Wolves to win the bidding war for Doncaster Rovers Billy Sharp.

Incredibly they are pitching £7m to put the rest into the shade {Ed003's Note - Why on earth would Wolves do that when he has a release clause much lower}

Believable1 Unbelievable0

No way will wolves spend 7 million on billy sharp when he would be behind fletcher and doyle? he's for sale for 3 million.

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought the release clause meant Donny would talk to whoever offered that or above and then go to the highest bidder assuming Billy could agree terms. No?

If I were Mcleish I'd be in the market for a centre-half, centre-mid and a striker. It would be nice to see some quality come into the squad, samba would be good as the offer of 'pretty much' guaranteed premiership football next year may be too much to turn down, but I don't feel we could compete with Arsenal should they decide to bid. Huddlestone would be a valuable addition as he may find it difficult to get back into a settled spurs midfield after injury and a guaranteed starting spot may be attractive to him. Finally up top Zamora and Hooper would be realistic targets as Zamora has fallen out with Jol and Hooper is keen to cross the border, and with favoured Newcastle withdrawing interest in strikers he could well be a reasonable target. To bulk up the rest of the squad young talent such as butterfield, zaha and forrest would be valuable and a good investment in the future. COME ON VILLA!!

I saw Dave Kitson from Portsmouth in HMV in the Harlequin Centre, Watford today. I also heard previously that Sean Dyche was looking to sign an additional Striker after Craig Beattie's loan finishes in January, so it would make sense if he'd been in talks with the club.

Blackpool to bid 1.5 million to bring Barry Bannan back to Bloomfield Road. The midfielder is looking for a fresh start following a difficult 6 months. Aston Villa may be willing to accept this offer should they be succesful in their transfer dealings. If the deal goes through it could be late in the window.

Believable0 Unbelievable4

What a load of dogs b****cks!
blackpool after puncheon on loan from qpr and a cheeky bid for dj .
1.5 million wouldnt even pay 500,000 for him! we have the oystons as are chairman.

Agree0 Disagree4

Puncheon is a Southampton player only on loan at QPR,and could come back with a point to prove which could be good as we are light on right sided wingers

Agree0 Disagree4

And no chance of DJ unless you offer stupid money, only reason he hasn't been playing more is through illness and injury

Agree0 Disagree2

All blackpool will get is loan players , and yes trying for puncheon from soton and trying to get dj from qpr cheeky bid on loan to get him match fit! yes he has been injured . cheeky bid!! get it!

Bet you Blackpool will go back in for Gritthis of Wolves, who they failed to land when he left Dundee. He is on loan at Hibernian, and its up in Jan.Wolves want to part with him.Decent player and young enough to get better,a Scotland under 21 international striker.Ally

how come you always get your facts wrong , we never went for gritthis ,and never will ! shove him back up your scottish loch ness monster girlfriends goldfish,

Blackpool had a bid on the table,so did Norwich for him.And Wolves came in late on,and that is were he went.Blackpool even made a loan bid for him.He choosed to go to Hibs instead.Just like Eion Doyle did.As they are a bigger club, with better staduim and training facilities. And he wants to stay there. If Hibs can come up with £150 000.Plus a per centage sell on in his next move.Steven Crainey plays for you.And he was s**t for Celtic, could not hack the SPL.And he is crap for Scotland to,when ever he is lucky enough to start. And that is down to injuries or suspensions. And it is not a lot.Still he is better than Danny Fox,another guy of similar standing.Who was rank in the SPL.How Celtic got there money back on him.I will never know, but they did.Ally

A new, extra-powerful, sunbed was seen being delivered to Hartlepool United's Victoria Park this morning. Consequently, the odds on former Pools full back Phil Brown returning as boss have been slashed although club insiders claim that they got the sunbed because it was cheap in the sales and refused to comment on rumours about the strangely orange manager.

Simon Church is attracting interest from Norwich, Blackburn, Leicester, Sunderland, Wigan and Swansea. Sunderland is the most likely destination, as it will allow Church to link up with fellow Reading academy strike partners Connor Wickham and Ji Dong-Won. Swansea may also interest the Welsh international, but it is unlikely he would want to reunite with Brendan Rodgers and the club would probably not be able to afford Church's £500k price tag.

Come on, how can you say Swans cannot afford a 500k price tag when they can afford 3.5M for DG... I think you're deluded mate...

Please can the management team of Bristol City look at Rob Hulse at QPR along with Hogan Ephraim who is also at QPR. Hulse could be the physical muscle at Bristol City upfront along Ephraim replacing maynard or on the wing. We need defence cover at the gate, let Pitman run off Hulse and he is the new Maynard.
