09 Jan 2017 11:04:10
Don't think he would really do much for use, considering we already have four very talented strikers already.

09 Jan 2016 16:48:46
AFC Wimbledon have made a bid to sign Wrexham attacking midfielder Dominic Vose. Wimbledon have lacked a goalscoring central midfielder this season, and Neal Ardley has identified London-born Vose, who has already got into double figures for the Conference side, as the man to provide that extra attacking edge. Newport County and Cheltenham Town have also made offers for the player, but he may prefer a move back to London.

Peterborough United have had a bid for Wimbledon midfielder Jake Reeves rejected. Reeves has been integral to the Dons this season and his high energy performances have attracted a host of admirers. The Dons may look to cash in on the midfielder, as his contract expires at the end of the season.

Wimbledon have made an offer for Bristol City centre back Adam El-Abd. The former Egypt international helped Bury climb out of League Two last season. He was on loan there from the Robins, where he started last season but fell out of favour. Ironically he played his final game for City against the Dons in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy. This season he was loaned out to Swindon Town where he has recently returned from and has said he will not return. The Dons hope that they can secure El-Abd for a small fee, but will face competition from a host of League One and League Two clubs, including Bury, Leyton Orient, Rochdale and Shrewsbury Town.

The Dons are also considering boosting their options in defence with the loan signing of either giant centre back Cameron Burgess from Fulham, or marauding full back Nico Yennaris from Brentford.

Wimbledon will let George Oakley and Ben Harrison leave in the next two weeks. Oakley has had injury problems, and hopes to put those behind him with a move to Aldershot. Initially on loan, with an option to sign permanently in the summer.
Harrison broke into the Dons' starting eleven last season, but has found himself confined to the development squad, with little opportunity to even sit on the bench. Harrison has asked to be allowed a short term loan spell, and a move to Sutton United should be completed very soon.

After scoring both goals in Wimbledon's FA Youth Cup win away at Newcastle United, Alfie Egan has attracted the attention of Tottenham, Southampton and one of Wimbledon's potential opponents in the next round, Chelsea.

Fulham have made a bid for Egan's under-18 teammate Will Mannion. The 17-year-old is a tall goalkeeper who is being watched by England youth team selectors, and will join an England goalkeeper training camp next week. Mannion has travelled with the Dons first team squad for several games this season, but has failed to make the bench. The young keeper has expressed his desire to stay with the Dons, and is enjoying being part of their historic Youth Cup run, but his outstanding displays have caught the attention of a whole host of Premier League sides' scouts.

they might be playing on different days

15 Jun 2015 13:32:40
What bollix.

Bristol Rovers v Luton

Luton are still in the Conference FFS!

15 Jun 2015 13:42:46
Soon find out won't we

15 Jun 2015 13:43:22
These fixtures are not correct I've just spoken to someone within the press office at the football league and they haven't even been finalised yet.

15 Jun 2015 16:27:39
Cheese = Luton in the conference.Glad you are not in charge of the fixtures.

15 Jun 2015 16:46:39
Cheese. How are Luton still in the Conference?.

They finished 8th in League 2 last year!

15 Jun 2015 17:00:42
Ah, just wishful thinking!

15 Jun 2015 17:30:49
C Palace, Millwall and charlton all 3 south london clubs all playing away on the same day meaning all playing at home on the same day. I don't think so.

15 Jun 2015 18:56:16
Whether these fixtures are correct or not, Luton Town are in League 2 (finished 8th last season).

16 Jun 2015 00:33:00
Derby County and Nottingham Forest wouldn't both be playing at home

16 Jun 2015 10:26:48
Conclusively wrong as proven by fixtures

16 Jun 2015 18:25:41
York and exeter won't both be home at same time. The risks of fans clashing would be immense

16 Jun 2015 20:23:07
Very inaccurate.

18 Jun 2015 10:01:08
I'm guessing your were playing a football themed game of 'Pin the Tail o The Donkey' when you posted this????

08 Jun 2015 19:52:53
Leyton Orient have agreed terms with former AFC Wimbledon midfielder Sammy Moore on a free transfer.

