all the people saying celtics time in champions league will be short lived atleast we can even get IN the champions league nowadays....celtic would be a mid team table in barclays premier league for the first few years while the got comfortable, just remember we were the first british team to win in europe guys

Believable1 Unbelievable6

Mid table in the prem considering you'll have to start in league 1 if you joined OUR league, just because Scotland has no good football, you would be a playoff championship team AT MOST

Agree0 Disagree0

Ha the spl is a total joke! Celtic would get done over by most championship teams. You have one good player in hooper, all the rest are average. You are in the champions league, but how long for? Oh yes, that's it, you will get knocked out in the qualifiers (before the group stages) as you do EVERY YEAR! (and then get destroyed in the group stages of the Europa)

Agree0 Disagree0

You might as well be given an automatic entry into the CL. In fact, i bet your chances of qualification every year are better than any other club in Europe. You won't ever be invited into the epl.

Agree0 Disagree0

Actually spurs were the first team to win a european trophy, cup winners cup 1963

I am a Glaswegian Celtic fan, now living outside Paris near Troyes, France. and the local newspaper L'Express reported today that Crystal Palace have made an offer for newly promoted, ESTAC (Troyes) attacking midfielder Mounir Obbadi, who has scored 5 goals this season. It also says they became aware of Obbadi whilst following up on a former Crystal Palace trialist, forward S?©bastien Grax, though no offer for him has been lodged...... don't shoot the messenger {Ed013's Note - So why is your IP address from Goole, East Yorkshire!}

After seeing city win the title I think that united need to bring in a few good signings. This would be my transfer targets. I am not saying we should purchase them all and i know they come with high prices but this is whom i think we should look at and i think we should also look at selling or loaning some people out to make space for some of this talent.

*Mat Hummel's - Experience winning titles as he has done it back to back with Dortmund and is already an international

*Jordi Alba - would be a great young replacement for Evra. We need to move in and get this deal done before barca have a chance tho

*Kyle Walker - If spurs dont make champ league then i think we should defo move for him, if not then i think we should leave this spot for Rafeal and Jones as i think they are both great players.

*Kagawa - Another player with back to back experiance with dortmund

*Kroos or Ganso - Ganso tipped to be a huge star and is putting in some great performances at Santos and Kroos already looks like a developed player who could fit into united

*Lucas Moura - Carrying a high price tag from what iv read but if tipped to be the next biggest player to neymar coming out of brazil. He could be out ronaldo who we have not replaced and missed since selling

*robert lewandowski or Wolfswinkel - Didnt really want to name a striker as i think Rooney, Welbeck, Hernandez and Berbatov are all quality match winning strikers but if berb is sold we possibly should look into one of these

Also we all know how good of a player Messi is so when a 18yr old is walking round tipped as the next messi (Juan Manuel Iturbe) maybe we should look at bringing him in for a trial and seeing about adding our own messi to the squad.

Believable1 Unbelievable2

Seems like alot of money but if city are doing it then why shouldnt we

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Go on Yahoo and watch the Worst Shots of the Season video.
Holt is on there 3 times! We don't want him at the Euros thanks.

Agree0 Disagree0

Basically even if you play in the premiership on a weekly basis but for a lesser team you stand very little chance of being selected because the managers are afraid of the press and the stick they will receive if that player flops. Pick somebody from a top six club then it doesn't mahtter if they flop, the manager won't get the same criticism. For instance , I couldn,t imagine Danny Welbeck getting anywhere near an England shirt if he played for Norwich. In my opinion one of the best midfielders this season has been Mark Davies of Bolton but do you think he's going to get a look in? no chance.

Would just like to say well done to Swansea, Norwich & QPR for avoiding relegation from the Premier league this season....well done to all of those people who had that right in their start of season predictions (ED ...I bet there wasn't one!)
I am a Swansea fan and although not as comfortably as they did I was always confident that they could avoid relegation, I also knew that Norwich were a very good side before making some very good acquisitions in the transfer market, I expected QPR to have performed slightly better because of the coin, but they stayed up never the less.
Now for all of those people who feel the urge to make their predictions for next season, most of whom have not known life outside the premier league, or have very short memories and think that their club immediately develop world class pedigree, here is a little tip watch more championship football, it's of my opinion (feel free to agree/disagree) that the bottom ten in the premiership are hardly, if any better than the top ten of the championship and any club coming up will be no pushover, I firmly believe that the three clubs coming up Reading, Southampton & west ham/ Blackpool have more to offer than the clubs that have just gone down (o.k. I think Bolton are better than they have shown but over the season they have been Siht) quite happy that Pratley has gone back to the championship, apparently it was not about the money just wanted a fresh challenge, well that didn't last long did it Darren? Pretty similar with De Vries...it was not about the money (wolves apparently offered four grand a week more) it was down to the fact that wolves were an established Premier league club so he wanted to keep their bench warm? And after watching his last few performances he may struggle to get a game in the Championship even if Hennessey goes!
Well that's enough of my Gloating so as I said Well done to Swansea QPR and Norwich and all of the best to the Three sides coming up, sorry to all west ham fans but I'm rooting for Blackpool!, come on Dobbie do the Bizz, I hope you sign for Blackpool and have a good season in the Premier league, because you deserve it, you know all of the Swansea fans love you but it just haven't happened for you and I don't think anybody knows why? You've always given 110%.

Although the Oxford support is split over Wilder there is no chance of him going anywhere! The board admit they cannot afford to get rid of him and they don't want to anyway. The are confident that he will ensure they will stay in League Two. He will however have to try and work wonders in the transfer market as very few funds are available. They are trying to keep as much cash as possible because they are aware that another drop into the Blue Square will all but finish the club. Although they won't admit it yet to the supporters but if they don't stay up there will be very little chance of bouncing back for a long time. If they go down again there will be very little prospect of retaining many senior players.
