More than anything it showed that Rooney shouldn't be in midfield. His first touch is awful and any attempted pass over 5 yards went to the opposition. If Woy wants to play him it must be up front but if Kane Sturridge and Vardy are ahead of Rooney in the pecking order then he should start on the bench.

Rooney shouldn't be in the 23 let alone the first 11. Boot him and Wilshire out and let Drinkwater and Townsend or Defoe go. Rooney's been finished for about 2 seasons now.
