What a load of rubbish Anholt is in talks with Portsmouth. Ipswich don't need another left back we need a right back.

Not sure why so many people are keen that their club be linked with van Aanholt, he was s**te for us (Leicester) last season. Good going forward, forgets to defend though.

offical, leeds have just signed goalkeeper Mickey safe hands horspool from dartford five a side team dumbells. the dumbells went a whole season in goals five-a-side league undefeated with safe hands being one of the best players in the league. horspool at 5'8 and 14 stone is not said to be the normal goalkeeping type but he is brave, good handling and the reflexes of a ninja cat. Horspool hopes to complete the deal tomorrow and quoted to of said 'i have never played in a full size goal or 11 a side rules but how different can it be? horspool is a london based leeds fan and was very happy to sign for his club although he wants to kick ken bates in the nuts. this should stop all silly rumours linking keepers to the super whites

It's going to be a big week for Brighton and Leicester with one or two signings according to those in the know.
So when they first meet in the Championship the sides will line up as follows:

You'll probably find that 90% of the most ridiculous rumours are posted by fans of other sides looking for a reaction - and people like you come along and give them what they want, so next time they'll do it again. I would suggest that the majority of rumours come from fans of the clubs themselves. You can pick off the fabrications because there about about three in as many minutes.The reason why Leicester and Brighton fans have been targeted are because Leicester and Brighton fans are generally coming across as delusional. If I was a Leicester fan, I'd be slightly worried (and not only about my dubious parentage).

You were do so well until that last bit of rubbish, you almost seemed sensible. So why would you be worried then? What in-depth knowledge of Leicester prompts you to say that? (is this the bit where you trot out the 'dodgy thai's' line?)

I have no issue with anyone arguing a logical case but if it's the same tired nonsense relating to a TV programme you watched then i'd suggest you take your head out of your arse. Just been told by a very reliable source, Ken Bates is waiting for the transfer market to work itself into a frenzy. When the dust settles expect to see between 12 and 15 players joining Leeds.

Crystal Palace Transfer Update:

- Antonio Pedroza and his agent will be in talks with Palace next week after impressing Dougie during his trial.

- Crystal Palace are also waiting on Anthony Gardner. Last week Anthony rejected a move to Reading due to they were offering less than Palace, and Anthony hasn't had any other bids sept for Crystal Palace, so will see more movement on Gardner next week.

- Shefki Kuqi has been trainning with the first team, and only will join the club if he takes a massive pay cut.

- Palace Last week signed Jonathan parr for an undisclosed fee from Aalesmand.

- Chris Lines and Morgan Gould transfers to Palace have closed, no movement to be made by Dougie for these two players.

- Rohan Ricketts will NOT be joinning Palace, he has held talks with different clubs in England, but not Crystal Palace.

- Chelsea, Liverpool and Newcastle have been in contact with Palace over a possible move for Nathanial Clyne.

- Liverpool have been in contacted with Crystal Palace over Wilfried Zaha, but nothing so far has been agreed.

from what i have heard mike ashley is a very very generous man, who rewards loyalty, so is it any wonder that due to the hatred newcastle fans are showing him, he is not to keen to splash the cash, i think if we were right behind him, he would be more likely to bring in a berbatov/defoe, dont forget he saved us from going bust, and we soon be a solvent club, apparently we are very close to getting erdinc, its all been delayed by a greedy agent, also we are still in for nzogbia........TOON TOM

im writing in support of maximus...im a blackpool fan too n i have the same thing happen to me...some definate bias on here {Ed025's Note - as far as i am aware...there is no bias towards blackpool..in my opinion it is a great place! and last year they were a breath of fresh air, to the premier league, they play very attractive attacking football, and have a witty charesmatic manager, it was also great to see hoards of tangerine supporters at visiting grounds......some people might see it different.... and thats their opinion...but you can tell maximus from me...abuse...be it racial..sexist.. ageist..or in any other form will not be tolerated on this site.

Mate, i think everyone got abuse off that maximus on here, how you can support him i dont know. The ED is right, he would start an arguement in an empty room.

Maximus is a typical keyboard warrior, quite happy to be big and brave so long as there's a keyboard in front of him and he can remain anonomous.
