Liverpool are looking to make cut price moves for Chelsea right winger Daniel Sturridge and Schalke striker Klaas Jan Hunterlaar this January, both players are out of contract at the end of the season and could prove great value. Brendan Rodgers is continuing his clear out at Anfield with Joe Cole,Danny Wilson,Jordan Henderson and Dani Pacheco looking likely to leave while Stewart Downing could also exit the club if performances do not improve. Brendan Rodgers clearly must believe that Andy Carroll will complete an £18m permanent move to West Ham at the end of the season otherwise he wouldn't be looking to sign Hunterlaar and Sturridge who can play as a make shift striker.
