anyone interested in roger johnson? {Ed025's Note - no mate..(9)(4)Why would they be ..... He's a spoilt little kidThe only suggestion I can make is perhaps his missus is interested in him?.He has been rubbish for us this season.Thank god we did not pay the five million Birmingham wanted for him.Apparently Wetherspoons are contemplating an ambassadorial role for him. With Oddbins earmarking him for promotional duties.

A lot of news coming from London Road as Peterborough boss Darren Ferguson looks set to lose a number of keys players but is keen on replacing them.
Reading boss Brian McDermott is keen on signing winger George Boyd and a deal worth around £400,000 could be struck before the end of this week. The Championship champions have been looking for a winger this season and have recognised Boyd as their choice.
Striker Paul Taylor is also set to leave the club after a bid came in from Everton for the 24 year old. The former Vauxhall Motors has impressed scouts and managers this season after bagging 12 goals.
Ferguson is close to tying up two deals coming into the club.
The first is thought to be Burnley striker Alex MacDonald. The 22 year old has impressed United whilst on loan at Plymouth this season and could cost around £150,000.
Another deal in the pipeline is Shamrock attacker Aaron Greene. The 22 year old will sign a four year deal for an undislcosed fee once the wages can be agreed.(5)(10)

PNE news:

Sheffield Weds to offer 2 year deal to Neil Mellor,

Paul Coutts and Ian Hume set for talks with Peterborough.

Danny Mayor and Jamie Proctor wanted by Swansea(6)(8)It seems that PNE have identified just 18 players out of 48 (including the above) to be spared the boot by sargent major Westley on Tuesday/Wednesday. Coutts & Hume already have a number of teams looking at them as they may not want to join the "revolution". A good offer of cash and Graham will cash in and they will be off. Westley has confirmed that most/all of his new players will be Bosmans & loans......so any cash will help him put a bid in for some 6ft 2" non league journeymen!!Hume will not leave pne he as said he will stay and coutts can leave ,as for mayor no chance he will leave pneC'mon PNE fans, your club is in need of restructuring players will leave and players will come in that is the way of football. Your wage bill is far too high, addressing this problem is the priority to make sure you have a club next year.

Give Westley a chance, I work hard you work hard why should footballers be any different.

07 May 2012 22:22:57
Peterborough will seal deals for Wycombe's Stuart Beavon and Teovil pair Andrew Williams & Luke Ayling by the end of the week.(2)(10)

Jamie Mackie to Cardiff City for a fee no one is aware of at the moment, all we know is that he is high on Cardiff's and Brighton's list. Craig Noone is moving to the welsh capital for around £850,000 after realising Brighton are nit as good as Cardiff. Danny Ward (Huddersfield) is also another player Cardiff are interested in.
C'mon Seaguls!!(0)(15)

07 May 2012 21:31:15
The Leicester transfer rumours just keep on going. My source has informed that Sean St Ledger will be leaving to either Sheffield United or Notts County. The Foxes will be looking to offload the defender for around £500,000k. Matt Mills is also on the way out to Celtic for 2mil done deal. Martyn Waghorn will be the third player to leave with both Charlton and Bristol City both looking at the striker. Nigel Pearson is looking at Arsenal youngster Joel Campbell for a season long loan. Jacob Butterfield is also one of Pearson's must have's with the Barnsley midfielder valued at 1.5mil. Curtis Davies is admired by the Leicester manager but the 3mil price tag could rule out any bid from the midlands club.(5)(17)So that's a potential squad of 126 then ......Celtic is not siging mills
charlie mulgrew and tam rogne are beter
players we should sign wheater or dunneHa brilliant.

Anyone else??

Stupid Leicester fansButterfield is wanted by Newcastke and Reading. Why would he go to Leicester?Butterfield to newc n reading? Its rumours name of the site durrrr i heard messi is going fleetwood townCampbell hasn't got a work permit!!Sheffield united wont spend 500k! If they dont go up iv heard they might go into adminstration. There debt is in excess of 40million!

07 May 2012 21:21:13
Watford have put a bid of £350k in for Preston winger Danny Mayor.(11)(4)Eventhough he'sTry over a millionTry thinking through the fact that you are a lower half 3rd tier club and if any of your players were worth a million you would not be where you are

07 May 2012 21:20:19
Championship rumours:

Jamie Vardy - Blackpool 1.25mil

Barnsley - George Boyd 750,000k but Peterborough United want at least 1mil for the attacking midfielder. The tykes are also chasing Wolves striker Leigh Griffiths possibly on loan til January but will try and tempt the relegated club in to selling the striker for 500,000k.

Paul Taylor will leave Peterborough for 1.5 mil to Middlesbrough. With an extra 250,000k being paid if he scores 15 league goals and another 250,000k if Middlesbrough finish in the top 6. To replace both Boyd and Taylor the Posh are looking at Dundee United striker Johnny Russell and Alan Judge from Notts County.(7)(12)No way this is trueBarnsley got no money transfer fees no more than 200k most will be loans or out of contractI cant see anyone paying £1.25m for a non-league player. He may have potential but he is also a risk. Finances have changed since the intoduction of Fair play rules.

07 May 2012 21:00:48
Charlton boss Chris Powell looks to tie up a deal with West Ham for striker Sam Baldock. The youngster, who arrived from MK Dons last summer, has struggled to find a regular starting berth at Upton Park and has fallen down the pecking order due to the recent arrivals of Vaz Te and Maynard.

The deal is said to be around 750k with add ons totaling to 1.5m if the Addicks gain promotion. However, this deal will only go ahead if the Irons win the play-off final and return to the Premier League.(17)(6)"if the Addicks gain promotion" Where've you been mate!Promotion from the Championship, given this deal would happen in the summer...Obviously its if they get promoted to the Premier League. The season is over you idiot.

Hi Ed!
Just wondering about Fulham transfers...

In:
Jay Rodriguez (is this confirmed?)
Nacer Chadli (i have heard this is 99% done? true?)
Jordan Rhodes (i haven't heard much in a while but, anything there?)
Who else is their interest in?

Out:
Clint Dempsey (is he gonna go? If so where?)
Moussa Dembele (haven't heard ANY confirmed interest.. whats his situation?)
Anyone else, other than Andy Johnson on their way out of the cottage?

Contract Offers:
Will Pavel Pogrebnyak and Mahamadou Diarra be offered extensions?

Thanks! {Ed003's Note - Just the interest from other teams in Dempsey that has been widely reported,if you get Jay Rod I think you are getting a belting young prospect with quite a few league games behind him now for a youngster,I do rate him from what I have seen}(2)(9)I cant see dempsey goingYour not getting Rhodes Wednesday is uto we are already in talks with him unluckyIf there was interest from Fulham, Wednesday wouldn't enter rhode's mind..

07 May 2012 20:07:18

Connor Wickham to be at either Ipswich or Reading next season, Martin O'Neil not impressed with the Striker with Wickham ready to go out on loan either back to the team he trained with as a kid or back to the club where his career started.
Josh Carson also wanted by 2 or 3 Premiership clubs(8)(8)Lolazy journalolismReading would have taken him last season but not now in the Premiership when you need a proven goalscorer.Ipswich have first say on Wickham part of the original dealWhat a waste of oney! Didn't he go for somewhere around £10-12M?I never thought he'd cut it in the PL and i still doubt it now

07 May 2012 19:06:17
Derby County have made finding a striker their top target. My sources claim that they have made a list of 6 players that they will target. The Rams will not pay more than 1.5m for their man.

Lee Novak: Huddersfield £750,000k
Jon Daly: Dundee Utd £500,000k
Sylvan Ebanks-Blake Wolves £1.5m
Heidar Helguson QPR £300,000k
Conor Sammon Wigan £1m
Ricardo Fuller Stoke Free transfer

I'm led to believed that Daly, Helguson, and Noval are the main targets.(5)(13)When we sell rhodes novak will be our number one striker and it would take a lot more than 750k to get himIf novak goes to derby i will eat my car {Ed003's Note - Crikey!!}Sure you can afford SEBs boot lacesAs a Derby fan, i can tell you now that we will not be getting any of those players. We are reducing our wage bill and have very little money to spend.Would love ebanks blake to sign :)I very much doubt that they'll sign Jon Daly! He's too good for that se! {Ed025's Note - maybe the golfer? Why are so many deluded peoplesaying wolves are going to sell ebanks-blake he scores for fun in championship so why now we are back in that league are we going to sell him to a team in the same league ffs. get real!!

07 May 2012 19:03:25

Newly promoted Fleetwood Town are casting their eye's over Mansfield Town midfielder Lee Stevenson. Stevenson who hasn't really featured in the Stags first team could move to the Trawlermen for a small fee. Alfreton Town striker Anthony Wilson is also a target for Fleetwood, Wilson who played a key part in keeping the Red's up last year is being touted to replace Jamie Vardy who looks destined to leave the cod army.(6)(3)

07 May 2012 18:44:45
A few Premier League clubs, like Wigan, are apparently interested in Viktoria Plzen's star Daniel Kolar. The Czech player, who is most likely to be included in the Czech squad for Euro 12', would move if Plzen fails to retain the league title in Czech Republic.(2)(3)

07 May 2012 18:44:32
Notts County to sign Stevenage playmaker Luke Freeman as a replacement for Alan Judge.(4)(14)No chance, only just signed a 2 year deal, why would he leave a club that might be playing in the Championship next season.A) higher wages
b) Stevenage won't be getting promotedLuke signed a 2 year deal with stevenage in january, and why would he go to notts that wouldnt offer him a start week in week out. if he went it wouldnt be to notts county, but he wont go

07 May 2012 18:41:53
Burnley have bid excepted for goal keeper smithies from Huddersfield for 500k plus Lee grant. No deal finalised untill mk dons games as huddersfield don't want him to lose concentration on the play offs(8)(9)

Derby County Looking at Norway 3

Fegor Ogude
Havard Neilsen
Markus Henriksen

Talks with Valengra have started for
the first two.But Markus Henriksen
seems to be destined for Premiership.(2)(12)Henriksen has stated in the past that he prefers Bundesliga over Premier League anyway.Markus Henriksen has been courted by all the top clubs in Europe this season, you utter mad man!

Go back to Football Manager and keep it unreal.

