John stead is belive to be the tall striker cook is after from Notts county

12 Jan 2017 22:56:01
Is Cook after a tall striker from Notts Co? About as much use as the tall striker we have at the moment!

11 Jul 2016 15:40:25
Michael Ngoo, formerly of Motherwell is currently seeking a new club.
Hearing three League Two clubs have offered the 6ft5 striker the opportunity to train on a trial basis so they can analyse if Ngoo would be suited for the sides.

Blackpool, Notts County and Colchester Utd are the teams in question.

The former Liverpool trainee has yet to make a decision.

05 Jul 2016 13:26:23
Out of favour Centre Back, Lewin Nyatanga is looking to end his 3 year association with Barnsley in search of 1st team football. The ex-Wales defender is interesting a number of League 1 and 2 clubs with Notts County said to be in pole position. However the 27 year old would cost a fee as he still has a year left on his contract and is on a sizeable Championship/ League 1 wage.

Also the Reds are set to confirm the signings of non-League star Elliot Kebbie from Salford and winger Ryan Kent on a 6 month loan from Liverpool, by the end of this week.

Numerous Plymouth Argyle rumours flying about.
Ins:
C. Ribiero - Exeter RB out of contract
J. Matt - offers from five other clubs though, Mansfield looks quite likely
M. Paterson - Released by Blackpool
B. Pritchard - Knows how to play a bit, but was out of favour at Orient.

Outs:
Kelvin Mellor - Could be returning to Crewe
Curtis Nelson - Interest from Rangers, Bolton, Wigan and Burton.
Peter Hartley - In talks with Grimsby, Hartlepool and Notts County
Carl McHugh - Blackburn Rovers and Rotherham interested
Graham Carey - Robinson wants to take him to Milton Keynes
Gregg Wylde - Walsall are interested
Reuben Reid - Notts County, Bristol Rovers and Portsmouth seemingly in talks.

12 Jun 2016 13:41:46
Christian Ribiero deal looks likely now due Wage Demands being met by Plymouth but face competition from Bristol Rovers. Jamille Matt according to multiple sources is indeed off to Mansfield with Martin Paterson being pursued as a potential replacement. Bradley Pritchard Argyle are interested due to his versatility and Derek Adams wants to splash out on one versatile instead of 3 'weaker'signings. Curtis Nelson and Peter Hartley look set for Rangers and Grimsby respectively. Graham Carey and Gregg Wylde look set to stay due to interest to continue to pursue their respective careers with Plymouth Argyle. Port Vale are in the hot seat to sign Reuben Reid.

29 Jun 2016 11:54:12
Ribiero is off to Oxford. Matt is off to Blackpool.

Losing Nelson would be a blow.

11 May 2016 11:38:52
Kelvin Mellor will leave Plymouth Argyle this summer and has already held talks about a return to Crewe.

Jake Jervis could also be leaving Home Park with Notts County said to be interested in the striker.

12 May 2016 17:56:10
Jervis to notts County won't happen because Jervis has played a enough games to automatically get a new contract just like the other 4 players we signed in the summer Mellor is a possible.

04 Jan 2016 20:15:26
Portsmouth and Cambridge are interested in signing Liam noble who only has six months left on his contract with Notts County.

10 Jan 2016 10:48:23
Liam is happy to stay at Notts.

10 Jan 2016 10:49:15
Liam is more than happy playing for notts.

12 Jan 2016 22:04:10
Paul cook said his not interested in him, he wouldn't even get in our team anyway.

03 Jan 2016 13:09:24
I have heard a lot of rumours circulating around Northampton Town in the last few days that striker Marc Richards could be sold. Loads of clubs are interested including Luton Town, Oxford United, Oldham Atheltic and Notts County.

03 Jan 2016 16:08:08
Would love him back at Barnsley, the type of experienced goalscorer we need but doubt he would he leave Northampton especially with them challenging for the title and dropping to teams who are not even in a Play-off fight or will be relegated to League 2 next season.

03 Jan 2016 20:23:32
If he was going to leave he would of gone in November when he was not getting payed.

30 Dec 2015 20:34:33
Neil McDonald is to apply for the vacancy at Swindon Town.

Should he get the job at The County Ground, former Notts. County manager Ricardo Moniz will take charge of Blackpool with Graham Kavanagh taking over at Meadow Lane.

12 Aug 2015 16:24:52
Busy week for Burnley with a possible 3 signings this week

First will be German striker Rouwen Hennings from Karlsruher for 1.8M

Second will be midfielder Henri Lansbury from Notts Forest for 4M

Third will be Adrian Mariappa from Palace for 1.2M

They won't be many teams with a squad as strong as Burnley this season

13 Aug 2015 07:40:07
Will be an interesting interview with dyche nxt time. Seeing he is potentially spending more than Derby and middlesbrough. Who's trying to buy the league now scotch egg?

