With Brian McDermott saying on SSN that Mariappa will complete on his move from Watford on Monday and that he's also very close to completing another signing, a target he's been working on for weeks, maybe this is the Jordan Rhodes deal finally nearing it's end. From Huddersfield to Reading by the end of next week?

Believable2 Unbelievable6

He would never sign for a small club like reading

Agree6 Disagree3

Yes because Huddelsfield are way bigger than Reading

Agree0 Disagree2

Rhodes scored a high number of goals in league one, there is no way he will make the transition to the premier league. Reading are on there way to making a name for themselves and are a team to watch in the future I believe, showing serious intent

Left back Davis, centre backs Worley and Duberry, Whing and midfielder Leven are all out for a minimum of a month!
New Chairman Ian Leneghan has pumped money into the wage budget to cover the injuries.
3 more players expected to sign before the season. 2 centre midfielders and a right back

Find this very hard to believe as McDermott has clearly stated he isn't interested in Connolly. We don't want those players and 5 mill would be a complete joke of a bid. I rate none of them...

Bournemouth boss Paul Groves defends club spending
Bournemouth manager Paul Groves has defended the club's spending policy, after completing another signing.

On Thursday, Bournemouth signed Miles Addison, and only last week it emerged the club have borrowed £6m from a company run by co-owner Maxim Demin.

But Groves does not think the board are putting the club in financial jeopardy.

We shall wait and see shall we......

Hello eds. Been watching dis site. Great work guys. I'm a liverpool fan in Nigeria and will like to know about texteria, will he be making the first team this season? And bdw the confirmed transfers and d members pages av not been updated for a while.
March29 YNWA {Ed001's Note - sorry mate, the confirmed transfers and members pages are just having to be left because no one has time to update them at the moment. I did say it would end up like this, but the other eds were sure they could keep them updated so I was over ruled! Teixera has every chance of getting some first team football next season, provided he can stay fit.}

Having seen Mccartney when he played for us, he would struggle against Heskey and Giggs never mind Valencia and Walcott.

Ex Bristol City player David Clarkson is on trial with the Gas to see if he is good enough for them. What a insult that must be for the player it would be like Lionel Messi having a trial to see if he's good enough for Wycombe

Believable1 Unbelievable1

DC is using the time to get fit , is good friends with Mark McGhee who has been very open in saying " He is not on trial ".

We would welcome him with open arms, would be the signing of the season if we get him.

Agree0 Disagree1

Well since Clarkson hardly proved himself as being any good at Bristol City, it's no surprise, is it?

Deals for
Krystian Pearce - Notts County (fee)
Garry Kenneth - Dundee Utd (free)
James Caton - Bolton (free)
Conor Sammon - Wigan (loan)
Paul Coutts - Preston (fee)

These will be Derby County signings this summer. Not much to spend and wages won't be that high. Apart from Kenneth, who is a main target but other clubs are interested, all players will definitely sign. I have good sources so watch this space. No more players will be signed. Expect all these players, apart from Kenneth, still a good chance he will sign though.
