After the posts below I thought I was on the bloody Reading page! I know it's a Royal weekender but that is ridiculous! Being a Brighton fan I would like to ask the Swansea fans... Who do u want as boss?

The disastrous pending appointment of the German coach is sure to herald a mass exodus from the Hawthorns. Mulumbu,Olsson and Odemwinge will be the first out with more to follow. Mr Peace may well have a lot to answer too and we are relegation certainties !
And before anyone tells me he's a great coach we have managed two great seasons so why do we have to settle for an 8th choice coach. Surely there are better candidates.even Villa and Liverpool have nicked up and coming managers.

Believable0 Unbelievable1

No where near 8th choice he was having meetings at the arsenal game with the calibre of managers we have had lately I reckon he fits the bill! Our last two managers the new England boss and before that a champions league winner rangnick brings that same pedigree a champions league semi finalist with schalke and managed quality like Raul. I say bring it on he is known as the 'professor' In Germany and I seem to recall a certain mr wenger being called the same and he was an unknown and we all no what's happened since! I'm not saying we will win leagues etc but we won't be a disaster!! Here rangnick willkommen zu der Albion! Mr peace sign him up and give him transfer support!! COYB

Southampton fans, you lot have to be the most annoying as of yet. You eclipse the cringeworthy Norwich fans and that takes some doing. Dont forget that you Southampton are just seen as a small club who now and again produce a talent and then sell. Your a small annoying selling club. Enjoy your brief time in the prem. From a Tottenham Hotspur fan.

Tottenham's best player happens to be from our academy. So be quiet.

If you are a real Spurs fan you should be thankful to us for giving you Gareth Bale.

The most annoying fans on here are ones like you, who whinge about how small such and such club is for no good reason.

Cool. It used to just be Championship fans who moaned about us. Now its the likes of Celtic, Spurs, Villa, Everton, Stoke, Chelsea.

Who has said that Peterborough have no money to spend? Chairman Darragh Macanthony has said that Darren Ferguson has money to spend on top of what he brings in from the sales of Taylor, Boyd, McCann etc and don't forget Posh are due another payment off Norwich from the sale of Ryan Bennett. Peterborough won't pay massive wages but they can afford the transfer fees, for example didn't they sign Tyrone Barnett for £1.4m. Surprise package in the championship next season, as they will spend big on transfers this summer. The idea that Peterborough are skint is ridiculous and hasn't been said by anyone.

Bigger fanbase than Derby? Don't think so

Brighton bigger than Derby? who were you before you got the new ground !... 1 season in championship and it goes to your head ... you've been in league 1 for god knows how long from a Burnley fan (weve been in the top two divisions for the last 13 years).

For all the people that think Peterborough united don't have money...

Ryan Bennett £3.2 mil
Craig Mackail-Smith £2.3 mil
Aaron Mclean £1.6 mil
Npower League 1 Play-offs £4 mil

= £11.1 mil

Spent money on
Tyrone Barnett: £1 mil
Nicky Ajose £300k
Building of new Away Stand
etc.

So Peterborough have about £7 mil to spend, which means that for all the free agents that Peterborough may sign they can use it for their wages.

So if you think that they can't afford players such as O'Dea and Swanson, think again..

Believable0 Unbelievable6

*sigh* look, you have to be a bit stupid to think that all the money brougt in from transfers goes straight into finds for new players. This isn't football manager!

A message to Huw Jenkins... It has to be Poyet or Karl Robinson. Both play the Brendan way. Would prefer Poyet as he has a bit of Charisma and good knowledge of the game. Rodgers sent his son to Brighton...so that must count for something! All aboard the Gus bus Swans fans

Editor, now that we are in June and all the play-offs finished when are clubs going to be 'placed' in their correct leagues eg West Ham in the Premiership, Charlton in the Championship, Crewe in League One etc ? {Ed001's Note - yes, when we have time, it is hardly a priority!}

as a norwich fan im pretty sick of now all this talk of holt wanting to leave, let him leave we have morrison, vaughn(who is very promising), and jackson still, also norwich are still on the up it does'nt matter if lambert gone there is always someone better, we will survive! we have proven everyone wrong for the last 3 years we can do it again, we have 20mil budget for players, plus who ever the new manager sells, and we have david mcnally who is so set on keeping norwich were they are right now, no worries canary fans, and im sure we will appoint a certain legend or another premier league manager, remember we have been voted number 1 fans in the premier league so lets just keep on going! OTBC!

