Whats with all the negativity about Chelsea? We have always been a big club, always one of the big four.
We have had amazing players like kerry dixon, pat nevin, frank leboeuf, frank sinclair, jody morris, david speedie, ken monkou, paul elliot the list is endless.
We have the best support and the largest support in britain. The only reason we advertise tickets and season tickets on the radio is not because we are small but to give the masses a chance to watch chelsea in action.
Even without abramovich we would of made it because we are such a big and moral club. All this is selfmade, the russian didnt spend that much.
Liverpool fans and all the other deluded fools be worried cos chelsea are the best.

Larry

Hahahha u absolute tool you honestly have not got a clue the russian has spent hundreds an hundreds of millions Chelsea get ripped because of fans like you I mean c'mon you just named host Morris in your "quality players"

Derby county are close to making a deal with marlon harewood on a free. Aswell as that Derby county are also in talks with arsenal to loan out aaron Ramsey on a season long loan after paul green is conifrmed not to be back before christmas. Their is also talks of Derby county wanting the signature of ex swindon man Charlie Austin who has only a few months ago just signed for Burnley. The rams are trying to sign the striker in a excess of 1.5 million. the Burnley Board have decided to go ahead with this descion, as Burnley are trying their best to keep Chris Eagles away from big clubs and offer him a better contract. My source is jonny Metgod.

wolves signed o hara and johnson for 12mil actually what a waste of money dingle dingle dingle dingle
---------------------------------------------------
no its 7.5m

O'hara cost 3.5m and johnson cost 4m... solly baggie

----------------------------------------------------

That silly baggie is just going off what the papers say we paid for then. Wolves have a policy to keep trance fees undisclosed. Express and star published a report a few weeks back that says from a much more reliable source that we payed much less than what everyone else reported. 7.5m estimate is probably closest.

Be run more like wolves? We have broken transfer record 2 years running and have spent more than you Please think about what you say

Believable0 Unbelievable0

09 Aug 2011 13:18:45
Barton won't join wolves, but I think thats down to McCarthy not being interested not due to him being a bad player because in all fairness he is a bloody good one or that he would not least consider it, did he not go on record last week to say he would consider offers from any club (including championship).

For you Newcastle fans who say we are a small club, you really do think you are bigger than you are and have for a long time You are not challenging for the title anymore and never will again. I really thought your relegation may have acted a humbling exercise obviously not The way your club is ran is a disgrace your chairman should be ashamed of himself and you should be ashamed of him How can he sanction the sale of Nolan and say Barton can leave for nothing, they were the heartbeat of your team last season

I can't blame you for having desires on Doyle he is an outstanding player non of your strikers come close to him but why would he want to play under Pardew may i ask?

Trophy Hall English Clubs (Top 10)

1. Liverpool - 58
2. Manchester United - 55
3. Arsenal - 39
4. Tottenham Hotspur - 24
5. Everton - 24
6. Aston Villa - 22
7. Chelsea - 17
8. Manchester City - 13
9. Wolverhampton Wanderers - 13
10. Newcastle United - 12

Looks like your a tiny club to then Jog on Newcastle

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Haha great post

Agree0 Disagree0

Is that the total for cups and league titles?

Agree0 Disagree0

No, its the amount of supporters per acre of ground.

Agree0 Disagree0

Gr8 reading, see chelsea down in 7th there, not even the biggest in london

Agree0 Disagree0

All together sunderland have 16 so they should be 8th and that kicks newcastle out of the top 10

Agree0 Disagree0

This post is wrong , now let me do the sums for you ok , english titles - man u 19,liverpool 18, fa cup and league cups- man u 15,liverpool 14, european and world trophies man u 6,liverpool 8, that makes 40 each, so what other trophies you are adding are not major trophies, cos if thats the case lets add charity shields to the total.

Agree0 Disagree0

Its all trophies and the list was from 2009 so it is wrong i realised after i submitted it, i got a bit carried away laying into newcastle fans some of them were calling wolves tiny when our achievements are very similar.

