Omg I 100% hope this rumour is true! He has a great relationship with ainsworth and is also a fan of the club (he said it at an open evening at oxford where I had the privilege of meeting him :D (my girlfriend oxford fan) ) he also been my fave player since he played for Wycombe and I hated it when he left! Rumours that Patterson has signed a contract at Huddersfield are false, this has been posted by a desperate Huddersfield fan who cannot believe they cannot afford the 1. 2M winger, there is also talk that he will not be at walsall all season, he may not be but if he starts like he did last season his price will be 2. 5M. Club Website: Gus Poyet has been informed today by Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club's internal disciplinary panel that his employment has been terminated with immediate effect.
This followed his suspension, an investigation, and a subsequent formal disciplinary process. In line with the club's own procedures, and UK employment law, Mr Poyet now has a right of appeal. As such, the club will make no further comment on this matter or recent LMA statements at this time.
Given the close proximity of the new season, the club will, in conjunction with its board, now seek to appoint an interim manager pending the outcome of a possible appeal. The interim manager will oversee the initial weeks of pre-season preparation alongside the club's existing staff.
The club's first-team players report back as planned for pre-season testing tomorrow, Monday 24th June, with the squad's first technical sessions commencing on Thursday 27th June. The team play Whitehawk on Saturday 6th July and leave for their summer training camp in Spain on 14th July.

west brom will struggle this season if they do not buy any decent players this season I think jeremy pearce needs to break the kitty because we got loads of money but we keep it! we have over achieved these past seasons and we need a good player urgently maybe mbokani defo need a striker.

Paraguayan striker Javier Acuna has confirmed that he has offers to move to England, with Middlesbrough, Nottingham Forest and Middlesbrough reportedly keen.
Acuna is currently on loan with Segunda Liga side Girona, who he has helped to the promotion play-off final against Almeria.
The 24-year-old has spent the last two seasons on loan with Girona, and this season he has caught the eye of a number of clubs with his 18-goal return.
Middlesbrough are one of the clubs known to have been watching the South American closely, whilst Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest, as well as an unnamed Ligue 1 side are also believed to be keen but Middlesbrough are believe to be his first choice and is excited to join club.

At the end of last season it was strongly hinted by both Manager and chairman that we wanted to have our squad for the coming season ready and assembled by 1st July.
A week to go. Are we about to see a flurry of activity? Or are we struggling with some of our targets?
I would imagine we need at least a couple more to join Lovren if we are serious about pushing into the top half. {Ed034's Note - team would help
Saints, wanting and getting are different things. 1st July is not a deadline but an obvious preference. We will struggle with some targets, just as every other club does. No doubts whatsoever, though, that a few more will arrive i. d. c.

I have got to say that West ham buying Andy Carroll is one of the stupidist moves ever made by a club. And now they have to clear out dead wood so they can afford him. Either the chairmen have lost it or Sam Allardyce is out to ruin the club. Its fairly obvious that there are no more pennies available and virtually the entire transfer budget has gone on one player who can't stay fit or avoid injury and isn;t a prolific goalscorer. Surely there must have been better business sense out there Gary hooper and Martin harnik total £14m

Not a rumour, but if Hume is on £6k a week, and PNE pay half when he's been on loan at Doncaster, that means we pay £150,000 a year. Add that saving to a transfer fee of £150,000 and I think that's very acceptable.