also kyle naughton did state some months go he did love it here at the club and is enjoying first team football so we might just have a shout at signing him

dani pacheco is an even greater possibility of coming to norwich now as brendan rodgers is liverpool's new manager
my favourite rumour of the week is heskey to norwich brilliant! not .....

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Why does he want to leave ask yourself that along with everybody else you had a 1 off season you won't spend any money so all you can buy is championship players at best so no ambition to go on as for 20 mill to spend no chance not when your millions in debt so let's some it up double relegation to where you belong league 1 again

Agree0 Disagree0

Jackson is on his way out, soon to be followed by morrison and howson, who wants to leave already, lol

Anyone saying coventry will go back up to the championship clearly have never watched us play last season and have no clue of the troubles

If we are still a club next season and sisu dont drain us and leave we will be lucky to get top half

With keogh, cranie, joe murphy, cyrus christie and gael all inevitably leaving they were some of our best players last season and has taken away the most hopeful and best youngsters out of our already minuscule squad

However due to transfer embargo noone will be signed, anyone saying coventry will sign people this will not happen until embargo is lifted

With Robin Van Persie soon to be moving to the Etihad, I believe Arsenal could benefit from this misfortune. I accept RVP has been a Godsend but there are many players who are proven international stars available at this time. It is now recognised that Arsenal are a club who sell their stars Clichy, Fabregas, Nasri, Kolo Toure and Adebayor and before them Henry, Diarra, Ljundberg and Reyes. Lucky for Arsenal that those clubs with unlimited money will be throwing out quality players as they attempt to buy in emerging world stars. Kalou, Bosingwa and Drogba all free transfers and would surely be useful additions to any top flight club needing depth and experience to develop their youth potential. Then add Pogrebnyak of Fulham he is a much better option than Chamakh or Bendtner. With Almunia available on a free perhaps Kuszczak from Man Utd also available on a free and throw Owen in as a reserve striker for free. Lastly there is Hugo Rodallega and Chris Kirkland who are both available for nothing and these two are still both young in their respective positions.

In summary if Arsenal were more realistic with their transfer targets I feel there is enough around to create the depth and quality required to be a force next season. Sure you will need to spend big on a striker and get more depth in midfield and defence, but with a positive outlook it is possible. I however very much doubt that you will accept cast offs and free agents, and you will continue with your dreams of players like Hazard, Hulk, Higuain or Cristiano Ronaldo. This will see RVP leave for around £25m to Man City and face a last minute panic buy which has become the trend of recent years.

I for one hope that the Arsenal board and fans keep this arrogance and panic buy another Mertesaker, Gervinho or Santos. It will be suicide to keep RVP and let him leave for free next season, and I believe top players will want to join a club they seeing as emerging not in stagnant decline. I unlike other Spurs fans commend you on 3rd place, with the squad and resources available you has much less than Tottenham and overcame an 11 point deficit to achieve it. The truth is that whilst I commend you are a club clearly in decline, selling stars, panic buying, losing the tag of a club players wanted to join and holding onto the arrogance of yesteryear.

So my dearest Gooners you have two paths you can follow. Look to remain steadfast that you are a club of equal standing to Real Madrid, Barcelona, Man Utd, Man City, Bayern Munich or Chelsea or accept that you are the Bayern Leverkusen or Braga of the Champions League and set your transfer budget more realistically.

The Oracle

Grant holt is happy at Norwich if they give him a 3yr deal to finish his career there - Norwich have only offered him 2yr - hopefully the new manager will come in and sort it out !! Suddenly the vultures are on the prowl !! Clubs that used to laugh at holt now want him on the cheap !!

