Rumoured down here on the south coast in response to question about Alan Smith, he has, it is rumoured been talking to Southampton over a possible summer switch, spotted looking at properties in Ocean Village
in Southampton, quite a pricey area, Leeds fans won't
like this but this has been heard more than once, it
could well be a wind-up, or on the other hand, maybe
no smoke without fire.
Time will tell.

Anyone know what's happening with Alan Smith OF NUFC? Are they going to get rid, if so, where?

Ricardo Bernardo Quaresma to Liverpool in the Summer.
Damien Commolli has been interested in this lad because of his creative abilities but mostly for his crossing (Andy Carrol link up?). Anyone that has seen Ricky Q lately will admit the man has a midas touch. Jamie Carragher will remember him from his Porto days when they played against each other in the Champions League. There is one problem however, Ricky isn't very young which goes against the clubs policy but should sell on the cheap considering the last time we tried to purchase him. Another problem is his motivation. he didn't fair so well under Mourinho but if Kenny Dalglish is anything short of Godlike im sure he can bring the best out of Ricky.
Another pull factor is the fact that the Liverpool contingent is made up of a lot of portuguese speaking players (Meireles is old porto teammate) which should help him settle in quickly not to mention the clubs open policy on creative tattooed players. -BobbySouth

A third party has entered the fray to take over Plymouth Argyle, believed to be Irish based. Meanwhile, Paul Buttivant has been told by the administrator to make a firm offer by monday. James Brent is the only one to have proved he has the cash, and is everyones favourite to take over, though he has said he considers his bid to be a back up in case no one else comes in. To whoever said this "Billy Clark, just been released by Ipswich Town, is in talks with Wolves, Hull City and West Brom." Billy left Ipswich 2summer's ago and has just returned from a serious knee injury for Blackpool yah pillock, he scored within 23 seconds against PNE in the bloomfield road derby last season FFS

Haha. Your the pillock. This is a different Billy Clark. Yours has a 's' on the end and is Irish. The one that has been released is Ipswich born and went to school in Ipswich.

To the clown that said this:

Nottingham forest will sign Jonathan greening from fulham for around 3mil

COME ON U REDS! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

Take a day off you mug. . . £3MILLION are you real?

£3 Million for an ageing sick note. . . NO THANKS! ! !

If Forest were t ospend £3 Million in the summer it won't be all on one player, especially Greening. . . .there is NO way Doughty will agree to that, and if Billy boy seriously wants to spend that on Greening he needs sacking!

Remember when he was at Direby clownty. . . Claude Davis??

Dalglish's top 4 targets this summer are Fabio Coentrao, Marko Marin, Gary Cahill and Yann M'Vila. The 4 will probably cost around 70mil. One right winger (Lee or Payet) and a central midfielder (Adam or J. McCarthy) will also be targetted. The club will also make a move for Alex Oxlade Chamberlain for around 10mil but will let the player stay at Southamptain for another season

09 Apr 2011 00:30:01
John Henry has told Comolli that he and the manager will have 60mil to spend in the summer market, as well as whatever sales are made. Henry is shocked at the lack of quality in the squad. The manager is 90% to be Dalglish who will be offered a 3 year deal.

The main worry for Henry is paying players who are not even on the fringes of the first team and so he will look to get rid of Konchesky, Degen, El Zhar, Jovanovic and J.Cole and will hopefully raise around 10mil there. Another 15mil is likely to come from the sales of loanee duo Aquilani and Insua. These players are those who the backroom staff are actively looking to sell.

And in replacement of them, they want 4 top class players in Fabio Coentrao (20mil) Marko Marin (20mil) Yann M'Vila (15mil) and Sylvain Marveaux (free)
So in a sense these are our 4 priorities. Marin was originally second choice to Eden Hazard but the club don't feel he wants to come to Anfield.

The next aim is to improve the competition within the squad. ie getting rid of older players who may be useful, but are not defining enough but at the same time will bring in a bit of money or significantly clear up the wage bill. Hence Liverpool will listen to offers for Martin Skrtel and Maxi Rodriguez. And to replace them, Comolli and Dalglish want Gary Cahill (15mil) and Lee Chung Yong (10mil)

These are therefore the 7 top targets for the club this summer. Comolli and Dalglish hope this will define a more successful team and once the team starts winning and competing competitively they will look for raw talents rather than young, established talents. The pair are incredibly interested in British trio Phil Jones, James McCarthy and Alex Chamberlain as well as Italian full back Davide Santon. However, none of these players will be signed until January at the very earliest.
