Sturrock isnt going anywhere.

He is dedicated to stay at Southend and get the team promoted and push on from there.

The club gave him a chance when no one else would, he knows he owes the club.

Versatile Defender Gary Doherty will be signing for spurs on a coaching contract. It is believed that Harry Redknapp wants him as a defensive and offensive coach as he has many years of experience under his belt of playing as both an influencial Centre Half for Charlton and Norwich and his striker days at spurs.
Chris Powell gutted to be losing his commanding centre back.

Spoke to Docherty about this (at Charlton's training ground Sparrows Lane) after hearing it also, he wouldn't give too much away apart from that big Harry Redknapp has contacted him.....

Spoke to Gary 5 minutes ago, he said he speaks to Redknapp quite a lot as they have some of the same friends etc, he hasnt spoken about coaching. He will only move once he hangs up his boots, if he goes to another club in a coaching capacity it will be when he cant play anymore. He hopes he has another 2 seasons after this one, fitness permitted!

He is only 31 years old, does he even have his coaching badges?

Good wind up this one - Doherty time at Norwich, Calamity Jane springs to mind, the master of the mistimed tackle, take the player cause u are 2 slow to take the ball.

Oxford United are to put in a cheeky bid for Oliver Rissier in January.

They also hope to pounce for a number of unsatisfied Swindon players, as rumours of squad discontent mount at The County Ground.

Kevin Blackwell will tomorrow be interviewed for the Portsmouth job, the new board at Pompey saw how well he did at Sheffield Utd in taking them down last season and are keen for him to do it again, this time with Pompey.

liverpool should go for hazard any chance

Believable0 Unbelievable2

Hazard won't go to analfield as he wants european football and a chance of winning trophies

Liverpuddle are a small club now who can't attract the big names anymore.

Agree2 Disagree0

Whaat? They "attracted" Charlie Adam!

Agree1 Disagree1

I wouldnt say Charlie Adam was a big name among the premier league elite would you?

Agree1 Disagree0

No i wouldnt. It was a joke mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ha, good one! I wish i could say the Belgian Beer consumed in Brugge was to blame, but that was after. Great result for BCFC in Brugge last night, buzzing, but my head hurts!

Loving how quiet the crisp munchers are now after the 'we're going to be the team to beat pre season speech'!
10 mill well spent AGAIN sven!

Believable3 Unbelievable0

I am not a great Sven fan, took the England sqad backwards but Leicester will not be far away at season end, he has paid over the odds with both fees and salaries, however if you throw enough resources at the problem eventually it will come good, even if you coaching ability is crap.
West Ham and Southamption for top 2 but I still believe Leicester will make the playoffs, however no guarantee they can win it...

Agree0 Disagree0

Sven was a great England Manager, look at his recrd compared to those before and since.

I think that Jose Mourhno should be Man Utd next manager for life.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Why, so he can poke Wenger in the eye?

Saints fans, i bring news on the Leicester fan that went Awol.

I saw him coing out of St. Andrews on Sunday crying.

Shame his team couldnt beat mine. Birmingham have almost a youth squad with about 5 of the 16 man squad that lifted the Carling Cup at Wembley. Saints anaged to beat us, you lot are looking very strong, my favourites to win it if im honest.

Leicester, on the other hand, are garbage.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Oh come on leicester aint that bad , decent rugby team and really nice crisps !
birmingham win there games in hand ,they will be up there this year!
well done the saints ,keep it going ,
blackpool were poor last nite ,but we scraped a win.still think 8th 9th or 10th for us, in a very tight league !

You'd be doing a lot worse and we would be doing much better if our owner didnt make us get rid of our players. Barry Ferguson and Kevin Phillips will bring a lot in this league. Shame we had to get rid of Garnder, Bowyer, Jerome, Larsson, Dann, Johnson, Foster, Jiranek, nd not forgetting the loan players. Our squad isnt big enough to challenge this year i dont think, although our fully fit first 11 is as good as any in this league in my opinion. We need a takeover or it might be some time until we see the premier legue again.

Alex McLeish will not stop until he removes Birmingham from the Premier League all together. His first assignment BCFC went last season and he is currently working on assignment 2, Aston Vile Football Club.

The midfield has NO creativity, Their defence is old and haggered and the only plus is that Given has been so good, which shows you what? that their goal is being pummelled?

One up front at home, no creativity, dodgy defenders and an unhappy Darren Bent.

Not a lot to sing about is there, althouth they only have one song and it only comes out after a goal! So we wont be hearing that too much this season.

Enjoy the Cold Winter Vilers, it might be your last at this level for a while!

VILLLA ARE DOING WELL AND PLAYED WITH 3 UPFRONT L;AST GAME BENT AGGIE AND HESKEY SO SHUP HA

Agree0 Disagree0

^^ No wonder they are doing so bad with Villa fans who cant even write properly.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah, won 2 out of 8 and the only real team theyve played is Man City. Failed to beat Newcastle and Wolves at home and Fulham and QPR away. Out of the Carling cup to a Bolton Reserve team and Playing Yaomsawhore and Heskey out wide means 451, not 433. McLeish lays not to lose, he dont play to win, and thats why your so shocking. But you still think you're doing well?

You Irons have turned into a long ball team and you were lucky to get away with a 1-0 loss, if Nolan played as much as he moaned he would be a world beater...COYR
