READING's billionaire Chinese owner's Dai Yongge and Dai Xiu Li are ready to sell the English Championship club, and are said to have welcomed "warm" interest from several parties already.
The purchase of the Football Club is not as straight-forward as one would expect, with the Chinese owner owning the 24,200 capacity Stadium and new Training Ground, with the Football Club's only assests today being their playing staff, due to the asset stripping of their former Thai owners Lady Sasima Srivikorn, Sumrith Thanakarnjanasuth and Narin Niruttinanon.
Reading fans remain unconvinced by their current owner, who to-date is yet to give any form of interview whereby he explains his vision and plan for the Berkshire club. All fans have become acustomed to under his ownership, is a number transfer embargo's, and a number of breaches of Profit and Sustainability rules, with the club believed to be about to receive yet another points deduction (6) which will leave the Royals on the cusp of relegation to England's third division after a number of near misses in recent years, despite the clubs financial woes due to its financial mismanagement behind the scenes.
