Loving the life of a saint. All who wanna dis can but we aint bought loads and who made that up is truely jealous. A team that is a team not individuals try to make a quick pound, that love football. Hat off saints as very proud for what you stand for. Oh for all you chairmen look at how a club should be run.

I support a different Championship and can spell and punctuate perfectly. Such is life, I'll accept mediocrity and non-webbed fingers.

Chelsea fans are up in arms at plans to knock down Stamford Bridge and relocate to a bigger stadium , a fan's spokesman raged ! You cant just bulldoze 8 years of history !

Southampton fc have submited plans to expand st marys to 50,000 seats. The work will be carried above the kingsland and itchen stands. It is estimated a total cost of 2.4 mil to complete the works. The club will be able recoup the cost through extra sales as demand increases for tickets

Believable0 Unbelievable2

Yes. As demand increases to 50,000 people. What next, Championship big boys? Automatic seeding for the World Cup?

Agree2 Disagree1

Mr Saints fan, firstly congratulations on your start to your season, and I believe you will get promotion, but to extend your stadium from what 30/32k ish to 50k I would have thought would cost a lot more than £2.4m ?

Mr Roller Coaster

Agree0 Disagree0

Another bunch of dreamers. When will Saints "fans" learn.

Agree1 Disagree1

This Saints fan has no idea whether the plans have been submitted or the cost but the expansion to 50000 is our ambitious chairman's stated intention. It won't happen without promotion and the comments about the World Cup etc. are just pathetic, ignorant jealousy.

Agree0 Disagree2

50,000 seater??? Have they attracted 50,000 people over their last 20 games? I nearly split my sides ha ha ha, 5,000 maybe, 50,000? Wake up and smell the coffee you mug

Agree0 Disagree2

55726 in the last 2 Championship games at St Marys. I suggest you drink something stronger than coffee to drown your jealousy

Agree1 Disagree0

Loving the fact whenever one of my fellow Saints supporters posts anything on this site all you jealous fans jump on the band wagon and try and have a pop. Well we don't actually give a f**k what you think so carry on losers.

STID.

why are donny one of the favourites to go down when we have a good new manager with winning momentum and there are teams like coventry, watford, millwall and barnsley who are carp

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Haven't donny lost their last couple of games? {Ed003's Note - Very interesting piece on Donny in the mail today,

Because the no transfer rule only applies down to Blue Square Premier league. Dartford are in the league below this - i.e. Blue Square Southern, so players can now be signed permanently from teams in this league.

Spoke to a couple of colleagues today regarding vacant position at St Johnstone. They are definetly looking for a young manager , with similar work rate and ethics as Derek Mc. Possibly the under rated Brian Reid is the one to watch with his limited spending power has made some excellent signings and taken some big guns down this season. Also dont forget the out of work managers like Jefferies but St J being a young club dont see this happening.

my dad is a builder and he is not building a house for David Beckham. Unfortunatley, his move to Birmingham was cancelled as he refuses to play his football anywhere near the sty (villa park) the smell is unbareable and the thought of him catching foot and mouth was too much for posh spice so she put the brakes on the move. Gutted!

Agree1 Disagree0

I have everyrite to have my head up my arse im a saints season ticket holder and im loving it ,top of the league , bet you would have it up your arse 2 if u were top , how much have we spent so far this season not much we have 4 new players from last season . we are not leicester or west ham we dont chuck cash at players we have team spirit COYR

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree with Maximus' general sentiment but Reading's away results are better than home. They've gone unbeaten for 6 games but with over 4000 noisy Saints fans making it feel like a home game, I think that run will end. God, I wish I hadn't said that!

Agree0 Disagree0

Maximus : You were RIGHT so RIGHT - God damn you!

Since the 70's, which three strikers have had the most prolific season? I.e dixie dean hit 60 in one season!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Clive allen 49 goals, ian rush 47 goals and ronaldo hit 41 (might be a goal or two out but pretty sure)

Neilos

Agree0 Disagree0

Steve Bull scored 52 goals in season 1987/88 in a lower league but still a fantastic achievement.

Agree0 Disagree0

Steve bull also scored 50 in the following season
