Believable2 Unbelievable3

05 Jun 2012 21:07:05
Reading still in contention to sign Mariappa from Watford and Carlos Sanchez

Jamie O'Hara from Wolves is also believed to be a top priority, Wolves would be willing to let him go for roughly £5million the deal could be a goer if we can come to a deal on his wages.

We have produced a SECOND bid for Bjorn Bergmann Sigurdarson and Chris Gunter from Nottingham Forest, and sources claim we are in a "strong" position to sign Bjorn. But the fee quoted to be made for Gunter is believed to be £3million which may or may not be accepted. IF a deal for Gunter cannot be accepted, then Carl Jenkinson on loan from Arsenal maybe possible, or Mathieu Chalme may sign on a free

Rhodes is also still a priority yet Huddersfield want £8million, we don't want to spend more than £5million for him.

A deal for Matt Phillips from Blackpool is very likely, and if all contract talks go smoothly, it could be confirmed by late this week to early next, for a fee believed to be £4million.

That concludes all my news (to recap: Mariappa, Sanchez, O'Hara, Sigurdarson, Gunter, Rhodes, Phillips)

Reading are believed to want a left back, with a number of candidates- Ryan Bertrand (loan), Jack Robinson (loan) or Nicky Shorey on a free

IF the above targets are all confirmed, then IMHO I wouldn't think we need any more. But who knows!

Believable0 Unbelievable3

So thats nearly a whole team then, going down, lol

Cardiff owner TG is changing the colour as he thinks it is the only viable way he could invest in Cardiff City FC. The stadium plans will go ahead as soon as City get to the Premier league, the transfer budget will be around the £5-7mil mark, the training facilities will be improved to Southampton standards (very good!) and the debt will be cleared by next summer! Good times lay ahead at Cardiff City! Wether it be in blue or red I'll be there!

All these people complaining about Reading fans are so stupidly annoying. We are not suddenly saying that we can buy anyone we want, in fact, the complete opposite. We don't wanna end up like QPR and completely ruin the chemistry of the team. We want to be more like Swansea or Stoke. We want to gradually build our team and become more established. When we mention these rumours it's not because we want those players or think that we can definitely get those players but it's because, as Reading fans, it is in our interest to bring them up. I personally don't want Rhodes or Craig Mackail-Smith simply because I doubt they could cut it in the Premier League. It appears that many people are jealous and don't want to admit how well Reading have done to come this far.

Typical Baggies tactics from chairman Peace, sit on your hands while other clubs cherry pick the best bosses, and we,ll end up with the dross,no slur on Hodgson, who was an inspired appointment, but if we end up with Appleton or the likes of McLiesh I for one will never buy a season ticket or even go to the Hawthorns again as long as Peace is chairman. Albion have a great chance to kick on and really establish themselves as a premiership club, but whilst we act in this amateurish way in appointing a new manager we will never look like a good prospect to any manager of any standing, and if the right candidate is not forthcoming any good work will all be in vain and it will be back to the yo yo tag.

Believable0 Unbelievable1

The R's seem to be linked to almost every goalkeeper there is! There is so much BS written here, although it's good for a laugh. QPR need to sort Barton out first - he has to go, whatever the cost! We DO need the following IMO:
Consistent Goalkeeper - Green ?
A good, experienced Centre Back - Samba would be brilliant but unlikely
Another midfielder - Diakite rumoured to be close to signing
A winger - Moses would be a great signing
Got a feeling that we'll sign Andy Johnson

We need to get rid of:
Kenny
Barton !!
Wright-Phillips
Bothroyd
D J Campbell

So your a bolton fan mate you massive in debt im surprised youll last the season if your owner pulls out n millwall to finish bottom i dont think so im a wolves fan leicester aint that good they think they are huddersfield might make the play offs but i doubt it blackburn wont finish 7th they will struggle

Agree0 Disagree0

Im a huddersfield fan and i would have to be honest and say watch out for charlton, they are very strong and just might do a southampton/norwich.personally i will be happy to finish halfway in our first season promoted, wolves and bolton will be strong contenders,

Agree0 Disagree0

Sheffield Wednesday will be pushing for playoffs next season

You must be joking on most of that. B'ham, Blackpool, Hull, Bolton, Boro will be there or there abouts.
Leeds, Leicester, Charlton mid table.

Agree0 Disagree0

You always put Watford near the bottom
we made 11th this year & missed plays by a few points we will be 2nd this yre

Right, i have some very, VERY interesting info regarding the Izale McLeod transfer battle!

I have been told from a very reliable source that he has held talks with Cheltenham, Plymouth, Bristol Rovers, Bradford, MK Dons, and Wycombe.

I also understand that he strongly intends to stay relatively close to his home in Milton Keynes, and i have been told that MK Dons cannot guarantee him a starting place in the line up, so i understand that he will choose between Bristol Rovers and Rotherham but ive been told that he willchoose Bristol Rovers for geographical reasons, and the fact they will make him the highest paid player, and he feels he can develop his game further and learn alot from Rovers manager and former striker Mark McGhee. MY SOURCE IS VERY RELIABLE!

Are you sure you're not his agent...:-} COYRs
