To the guy who took exception to my "essay", clearly one paragraph in you mind is an essay! Having an I.Q above 45 meant I was able to type that up in 2 minutes, so boredom certainly not an issue for me my intellectually challenged friend. Southampton have moved on from hooper, they have now turned there focus to Simon cox. Hooper has made it clear he doesn't want to move on so cox is now the prime target.

The only other possible signing is a right back as without Richardson saints lack much cover apart from butterfield who hasn't featured much because of injury, jack cork has filled in here but is best in his midfield role. Harding has also featured at right back but with jack Stephens on the verge of breaking into the first team a right back MAY not be a major issue

celtic and rangers beat the teams that are put in front of them. The SPL isnt a strong league but Hooiveld who southampton have just signed couldnt handle the SPL but looks decent in the Championship. Celtic are huge compared to Southampton and Hooper would be stupid to go to a club who may not even get promoted this season!

Not gonna argue about your comments re Hooper but you never gave Jos a chance! You paid a reported £1.8M for him then played him on 8 in & out times over 12mos before loaning him out to FC Copenhagen. He looked a little dodgy when we first played him but 23 games and 3 goals later and yes, he looks decent alright! You sold him to us for a reported £750K and Lennon described it as 'good business'. Ha!
