Just been told Jay Bothroyd is being offered as part of the QPR offer for Ki. It seems he's been left out of QPR's german tour despite playing well on the recent tour of asia. QPR chairman saying negotiations are ongoing with Celtic but it seems Ki won't talk until after the olympics.

Watford are set to hijack Bristol Citys move for Sam Baldock. Watford are on the up but short on first team strikers and Zola wants to play passing football which would suit Baldock perfectly. Sam also wants to stay near his local town of Aylesbury with his family so Watford would be his primary choice should the bid come in for him as expected.

No more central midfielders will be leaving Craven Cottage this summer. After exits from Danny Murphy and Dickson Etuhu; both to Blackburn; Martin Jol wants to bring in one more midfielder which means Moussa Dembele will be staying at Fulham FC.
And to add to more positive news coming from Motspur Park, Moussa Dembele will sign a new contract with a release cause. This is because Dembele feels he needs one more year at the centre of attention at his club to improve his game and doesn't want to ruin his clubs finances by leaving on a free at the end of the season.
Clint Dempsey will leave; Clint has NOT made personal contact with Liverpool yet but Fulham and the Merseyside team are in talks over a deal. Fulham's evaluation is £10m but Liverpool do not want to spend more than £7m. Fulham would accept a swap deal but only if they feel it favours them over Liverpool.
As far as I know, Martin Jol is keen on FC Twente defender Douglas and is hoping his Dutch roots can interest the Brazilian (soon to be Dutch) defender. Steve McClaren would prefer to keep the big centre back but may have his hands tied. Newcastle still favourites though.

Sam Baldock expected to sign on Monday following medical for as little as 500k due to money still owed to Bristol City following Nicky Maynards transfer to West Ham last season.
It appears Noel Hunt of Reading has fallen out of favour with Brian McDermott and Derek Mcinnes is an admirer. He has enquired about his availability and is awaiting a response.
Derek Mcinnes still in the market for second striker, it is believed Dave Kitson has now agreed to leave Portsmouth and may be a potential target.
Also Ben Haim is a target if second bid for Gerrard is rejected.

But S*nSpurt can reveal Fulham boss Martin Jol has now entered the race for his signature.
And the Cottagers are expected to launch a big-money bid to snatch the 23-year-old from the London rivals.

NA and NC know what they're doing regarding bringing people in. Yes, it would of been nice to seen these players being mentioned come in early to gel with the fantastic team spirit we already have. Im sure we have tried for many centre backs and wingers and we have failed to bring them to the football club. Thats why we keep trying to find the right player with the right ethos. So it will take time.
Regarding transfers, strong rumours about LENS apparantly very close to being done and should be annouced it the next week. Also a winger and young promising centre back from a unnamed foreign club are also rumoured to be interesting saints.
