Watford have quite a few strikers this season, but only about 3 will be in 1st team: Deeney, Acuna and forestieri however (i'm an arsenal fan) and lived around waford for abit and went to a fair amount of the games so I know abit. Any championship side should look at Chuba Akpom on loan from Arsenal he scored 21 goals in 36 matches which includes england u19's, u21 premier league and the next gen series (u18's version of champions league) Chuba was arsenals top scorer in the next gen and arsenal got to the semi's. I know watford have got a lot of strikers but I can imagine most will be loaned or put into u21's. But I've seen chuba play a lot and he is definetely championship quality, he's worth a try on loan.

It sounds unlikely but could Gareth Barry be making a return to Brighton & Hove Albion? The midfielder appears to be on his way out of Manchester City and Brighton could be his next club, possibly as a replacement for Liam Bridcutt.

Also it looks likely that Swindon are going to let Alan Navarro leave after bids from port vale and Rotherham.

Aaron McLean could return to Peterborough United if they can afford his wages. Scott Wootton could also return to London Road for around 300-350k, and Davide Petrucci may also go back to the league one club on loan

According to tv, Coventry City defender Cyrus Christie is being tracked by Stoke, Crystal Palace, Huddersfield Town, Derby County and Ipswich Town.
Coventry are battling to keep him but due to financial problems are facing the possibility of being without him this season.
The 20-year-old, who has come through the ranks at Coventry, has made 79 appearances for the League One club, scoring three goals.
As a Huddersfield fan, I would welcome him being signed but realistically if Stoke or Crystal Palace come in for him, I cannot see him turning them down for us.

Pleased Martin Fillo has signed on loan for the season, Uwe Rosler rates him highly sound's like a good replacement for Forrester looking forward to seeing him and the another signing's when we play Celtic, now all we need is Harlee Dean to sign he's contract extension and one more central defender.

The tv Sport website has said that Albert Adamoah's agent has released a statment saying that Albert will be putting in a transfer request today after Bristol City blocked two bids last week.
This will certainly draw interest from Crystal Palace, Wigan, Swansea, Cardiff, Derby, Middlesbourgh, Burnley, and (as standard) Ipswich.
City are saying they will only sell him if their valuation is met, and that we want to keep him. (Which we wont).

As a die hard West ham fan the thought of us being interested in any spuds players is hard to take. Thoughts of Robbie Keane and how bad he played for us in our relegation season still linger. However, Andres Villas Boas has said the following are surplus to requirements: Jermain Defoe, Emmanuel Adebayor, Scott Parker, Tom Huddlestone, Iago Falque, Andros Townsend, Beniot Assou-Ekotto, Bongani Khumalo and goalkeepers Heurelho Gomes and Brad Friedel. Surely, Townsend would be a good shout and at the right price Parker and Defoe wouldn;t be a bad call either (Ok, so they both left us but let's be realistic about this)
I think you may struggle to meet the wage demands for the majority of those mentioned, mainly due to Carroll costing 15 million and refusing to budge from his 100k a week
