Burnley have suffered a massive blow with Danny Ings having torn cartlidge in his knee and it being announced he will miss up to 3-6 months. Ings finished last season with a flurry andlooked really sharp pre-season again scoring goals.
Eddie Howe is now looking to bring a young PL player in on 6 month loan deal to compliment Charlie Austin, Martin Paterson and Sam Vokes.
Eddie Howe has said there will not be a loan signing because the directors say there is no more cash available - might sell Austin so they can bring in another striker and a much-needed midfielder to boost the Clarets threadbare squad.

Brentford have agreed a deal to sign Millwall defender Scott Barron, with the deal to be completed once he has passed a medical.
The Bees confirmed the 26-year-old was due at Griffin Park on Monday afternoon to complete the move.
Barron, who can also operate in midfield, scored three goals in 133 appearances after switching to The Den from Ipswich in 2007.

Ebanks Blake was championship top scorer twice...and Doyle got 18 for Reading in 2008. Both of them struggled in the Premiership...but this is the Championship. I can see our strikers getting 30 easy. It's defenders we need.
