Johnny Russell has signed for Derby subject to a medical on Monday, which he will definitely pass, so yeah he's signed pretty much.

Derby also in talks with pacey winger Jon Taylor, should also be a simple deal with his wage being low coming from one league below.

Craig Forsyths deal definitely has a hitch because all the Derby employees such as Rush and Clough have said the deal will be sorted after the play off final. Still no word on progress.

Derby are looking at long term CB options at the moment and are therefore giving the decision more caution and time. If they do not find a suitable candidate a loan for 6 months will happen but not for a good month.

Derby may go in for another striker but would solely depend on if the entire transfer list was sold. Bailey, Tyson, Legzdins, Fielding, Naylor, Oconnor and Robinson.

Johnny Russell has stated that he wants to play football abroad which I think rules out Celtic however it may also rule out Derby, but if Derby and Celtic are the only teams who come in for him then his opinion on playing abroad may change, with Celtic there's champions league and the possibility of impressing in europe, or with Derby he could impress in the championship whilst pushing for promotion and attract English Premier league teams which could change his opinion on playing abroad again, I don't think a deal will be done for Johnny russell for a few weeks wherever he goes