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Why does he want out of your little run down joke of a club then is he as happy as lambert was last week and then walked out why can't you see that your a sinking ship going back to where you belong league 1

Lets just move away from the takeover rumours for a minute.
Question are Norwich City bigger than Leeds United, of course they not, when was the last time a Leeds manager was approached, never. Howson, Johnson and the rest of these money grabbing idiots, when are you going to stop letting your agents continue to wipe your arses, what will happen when Lambert goes and Norwich go backwards, that is what is going to happen? Last year at forest Howson kissed our badge, what a two timing greedy idiot, well howson and the rest of you, we never want you back here,McCormak, Snoddy etc, either sign or get out, very simple. this club is in the top 10 clubs in England, players move to Norwich (what a joke). you just watch when Lambert moves to Villa, Johnson and Howson will be holding their hands up for a move to villa, i predict it. We here at LUFC only want players that kiss that badge and really mean it, When we get going with Warnock and the players he brings in play with pride, guts and loyalty, that will happen, all these rats that deserted us can sod off. Please NW any player who hesitates a new contract get shut. kevin

Believable1 Unbelievable4

"Top 10 club in england"? maybe 15 yrs ago..when are you leeds fans gonna realise that your glory days are long gone? another mid-table season for you nxt year..

Agree0 Disagree0

Stop dreaming Leeds. You are a championship club now. Norwich are better than you now, and so are a great deal of championship clubs (around half). Forget the past, you ain't big any more. The reason your good players leave is because you and your useless owner show no ambition. Get used to it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Its a terrible thing jealousy, even Sir Alex says the premiership would be better with Leeds in it,Leeds are still a massive club irrespective of what league were in,so keep supporting your own tin pot teams.

Agree0 Disagree0

You forgot to add the MOT at the end. Or are you one of those Leeds fans who only MOT when you're in the top division and the rest of the time you join the other 15k down the White Rose with the mrs on a Saturday afternoon?

Agree0 Disagree0

I am a norwich fan, and it is easy to see norwich are better in every way passionate players who perform not only for their manager but for the fans, have you ever thought your players leave because leeds fans suck and never fully support their players, we always sell out every game even when we were in league 1, unlike leeds who only sell out when they were in the premier league, history is nothing ny more in todays game its all the abouth the present and this present in time (lol) we are performing and supporting much better than you! OTBC liam

Agree0 Disagree0

Leeds always will be a massive club, soon be back to where we belong , as will small town yokels norwich.Passionate players, lol , holt wants out ,jackson ,morrison going ,howson upset and gonna hand in transfer request, watch this space carrot crunchers as we pass you on the way up MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

Jealous of Leeds? dnt make me laugh! U might as well be Leicester reserves the amount of players u have had off us in recent years!

You have a tight chairman who wont invest and your only 2 decent players will leave....its hilarious that you leeds fans think your gonna win the league coz u now have warnock, no investment no chance....

Reading to be linked with and sign every player in the EPL. By the time September comes, Reading will have the strongest outfit in the EPL welcoming the likes of Rooney, Balotelli, Silva etc to their ranks. Got a sneaky idea these guys are title contenders this year.

Was in the pub last night with my friend who works at Norwich. Incredibly, he claims that there is some suspicion of a full blown romance between Grant Holt and Paul Lambert, with the two seemingly inseperable and embroiled with passionate feelings for.one another.

This is the reason Lambert and Holt have been so quick to demand to leave.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

The reason is your club has no ambition won't pay any money your deluded to think your sign the likes of Rhodes and co, your get relegated next year and then straight back down to league 1 again and you still think everything is Rosey in your little club millions in debt everybody wants out lol

Hello Swansea fans,

LFC Fan here in peace.

Just wanted to say that our new manager
and your former one spoke with grace and
humility today about my club and yours
and really did himself and your club proud.
He was really compilmentary of you guys
and your club in general. I'd also like to
say that your chairman seems throughly
decent and that as a club you handled
the whole thing with style and class, more
so than a certain DW did who just wanted
to get his name in the headlines.

Just thought I'd let you know that you
now have an added admirer to your club,
and strangely not just for your type of
football. Expect to see you in the PL for
a long time yet.

Cheers
Orginal JJ
