Burnley to sign lansbury 4m like I stated last week

The bid has not been accepted, the chairman has to speak to Dougie Freedman. If he doesn't approve the move then it's a no-go. If the manager agrees to the move then Burnley have to persuade the player to join which they have failed to do on a few occasions in the past, but having said that let's hope he signs

{Ed003's Note - medical was booked so I don't think persuasion is an issue,the owners neurotic behaviour might be though.}

Wasnt dysche bitching the other week about other teams spending lots of money then pays 4m for someone. Bit hypocritical isn't it

All going well should be signed tomorrow of what Nottingham forest said last night. Lansbury is set to have a medical at Burnley this evening.

Burnley's bid WAS accepted yesterday by a senior official at Nott'm Forest. This person then started briefing SEVERAL journalists, news outlets etc.

At this point the Nott'm forest fans started hurling abuse on Twitter at their chairman and it was then that he waded into the situation, opened his mouth and backtracked heavily.

In doing he's undermined (possibly fatally!) whoever it is at Nott'm Forest that deals with transfers etc, hung several of the local press in Nottingham out to dry, mucked about a senior player (who must be wanting some sort of move- there's no way a club spends 18 months chasing a player without some encouragement from somewhere. !), disrupted his managers preparations for the League Cup match this week and annoyed the hell out of another club in the same division.

Fairly impressive really. #Doh!

If the deal does involve £3,000,000 up front + add ons and possibly even Lukas Jutkiewicz in some way then the chairman needs reminding of the financial realities his club is under; especially as it was representatives of his OWN players that presented the club with a winding up order due to unpaid wages/bonuses or whatever!

@Realist first of all it's spelt Dyche. And he wasn't exactly bitching about other teams spending loads, he was just surprised at the amount of money being spent. And he hasn't even spent a lot of money this window compared to other clubs, so I don't know what you're saying.

Well what ever he's called he was complaining about Derby and boro spending some money and how they were making it more difficult for Burnley to sign players. Its just plain hypocritical and two faced.

That's because derby have spelt like 10m on players and may get Rhodes for 14m or something crazy like that, that a lot more compared to us spending probably about half that

Hardly hypocritical spending 4m when Middlesbrough offer 12 fro Rhodes??

Who said they offered 12m? The papers? can't believe everything you read and doesn't matter how much anyway. Hypocritical means complaining about something or someone and then doing the complete same thing. Perhaps instead using the press to tap up and unstable players you should invest in a dictionary lol