Agree0 Disagree0

If you do it on major trophies top 10 are as follows.

01. Liverpool & Manchester United 40
02. Arsenal 27
03. Aston Villa 20
04. Tottenham Hotspur 17
05. Chelsea 16
06. Everton 15
07. Newcastle 11
08. Manchester City

Just watching Sky Sports news and it states Stoke in talks with Mathew Upson over possible transfer. Don't feel that this is an area that we need to consider strenghtening any more. Costs could be better spent on a right fullback, some creativity in midfield and another winger. Add to this also another striker and we should end up with a decent squad for this season

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Upson is a good clogger. Will suit your Rugby club, down to the ground.

Ryan Harley from Swansea is one of them, as confirmed by the local paper source Evening Argus.

To clear a few things up.................Stoke have NOT signed Wilson Palacios althought it isn't out of the question. Crouch HAS turned down Sunderland and Stoke have made an approach which is on-going and may go to the end of the window as he weighs up his options at Spurs. (Before any more Sunderland fans come on moaning that they are bigger than Stoke etc I'm sorry but it is 100% fact)

Bendtner is on Stoke's radar but not their first choice. Stoke are keen to take Sturridge on a season long loan as soon as Chelsea complete another deal.

Sorensen will leave the Potters if they find a suitable number two.

Stoke are 100% NOT after Upson despite rumours today. (Thank God)

Deal with Marseille almost done but common news on the Stoke sites

Surprise full back deal still a possibility

Stoke have turned down another approach from West Ham for Glenn Whelan. The player himself has no interest in going there.

Everton midfielder having further talks tomorrow

(From inside the club before we get the usual obsessive Sunderland fan replying AGAIN)

Believable0 Unbelievable1

You can have Crouch. Perfect player for Stoke. He only turned down sunderland because he would only play a bit part behind Gyan,Sessgnon + Whickham wheras at Stoke he will walk in the team. Enjoy

Agree0 Disagree0

WOWhaha you need to take a chill pill fella. Getting yourself into a state over football transfers. Ridiculous.

Win - win situation re the AOC transfer to Arsenal. Alex gets his dream move, Wenger gets his man and Southampton get the money to invest in the 3 quality signings that may well push us into the playoff places. The only losers in the short term are the arsenal fans, as Alex isn't the player who will keep you in a champions league spot. But he may well be the player to get you back in again, but not for 4 or 5 years. Sorry to see alex go but I am very happy with the deal. Once a player wants to leave you're best off getting as much cash as possible and kicking them off the bus.

All clubs due to play in the capital over the coming days advised to keep abreast of the situaution via their official websites as if things continue to get worse and spread across London the police will not want football supporters to use public transort and endanger their safety if avoidable leading to postponment of all foreseable fictures. West Ham already off with Charlton's and palace's games tomorrow also at risk.

Just a follow up on this The games at West Ham, Charlton, Palace and The England Vs Holland game are all off as Is the Bristol City Vs swindon tie due to the mindless violence spreading across the UK. Non football related but the Third test against Pakistan is scheduled to still go ahead.
BBC Sport understands the Premier League have had talks with the police over this weekend's matches involving London clubs but believe it is too early for a decision to be taken however if the rioting continues at the scale of the last few nights it is highly unlikely games will go ahead as the police in London could not guarantee the safety of players and supporters and need their resources elsewhere. Again you are advised to check your official club website for updates.

£5m & £7m Those were the reported figures at the time when the transfers went through. However the clubs transfer dealings are very private and know one really knows the exact figures Since the original fees were reported in the press it has come to light that we may have paid as little as £3.5m for O'Hara & £4m for Johnson. As I say though the clubs transfer rumours are done behind closed doors fees are very rarely officialy disclosed, so we don't really know However Steve Morgan (Owner) & Jez Moxey (Chief Ex) are very shrewd business men and i would not put it past them puling the deals off for the smaller fees.
