The name continually being linked with Leeds is not Jason Pearce from Portsmouth but it is Matt Mills from Leicester. If you remember Neil Warnock was interested in him in January but it faded

Believable0 Unbelievable4

Matt Mills will go to West Ham to replace Faye who is 35 next year

Jlloyd Samuel
Kelvin Etuhu

Believable1 Unbelievable2

Mate Ashdown out of contract, you cant afford to offer him a new one so that wont happen. Halford and Pearce will both leave, i would also imagine Norris and Futacs would also leave. There is no money to buy players, you can have as many loans as you want but you can only play 5 at any one time. you will have to look at your youth team or keep searching fo released players, either way it looks pretty desprate for you dont it?

Agree0 Disagree0

Matt Oakley, former Saints legend going to Portsmouth...?
what is this I don't even

I have it on very good authority that
Liverpool have made an enquiry to
Celtic for versatile defender Charlie
Mulgrew. Lawell is thought to be looking for a fee close to £3 million for the player

Believable0 Unbelievable2

The same mulgrew that couldnt hack it in the championship with wolves hmmm

Portsmouth will re-emerge next season in the same way Wimbledon did. The new name will be simply Portsmouth FC, dropping the city bit from the official name. There will be no further chance of any CVA's. The city council will attempt to lease back Fratton Park funded by the supporters trust and a new community interest company. This will facilitate opportunities for genuine private investors.

This will be announced within a week of the season's end.

Believable1 Unbelievable2

That could be correct - I understand they have made an application to join the Blue square, but that this may be rejected because they have no ground.....lol

A white could be next leeds player too join norwich city . Young defender is class and will play one of big boys one day

Believable4 Unbelievable1

You like signing our cast offs and 'pie in the sky' minded players don't you. Why don't you sign: Smith, Bowyer, Harte, Richardson, Ben Parker, David Lucas, O'Dea, Marques, Elding, Constantine, McSheffery then you can have a team full of former leeds players

Agree0 Disagree0

He is all pace and no substance. I would bet my house that he never plays for one of the big boys.

keith hill out... mick mccarthy in if hel take our wages.. redfearn as assistant...
or redearn as manager if not mick...
barnsley lads.. barnsley team again.. not rochdale reject united

Believable0 Unbelievable2

I know he's your one of your clubs favourites, but do you really want Neil 'Relegation' Redfearn in charge - he made Simon Grayson look marvelous

Agree0 Disagree0

I think you are completely wrong about Keith Hill.He improved Rochdale every single season he was there on virtually no resouces. It is highly probable that Barnsley will improve again next season
under Hill. The smart move is to stick with him.

Agree0 Disagree0

CAN,T keep changing managers but after 50% drop in season ticket sales after 31st may & 12% increase on season ticket prices something will have to happen which could be Hill put on gardening leave to cover his rolling contract?

Billy Kee to leave Burton Albion in the summer for atleast 750K

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Benitez- Man City
Guardiola-chelsea
Mourinho-Liverpool
Moyes-Tottenham
Capello-Real Madrid
Andre Villa Boas-Barcelona

Believable3 Unbelievable5

Although the majority of that is laughable, the most realistic job that will be open in the summer is the Tottenham job if harry leaves for England. And I would expect the replacement to be Brendan Rogers.

hearing today chelsea are
to appeal for terry to lift
the champions league cup
if they win
if terry had a brain and did nt
get sent off against barca
he would play in the final
i hope uefa turn the plea down
also for lampard to say the
foul was nt as bad as it looked
he needs glasses but everyone
sticks up for terry but he got what
he deserved
live with it

Believable4 Unbelievable1

No worries there as because they won't win anyway, looking forward to seeing the tears on the telly

Agree0 Disagree0

It was hardly that bad. All he did was knee him in the back and Sanchez went down like a sack of s***t. It cannot be compared to a head-butt, elbow or punch. Its a red but it's not half as bad as everyone makes out on here. {Ed001's Note - I think the issue is more about the lie he told afterwards, rather than the foul itself.}

Agree0 Disagree0

If a barca player kneed cole or
lampard in the back we
would never hear the end of it
cole is one of the biggest
whingers in football so
dont say he would nt go
down as if he d been hit

with a sledge hammer

two cheats in theche

Agree0 Disagree0

The lie ,he told at half time !
says he run into him! to the pitch side pundit! he told terry at half time , hed watched the replay and should calm dowm ! lying man.. dont mind chelsea.. some great players .. but he is
a cry baby and a toss -pot ! and a lying ;
big time lying ,. big timer lying b**tard !

Jason Pearce and Greg Halford are both targets for Championship Champions Reading

Greg halford? Why would we sign that tool?!? We've had him once and got shot within six months.. The abuse he's had off royals fans since would suggest he'd never come back!!

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Jason Pearce looks almost set to complete his move to Leeds United - SSNs and a few newspapers have already stated this. But i'm not deluded as a Leeds fan that he would go to Reading instead of us if the opportunity came about.

Watford boss Sean Dyche is trying to persuade striker Troy Deeney to stay at the club, who looks like sealing a move to Millwall in the summer.Lions boss Kenny Jackett has been a long time admirerand wants him to partner Andy Keogh up front next season.

Anyone else think Manchester United should go for a Midfielder like Lampard? Such as the likes of Sigursson or Elm? Personally i think thats what were lacking a brilliant passer and got a hell of a shot/cross.

Also get Hazard wrapped up as soon as the season ends. Thanks.

Pompey are in such a bad way that even if they avoid liquidation next month, they face a large points reduction next season as they're unable to come out of administration.

Mass player clear outs are required and little money to bring anyone in means are guaranteed relegation battle again next season - if they're lucky.

The club will hope to make use of the loan market in order to survive next season.

To the 'SO CALLED FOOTBALL FAN' who said "return to cloud cukoo land" on the 'RUMOUR' - Yes ! RUMOUR about Jordan Rhodes being linked to Brighton. You have said this because you 'think' Jordon Rhodes is this class, Lionel Messi type goal machine and because of that he's OBVIOUSLY to good. Thats exactly what people were saying about Mackail-Smith. Rhodes plays League One ! He's good but not brilliant. Theres nothing dilusional about him being linked with Brighton. I suggest you start reading football news and look into other clubs ambitions and state finances and their goals before you start making assumptions that these type of players arnt good enough. COYR {Ed001's Note - I wonder what he would have said beforehand, regarding any rumours about Vicente joining Brighton?}

so many people r talking so much carp on here saying reading will go straight bk dwn, bet they said the same about swansea and norwich. Norwich bought players from the football league and have done well in the premier league so why cant reading.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Its the second season that's the toughest, players start thinking they're too good for the team and try to force their way out, i think Norwich will do ok next season but Swansea will struggle, Rodgers doesn't have a plan b