DeROFLby County

07 May 2012 18:27:15
No way a deal is done for Rhodes with town still in play-offs even tho nobody believes they will beat mk dons. Rhodes might now go to sheffield wed now that they have gone up as his dad is goalkeeping coach(11)(16)Yer right lolFunny how all our best players are being linked to other clubs,Mk dumbs trying silly games ? dont waste your time girlsThink Rhodes will probably leave regardless , but can't imagine Sheff Wed can afford him.Why would Rhodes go to Wednesday when he can play premier league football? We can afford we have got the one and only Milan mandaric and we r promoted so we will get a few million ooh we beat you 2-0 your carp your not going upThe point is there are bigger and better clubs than Wendies who Rhodes could and will likely sign for after the play off's

07 May 2012 18:13:46
Anybody saying that players wont
move from the spl because they have
European football is rubbish.The teams
will never make it past Qualification.
Players in the spl the majority of them
want to move south either straight
to the Premiership or a stepping stone
to the Premiership by joining a
Championship side.(6)(9)

07 May 2012 18:13:24
Nottingham Forest look set to be raided with Luke Chambers on the shortlist of a number of Championship clubs with my contact saying that Blackpool are the favourites to sign him. Keeper Lee Camp is also a target for Wolves. Gareth McCleary attracting numerous interest from premier league dides and Celtic. Joel Lynch is a target for Cardiff. But Forest are looking good on the Paul Anderson front as the winger looks certain to sign a 2 year deal.(3)(9)McCleary was in Reading for talks last week. The club expect to tie up the deal this week.Mccleay gone west bromwich albionOpps meant mcclearyWhy would wolves sign camp when we got 4 keepers better than him ?Never heard so much bad news in 1 papagraph especially the paul anderson bit !Gutted if anderson staysThats complete rubbish because coterill will definitely not be offering ando a contract WOW

07 May 2012 18:10:24
Derby County's Andy Garner is set

Who plays for side Vålerenga.After
Ivan Hoillet was Massively Impressed
with him.Derby County were Originally
Scouting 18 year old Striker Havard
Neilsen who Derby are looking to sign

decent players in on a cheap fee.

This is Completely true.None of these
Players have signed but Derby are
going to start talks in a week.(8)(4)

07 May 2012 18:06:40
Dean Saunders is ready to strengthen all areas of his Doncaster squad with free agent Brian Howard set to sign a 2 year deal. Celtic central defender Darren O'Dea is also another target and Saunders will keep the hunt going north of the boarder by signing St Johnstone striker Derek Riordan.(5)(8)

07 May 2012 18:04:47
Crystal Palace manager has outlined his plans for the summer as the management will look to add quality in the chase for promotion next season.

After missing out on Juan Lopez last summer, Real Madrid have recommended Jose Zamora to club. Details of this move will become clearer over the next month or two.

Other summer targets for Palace include:
Mustapha Dumbuya - Doncaster Rovers
Aleksander Tunchev - Leicester City
Martin Zeman - Admira Wacker
Markus Henriksen - Rosenborg
Rick Ten Voorde - RKC Waalwijk(3)(9)And those players will take you from 17th to promotion! I think not. It will be another fantastic season, culminating in a riase into mid table, if you'r lucky.

07 May 2012 18:04:22
Leicester! You're a laughing stock!!(28)(9)Get lost, Just because we got money !!Im a LCFC fan and I agree. No hope for next season unless survival is success.Thats a good rumour! Wasteman, was it really worth writing?

LeicesterLadWait till were top of the leagueYes you've got money but how far as it got you you've gone backwardsYeah youve got money but you cant spend it and stick to FFP...which you voted against.Support ur own club. Armchair fans.

07 May 2012 18:04:17
Derek McInnes has said in the local paper that he's interested in a No2 Goalkeeper, a left-back, a centre-back, a creative midfielder and a striker to replace Nicky Maynard

The centre back is likely to be Curtis Nelson from Plymouth Argyle and the creative midfielder may be Jody Morris from McIness old club St. Johnstone

Source: This is Bristol.co.uk(6)(4)Andy Williams of Yeovil could be the striker to replace Maynard, as he will be avalible on a free and can score plenty of goals with 17 this season, with a lower league 1 team is a great return.I wouldn't call Jody Morris a 'creative' midfielder. More of a defensive midfilder whose job it is is to break up opposition attacks.

07 May 2012 17:58:33
Brentford are set to sign matt Richie from Swindon, for an undisclosed fee(4)(21)Ha, Ha, Ha !

07 May 2012 17:41:17
I would like to c charlton sign the
following players for next season

Hope Akpan- Crawley (300k)
Liam Lawrence- Pompey (250k)
Charlie Austin- Burnley (3million)
Guy Demel- West Ham (2millionwith others going these players would
give us strengh in each position.

KAYLEM1300(1)(20)How would guy demel be ever worth 2million? hahaCouldnt afford wages of lawrenceAustin is unlikely - Demel isnt that good. Akpan unproven. We don't have the money to do that. Nor do we want to sign players who won't see Charlton as a step up; the key is also players who haven't players in the Premier League. Demel and Lawrence are too old; Austin is far too expensive; Akpan of those is the most "realistic". Lawrence isn't too bad a shout but still, all unlikely.

07 May 2012 17:37:34
Millwall mulling over whether to release both Mildenhall and Bouazza. Mildenhall was a more than capable stand in for Forde so is expected to stay, whereas Bouazza has a very bad attitude which Jackett is no longer willing to put up with(8)(1)

07 May 2012 17:36:12
LOL at the person who said Paul Green has no connections to Doncaster, he came through our academy and played here for 7 seasons(7)(6)Thought he came through at Sheffield Wednesday and you picked him up for free when they didnt offer him a deal.Probably right, but that's be side the point. That lad is Donny through and through

07 May 2012 17:30:49
Ed any southampton transfer news :) {Ed025's Note - yes mate..you are signing everyone!..apparently(11)(5)^^ lol

07 May 2012 17:26:27
Cardiff City want to sign Reading super sub Adam Le Fondre on a season long loan along with Josh McEachran from Chelsea.
Lawrence will sign full time for a fee between £185,000 and £200,000.
Cardiff also want to sign Bolton Wanderers' talented midfielder Chris Eagles if Bolton get relegated.(3)(19)Never going to happen. How about Simon Church? He'd fit in with the rest of your forwards. What is with all these rumours with Le Fondre leaving Reading? He is staying. He is a major part of our team and will play more games next season. If they want Church, I'll drive him there ..come back and clear his house, and drive that down to him as well...and I wont even ask for any petrol money ;-)Cardiff will just see who Watford are signing then hijack the deal. That is their scouting policy. After last nights performance you need 11 new players mate, blooody embarrisingThe biggest joke ever - why the hell would he go to a championship club and cardiff too - no chance

07 May 2012 17:15:32
Tottenham have enquired Lazio for Bosnian winger Senad Lulic. Spurs would bid for Lulic only if Bale is eventually transferred. The Bosnian player has been one of Lazio's best performers, until an injury prevented him to play in the last months.(4)(10)He is an interesting players, and he holds Swiss passport, so he wouldn't have problems getting a work permit. But he still has 4 years left in his contract with Lazio, so he would be hard to sign anyway.

07 May 2012 16:56:10
Shrewsbury Town are set to re-sign midfielder Will Richards from Knighton Town on a free transfer.(2)(5)

07 May 2012 16:37:43
My England squad for euro 2012
GK: Hart
GK: Foster
GK: Forster(really been impressed by him)

RB: Walker
RB: Richards
CB: Terry
CB: Smalling
CB: Cahill
CB: Shawcross
LB: Baines
LB: Cole

LM: Johnson
LM: Young
CM: Parker
CM: Gerrard(for experience)
CM: Leon Britton(I know sounds stupid but a great player)
CM: Wilshere
RM: Walcott
RM: Sinclair(he's lm but give him a go,he might do well)

ST: Rooney(only suspended for 2 games)
ST: Crouch
ST: Defoe
ST: Welbeck {Ed025's Note - leon brtton?? is stupid(3)(22)Leon britton? He has no experiance at all get Barry or Lamps there insteadHow is Britton (one of best passing ratios in the world) worth less of a punt than Sinclair? Hardly gonna win it so give good players tournement experience early. {Ed025's Note - no chance! Why even bother posting what you think the England squad will be? Its a rumour site.Swansea fan... why dont you tell us what the welsh squad should beOh here we go again, another one who picks names. People like Welbeck and Defoe haven't scored as many goals this season as say...Grant Holt who is the second highest scoring Englishman in the PL in a supposedly "smaller" team. Yes he's nowhere near as quick as the likes of Defoe but you've got Crouch in there haven't you? Opposition defenders in the PL can't cope with him and these are the best defenders in the world so why he is not worth a chance? How is defoe getting in there when he's barely started all season? that spot's going to Danny Sturridge, who also hasnt featured much, but does at least have starts next to his name. And mate, I'm sorry, but the day Grant Holt plays for England will be a very sad day for English football. I mean, we were embarrassed with Carroll, and he's not even that bad! English players (not just strikers) need to be able to PLAY, seeing as the vast majority of regulars are of this mould. Holt pushes defenders around and gets in fights, scoring occasionally from a fixed position. European defenders, coaches and referees will be beside themselves laughing. I think Norwich have got to come to terms with the fact that their best players are Paul Lambert and Delia Smith.Isn't Wilshere injured?I didnt think forster from celtic was english hmm wheres ruddy n welbeck hasnt scored goals serious?Wilshere crocked and with Welbeck struggling with fitness - need 1 more striker - leave sinclair and Welbeck (if inj) at home / take Carroll and Graham (if welbeck inj)This is why England will never win anything. Too much politics in the game and who gets picked. The team should be picked on current form and who has played well this season. After Rooney, Grant Holt comes a clear second as the best English forward this season. He has scored against all the big teams in the prem this season . He has 15 prem goals in only 23 starts. And u still think Crouch, Defoe and Welbeck are better? You're having a laugh if u do.It's sad to see people stereotyping players like grant holt. have you even seen him play? he is definitely capable of more then pushing people around and getting into fights! try researching a player before spouting off such nonsense.

$$$$ spurs have had a 26m offer for Lucas Moura accepted $$$$(7)(7)Would love to believe it's true but somehow I doubt it. Real are very much looking at him and I'm sure he would want to listen to any offer they might make before putting pen to paper anywhere else

derby to sign this summer:

pearce (notts county) - 500k
daly (dundee) - 750k
dixon (dundee) - free
jacobs (northampton) - free/compensation
russell (dundee) - 900k

I know people at the club and I can confirm these are our targets and the club our confident we can secure there signuratures.(2)(9)Might be targets but you wont get russell for that priceThese are the right targets but russell is
950k + 2 players and callum ball on loanRussell ( Dundee united you mean ) not dundee, big difference :)Russell will not be at derby.Nobody will get russell at that price,so dream on.1 - Daly, Dixon & Russell ALL play for Dundee United, not Dundee, you ignorant fool.
2 - Russell and Daly wont be leaving for anywhere near the amounts that you have quoted.
3 - Russell will sign for a Prem team OR a Championship team with a chance of promotion

07 May 2012 16:14:43
Jay Rodriguez (£6m), Matt Jarvis (£5m), Curtis Davies (£3.5m), Matt Phillips (£3m) and Mark Davies (£1.75m) are all on Nigel Adkins' transfer wish list.

Radhi Jaidi (retired), David Connolly (released), Lee Holmes (Swindon - free), Jonathan Forte (Stevenage - free), Aaron Martin (Swindon - loan), Lee Barnard (Sheff Wed - 500K) and Dan Seaborne (Bournemouth - loan) are all set to leave St. Mary's this summer.

