Yeovil have approached former England goalkeeper Tim Flowers to become their new manager. Flowers is currently boss of Conference side Solihull and could be appointed at Huish Park before the end of the month in time for the transfer window.

18 May 2019 18:29:48
Can't see him wanting to leave his base in the Midlands.

You are more likely to get Brian Tinnion from Bristol City.

08 Apr 2019 09:56:43
Yeovil will appoint former Briantree manager Bradley Quinton as their new boss on a two year deal.

14 Jun 2016 17:54:11
AFC Wimbledon will imminently confirm the signing of Billy Knott on a free transfer. Knott was recently released by Bradford City. The former Chelsea and West Ham youth player joined the Dons on loan from Sunderland in 2012, and was the Dons' Young Player of the Year for the 2011/ 12 season, despite only joining them in January of that year. The Dons will bring him in to provide competition at left midfield and for the central midfield positions.

Wimbledon are also considering making a move for former academy player Luke Gambin, who starred for Barnet at left midfield last season. Sutton-born Gambin recently broke into the Malta national team, and will hope to cement a place in the team as Malta head into a World Cup Qualifying group that includes Scotland and England. Gambin would be brought in to replace Sean Rigg who is on his way back to the South West of England, with Cheltenham and Yeovil both interested in signing the Gloucester-born wide midfielder. However Rigg may drop to the non-league to sign for Forest Green Rovers, where he spent some time as a youth player.

Wimbledon striker Adebayo Azeez will sign a 6 month loan deal with Dagenham and Redbridge in the coming months. Azeez went on loan to the Daggers in 2014, scoring 3 times in 15 appearances. The recently-relegated Daggers host the Dons in a pre-season friendly in late July, and it is likely Azeez will join them soon after that friendly game.
The Dons will hope that some consistent game time will sharpen up the pacy striker who struggled to finish his chances at the back end of the 2015/ 16 season.
AFC Wimbledon will give trial to powerful striker Uche Ikpeazu over pre-season period, as they look to complete their young strike force for next season. The former Watford player gained plenty of experience in League One over the last two seasons with Crewe, Doncaster, Port Vale and Blackpool. Although he is very strong, he admittedly possesses only a slight amount of the strength of departing Adebayo Akinfenwa, but Ikpeazu can provide a lot more speed in attack.

01 Dec 2015 14:22:33
Yeovil Town have made an approach for their former manager and current Cheltenham Town manager Gary Johnson.

26 Jun 2015 13:58:45
Joel Grant set to sign for AFC Wimbledon today or middle of next week. Ex Yeovil Town wide man is without a club since his release and is said to have accepted an improved offer from Neal Ardley.

Danny Shittu is also currently deciding whether to sign for the Dons. The stumbling block could again be wages as the Dons Hierarchy refuse to pay the higher wage demands and have already missed out on 3 high profile signings.

28 Jun 2015 23:13:27
Sounds like good news on both.
Any idea who the two strikers are?

Cheese = Luton in the conference.Glad you are not in charge of the fixtures.

15 Jun 2015 16:46:39
Cheese. How are Luton still in the Conference?.

They finished 8th in League 2 last year!

15 Jun 2015 17:00:42
Ah, just wishful thinking!

15 Jun 2015 17:30:49
C Palace, Millwall and charlton all 3 south london clubs all playing away on the same day meaning all playing at home on the same day. I don't think so.

15 Jun 2015 18:56:16
Whether these fixtures are correct or not, Luton Town are in League 2 (finished 8th last season).

Derby County and Nottingham Forest wouldn't both be playing at home

16 Jun 2015 10:26:48
Conclusively wrong as proven by fixtures

16 Jun 2015 18:25:41

16 Jun 2015 20:23:07
Very inaccurate.

18 Jun 2015 10:01:08

07 Jun 2015 19:53:13
Plymouth Argyle's Tyler Harvey is interesting clubs in both leagues 1 and 2, Hearing that Swindon and Southend both intrested as well as recently relegated Yeovil. However Yeovil likely to want him to make a decision very soon. Presumably Harvey waiting to find out who the new Argyle manager will be.

