Priority Left Back Right Back and centre forward. He will top up all other areas with kids. This year less tinkering and more Quality in the main positions and less rotation. This is what come out of the end of season review.
Jonathan Woodgate unreliable fitness, Ben Gibson untried, Seb Hines not good enough, Rhys Williams will be sold, and George Friend is preffered at right back, so yes we do need a good centreback.

Me thinks Sam Allardyce is living in a dream land if he thinks Razvan Rat and Adrain have greatly improved his squad. He needs help at RB demel is not the answer in the premier league. He needs another CB because Titus Bramble is NOT the answer although Free. He needs at least one more forward even if he keeps Maiga and he needs a Right sided wide player unless he continues to experiment with Ravel Morrison. And then Jarvis says they are targetting Cup next season. Which One cause none available for relegation

I've just been reading an article where Sam Allardyce where he has said "West ham have made great improvements on the team that finished last season and we are near completion for next season"! Are you having a laugh or what. He has brought in Adrian and Rat and that's it. O'Neill has gone, Cole has gone, Tomkins rumoured to be on his way as is Diarra and Maiga and West ham need more people. Obviously a bit of sunstroke got to Big Sam because if he thinks for one minute his squad is ready he is very much mistaken
West ham fans have very short memories. Big Sam has been magnificent for your club. You were in the championship and without Sam turning your club around, you would likely still be there now. Sam's record in prem is very impressive having steered bolton into europe, consecutive top 10 finishes and made blackburn a stable team in his time there. Even wet spam didn't look at all like going down last season and looked solid. You won't go down under Sam, he'll keep you up for years. It's testament that were he's been replaced/left the clubs have later failed. bolton now championship and Blackburn likewise also after he was dismissed at Newcastle, Keegan and co took them down. You really don't know how good a manager you have there, the players respect him and will fight tooth and nail. Big Sam for England!!

Ipswich close to signing free agent Christophe Berra following his release from Wolves.
Swap deal involving JET and Anderson is near completion with Ipswich settling the remaining year on his contract. Ipswich were keen on a player plus cash deal but it seems a player for player swap is all Bristol City are willing to do. Both players are to undergo medicals today.