Source very well placed at Southampton. Expect movement to start next week after players return from their celebratory holiday in Marbella.(14)(14)Your well placed source speaks a load of rubbish!
I suspect Saints signings will not focus upon Championship players and will probably be more weighted towards overseas players who may adapt to Saints style more quickly and be better value for money.
Whilst some of your "outs" look probable others are very dubious.
This whole selection looks very much to be the opinions of someone rather than based upon any facts. And it is unbelievable to me that Adkins will leak his intended targets-he never has and I hardly see him starting now.Not sure re the reliable source, celebratory trip is in Vegas! Last time I looked that was fair bit west of Marbella. Up until that point, sounded vaguely sensible compared to most of the recent Saints posts! You obviously have no clue the saints team is in las Vegas?? I'm a saints fan and as much as I would love to sign a couple of the players that are mentioned we all know the cortese and Adkins do their business quietly!Saints fan here, 2 posts above better check their Saints news again...They WERE going to Vegas but it got changed and they went to Marbella instead, its online so check for yourself. All the names this guy has said thats coming in have been reported in the paper and I know we should take it all with a pinch of salt, but they are all realistic targets for Saints. It wouldnt surprise me though if all the names said on this site are not signed and we go and sign a handfull of players that no one thought of. Cortese likes to keep his business quiet.Jarvis will go to a big club not a tin pot outfit like southamptonPost above sounds like a skate. Big LOL.Jarvis is staying unless we get offered stupid money for him n wolves value him more than 5milConnelly is speaking to Swindon, its only his high wage demands stopping the deal at the momentThey'll sign Roger Johnson and get relegated and that will be the end of these silly rumours... hopefully!

07 May 2012 16:13:47
John ruddy may be a consideration actually, having that season in the epl over Southampton's Davis?(1)(3)

07 May 2012 16:05:38
On McDermotts return from Marbella with the squad, he will be working with Nicky Hammond to make his first signing of the season, Gareth McCleary.

He has impressed all season, and a Reading scout was at the game when he netted for against Leeds.

Reading will be hoping to secure him ASAP.(6)(9)Yep, can back this one and saves me adding it. Deal expected to go through this week.

You're wrong though when you say he has impressed all season - no he hasn't; but he impressed in the latter stages and won Forest's POTS award.

Some Forest fans feel a bit agrieved he wants to move on but he wants a shot at the Premiership. Hard to stand in his way really, and if you rated him so highly in the first instance, why leave his contract to expire before offering him a new deal?

Good signing, Reading. You may be taking a big risk

07 May 2012 16:01:51
Burnley midfielder Steven Hewitt is in talks with Barnsley over a season long loan deal as the 18 year old seeks first team action away from Turf Moor.(4)(5)

07 May 2012 17:21:02
Luke Freeman reassures stevenage fans that he is going nowhere this summer.(5)(6)So he should, Arsenal didn't want him, we have taken him on, on a Two year deal, he should see if we make it in to the championship first before jumping shipAnd all five of them are glad he is staying.

07 May 2012 17:08:27
Peterborough are eyeing up 4 or 5 players to replace the 8 players transfer listed:

Alex Cisak in as Lewis and Jones have gone and Joe Day will step up to the bench this season.

A new right back to replace the departing Mark Little and challenge Craig Alcock.

A new holding mid, Barry Fry has admitted an interest in Michael Jacobs of Northampton Town or failing that the posh could renew there interst in Kane Ferdinand, cousin of Rio and Anton.

An centeral midfielder will be high on Fergusons wish list, Paul Coutts could make a return to London Road but posh would have to cough up 700-800k for him. Michael Bostwick interests peterborough but looks like he could move to a bigger club for alot more money.

And finally posh will look to replace there top scorer Paul Taylor with a new striker although many posh fans think Sinclair and Barnett will lead the front line in the 12/13 season!(1)(5)

07 May 2012 17:02:38
Following an indifferent season - Dean Whitehead is likely to be the best player linked with the championship this season - with almost half the clubs in the league interested in the player. Burnley, Ipswich, Leeds, Birmingham and Middlesbrough listed as admirers(5)(1)Please please please dont come to middlesbrough, hes awfull

07 May 2012 16:56:01
Neil Warnock has focused his attentions on CM with Darren Ambrose his top target following the sale of Howson and Clayton being transfer listed.(17)(4)When did Ambrose stop being a winger then?I heard we were linked with him, and he's worked with Warnock before. Great player, but a replacement for White? Uh oh.

Barnsley are in talks with Ipswich goalkeeper Arran Lee-Barrett after the Portman Road side accepted an undisclosed bid for the former Hartlepool stopper.(7)(1)If you want the petrol money to get him there I'm sure a few town fans would donate, most of the time a good shot stopper but not an organiser and always looks like making a clanger!

Parker. Britton/scholes

Walcot. Gerrard. Sinclair

Holt
Line up untill Rooney back, this team e would get us far, with p layers like lampard,Baines, coming in to change games,
Becks for experince
Chris!(5)(12)You are one fruitloop aint you? Pot = Bad. FOOL!Whos the goalkeeper Lewis ?!You talk rubbishGrant Holt. YES! Someone who actually knows his stuff! The England squad shouldn't be about simply who plays for the top clubs cos if it were a 5 year old could pick the team, we haven't got a hope in hell of winning the Euros so why not give these players a chance (Holt, Sinclair, Britton, etc). {Ed025's Note - how about because they are not good enough to represent england...we should pick the best players in the country!..and these guys dont even come close!!Beckham a non starter
plleeaasseBeckham, get realEd, like I said we haven't got a hope in hell of winning. The supposedly "best" players in the country have already proven that they're not good enough when it comes to pulling on the three lions shirt. After our "best" players have come home once again disappointed at the end of the group stage (probably), you will be among a large amount of people who will be wondering what could've been if our selection had been a bit more adventurous. So Ed, Grant Holt is not good enough to represent England? Have u been out of the country all season?? Cuckoo land? I'm guessing u ain't seen Holt play, so that's why u think he isn't good enough? {Ed025's Note - i have seen holt...average..Lewis in goal? joe lewis? couldnt even get into the first 11 at peterborough? give ruddy a chance second best goalkeeper this seasonWe will be piss poor whether we pick Holt or not so its not worth arguing about.Average holt? im a villa fan and i think he's better than bent and zamora tbh

Wycombe's Stuart Beavon is the latest player to turn down a move to Preston. Westley has not managed to get any of his targets to sign (rumored to be 7 so far).(3)(1)He must not want to work hard enough for his pay then i dont want him near my club if he does.nt westley wants hard workers. I as a fan am sick and fed up of shirkers at this club.Maybe it's time to work on your spelling!! NOBODY likes Westley and ant decent player will not want to sign for a club thats in massive debt and odd's on to sack the manager 4 or 5 games in next season...so it's free's from the non leagues for PNEWhen complaining of others spelling mistakes it maybe worthwhile checking your own, because it MIGHT make you look a little foolish otherwise.

07 May 2012 14:57:32
Readings attacking midfielder lawson D'ath to join newly promoted Crawley town on a perminant basis no chance of first team football at reading(4)(11)No neccesarily, he is still young and looks promising, just coz we went up doesnt mean we r gonna stop playing and bringging thru our youth players.Reading told Yeovil they wouldnt stand a chance of signing Lawson as he is one for the future! I think Yeovil have agreed in pricible to have him back on loan next season aswell!Reading rate D'Ath very highly. He's a young goalscoring midfielder.

There is absolutely no chance he will be allowed to leave the club. Possible loan to a Championship club though. No lower, as he really impressed in L1 this season.Performances up and down when I have seen him this season although believe he's a central midfielder rather than a winger as we have played him would love to see him back at Yeovil next season a year olderLoan seems likely though - with steve coppell as DOF at Crawley

07 May 2012 14:49:17
After flopping at QPR, Cisse looks set to move to Suffolk side Ipswich. Anton Ferdinand could follow after forming a bond with the ill discipline front man. Jordan Rhodes has gone on record saying his blood runs blue for ITFC and would love a return back to the South East. Robert Di Matteo, a friend of Jewell, has offered Ross Turnbull on loan and Carl Jenkinson of Arsenal is the subject of Jewell's first loan offer.

Ward, Ritchie, Caddis and Coppinger will not be making the move, as funds are created to make an audacious move for A-League's Kewell and Fowler.

Jewell feels this would create the perfect blend of youth and experience to mount an assault on mid table mediocrity next season.(1)(15)He hasnt really flopped has he ?Another deluded ipswich fan. Rhodes was born in Oldham and spent most of his childhood in Scotland. He would never come out and openly say he was an Ipswich fan especially as he has play off matches yet to play.5 goals in 7 flop, are you mad?? Wake up this isn't champ manager

Ed, any sheffield wednesday news? {Ed025's Note - not yet mate..(1)(2)Yep! You've bid £750k for Antonio.

Mixed feelings at this end but he never shone in the Championship for us.

Also Jordan Obita coming through and Garath McCleary coming in from Forest this week mean Antonio's chances are even slimmer.

Great club Wednesday! Good luck next season! Thanks for the info and good luck in the prem :)

Ricardo Fuller to sign for Cardiff City, as Kenny Miller has not performed well enough over the course of the season, also Liam Lawrence is to sign permanently after a successful loan spell at the Bluebirds.(6)(5)

07 May 2012 13:58:22
Kyle lafferty to Burnley for 750,000 as a replacement for Jay rod(8)(9)

07 May 2012 13:33:36
Blackburn and ex england keeper Paul robbinson will join west brom as part of the ewood clear out if Birmingham gain promotion as foster will go back to parent his club(2)(7)How can you sya when they have no manager?

07 May 2012 13:28:10
Blackburn striker goodwillie to join reading on a free when brfc get relegated tonight. Just talking to him as I'm a chef at ewood were they come for lunch and he said he can leave when they get relegated and his agent has been speaking with reading about a transfer. He will take a large pay cut from 45k to 15k but believes he will get more starts at reading(5)(19)Very much doubt a lot of this, and presume you are probably a reading fan. The club will not allow him to talk to another club about prospects if they get relegated. The negative morale impact that causes wouldn't be risked. Clearly know nothing. Another stupid rumour from a kid, shame it's a BH, should be in school. Not a chance ..def isnt the type of signing Reading are looking forI doubt Reading will be looking at a player that has been deemed surplus to requirements and not good enough, for an almost certain relegated team, of Blackburn.

TeejLUFCReading manager belives he is good enough, look at his goal to game ratio this season, speaks for it's self. Could have had a career at Blackburn but goodwillie plays more passing football not the hoof ball to the yak that Blackburn playWhat NONSENSE.

Reading look for a certain type of player. It's not always about status or big name.

They have to have the same mentality; i.e. hungry to succeed, team players, hard workers...

Goodwillie, though I rate him, is a trouble maker. There is no chance Reading would take him!Goodwillie is NOT a troble maker. All of his 3 convictions for assault have been in self-defence, hence the reason he has yet to receive any jail time.

07 May 2012 13:27:18
Anyone have a clue whose charltons kit sponsors for next season?(2)(3)Straightbackdown.comPampers cos there full of crapDoes anyone care??????Viagra cos we're staying up.I have heard more than once, just whispers, that it's O2. No clue really though.