02 Jun 2015 13:15:07
AFC Wimbledon are looking to sign Adam Legzdins and Connor Clifford in the next week.

Adebayo Akinfenwa is yet to sign his new contract with Wimbledon. He is currently touring the USA and is looking likely to move to LA Galaxy, to link up with his hero Steven Gerrard. Akinfenwa believes that he will get work in Hollywood, as he begins to forge a career in media and film. The Beast won almost all the Player of the Year awards at the Dons last season, and would be a big loss. Wimbledon are already looking at bringing in striker Ryan Bird, released by Cambridge.

Wimbledon look set to lose young goalkeeper James Shea who is likely to complete a move to Brentford before the start of the season. Shea was outstanding for the Dons last term. After arriving from non-league Harrow Borough he was expected to provide backup to Ross Worner, but he outshone him and ultimately forced him out of the club. Wimbledon will hope Legzdins or another goalkeeper will be able to replace him.

Wimbledon are also looking to complete deals with free agents Joe Martin (Gillingham), Ben Tozer (Northampton), Joel Grant (Yeovil), Lewis Montrose (York) and Joe Partington (Bournemouth).

05 Jun 2015 10:25:29
Akinfenwa will re sign for wimbledon but is taking his time. Most of the above players hold no truth. Sorry X.

19 May 2015 10:57:08
Ex Bristol City Goalkeeper Dave Richards is a target for a number of league 2 and non league clubs, including Cheltenham Town, Yeovil Town, Grimsby Town and Weston-super-Mare

13 Jan 2015 09:43:54
Yeovil look set to beat Plymouth Argyle to the loan signing of Bristol City midfielder Bobby Reid. Bristol were thought to be reluctant to let Reid join a League 1 club, but having reconsidered, they are willing for him to join Yeovil, in hope he'll be able to help them take points off their competitors and they feel it will benefit his development more than him returning to Plymouth.

12 Jan 2015 14:05:59
2 new players set to join Yeovil on loan on Thursday. One of them believed to be François zoko.

22 Jan 2015 10:52:56

02 Oct 2014 12:51:38
Yeovil are being linked with a loan move for Manchester City youth striker jordy hiwula

09 Sep 2014 18:32:18
AFC Wimbledon are front-runners to tie up a deal for Southport's marauding full-back David Fitzpatrick. The player has been on trial at the League 2 club, and appeared in their development squad match against Leyton Orient.

Wimbledon are also hoping to conclude a deal for an attacking player in the next week, with Yeovil's Joel Grant the main target. Grant needs -match practice before he is ready to return to League One action. Having fully shaken off the ligament damage that kept him out of action for pre-season, enough to earn him a spot on the bench on the weekend, a short term deal could beneficial to both clubs, and the player as well.

10 Sep 2014 04:49:50
Correction - Wimbledon were in for Southport's David Fitzpatrick in the summer, but have now ended their chase for him. The David Fitzpatrick currently at AFC Wimbledon is an ex-QPR youngster.

24 Sep 2014 15:54:33
Not a chance yeovil would of loaned out Joel grant such an important player

01 Sep 2014 21:06:16
Reuben Reid spotted at ex club Yeovil Town tonight, locals seen the in form striker arrive at Huish Park and it seems the deal is to be done before 11 tonight.

26 Aug 2014 22:10:59
Ipswich have made a bid for 21 year old Wimbledon winger Kevin Sainte-Luce. McCarthy has had Steve McCall watch him on several different occasions including on Saturday when he came off the bench in the 64th minute. I believe the bid is about £125,000

Ipswich have also invited Mikele Leigertwood for a trial but he rejected the offer; instead suggesting he was proven enough not to need a trial. This didn't sit well with McCarthy who ended all interest in the player.

Finally, an enquiry was made for Yeovil midfielder and captain Joe Edwards but Ipswich baulked at the £350,000 asking price.

Will post more in the following days as things heat up!

Steve McCall no longer employed by ITFC so I doubt the truth of your rumour

If the ispwich interest in joe Edwards is right then good as he is one of are best players and is worth more than that fee any way
