Quote from Portsmouth boss Guy Whittingham 09/02/2013:

"There will not be any more new players. We have just created an unwanted record, but there is no alternative but to plod on. "

HNWI's will no longer fund any further signings, investment ceiling hit on 08/02/2013.

Trust or bust.

Great win today, was slightly worried about the team selection but after today's game I won't be again. Anyone that is proud to wear a Southampton shirt is worthy of a place in my opinion.

Well you have to hand it to Dean, he's certainly playing a cool game; or has he got this wrong? A point today against Cardiff - fair enough - but has Dean noticed that Hudds Town are now only one defeat away grom the relegation zone? Earlier in the season I'd have comforted myself that at worst there were 3 poorer teams in the Championship than Town; now I don't think so. Even the bottom side, Peterborough, not only beat Leicester today which Town have failed to do, but more importantly they absolutely outplayed Town. There has to be an appointment this week otherwise it will be like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic!

I agree mate I was at leicester in the league and they battered us ans so did peterborough it was a long journey home on a tuesday night. from peterborough. we are in trouble. At least lillis has put some pride into the players and for that I would give him until the end of the season there isn't time for a new man to bed in

Beyond a joke. no manager yet, team dropping like fly"s, all these names flying about. for god"s sake, give the job Mark lillis till season is over, then look to getting new manager. all this who will, who wont, can"t be good for team that"s not gelling. once decision is done on Lillis, then maybe team can focus and pull together and try to escape the drop. ACT NOW, MAKE MARK LILLIS THE GAFFER.

Mark robins is staying put at ccfc. The loan window has opened and mark robins is looking at Adam Campbell of Newcastle and henshal of man city to add pace and goals to the side. This comes from the same person who told me of marlon king, mcgoldrick, McDonald and Clarke.