07 May 2012 13:23:11
Jay Ed just said he will sign a new one year deal. Fingers crossed well offer him one instead of cashing in straight away(1)(2)

07 May 2012 13:21:33
Jay Rodriguez has spoken to a Burnley radio station (2br) and said that he would obviously love a move to a premiership club but would, if all other deals failed, signed a new 1 year deal with Burnley keeping him at the club to 2014. He said he understands people saying it could be to early to take the step up but would be stupid to turn down a deal.(10)(6)

07 May 2012 13:16:47
also if Sheffield United fail to win the
play-offs Ipswich will look to sign Matthew
Lowton a player they have previously shown significant interest in.(6)(3)

07 May 2012 13:16:43
Nigel Adkins is scouting far and wide in a bid to improve his squad ahead of next season, although the club's preference is for young, hungry and predominanty English players.

With that said, Curtis Davies of Birmingham is a target, as the Sun have reported this morning. Fee reported to be £3m and any move dependant on Birmingham's success (or lack of) in the playoffs.

Matt Jarvis remains at the top of Adkins' wishlist, with a bid of £6m on the table. Wolves unwilling to negotiate until the end of the season, however.

Burnley's Jay Rodriguez continues to attract interest, with the Saints having failed to sign the young striker in the past two transfer windows. A bid upwards of £6m will be required for the Turf Moor outfit to part with their star striker.

With big ambition and the funds to match, it will be an exciting summer for all Saints fans!(9)(9)A rumour in The Sun, must be gospel then....ive wiped my behind with better paper than The Sun. {Ed025's Note - dead right! This is what Ive heard too and in my opinion these are realistic for Saints. Just wait for the "Deluded" messages to appear soon.Whilst Adkins may be interested in one or two of these players there does seem to be a lot of Saints supporters who think signings will largely come from the Championship clubs. OK these are players you watched during the season but are they going to do well in the Premiership? Also, are we just going to look at Premiership players from clubs relegated-if they were that good why were their clubs relegated?Have heard up this way we are asking for 8 million for jarvis.Asking and getting are two different things!
Quite a number of clubs interested in Jarvis but their valuation appears more like £5m.

07 May 2012 13:13:10
Ipswich set to sign Tomasz Kuszczak,
Joel Ward, Sylvan Ebanks-Blake, Magnus
Okuonghe, Bilel Mohsni, Gary Madine,
Michael Bostwick, Stephen Gleenson and
Jack Hunt as Paul Jewell looks to the
lower leagues for some gems to avoid
paying over inflated wages.(9)(14)Lower leagues?? all of these players are either championship or prem rejectsSo what sort of a wage do you think ebanks blake is on at wolves you muppet ? - It will be a damn site more than what ipswich can affordSo Ipswich are set to sign 9 more players to add to the magnitude of players they bought in last year. I don't think PJ will make the same mistake as last year. Sounds like he will be doing a Grayson Quantity over Quality.

TeejLUFCMost of the players bought in last year were on short term deals or have been released, Jewell has already sounded out 4 of the players listed with 2 of the deals set to go through in the next fortnight, the rest are subject of enquiries with positive feedback from the clubs and agents in question, also all of the players are either free or currentley in l1 or l2 apart from Madine who was l1 this year now championship and ebanks-blake who is now a championship player, most are the right age for a younger determined push for a top 6 place before the financial fair place rules with punishment comes into place effectiley making the premier league a closed of group with the increase in parachute payments meaning relegated teams will have a huge advantage over the rest of the league creating a bigger yo-yo team enviroment coinciding with the academy restructuring resulting in the top teams being able to steal and hoard lower leagues best young talent leaving smaller teams behind as they won't be able to buy or have young player to sell once they reach the age at which they can sign professional tertmsJack hunt wont go to ipswich,Only a stupid team would let good players leave.like rhodes for instance, now who was it that let him go for a song ?

07 May 2012 12:36:38
Mowbray looking at a back up keeper, Steve Harper most likely option.

Defence is depending on others signing new deals or departures.

A host of midfield options including the realistic signings of Kane Ferdinand, Kemy Augustien, Grant Leadbitter, James Coppinger and/or Robert Koren. George Boyd is on the list but most likely out of budget.
Winger Danny Swanson from Dundee also.

Will Keane loan deal in place. Interest in Simon Cox, Lee Novak & Zoko.

No major surprises out, people sniffing around but could all easily change with one phone call.(2)(4)Why not get ikeme for 750000

07 May 2012 13:01:42
ipswich set to sign Tomasz Kuszczak,
Joel Ward, Sylvan Ebanks-Blake, Magnus(7)(12)Tomas k is signing for Watford you muppets..you can have scott loach

07 May 2012 12:15:44
Championship rumours:

Derby to sign Heidar Helguson for a fee between 150k-300k

Crystal Palace to sign both Chris Martin and Simeon Jackson from Norwich for a combined fee of 2mil

Blackpool looking at Stephen Dobbie on a permanant basis plus Steven Naismith from Rangers.(9)(10)Helguson wont go to derby fact!2 million for Martin eah well that's what this garbage suggests as Simeon Jackson is a free agent in the summer.H H still lives in Watford & his family are settled so why move , Watford will prob sign him

07 May 2012 11:50:35
Derby are looking to strengthen their
squad with four signings:

Jack Robinson - Liverpool- Loan
Michael Jacobs - Nothampton- 350k
Marc Pugh- Bournemouth - 350k
Jon Daly - Dundee Utd - 500k(18)(12)Jacobs is out of contract!Robinson is a star of the future at Liverpool. Very highly rated indeed. We arient getting jack robinson because
liverpool told him that he will feature alot
more as cover for enrique and clough
needs to buy a left back not one on loan thats why hes getting Paul dixon.
Its Johnny russell not john daly. Why would he get both michael jacobs and marc pugh they are both wingers he needs one winger for the right side and
Michael jacobs is who is the more likely with only a compensation fee and Marc pugh has set his sights on home town club burnley. Then the 4th signing would be a defender as cover or to break through to first team and Clough has massive interest in Krystian Pearce from
Notts county.

There are your 4 signings but as someone has put further down this site
we have signed 10-15 youth players
including Charlie telfer and Alex websterThey might be all correct apart from Marc Pugh, i can't see derby signing him unless we sell B.Davies.350k for Jacobs is compensation fee as he is under 24

07 May 2012 11:45:23
THE PLAYER HAVING A MEDICAL IS MCLEARY. 100% OFFICIAL AS I HAVE JIST SEEN HIM AND IT'S BEEN CONFIRMED BY RECEPTION AND FRIEND IN THE CLIB SHOP {Ed025's Note - and this is sunderland is it?(8)(22)Who is mcleary? do you mean mcgeady?I saw Darren Gough at Appleby Magna McDonalds once. He's on about Gareth mccleary from forest. He is really talented but really inconsistent. Was in Reading this week and is expected to sign this week.

07 May 2012 11:44:36
Sunderland ins:

Carroll
Gameiro (swap deal for sessegnon)
Hoilett or Johnson
Moses
Milner (loan with option to buy if sessegnon deal goes ahead)
Fabio
Clark
Abonglhor (if sessegnon deal doesn't go ahead)

Sunderland outs:

Gyan
Gordon
Sessegnon (swap deal)
Richardson
McCarthy
Gardner
Bramble
Larson (maby)
Campbell(1)(29)Not one of the so called ` ins ` is going to join a lower to middle table side. Deluded is the word here.Ha deluded isn't the word gabby a is probably the only one that may happen expect o'neil to be splashing out on the likes of heskey, Davies and David Dunn as realistic targetsI don't think we woild get all of them but I'd say at least half of them would come, lower midtable side?? obvious a bitter geordie who is still crying after Man City ended their champs league delusion at the ASDA Stadium yesterday! I'd have 10m and gamerio for sess not just a straight swapIll drive Gabby up to Sunderland if you pay my petrol money but no way is Clark leaving

07 May 2012 11:36:14
Preston are desperately trying to tie Danny Mayor down to a long term deal with Charlton and Sheff Wed both after him.

Westley also looking to ship out Coutts and Craig Morgan back to Peterborough and bring in Joel Byrom from Stevenage and Marc Richards from Port Vale.(11)(11)

07 May 2012 11:33:54
People on here saying Millwall is a smaller club then there championship team yet you want forde hendry trotter and josh wright who only signed this season and has played cracking so dont think he will be going anywhere.. i mean 2 mill for trotter 3 mil plus for hendry and sold morrison for 3 million and saying we dont have money..im sure are highest paid player is on under 10k we buy players and make millions selling them and still stay in the championship.. cahill..sheringham..keller...whitbread say no more... things look good for next season :)(5)(11)No more a breeding ground for success than say Watford (Barnes / Young / Graham makes your list look a bit 3rd rate) - the reason people don't like you (yes we know you don't care) is because you are such an unpleasant bunch and even imagining that Henry or trotter are worth half what you say is deluded - Morison fee was half what you quoted by the way!Im fed up with people slagging Millwall off too. Watford may have at last have a few yuong stars but at the end of the day aint nothing specail either. I take my family to games two girls of 6 and 4, and never once have we had issues witht he behaviour. Judgemental people get right on my wick!

07 May 2012 11:32:04
Any Middlesbrough fc news? {Ed025's Note - not at the moment mate..(5)(6)

07 May 2012 11:22:41
"As Bigirimana has signed a four year deal, and is first team he won't go for less then 3,000,000 and Newcastle are interested."

----------------------------

Coventry are a League One team, with massive operating costs and owe money to their owners.

Bigi is available for £500,000 and likely to move to Burnley.(11)(7)Why would he move to Burnley a team with massive debt that will have to sell its best players. If he goes it will be to Newcastle or one of the other premiership teams that have scouted him this season.Just a note numpty...burnley do not have any debt....facts!! facts!! facts!!

07 May 2012 10:46:11
Yeovil are set to make a double loan swoop. Jake Sinclair and Luke Shaw will join up with the glovers until December from Southampton.

Sinclair is the younger brother of Swansea's Scott but is yet to play for the first team, however the striker was the u21's top scorer. Whilst Shaw is a highly rated full back. being chased by chelsea and arsenal. Shaw turned out twice for Saints in theF.a Cup this season(6)(8)Sorry Yeovil absolutely no chance....Shaw is rated a better prospect than a certain Mr Bale and SFC have already turned down bids if 4m+ and they expect Shaw to be first team this or next season..Shaw has only made 2 cup appearances this season? is that it? surely he wont be playing in the prem next season?Very realistic both players have minimal experience so would imagine they'd go on loan at some point next season with a view to them have first team involvement during the 2013/14 season. Can't wait for some of them to break into first team Sinclair, shaw also ward-prowse and many others very good times for saints fansITS A LOAN... not permanent, its hat players like jake and luke need, league 1 is hard division for two 17 year olds ...Shaw is a good prospect but there is no way we will put him in our first team this season, we are going to need all the exsperience we can get this season. I would imagine the original post is probable correct. However i reackon they will go to a Championship club. Also add James Ward Prowse, Jack Stephens and Calum Chambers to the list of plyers to go out on loan this season.Yeovil may have a left back and a striker from Saints = but more likely to be a Mr Dickson and Barnard !!!Whilst I agree that Shaw is a heck of a prospect there comes a time when any prospect needs to play competitive football ahead of making it into the first team-so a loan until Christmas could make sense. Remember, Saints first team will be playing against the likes of Man. U and Man. City and I don't care how good you are, no player will be thrown into that without an apprenticeship in competitive football. I could see a loan as part of this education.