After rejecting a move to the MLS, Adebayo Akinfenwa has signed a new deal for Wimbledon. The Dons want Josh McQuoid to be his strike partner next season, but Portsmouth are hoping a better deal with tempt him to instead lead the line in a Pompey-promotion-push.
Matt Tubbs has been told he will have to prove himself over pre-season, and new boss Paul Cook may look to loan him out next season. Bristol Rovers and AFC Wimbledon would be first in line for his signature.

Portsmouth were trying to sign Sam Clucas from Chesterfield but the Spierites £1 million asking price has more than put them off.

04 Jun 2015 18:17:42
Colchester United are set to sign David Mooney on a 2 year contract after he rejected Leyton Orient's offer of a 1 year deal.

Mark Bradley and Nick Bailey are also considering deals from the Essex club.

06 May 2015 22:01:10
I want to see Fulham bring in a few players over the summer, here's some I have thought about, not everyone will agree so please give me your ideas aswell please COYW

Jeff Henderick (Derby)
Nick Powell (Man United)
Jota (Brentford)
Luke Freeman (Bristol City)
Aden Flint (Bristol City)
Michael Turner (Norwich)
Dean Cox (Leyton Orient)
Joe Garner (Preston NE)

Like I said these won't be everyone's choice so let me know

13 May 2015 21:58:46
I would go for players who know the league
Turner & Husband on perm deals
Leon Britton
Andrew Surmann
Sidwell
Dunk
Kyle Bartley
Rudolf Austin
Bryson
Hendrick
. We need at least 12 players in

15 May 2015 10:19:05
Surman has just been promoted with Bournemouth so that wouldn't happen and if we did sign someone from there in that position I would say Harry Arter.
Leon Britton is now 32 so I don't think he would help us!
Apparently we have made a bid for Lewis Dunk

15 May 2015 17:36:04
Bournemouth have told Surmann he won't be starting next season

16 May 2015 16:10:11
Personally think Joe Garner is a bit overrated. yes his goal tally is excellent but having watched him towards the end of the season I don't think we need him.

The areas we need to properly invest in are the midfield and defence, Flint would be an excellent signing, however i'm not sure whether Freeman and Flint would be willing to leave the side they just won promotion with to join a team who struggled and is now playing in the same league.

Some of my targets would probably be:
Husband (Boro)
Dele Alli (Spurs)
Carayol (Boro)
Demerai gray (Birmingham)
Tommy Smith (Ipswich)

17 May 2015 10:10:19
Delle Ali would be great on loan, Carayol is not great, he was on loan at Brighton and made no impact! Flint would be brilliant I don't think we will struggle next season but I reckon Bristol City will.
Hopefully we bring in a few new faces COYW

17 May 2015 11:57:50
I also think we need to use the loan market concisely and not bring in too many temporary faces because it means we lack stability as a club when they all leave. I count 5 loan players we had by the end of the season and we have to now find a way to replace them.

17 May 2015 21:44:13
Totally agree with the loan thing, stability is key next season! Just seen seen on a website we are linked with

Lewis Dunk
Matt Mills
Jed Wallace
Demarai Gray
Didier Digard
Emmanuel Emenike
Dele Alli

20 May 2015 12:36:05
just heard that zola is in the frame for Fulham job. deal going to happen tomorrow.

20 May 2015 19:00:30
Lol, worst rumour, Symons is staying

20 May 2015 19:17:59
Symon's is staying without a doubt whether or not it's the right decision. I personally don't mind him staying on. Yes he has had his flaws throughout the season (substitutions and team selections being the main ones) but he is a fulham man and i'd be willing to give him a chance.

22 May 2015 07:00:59
Agreed joe. His touchline behaviour is questionable but don't want another transition phase. Keep kit and let the team rebuild.

I do understand the loan thing though. Saves us doing a qpr.

We need to offload the magath garbage first. Chihi, Fazlic etc. Then keep the worthwhile players and rebuild from the back.

28 Apr 2015 08:54:11
Leyton Orient going to make a move for Barnet FC pair should they get relegated. Jon Akinde and Bondz Ngala. Both instrumental in barnets promotion

06 Mar 2015 13:58:48
Dave Robertson will be announced as the next Peterborough manager if they beat Leyton Orient on Saturday.
