Ed or anyone, how good is that ruiz from fc twente? I aint seen much of him he looked ok but nothing special and he keeps reminding me of samaras lokj. {Ed001's Note - I have to say I am not impressed by his play at all, he looks extremely average to me.}

Southampton are now in talks over changing there kit colour from red and White to the beautiful claret and blue and changing there stadium name to turf moor. It is quite clear the southamptons fans won't care as they are clearly thick as they call Burnley rubbish but think they are better by taking there team...
Don't think your going up cause they have already proven they can't win promotion and that's why were getting a nw team.....

I am hearing that Tottenham are ready to do a player swap deal in order to get Odemwingie in before the end of the transfer window. They are offering Peter Crouch in exchange for West Broms Peter Odemwingie. No cash will change hands.

Not a bad deal for albion that - he would be a great partner for Long. {Ed025's Note - long + very long..

So that makes Odemwingie worth in effect £9-£10m ? Nonsense. Think Crouch will stay where he is. Why drop down to go to WBA?

You could argue that Shane Long had a poor goal to appearance ratio before last season, It comes down to the fact that Jay is much younger and has potential to grow into a bigger and better player. Also if your using those stats to make out that Jay-Rod is poor. What about Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain? He was bought for that price because of his age and potential just like Jay will go for a high price because of his age and potential

My understanding what that Southampton paid all debts fully, having rearranged the mortgage. It was never anything like what Portsmouth owed just a smallish overdraft.
Portsmouth's creditors agreed to take 20p in the pound. Why? I don't know, it should never have been allowed. And, don't forget that they owed the government huge amounts. So effectively they stole from you and I basically to get the FA Cup.

HOWEVER, HMRC (The Government) wanted Portsmouth to go into Liquidation, in which case they would have received NOTHING. They got a better deal with the CVA.

JayRod is too good for Southampton - he should wait until a Premier League club comes in for him like Wigan or Bolton.

JayRod wants to join Saints because he knows they are going to walk the league with more than 100 points and take the Premier League by storm next season

Portsmouth are paying back a record amount for any sports club going into admin. Southampton paid back a penny to the pound, so both teams are as bad as each other , both clubs still owe the company i work for money from previous debts etc. Just both get on with your seasons and be glad the football on the south coast in general is looking up.

how good did man city look?? its chelsea 2005-2006 all over again,i seriously dont think anyone can stop them,united's midfield isnt good enough,goalie looks dodgy,and they really do rely too much on rooney,chelsea? good defence,but they lack pace in midfield and creative match winners,as for the rest? i wont waste anymore of your time.