07 May 2012 10:37:09
Steve Evans says he is going to
smash rotherham uniteds record
transfer fee more than once wonder
who those players could be?????(4)(12)Oh no....Im afraid thats all he knows. Spend a fortune and worry about the finances later. Rotherham, you dont need this. I remember albeit a few years ago, you had serious financial problems and came out the other side and have established yourself as a good league side, and in my view, definately in the wrong league, but not at a financial cost. Rotherham wereone of my teams for promotion next year. I just hope in the right way (Yes Crawley have gone up this season but letslook at next season and their finances - could be a nightmare)Giles coke & Richard O'donnell to join you from Wednesday is the rumour around Sheffield at the momentDont know any players available for £100There are no players involved, he will simply sit on the transfer record shattering it to pieces, worst move Rotherham could have made employing him, now you will be as hated as Crawley were with that vile slug in chargeI am afraid thats true evans will blow your finances and you could end up as waste of money he say's things then annoy's the hell out of people about transfers had to sell tubbs and bennet as crawley are struggling financially and with evans at the helm rotherham will end up the same way p.s. don't forget the wage capWhats odds on the it being a jelaous piggy making out rotherham have no money and i have heard the rumor that giles coke and o'donnell are coming to rotherham see u in 2013/2014 in leauge 1 wednesday

07 may 2012 10:28:20

07 May 2012 10:27:40
Manchester United and Tottenham are the favourites to land Crewe wonder-kid Nick Powell. United's scouts have told Ferguson to sign him.(11)(3)Ferguson went to watch him saturdayIf you was nick you would want to play first team football so manu or spurs he should go to a championship club like derby were he would play every week then in a couple of years he will be ready for prem.

07 May 2012 09:57:34
Dean Saunders is keen to rebuild
the Doncaster squad and reports in
Hondorous are linking Ramon Nunez
with a possible move. nunez is allowed
to leave Leeds after starting just 10
mathces in around 2 years for Leeds.(14)(8)Thats about his level. Would be decent in league 1 but isnt quick enough, too lightweight and shot happy for the championship.

LUFCTeejComplete luxury player, you'll like him at first because he isn't afraid to shoot, then after a few games you'll realise he wastes possession with pointless shots from 40 yards

07 May 2012 09:57:07
Paul Dixon of Dundee United to Bristol City.
Derby and Millwall also interested in the left back(9)(7)

07 May 2012 09:55:46
Brentford are holding talks with Ipswich About signing Michael chopra(7)(34)Dont be silly we cant afford his wages {Ed015's Note - It would be a gamble.}

07 May 2012 09:55:30
Paul green will return to Doncaster
after leaving Derby WATCH THIS SPACE.(8)(17)Favourite to join a couple of Championship teams, so i very much doubt that.

LUFCTeejThat is bullstI agree he has no connexion to Doncaster so this is an odd rumourNo connection , except he played 7 seasons for DRFC . DOH ...Still don't think it will happen though.

07 May 2012 09:54:53
Danny Rose of Tottenham has been
linked with a loan move back to his
beloved club doncaster. Danny moved
from Doncaster to Tottenham as a lad
and is looking forward to the prospect
of been re united with some old friends.(6)(22)He never played for Doncaster he is a Leeds ladIn league 1 really?Danny rose went from Leeds to tottenhamI thought Danny Rose from Leeds? He came from leedsYou really must get the backround of a player right, rose started at leeds, went from leeds to tottenham.Danny Rose went from Doncaster to Tottenham?? i dont think so pal. He was at Leeds Academy and has never played for Doncaster in his professional career.

LUFCTeejHe went from Leeds, but he is a Donny ladHe means donny to leeds... he was born in doncasterTypical Doncaster comment. Yes, you pick up most of Leeds' academy rejects, but Rose wasn't rejected, he was poached outright by CHELSEA, before moving to Tottenham. Check facts before you go yammering.Came from Leeds utd.. Not Doncaster ......He never went to chelsea either you tool!!!! he rejected chelsea to stay at leeds, he only left leeds as they has no money! get the facts right.Don't you mean Donny might take Barnsley's youth striker also called Danny Rose on loan? What a load of tosh he went from leeds, this rumour has been plucked out of the air

07 May 2012 09:53:05
Doncaster are keeping tabs on
Shrewsbury town winger John Taylor.
The 19 year old would welcome a
move from rovers(11)(17)How do you know he'd welcome a move to Rovers?!Hes my cousin and we disscussed over tea and biscuits.Theyll be in the same league so why move! Well you can't spell his name right, so I very, very highly doubt that.It would cost them big money, which they dont have!

07 May 2012 09:43:45
swindon are looking at taken southamptons No2 polish keeper(13)(8)You dont knw the name. . . Must be trueSo are BarnsleyBartosz Biakowski must be the guy your on about. would be a great capture as several Championship teams are after him. He's been on Barnsleys radar for a couple of years since having an emergency 2 week loan at Oakwell 3 years ago.It was David James last week.
Is he breathing, does he have legs....Swindon are going to sign themPossible, depending if saints sign a new goalkeer during the window as most prem teams have 3 goalkeepers I think Bart would be third choice but I don't see us getting rid of him maybe a loan.

Tommy forecast on the other hand you could have for a snickers bar he gets payed for doing nothing and is useless i

07 May 2012 09:40:18
Magnus Okuonghae will leave Colchester United in the summer when his contract runs out and will join Watford on a free transfer.(4)(3)As a replacement for Adrian Mariappa who is going to Reading.

07 May 2012 09:34:41
Claudio Ranieri fuelled speculation he could be West Brom next manager when he revealed he would be 'a good bet' for the job during a televison interview.(6)(12)

Hodson Nosworthy mariappa Dickinson

Hog eustace

Murray mginn Paul-Taylor

Deeney(3)(20)

07 May 2012 09:29:03
After both goalkeepers Jones and Lewis have left peterborough. They are tring to sign Olejnik from Torquay after having an outstanding season with the Gulls(10)(5)Thats risky a goalie from two leagues down in the championship. could be a great idea but id get someone else on loan just in case

07 May 2012 09:27:17
Brighton, Barnsley, Bristol City and Watford are chasing Southamptons polish 'keeper Bartosz Bialkowski who is able to leave the club on a free transfer.(4)(13)Great keeper just needs match practiseCan't see him leaving on a free though while a loan is probably more likelyHE IS WORSE THAN BREZOVAN, ANKERGREN AND GONZALEZ, WHY WOULD WE GO FOR HIM? EXPLAIN..Barnsley don,t want him we had him on loan and he was crap.Above poster - He is out of contract next month so if he does not resign it will be a freeHe is a calamity -no thanks

07 May 2012 09:23:11
Norwich are set to sign the new lionel
messi. Jonny Hayes a young wing
wizard with inverness.
Aberdeen have targeted him but the
lure of premier league will clinch the
deal. Terry Butcher wont be happy but
wont stand in the players way(10)(20)So because he is doing well in the SPL, he is the new messi? You realise the SPL is a joke? Only Celtic is good enough to MAYBE take a prem spot, possibly go championship. So considering most english teams have been ste this year against european teams, that leads me to believe he is nothing like messi.New Messi ? im sure he will be delighted to be called that, decent wee player when he is on his game, but new Messi ? not even closeThe SPL makes people like Samaras look like Cantona. Wouldnt get too excited from any prospect from the SPL.

LUFCTeejWe had Hayes for a while at Leicester. However good his development since, he is NOT the 'new Messi' I can assure you!I goto Caley games, this guy is Dog Messi!! Seriously, not even League one standardHayes has been around a bit, started at Reading then moved on to Northampton and Cheltenham. Never quite worked for him at asny of those but have watched him a few times up here at Inverness and while he has been pretty good for them, I could only see him at a mid table Championship side.He is awful just because he did well in scotland does not mean he is top class when he played for leicester a couple of years back he was awful and we were in league one.

07 May 2012 09:21:27
Enoch Showunmi has been released by
Tranmere but is no major loss. Moores

07 May 2012 07:43:45
Torquay's Eunan O'Kane is likely to join Watford in the next few weeks. Swindon are very keen to land O'Kane but he wants to join a Championship club, not League 1. O'Kane will cost Watford £200,000.(7)(12)Where he will get 1 match and thats it

07 May 2012 07:36:09
Northampton striker Adebayo Akinfenwa has emerged as a shock transfer target for Manchester City {Ed025's Note - tut tut..(19)(36)Hes 30 in 3 days and at man city hell get 1 game and retire at the end of the season

07 May 2012 07:25:54
Ipswich to sign Paul Gallagher for £750,000 and Sol Bamba for £1million both from Leicester City.(17)(28)

07 May 2012 07:05:14
6 million for an untried div 1 player.
Really can't see that Jordan Rhodes may be a good player but 6 million. Surely that should have read £600,000. He'd to to a bigger club like Reading for that price(16)(10)That's what people said about Oxlade-Chamberlain and look how great he has done for Arsenal this seasonHe is worth more than £6m .and he certainly wont be going to a cannon fodder team.

07 May 2012 06:38:34
all this busines about Dicanio leaving???
Is all total crap,as was in Swindon advertiaer he is looking to keep 2 players he has on loan, plus talks with boaard next week for again promotion season to championship.
Therefor all these stories of him leaving ate totally wrong(6)(13)If a bigger team comes in for him he will be off. That is football factI'd expect him to plan for the future because he's had no offers, but when a big club comes in for him he'll be gone. He's not going to stay at Swindon forever, i'm afraid.

07 May 2012 06:28:50
Mark Hughes is keen to link up again with David Bentley if the former Blackburn man can prove his fitness.(13)(8)

07 May 2012 06:20:38

liverpool will buy
Gaston ramirez
luuk De jong
junior hoilett
and
tello
all are young and fit the americans transfer policy plus hoilett and tello are availible on fress(12)(19)So what policy is that, blow as much money as possible on average playersThey seem like good additions, I am not sure they fit Kenny's criteria as the are mostly foreign and as we know.Barc wont let tello go

07 May 2012 01:54:25
Substitute Goalkeeper, Jonathan Tuffey to leave Caledonian Stadium.

JT was on high wages and also wasn't getting regular 1st team games so decided to leave Inverness Caley.

