Reports of bids of around £12.5m made by Arsenal and Galatasaray for celtic's powerhouse midfielder Victor Wanyama have been confirmed. It was alleged that southampton had agreed a fee with celtic but the kenyan '21 rejected their terms claiming " his agent had advised him to wait until a more better and established club came in for him and that he doesn't want to be fighting for relegation". Galatasaray and the gunners have now taken advantage of the situation and have had their bid accepted although he favours a move to the turkish giants. Reading and Cardiff were also interested but he sees those teams as a drop and wants european football.
on the incoming side, celtic are getting ready to make bids for dundee utd superkid Gary Mckay-steven and Derbies Will Hughes for £1.5m each. The Scottish champions have also made an enquiry about james mcfadden and is available for free. {Ed003's Note - haha £1.5m for Hughes}

Akinfenwa would be a great replacement for Higdon!
Motherwell will sell Hutchinson and buy McManus, Neilsen is close to signing and Gregg Wylde has joined Aberdeen. Motherwell really need to start signing players as we only have 13 players and 4 or 5 of them could be leaving.

What a bloody mess. Sad to call myself a Brighton supporter. Brighton have messed up so badly and have been so unprofessional. All of the hard work that we have built up to. Gus has done so much for the club, I personally feel sorry for him. No one should be sacked on national TV.
Gus has said he will appeal and so he should. Bloom and Barber have truly messed this up.
Brighton need to announce the reasons for the sacking. I will not be surprised if Gus wins his appeal.
I am a season ticket holder for the first time next season. I am so close to demanding a refund.
Not a true supporter then are u
