just read the huddersfield local paper nearly fell off my chair laughing, beckford could miss the leeds match it proclaimed! lol well he has missed most games since larry brought him in as an old mate, if ever a player deserved the song what a waste of money he is that player. he might be fit enough to go on holiday in the summer,

Malky MacKay has been ordered to sign a defensive midfielder on loan in order to allow Whittingham to play further forward, by owner Vincent Tan. Tan believes whitts has the best shot on him and he has recently said in an interview that he wants his side to shoot more, as Cardiff's struggle to find the back of the net freely continues.

If Burnley fail to beat arch-rivals Blackburn Rovers on Sunday, Burnley will terminate the contract of Sean Dyche, Ian Woan and Tony Loughlan. Sean Dyches replacement is yet unknown but Burnley will draw up a short list with Crewe Alexandra's Steve Davis, Brian McDermott, Owen Coyle and Nigel Adkins on it.

Believable2 Unbelievable5

At the start of the season I believed that Sean Dyche had been unfairly treated by Watford's new owners. They have however been proved right.

Under the tenure of Eddie Howe, Burnley were an inconsistent team, but they were entertaining and trying to win their matches. They were among the top scoring teams in the division, with the highest goal scorer in Charlie Austin.

Under Sean Dyche the object of is not to lose, which they appear to fail to do on many occasions and the entertainment level as dropped to abysmal. On current form Burnley would be relegation candidates if it was not for the points earned prior to Sean Dyche taking over as manager.

I do not expect the Burnley board to terminate his contract as this would mean paying out compensation.