We will find a replacement though.(4)(2)

07 May 2012 01:26:54
Reading have also been scouting Real Madrid's Jack Harper for the last couple of seasons. They are not in a position where they feel the youngster would be ready to play in the Premier League but have been in talks with the Spanish side who are not against the young winger spending time on loan. If he continues developing at the current rate then Brian McDermott has first option on taking the youngster across to Berkshire for at least part of the 2013/14 campaign.(4)(15)Is Stan Butler his driver? Is this accurate? Sky Sports reported that Elliot Kebbie was the only English player currently plying his trade in La Liga. Scottish, Welsh or Irish I suppose.Harper is Scottish

07 May 2012 01:21:05
Bayern Munich have not exercised the option to sign Gamba Osaka's Takashi Usami. He remained with the second string until the end of the season but will return to the Japanese side who have conceded that he will be off in the summer. Reading had scouts in Germany watching Dale Jennings' comeback, with a view of taking him on loan next season. Reading were impressed that, despite clearly being not 100% fit, there were signs he is recovering well from injury. The newly promoted side are aware that he has struggled to settle in the area which would prompt Bayern letting him leave to gain first team experience in the Premier League. They are in open dialogue with Bayern Munich but he is not one of Reading's key targets.
During the game they were particularly impressed by Usami and have already contacted his parent club about taking him on trial during the summer, but fear that in the event they wanted to sign the young forward he would fail to receive a work permit(7)(5)

Charlton targets:
.anthony Wordsworth (almost done deal)
.paul coutts
.antonio (but will have to fight off Sheffield Wednesday for his signature considering he has had a successful loan stint)
.oliver palmer (young non league player will have to compete with many clubs to get the youngster)
.robert earnshaw (Cardiff looking to offload him)
.matt Ritchie (will have to pay a very high fee to get Swindon to sell)
.matt mills (long shot but charlton are hoping that the lack of first team football at Leicester could tempt him to a move to south London)
.lucas piazon (another long shot but Chelsea also located in London are hoping to send the youngster out on loan close by so he doesn't have to relocate as he is still settling in England)
Charlton outs:
Jason euell (afc Wimbledon)
Leon Clarke (Crawley)
Yann kermorgant (Celtic) charlton feel that 1m is a lot considering he is almost 31 and Powell is planning for the future
Michael smith (season long loan to accrington following a decent spell before it got cut short because of injury
Also will put joe pigott, Callum harriot,Yado mambo and jordan cousins out on loan to non-league sides(7)(13)You wont waste your whole budjet on mills he cost us 5 mil5 million isn't the charlton budget it is rumoured to be more than double thatRumoured. . . Matt mills wont drop to a newly promoted team, so charlton are gna waste half the budjet on 1 player if its true? NopeYann kermorgant isnt leaving because he loves charlton and wants to finish his contract or sign a new one plus cafc are promoted as champions so he will get higher wages probably. If celtic wanted him they should have got him in summer!!Hate to rain on your parade but Anthony Wordsworth states today in local paper that he is looking forward to playing next season in Colchester,Leon Clarke, Charlton have just got rid of him, they signed him from Chesterfield, so your rumour falls apart.....just like the rest of the rubbish youve placed on here..................."Leon Clarke, Charlton have just got rid of him, they signed him from Chesterfield, so your rumour falls apart.....just like the rest of the rubbish youve placed on here." acually we got him from Swindon and he has now been released along with 5 others. No matter how much Leicester paid for Matt Mills if he's not part of the plans (and it doesn't look as if he is, after falling out with Pearson) he will be let go. The best offer will then win though IF the player likes the club, Lisburn Distillery may offer good money but he wont go there will he? So Charlton where his ex-coach is now manager looks like a good shout, nothing is certain of course, but it is a good shout.

Craig Mackail-Smith is being tracked by Peterborough as Brighton are ready for him to move on after a disappointing season for the striker. A fee of around 2 million has been mentioned although that is less than the 3.5 million Brighton paid Posh only 12 months ago.(9)(17)

My mate (won't disclose his name for obvious reasons) plays for Southampton u21's and he is good friends with Alex Oxlade chamberlain. I was speaking to him the otherday about saints transfers and he was speaking to AOC on Thursday last week (3 may) and he told my mate that Aaron Ramsey was asking him about the Southampton set up and what it was like down there, the area, the players, manager etc. AOC told my mate he thought ramsey might be coming in on loan to saints for the first part of next season. This is only AOC opinion but given ramsey's recent poor form and saints' reputation producing and nurturing youngsters plus the way they play it doesn't seem like a totally ridiculous statement.(9)(36)^^ lolSaints fan. Think we are going to get absolutely slated for the above rumour!

Not to add wood to the fire but the lad who wrote it seems pretty strong on his 'story' and doesn't seem to be making to much of a wind-up attempt and has tried to justify the rumour. Wouldn't have believed it but I might just put this one in the maybe pile.

Unlikely but outside chance, because it wouldn't be a terrible move for Ramsey since Arsenal will be looking to bring back in Wilshere next season and probably won't be room for both young players to start (need so experience in midfield). Whether Wenger and Ramsey will see it that way is a totally different story!

And please this is a rumours page so don't people come on here and start slating it saying Saints fans are being arrogant, If you asked Saints fans if they thought this would happen 100 out of 100 would say it wouldn't, but would be hopeful that it might.Who cares if we get slated as Saints fans,
it is, as has been said a rumours site, most of what's on here is just fun,why don't we just have a laugh, enjoy being Saints fans,a lot are quite envious of us,look forward to the signings that will in time come, and wait impatiently for the start of our Premiership season.
I love Saints.Yes, another Saints fan, but one who can't see such a possibility as arrogant.
Next season Saints will be playing Arsenal and we will need a team capable of beating them so I doubt if the club will bring in no hopers. Saints will only bring in Players that enhance the squad and we already have some good, young midfielders who will do well next season, so Ramseys quality is what we will be looking for.
HOWEVER, it has been Saints recent policy not to bring in loan players unless they have lack of cover through injury. The reasons for this are clear and I don't see that changing in the Premiership, and the club has the structure and funds to find and sign players so I would be surprised if incoming loans are being considered at the moment.

Ipswich to make an audacious attempt to snap up free agent Dimitar Berbatov in the summer on a Bosman. Dimitar has recently stated that he is "bored of Premier League football and fancies a new challenge" maybe Ipswich is his new home and the Championship is the new challenge he so desperately craves. Talks with the Tractor Boy's CEO Simon Clegg will commence come the end of the season. Sir Alex Ferguson has gone on record to wish Dimitar the "best of luck in his future endeavors" and thanks him for his "commitment and passion to Man Utd but as he is surplus to requirements he simply won't be needed any more." {Ed025's Note - hmmm.....really??(3)(33)HA,HA,HA, Thanks for that best joke in a long while.Isn't a Bosman for players under 24?After all, £100,000 week is nothing to Ipswich. Why do you bother100k pw? Has he had a pay cut?I've no idea how much Berbatov is on, just a tongue in cheek comment with regards to the financial impossibilites of this rumour bearing any sort of credit.

Heard from a very reliable source, within
the club, that Paolo Di Canio does want
to stay at swindon and the decision will
be made regarding his transfer budget
for next season, both him and wray have
stated that they want brilliant things
next year, so i think keeping Paolo is no
problem!

Swindon Put in a 160,000 Bid for Tourquays
O'kane, and yesterday had scouts watching
cheltenhams Marlon Pack,(15)(2)Yes it is believable but di canio said it all revolves around the board backing him in the same fashion as this season, that means any player he says he wants the board have to make a big effort to get them. What he is saying back him or there could be problems.

Chris Wilder can not believe the growing calls from Oxford fans for him to go. He apparently commented that they should remember it was not long ago that they were non league and that it would perhaps serve them right if he moved on and they returned there!!

Maybe he should remember that the fans could well dictate whether he stays in a job and should not alienate those that have not yet joined the chorus of "Wilder Out"(2)(5)He could be on his way to Burton anyway

strong rumour at the MOL that Darren
(son of Fergie) is in line to become wolves new boss(10)(13)What has fergie jnr done
at peterbrough
not alotThat would be a step backwards for wolvesPlease god no.Did I just seriously read that? Quote: 'What has fergie jnr done at peterbrough not alot'. Peterborough have one of the lowest finances in the League and nobody gave us a hope of staying up after we sold CMS in the summer and lost Bennett in January. We stayed up by 10 points, that in itself is a great acheivment. All of this was done with only one player above the age of 27 and overall very little Championship experinece compared to the rest of the league. At PNE he was not given a chance by the fans as they expected Peterborough style miracles from him. If Fergie does leave it is fully deserved and I will be absoultely gutted to see him go. 3 promotions in 4 years speaks for itself, he dragged us out of the s and made us a very decent competitive side. Such a disrespectful comment you should be embarrased.Could get a few on loan from united like fabio and pogba

06 May 2012 18:30:08
a host of premiership clubs are after leicester highly rated winger ben marshall the 21 year old scored 3 times for leicester since arriving from stoke in january for 1 million including that 35 yarder against chelsea in the fa cup and is thought to be a future england star. sunderland, qpr, liverpool, reading, southampton, blackburn, aston villa, everton, norwich are all interested but they may all be put off by the 10 million price tag that leicester want for him. it is thought clubs a willing to offer player plus cash deals and nothing more has been said yet despite norhich apparently offering 3.5 million plus steve morrison and elliot bennet.(4)(15)Seems overratedFuture England star? 10 million? Besides the 4 goals (2 of which took major deflections) he has done very little, the occasional decent cross, but at 21 years old he's gone beyond having the promise of a Premiership star. Oh and I'm a Leicester fan before anyone starts.

Has the take over been agreed? Just asking as I really hope so?
If it has where is this rumour coming from ?
Love Reading fc just hope the premier league fit n proper people say yes to TSI. Taking over.
I've watched Reading almost merged with Oxford .
Seen crowds of 30,000 plus watch reading I just have a sneaky feeling were gonna be big so fast due to our catchment area
So let's have some realistic rumours on signings and take overs let me know your thought?.(4)(10)Apparently adam le fondre is going to leicester for 2 millionIf the premier league dont let TSI takeover it is to the benefit of us, dont hope they say yes hope they do their job right. at the end of the day if TSI dont take over because of this it is a good thing as the money would not be thereWhat fit & proper person test....the one they've got now is a joke!!Reading? Big? Tinpot club mate. Try getting some history.History? We were formed in 1871! We are one of the oldest teams going. We are making history right now. We have the championship points record. To win the title this season we took something like 47 points from 53.

There are big teams about who have won many titles and trophies like Leeds and Forest but what's the difference between them and Reading? They'll be playing championship football next seasonwe'll be playing Premiership football.

Basically what I'm saying is quit living in the past.

WE ARE PREMIER LEAGUE!!

defender rather than a slow midfielder.
This is because the absense of Shaun
Barker has Made Nigel need extra
cover with only shackell and buxton
with experience. He feels its a cheaper
option to keep Addison than let him
go for free.

