

Believable0 Unbelievable2

Can't buy ourselves everything? Do your home work fella, we strengthened our team in certain areas but mainly still have the same squad we got promoted with.

Southampton Till I Die.

Agree1 Disagree0

How many more idiots are going to keep saying we are trying to buy our way to success, we have brought in 3 players and one on loan at a cost of somewere between 4-5 million when you consider AOC was sold for 12 million rising to 15 million good bit of buisness i would say. Also when you think that only Jack Cork is the only regular starter we are playing with the team the won us promotion last year. Us as saints fans are enjoying it, if we slide then we slide but at the moment it feels good to be a saints fan. The opposite for those Fishy Skates must be very worried you will be relagated this season.

Agree2 Disagree0

...well said, some idiots on here are making statments and facts about things they don't know about. Losers.

Steve Tilson will NOT return to Southend while Ron Martin is still involved at the Club.

I suspect Paul Sturrock will go back to plymouth in a consultancy role.

The team at Home Park will be re-invigorated under the emerging successful leadership of duo Graham Coughlan and Carl Fletcher.

I know for a fact most of the sources about Blues are near-on correct.

Mick McCarthy is thought to be very close to walking away from Wolves. It is believed that he was very disappointed with the reaction of Wolves supporters at a couple of his decisions at the weekend. Also it is rumoured that MM has heard rumblings from inside Molineux that Steve Morgan is getting impatient with the lack of progress. And McCarthy may well jump before pushed.
Morgan is known to want the Molineux club to be a more attractive proposition to potential signings and is known to want a high profile name with a good CV to lead the club forward.
If McCarthy does not jump, then defeat in Wolves next game at WBA could well mean the end of McCarthys Wolves reign.

Wolves= Sunderland.

i like how all the attention is on other teams in the chapionship. we (leeds) are quitely creping up the league, leeds have aken 10 points from the last 12 and if we win our game in hand we go up to 5th. we have only played 2 teams in the bottom 12and have played 5 of the top 6, 3 of wich were away from home. come on leeds! garyd MOT

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Nooooo! don't try to apply logic, these people can't cope with logic. Southampton will win the league because they're on top, nobody else matters.

Dear Glasgow Smelltic board. Please do NOT sack Mr Lemming! I have tanned a fair bit of the xmas savings on drink this weekend (mon the Jambos) and am relying on Paddy Power paying out on Rangers to win the league, early. If you could please see to it that Mr Lemming and his wonderful back room team of experts could stay on until say, late November, I would be most gratefull.

Yours

Who said Leicester were the best team in the league, i certainly didn't? All I said was that i thought Southampton have had an easy start, i pointed to the league table to highlight the fact that they have beaten teams at the bottom of the league but they've lost to teams at the top end of the league. No idea why that offends you so much, truth hurts i guess

Truth hurts...we are top of the league you MUG that really does hurt, we have got 22 points, scored 25 goals by 12 different players.
Take your blinkers off

Believable1 Unbelievable0

22 points? 25 goals? 12 different players? But only 1 point to make... over and over and over and over and over and over... like your season will be by the start of the new year.

Ooya, he wrote MUG in capital letters to highlight his point, how cool is he!

my replay didnt get posted about the wife and cat leaving you!!!
oh and well done southampton ,your playing well !
leicester your s**t!!!!!

maximus

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Its early days in the Championship, and I think that the ex-prem teams have yet to fire on all cylinders. Southampton have started well and may have the squad to be in the mix at the end. The foxes have under achieved for the outlay they've made and SGE days are numbered. I understand that they would like D Furgeson - Pompey and the blue few are doomed and the Robins have totally capitulated and those two will be joined by the Lions in Div 1 next term.

Agree3 Disagree0

Going to the doc's tomorrow, just found myself in total agreement with a MAXIMUS post!
First time for everything I guess, but my wife and cat have just left me!

Why cant this sad little Leicester fan give credit where it is due, Saints are top of the pile, get over it, they are playing excellent football with players that played in league one last season with the exception of a few new signings, meanwhile Leicester sign half the world and are the best team in the league simply because they beat Derby.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Who said Leicester were the best team in the league, i certainly didn't? All I said was that i thought Southampton have had an easy start, i pointed to the league table to highlight the fact that they have beaten teams at the bottom of the league but they've lost to teams at the top end of the league. No idea why that offends you so much, truth hurts i guess.

When Southampton beat someone at the top end of the table i'll be impressed, until then though, i remain unconvinced, and i really don't give a toss if you girls can cope with that or not, get over it.
