Liverpool will not be signing Robbie Keane in the Summer as Juande Ramos will not allow him to leave as Berbatov will be heading to Man United so he needs to keep his second best forward. Rafa will renew his interest in David Trezeguet of Juve for £9 million. Liverpool were granted first option on him if he were to leave Turin as part of the Sissoko deal. Ezequiel Garay is heading to the Nou Camp so he will also not be joining Liverpool. A bid for Gabby Heinze though is still on the cards. Mascherano will sign a 4–yr deal next week. Rafa will bid for Micah Richards but will be knocked back. A bid for Joe Hart is alsoon the cards. He will also try to lure Dani Alves from Sevilla and this transfer is rated as 50–50. Ricardo Quaresma would be interested in a move to Anfield if a fee could be arranged will Porto reluctant to sell. Wayne Bridge will join for £7 million along with Joe Cole for £12 millionin, if he is dropped when all of Chelsea's African players return from the African Cup Of Nations and the return of injured players such as Lampard. A few more squad players will be added but nothing significant Out of Anfield will be KUYT, VORONIN, RIISE, PENNANT, ALONSO, ITANDJE, AURELIO, SKRTEL (loan), GUTHRIE.
Arsenal Breaking Rumours
Arsenal have agreed to sign Dutch International Winger Roysten Drenthe. He reportedly join for a fee of £9 million from Real Madrid and will join in the Summer. he will wear number 18.
Afc– to sign
benzema – £12 million
Ashley young – 12.5 mill
Nasri– 9 mill
micha Richards– 25 mill
de Rossi–25 mill
I came on here a couple of months ago to warn my fellow Reds that if Dumb and Dumber got their re–financing package put through then there would be huge debts laid at the feet of our beloved club and not these 2 Yanks.
2 months on and it is far worse than I could of ever imagined. Not only will we have to pay 30+ million a year in interest from the loan, but there will be virtually no money for Rafa to spend in the transfer market until the New Stadium is built.
Rafa will look at selling the following players:
Whatever Rafa gets in the Transfer Market for selling these players will not ALL be used at bringing new players in. The Americans will insist on some of the promising Reserves getting more of a chance (Hobbs, Huth, Insua, Nemeth, Pacheco) and some of the incoming transfer money helping to pay off the interest.
The vultures will be circling around Anfield this Summer when this information becomes public knowledge. You will have the Premier Clubs from Europe sniffing around trying to Unsettle/Buy our top players (Stevie G, Nando, Pepe, Agger, etc). And because of the situation they could leave.
The future my fellow reds is Dark with these two persons incharge. They are destroying our club and our beliefs. My fellow reds I urge you to stand by the Sons of Shankly and not believe anything these Colonial Liars are saying.
Wenger will look to make 2–3 purchases in the Summer window, mainly to replace players. With Gilberto very likely to leave, Wenger is looking for a good defensive mid–fielder, and will battle Man United, to bring Veloso to the Emirates. He is also looking for a winger to replace Rosicky (who may be leaving for inter). If so Wenger would bring in Swiss international Valon Behrami. both of these players can be used in the defense if their is an injury crisis, so no Micah. Finally, Wenger may consider a bid for De Guzman.
Amr Zaki could leave Al–Zamalek for the Premier League in the Summer. The forward who has been profilic for Egypt could move to Birmingham City for around £2 million.
With Champions league football a real possibility Bayer Leverkusen are considering a swoop for Chelsea duo Pizarro and Ben Haim. –MB– Mathieu Flamini is wanted by Juve, AS Roma and Bayern Munich. –MB– Xabi Alonso will move to Real Madrid but only if Rafa Benitez gets Fernando Gago in return. –MB–
Riordan set to reject move to Dynamo Moscow. Owen Coyle is desperately trying to inflate Lafferty's value in the press but he should have taken the ridiculously extravagant Riordan + Cash deal that was offered. Although most Hoops fans are glad that he did not and would rather keep Riordan in the team. But WGS knows best. Superb signings in the January window have given the club fresh momentum.
To all deluded Liverpool fans who thinks their club will buy athl. Madrids Sergio aguero – think again.
he has just signed a new five year contract with a buy out Clause set at 75 million pounds. I seriously doubt that Liverpool can afford that. So stop dreaming
Lets stop all the silly rumours about Arsenal now. In the Summer Arsenal will sign four players tops. Three will be going straight into the youth set up. Vela's return means Arsenal will only sign one player and we's not a forward or a winger and It's not Micah Richards, luka Modric or Nasri (all far to expensive).
Barcelona have agreed to sign Garay and this has come at a cost, Liverpool were interested in him and he was keen about joining Liverpool until they signed Skrtel. Liverpool agreed to pull out of the race for Garay on a condition that they get Henry at the end of the season, for around £10 million. Liverpool think this will be a fantastic signing as it would give Torres a great partner and allow Babel to learn from his idol. Also possible that Xabi will be sold and Guthrie used as a fourth choice midfielder, Pennant will not be sold Rafa likes him and Hyypia will get a new contract as Hobbs will be bedded into the team in his place. Riise and Aurelio are gone at the end of the season to be replaced by Ashley Cole, and Insua will be given more games. Kewell is likely to get a new contract but how long he remains at the club is down to who is signed, Downing has been linked and would be cheapish at £7 million while Joe Cole could come with Ashley, the other names Ashley Young, Silva and Quaresma are wanted but price demands may force else where. Upfront Rafa knows an out and out hitman is needed so if Henry does not go through expect Voronin and Kuyt to go to be replaced by Nemeth in the reserves or Darren Bent as Rafa is a fan.
Scott Carson £8 million– Aston Villa
Dirk Kuyt £7.5 million– Villareal
Andriy Voronin £2.5 million– Hamburg
Sebastian Leto £1.8 million– Boca Juniors
Anthony Le Tallec £1.8 million– PSG
Mikel San Jose £200 k– Atletico Madrid
Ryan Flynn £200 k– Hearts
Andreas Simon £200 k– Kaiserslautern
TOTAL: £22.2 million
Javier Mascherano £17 million
Rafa will back up Babel, Crouch and Torres not with another forward signed but a reserve forward using Brouwer and Lindfield.
Liverpool only have a net of £10 million to spned this Summer after Mascherano is signed next week.
Rafa will let Carson go to Villa for £6 million.
John Arne Riise will also leave for £6 million.
Sebastian Leto will leave on loan.
Andrey Voronin will move on for around 500 k.
Wayne Bridge will come on for £7 million.
Jeremy Menez will join for £10 million.
Eidur Gudjohnsen will replace Voronin for £4 million.
The rest of money available will be on youth.
Just heard fom a brother of a scout at LFC that they are definitely looking at purchasing David Villa for £17 million in the Summer with an extra 3 and a half going to Valencia dependent on appearances and goals scored. They are also looking at Silva and Mancini again, but because of their contracts with their clubs they are reluctant on spending too much. A few flash youngsters are also in line from South America, but he did not have names – just what he heard from other scouts.
Rangers hope to sign Dinamo Zagreb midfieder Vekojevic in the Summer, he is descibed as a "Gattusso" type of player
Rangers have made enquires about Toulouse left back Mathieu, but face competion for the 24 year old defender.
Arsenal are chasing Elano as a replacement for Rosicky who could join Milan or even Liverpool. –MB– Damien Duff could rejoin Blackburn in a swap involving Bentley. –MB–
Emile Heskey to make return to home club Leicester City for around £4.5 million
Emile Heskey – Leicester City – £4.5 million