Nigel has only had a meeting this
dosent mean addison is staying(4)(5)

Watford and Sheffield Wednesday are interested in Preston's Danny Mayor. Watford look in pole position after Watford scouts have watched him for the past few months and Sean Dyche went to see him play on Saturday. Preston are expecting a bid in the coming week.(13)(1)Unless u got a million or 2 no one will get him and before anyone says pne have no money belive me hemmings will push the boat out to get pne back to the championshipIt's a shame that the boats' got a big hole in it called Graham Westley that will see that investment sink. Most of the "talent" at PNE is up for sale as Graham looks for Bosmans, free's and loans from footballing giants like Shrewsbury & Stevenage. Around £200k should buy Mayor. It's Coutts & Hume that most clubs will be after, will be sorry to see them go!Are u for real 200k get a grip more like 1,5 mill

man utd are to enquire about the availability of swanseas scott sinclair and southamptons morgan schneiderlin.(5)(34)After todays performance...can't see any team being interested in SinclairThey have missed the boat with Schneiderlin. Why would he want to move on now Saints are in the Premiership when he stayed loyal over recent years of relegation and then fighting to get there?
He will stay at Saints and will be a real star over the next couple of years.Because they're Manchester United? fair enough being loyal and all that but they won the top division more than any other team. when a team like that come knocking at your door you dont say no. anyway its b/s so you have no need to worryIve actually heard this too, man utd meant to bid 5-6 million plus michael owen or berbatov? maybe..The last deal would be a good deal but le tiss always stayed loyal so can be doneAnd heskey

Sources within anfield say on liverpools radar for a summer spree to strengthen their squad are:
- elm
- Adam Johnson
- Defoe
- Owen
- Xabi alonso
- Isla

But I order to find these moves, some dead weight has to be sold, these include:
- spearing
- aurelio
- jones
- kuyt
- cole
- maxi(15)(17)Why would these players come to a mid table premier league team, who have been on the decline for years and with daglish in charge are just sinking further and further away from competing at the top of the premier leagueWhy are lot of rumours
saying owen going here
and there
he s injury prone and
past it

wait for the Bombshell,Dicanio set to leave Swindon this week.west Ham or WBA are favourites.Wait and see(15)(19)Think it will happen. Done great at Swindon but he see's far bigger clubs with more potential. I hope Swindon well in Division 1 next season. Saw them play a few games this season and very good team. Just hope that they have not gone over board with the cash this season.Think it will happen. Done great at Swindon but he see's far bigger clubs with more potential. I hope Swindon well in Division 1 next season. Saw them play a few games this season and very good team. Just hope that they have not gone over board with the cash this season.YAAAWWWWNNNN!! Again with the crap. If you are so sure go and stick a few hundred quid on it. PDC is not going any where YET, yes he will move on...but he will have another season with Swindon first.I agree he's done a good job but yes overboard with their spending wage's and loan signings don't reflect their income could struggle financially this season and PDC will want outWhere did you hear that rubbish.....He's not leaving Swindon, he's already been in a private meeting with intrim chairman Jeremy Wray - planning assault and planned targets for next season........i just love these people who slagged Paolo off at the begining of the season.....Oh now....he's amazing lets link him to every mangers job that available..........Pipe down and watch Swindon next season..................I hope you are right. He has been great for you this season and I would say against the odds too. Lots of doubters at the start but they have been proven wrong. I did not write the first paragraph on this but, I have to say there are rumours circulating and though only rumours, I have also heard some concerns he has (Have a good friend who is a die hard Swindon fan who keeps me updated). He has to for the team I follow (Forest Green)This is from Di Canio, he wants to meet with the board to discuss the boards ambition for next season, his contract revolves around championship in 3 years, he has 2 years to get them there, if the boards ambition has not changed then he will continue his role with Swindon. Yes he will be linked to other jobs but west ham if they fail to get to the prem but west brom no chance. he is more likely to stay at swindon, can see him throwing one if they struggle in league 1 but the aim is to go straight up and the board have the same ambition and know it cant be done without money of which they have plenty.

leicester to sign stuart beavon a fee of 500,000 has been agreed for the striker(3)(21)I figured it out. Leicester think if they buy very pro player tht is cages between 18 and 35, they will win the league due to the rst having to play kids or oap's

Stupid Leicester fansDont believe the hype pal I'm sure players will come and go at Leicester the same as most other clubs, this is a rumours site not a fact sight take it with a pinch of salt my friend.CCFC are also rumoured to be in the running to sign Stuart Beavon once the transfer embargo has been liftedWho said its Leicester fans putting the rubbish on here?? Most of us Leicester fans think that the rumours about us on here are a load of rubbish and laughible!

06 May 2012 12:14:54
Preston will announce the signings of shrewsbury duo shane cansdell sheriff and nicky wroe this week.(6)(10)Why would they go from a team who has just won promotion, plays good football and is on the up to one with a manager who plays bodybuilding neandthrathal football? No chance of Preston getting Sherriff.

06 May 2012 12:23:00
From a good source.... Tommy spurr could move to leeds or Barnsley for a fee around 200k... And out of contract centre back/ centre mid rumoured to be interesting charlton, Coventry and Middlesbrough.(5)(5)

06 May 2012 12:15:35
leicester city manager nigel pearson is set to improve his squad with much needed quality. his top targets are hulls cameron stewart and james chester a fee of around 4 million is expected to be accepted for the pair of them, he also wants robert koren to add experience to his midfield he would cost around 1 million.
he has also inquired about pompeys david norris and joel ward, norris is wanted to add pace and strength to the midfield and fee for the pair is said to be around 1.8 million.
as leicester lack width they are looking at bringing in robbie brady from man utd he would welcome the move as he liked working with nigel pearson he will cost leicester 2 million also wolves winger matt jarvis is a 5 million target but despite leicester being able to offer him the most money he may opt to stay in the prem. also rangers winger sone aluko is a possible target.
with beckford most likely going they are close to completing a deal for fleetwoods jamie vardy with cardiff and leicester both having bids of 750,000 accepted, he is most likely to stay in england. also paul taylor is a target from peterbough. and a target man is needed after howards release so marco futacs is being lined up for a 500,000 mave and qpr pair jay bothroyd and rob hulse and being lined up for a 2.3 million joint move.
with chris weale leaving and adam smith going on loan leicester need another keeper to compete with kasper and conrad loagan, joe lewis is being lined up to come in as he is a free agaent also southamptons kelvin davies may come in for 500,000.(2)(28)Not all gonna happen I can assure you.
Solid news from within the club is a maximum of 6-7 players coming in and at least one of those will be a prospect to be developed, (not in 1st team plans for 2012-13).
Vardy HAS been sounded out and Hull HAVE been approached re 2 of their players, (believe them to be Koren & Chester, may be wrong)!
One name that is definately being mentioned within the club is Alan Judge of Notts County. There is a need of a 'target man' up front ... A loan deal is likely to fill this role!Absolute fiction!
As a Saints fan, I can say there is no way that Davies will leave to join a Championship side.
You really have no idea what you are on about-if all you are going to do is produce a wish list, why not start with Messi? What a complete load of tosh, are you of this earth? As another Saints fan, Davis turned down a big money move to West Ham when they were in the Prem to stay with us as a league one side. He's our longest serving player, and he has said he wants another crack at the top flight with Saints. Also, why would he uproot his family from the New Forest to Leicester at this stage in his career? Don't know who you think you're kiddingLooooool leicester fans are funny...jarvis hmmmm maybe you want silva and tevez from city also ...got the money and the quality team havent you.....LOL a team that's staying in championship after buying an entire new squad? Pretty sure your board will have learnt their lesson...also Bringing in Keeper of the year for 500,000? When he can play in prem, and good enough to play in prem? Dream landTry using the money to buy the club some class first before you start trying to buy players. Despite your money AND voting against it FFP rules will apply!!Im a leicester fan an ur talking out you arse, we are only signing a few players an were not getting jarvis no way

06 May 2012 12:10:18
West Brom want Steve Bruce or Gordan Strachan to be their new manager.

Both will be offered a two-year-deal when the season finally ends. They will also be promised £20million to spend in the transfer market to bolster their squad.(6)(27)Both are terrible managers who are championship standard at best

06 May 2012 11:51:04
deffo happening fletch to southampton o'hara to fulham hammil to reading due to the fact he was a trouble maker doyle leaving n johnson going to 1st club that bids

Johnson wanted at villa if mcleish staysSaints fan here and even I agree with the above post..Fletcher is good enough for a bigger club. Why would southampton want Fletcher; has not proved himself in Prem......
probably do him good to have a year or 2 in the championshipFletcher ive a sneaky feeling will be staying with us..., and hammill deffo off that has been on the cards for over 8 months...,as for the rest ohara wont be missed at all ...., but southampton i dont fancy fletch going there better off staying put for the yearI got it from a scout n as they say its all about moneyMy god 'Superfletch@ is going to Saints...at 40?!?!?!If he is a trouble maker he will not come to Reading. We are good at scouting players and Mcdermott has said he will only look at a player if they can fit in the locker room.Wolves bigger than saints don't be an person think before you write prat

06 May 2012 11:39:41
Tal Ben-Haim and Dekel Keinan have both agrreed moves to israeli side Maccabi Haifa(16)(6)Think the T b Haim move would have to be subject to him receiving some sort of pay off from Pompey, probably most of the £500k they received for Pearce, as TBH earns £36k per week basic at Pompey and has a year left on his contract!

06 May 2012 10:50:29
Brighton looking to bring in young

06 May 2012 11:02:11
Dougie Freedman to be offered the West Brom job, with an unnamed director of football. Jeremy Pearce is trying to cut costs at the club and has seen the good job Freedman has done at Crystal Palace with very little money. A director of football will be appointed to give experienced advice to Freedman. Certain players will be sold by the club, and very little will be spent, a big rebuilding job will be on Dougie Freedman's hands. The club are rumoured to be only offering £2m for transfers regardless of player sales.(8)(20)I wonder which team you support?Arrgh bitter dingle barnsley away next year?I would accually laugh if he took over now hmmm enjoy a relegation scrap nex season while we dominate the championship againHow have West Brom got no money - still have a Championship squad, and haven't spent much?

06 May 2012 10:46:44
Burnley will sing Sam Vokes from Wolves for knock down price of 400,000(11)(15)Rubbish....back at the club and has a sell on clause of 25% so isnt going anywhere will be an ok squad player next year..., but 400k for him to sing like you said yeahThe price is being knocked down if they sing well enough, is it?400,000?! you joking? at brighton he didnt do a lot so i'd say 250,000 would be fair

06 May 2012 10:36:37
The signing of Anthony Wordsworth will be confirmed on the 1st of July, he has signed a pre-contract so no-one else can get him

Jason Puncheon is coming to The Valley

There are lots of new stadiums being built of the greenwich peninsula and charlton could be moving into a new 35000-40000k stadium is they consolidate themselves in the championship

Jay Rod is also coming to charlton, everton aent interested as Jelevic is on form(3)(24)He seemed pretty happy to see saints go up on the Football League Show? Jay Rod?I am afraid there are bigger and better clubs than Charlton that will be in for him not just Everton. Burnley turned down 5.5m so plus 1m or so for Puncheon I reckon that your looking at 7-8m . Cant see it myselfMy god how deluded! Jay Rod will move to the Premier League! Not to a newly promoted team from League 1Anthony Wordsworth is under contract for another year & under the age of 24 so is not eligable to sign a pre-contract/Pucheon could come along; we're DEFINITELY not moving into a new stadium with a capacity of 27,111, and the potential to expand; Rodriguez? Heard that as a rumour before but no. Too good for us. Wordsworth is indeed a possibility however.