13 Aug 2015 08:52:44
They didn't spend 9 mil on 1 player now did they that's not including add ins spent nowhere near as much as those two

13 Aug 2015 10:18:26
Boros only spent around 8.5m. Burnleys spending nearly that this week according to you lot lol.

13 Aug 2015 11:52:02
7.5 mil on Downing 2.5 mil in add ins if promoted 4 mil on stuani yes really 8.5mil

13 Aug 2015 12:32:35
Obviously not its 5 mil for downing with 2mil add ons, then 3.6 for stuani and soon to be 4 for nugent, Dyche has been kicking off about us spending money then he goes and has a spending spree

13 Aug 2015 12:44:45
Actually downing cost 5m with 2.5m promotion add on. Stauni cost roughly 3.5m. So that's 8.5m. Learn the math and enjoy being the next wigan

13 Aug 2015 12:44:59
Not sure about Mariappa unless u have real strong evidence but other two are I think definite, if we get a pacey winger as a back up then I think we are going to have an unbelievable season, especially if hennings steps up to the mark. Another addition in centre back is a must as with Mariappa we will only have 3 centre backs with actual decent quality

13 Aug 2015 13:01:00
Have burnley recouped any money so far?

13 Aug 2015 18:20:45
Yes got in much more than they spent

13 Aug 2015 18:46:26
Well burnley got relegated from the prem which still hands out a load of money aswell as sales of Danny ings and Kieran Trippier and Jason Shakell, meaning we have the funds to be able to spend this amount of money and we have spent merely as much as boro

13 Aug 2015 19:39:54
The sale of Tomlin covers the purchase of Stuani. So Middlesbrough are only out of pocket 5m on Downing who really wanted to join the club and we made 3m off the play off final in TV rights. The 14m Rhodes deal was rubbish as claimed by the manager. So big spending Middlesbrough have been blowing other teams out the water with purchases claims Dyche. Add up the Maths on this post and see we're out of pocket less than just what you plan to spend on Lansbury.

13 Aug 2015 22:33:01
No money received do ings yet. Tribunal will decide. Can't factor that in. Parachute payments will ease the burden. Dyche tho needs to pick his moments better to slate teams. Must admit, vossen and the juke look deadly together🙊🙊🙊

11 Aug 2015 13:12:39
Notts County are looking at former player Lee Miller who was released by Kilmarnock last season

10 Aug 2015 19:20:56
Notts County to take Jonson Clarke-Harris from Rotherham on a Season Long Loan and link up with ex team mates Scott Loach and Robert Milsom

04 Aug 2015 19:18:38
League Two Notts County look set to bring in former West Brom and Wigan forward Marc Antoine-Fortune on a one year deal as their 17th summer signing.

10 Jul 2015 19:53:00
Here's some stuff on Charlton.

On the ins they are looking at Dexter Blackstock for £1.8M, and they are also looking at Mehdi Abeid on a loan deal.

On the outs, Callum Harriot is attracting a lot of interest from Bradford, Crawley, Notts County, Oldham, Port Vale, Scunthorpe and Shrewsbury all looking at him on loan.
Tareiq Holmes-Dennis is being looked at by Cheltenham, Eastleigh, Gateshead, Kidderminster and Woking on loan.

10 Jul 2015 21:34:40
If anyone pays 1.8 mil for dexter Blackstock I'll eat my hat

28 Jun 2015 22:44:36
Portsmouth want to make a bid for ex portsmouth fc player mustpha dumbaya at notts county Pompey will hope to sign him in the next 72 hours

29 Jun 2015 11:54:29
This was rumoured several weeks ago, No bid required he is a free agent when his Notts County contract expires this week

29 Jun 2015 11:57:09
There will be no new signings at the moment as the pompey squad are in Portugal for a week.

29 Jun 2015 12:40:36
Dumbuya was released at the end of the season, so is a free agent from June 30th.

29 Jun 2015 15:47:51
That would be great

29 Jun 2015 22:10:37
Dumbuya is awful and there is no truth in this, cook will most likely go for a right back able to play football and defend, no just a fast player

30 Jun 2015 23:49:39
It's true enough about Dumbuya. Not only is he a poor defender, but he's a bit injury prone too. Pacey, and OK going forward, but not great as a full-back.

15 Jun 2015 13:42:46

15 Jun 2015 13:43:22
These fixtures are not correct I've just spoken to someone within the press office at the football league and they haven't even been finalised yet.

15 Jun 2015 16:27:39
Cheese = Luton in the conference.Glad you are not in charge of the fixtures.

15 Jun 2015 16:46:39
Cheese. How are Luton still in the Conference?.

They finished 8th in League 2 last year!

15 Jun 2015 17:00:42
Ah, just wishful thinking!

15 Jun 2015 17:30:49
C Palace, Millwall and charlton all 3 south london clubs all playing away on the same day meaning all playing at home on the same day. I don't think so.

15 Jun 2015 18:56:16
Whether these fixtures are correct or not, Luton Town are in League 2 (finished 8th last season).

16 Jun 2015 00:33:00
Derby County and Nottingham Forest wouldn't both be playing at home

16 Jun 2015 10:26:48
Conclusively wrong as proven by fixtures

16 Jun 2015 18:25:41
York and exeter won't both be home at same time. The risks of fans clashing would be immense

16 Jun 2015 20:23:07
Very inaccurate.

18 Jun 2015 10:01:08
I'm guessing your were playing a football themed game of 'Pin the Tail o The Donkey' when you posted this????