06 May 2012 10:24:47
wilfried zaha is a possible replacement for victor moses if he moves to liverpool in the summer. Moses benefited from the first team football he got at wigan after signing from crystal palace and this is seen as a factor in the deal. The money from the moses transfer would cover the 5-8m that would be needed to secure zaha's signature, also callum macmanaman would move to crystal palace on loan(12)(10)Load of old tosh as Zaha is also a target for Liverpool Bolton and VillaHow is he worth 8 mill podolski should of cost arsenal 30 thenSame situation as victor moses 2 years ago. supposedly wanted by big clubs but ended up at wigan and is now turning quality displaysZaha is not worth 8 mil. This guy is seriously overrated

06 May 2012 09:36:26
David Norris a transfer target for Hull,Nottingham Forest and Leicester, with the midfielder most likely to move to the team offering the most cash (Leicester)(15)(11)Leicester have made an offer of 750,00 for him.£750k would def buy him, would expect half of that amount would be accepted by Pompey given their current dilemma

06 May 2012 09:28:46
Franck Moussa will return to Doncaster in the summer, Ramon Nunez is also attracting Rovers(10)(7)

06 May 2012 09:25:38
Heard from reliable source that Millwall are going to sign Troy Deeney from Watford.(2)(18)Total rubbishHow many times are you going to post this - same old tripe
- millwall haven't got £3m
- why would an up and coming player take 2 steps backwards into a team of relegation strugglers?HP OR HEINZ

06 May 2012 00:18:52
Bournemouth fan here. Saw Eddie Howe and Sean Dyche at our game with Preston today. Rumours are that Pugh and McDermott were the ones being watched!(17)(3)He won't have been too impressed then will he. other rumours that demin's money had persuaded howe to come back and take the job

06 May 2012 00:13:10
Antonio will be joining Reading in there premiership campaign. Has really impressed on loan.(10)(11)I would be very surprised if we didn't sell him. I just don't think he will cut it in the prem.I would be dissapointed if we sold him, but he has a young family and he deserves to get settled in Sheffield or wherever. its unfortunate hes never managed to show the quality for us that all the teams hes been on loan at have been talking about. all in all i think he has the potential to be a top championship player if not a decent prem player, so all the best too himHe was great at Saints but he would be a big punt for any Premiership Team.

He must be out of contract. If I was him I would be looking to stick with Wednesday. Think he would do well in the Championship as he has pace and powerAntonio was not considered ready for the championship this season. Yes hes impressed in L1 but so did McKail-Smith and a host of others who didnt do it at Champ level. Too much of a gamble for Reading to take him to the Prem. Better to let him go to Sheff Weds (his stated preference) with a sell on clause.

05 May 2012 22:11:22
Ipswich are intrested in signing adam clayton from leeds(14)(11)

05 May 2012 22:20:21
Lee Chung-Yong would move from Bolton to Stoke if The Trotters are finally relegated.(16)(7)They wont go down so i dont know why you keep posting this nonsense qpr, blackburn and wolves will go down. by the way i am not a bolton fan i just think they will stay up

05 May 2012 22:20:16
QPR boss Mark Hughes could be only given £5 million in the summer if they stay up in the Premier League.
The first deal is set to be a loan deal though. Manchester United defender Chris Smalling is thought to be in talks over a possible season long loan deal in London next season and is keen on the gaurenteed first team action.
Another defender close to join the Loftus Road club is full back Nicky Shorey. The West Brom defender is out of contract in the summer and will sign as a free agent, with wages only coming up to £10,000 a week.
Roma striker Stefano Okaka is subject of a £3 million bid from Rangers. The 22 year old is currently on loan at Parma and has impressed Hughes this season, having a goalscoring ratio of one goal every four appearances. The former Modena attacker is thought to be in talks over a three year deal.
Another in coming defender is thought to be Leicester full back Paul Konchesky. Hughes has always been a fan of the left sided defender and is keen on capturing him for a fee of £2 million on a two year deal. This transfer is expected to happen if they also go down.
Hughes is also wanting to bring a few more of his own staff in.
The first is thought to be Hull City goalkeeping coach Gary Walsh. Hughes is wanting a whole set of new staff next season and Walsh could be added to help their last line of defence.
An potential assistant in talks with Hughes is former Birmingham and Sunderland boss Steve Bruce. Bruce has confirmed he would like more of a coaching role and could help Hughes push on next season on a two year deal.
Hughes is also keen on bringing in former Manchester United and Bradford midfielder Lee Sharpe into the club within a coaching role but talks are put in hold until pre season.
Finally, Manchester United 'Head of Youth' Brian McClair is also in talks with Hughes about a role at Loftus Road, possibly a lucrative deal within the academy setup, that could cost ther London side around £3 million a year to secure him.(3)(27)Yep all championship players for a soon to be championship teamDidn't he sell konchesky as soon as hhe arrived at fulhamAnd there is no chance Smalling will go to a side who leave loan players on the bench

05 May 2012 22:18:15
Argentinian Pablo Mouche is currently linked with a move to Aston Villa, following the rumours that state that N'Zogbia is moving aways from The Villans. Mouche is a winger who plays for Boca Juniors and holds French passport.(3)(5)This is rubbish, as if you done your research, he is a striker, and holds an Italian passport.

05 May 2012 22:01:23
Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill is expected to spend big in the summer to bring some of his own players in.
Before any deals are done, full back Phil Bardsley will be offered a new four year deal.
The former Aston Villa boss is thought to be wanting to put in a £12 million bid for England international Gareth Barry and could be accepted if City manage to find a replacement.
Another surprise signing could be Nottingham Forest attacker Marlon Harewood. Harewood worked with O'Neill at Aston Villa and could sign a one month rolling contract to try and get fit to prove himself as he is set to be announced as a free agent.
He is also expected to make a bid for Wigan midfielder Shaun Maloney. The Scottish winger has impressed O'Neill in recent weeks and could make a £2 million buid to secure the Celtic player.
O'Neill is keen on adding a goalkeeper to his squad and could make an offer for Bursaspor and England stopper Scott Carson. Carson has declared his desire to leave Turkey after being unsettled and could move back to England in a £5 million deal.
The former Aston Villa boss is also expected to link up with another former teammate in Olof Mellberg. The experienced defender is a free agent in the summer and could sign a two year deal at The Stadium of Light from Olympiakos.
Another defender to join could be his fellow countryman in Fulham defender Aaron Hughes. It is thought he could be tempted away from Craven Cottage in a deal worth £2 million.
Scottish midfielder Steven Davis, who has been transfer listed by Rangers, is already in talks with Sunderland could sign a three year deal in the next week as he seeks another move to England.
Finally, another Manchester City midfielder James Milner could sign on a season long loan deal with a view to a permanent £10 million switch next summer.
O'Neill is also wanting to bring in a number of his own staff into the club.
O'Neill is keen on bringing close friend John Robertson as his new assistant of who he has worked with at Aston Villa, Wycombe and Celtic. The 59 year old is also expected to be chief scout at The Stadium of Light.(13)(23)Wow thats 30million quids worth of players not bad since oniels been told to sell to reduce his wage bill and he has to sell b4 he can buyIf your a saints fan you don't know how saints work obviously Nigel will not bring in anymore then 3-5 players there will be no overhaul. It's called in Nigel's terms a team evolution and the reason saints have been so good is because of the team bond which has been key an overhaul would totally ruin everything that's been carefully built in the camp

Saint clarkyYeah 12m for barry stop talking rubbish, why would sunderland put in so many bids for average at best players, the rumours are we after Agbonlahor, Carroll possibly but doubtful, A Johnson, J collins, milner, a 20 goal a season striker, a left backNo chance.
Milner & Barry are on HUGE wages.
Sunderland fans can only DREAM!
This is like saying Messi is joining Hereford United. Jeez!More like 12 quid for barry, way overated

05 May 2012 21:41:06
If Roberto Di Matteo is confirmed as the new Chelsea boss, he is expected to sign one player before the season starts as he doesn't want to overhaul his squad that much. Before any deals coming in happens, it is thought he wants to offer Israel captain Yossi Benayoun a new three year deal at the club after his loan spell at Arsenal.
The first bit of business he is thought of wanting to do is singing old boy Alex back from PSG. The Brazil international left in January but is rumoured to be keen on linking back up with Di Matteo.
He is also keen on bringing some of his own staff in.
Di Matteo is keen on bringing former Chelsea favourite Jody Morris to the club as a coach. The St Johnstone player is set to retire in the summer and is wantint to coach. Morris will sign a two year deal along with Di Matteo.
The former West Brom manager is also expected to bring in Chelsea legend and close friend Gianfranco Zola in as his new assistant. There is expected to be an Italian feel at Stamford Bridge this season and may win the fans over with the coaching staff he is set to bring in.(4)(15)

05 May 2012 21:40:14
Reading have told Michail Antonio he can leave this summer. He is contracted until 2014 and valued at £2m.

Sheff Wed's and Notts Forest both fancy the winger.(7)(21)Forest might well fancy him, but they don't have £2, let alone £2m!Way way overpriced£2m,he's not worth a tenth of that, know this is a rumour site but come on mate.500k to 1 mill

05 May 2012 21:34:30
Jay spearing of Liverpool is going on loan to Watford for the season as liverpool look to bring in other midfielders(8)(19)Why would we want Spearing? He is so ugly he'll scare half of our fans into not returning.I dout it seeing as he played in the fa cup final yesterday. i used to think that most of our fans were realistic but this is beyond a joke

05 May 2012 21:17:43
Ed Upson will sign a new 2 Year Contract at Yeovil on Tuesday after accepting the offer from the club.(10)(4)Signing for Exeter as he sees them as a bigger club with more potential to come straight back to league oneHe ISN'T dropping down to exeter!! Look at the official YTFC website it has been announced!!

05 May 2012 21:15:31
George Boyd and Joe Lewis are set to sign for Brighton in the coming week. £3 million + Harley is the rumoured fee. Aaron McClean is also being pursued from Hull but quite alot of work to be done before any signature though. Marriappa from Watford is also wanted but prem clubs likely to win race for signature.(7)(17)Joe lewis is a free agentIn fairness you can tell a brighton fan didn't right this because marriappa is a centre half which is something we dont need! we have plenty of them!

Southampton will make a bid to bring Wolves winger Matt Jarvis back to the premier league in the summer for around £4 million(21)(21)Aston villa are rumoured to be considering bidding about £6m rising to £8m on appearances.Funny , Wolves quoted Norwich eight million for Jarvis. Why would he go to Southampton for half that price ?Jarvis can do better than Southampton, who will struggle this coming season.I dont believe Saints will struggle at all. It was reported in the paper Saints offered £4m, but that doesnt mean its true. Clubs always start with a low amount to negotiate. I heard Villa were interested tooInfact its the other way around clubs start higher with the view to lowering for negotiations actually..., and jarvis im affraid looks like he will be here next year :(Jarvis will leave Wolves

he will abandon the sinking ship to stay in the premier leagueDont think so mate, Saints are not going to bid a high amount and then try to negotiate it down, they start low then wait for Wolves to counter offer and go from there. You have no clue

05 May 2012 20:48:22
Southampton are ready to make another bid for Celtic striker Gary Hooper(22)(15)Never gonna happen....hooper wants champions league football and enjoys playing in front of 60,000 every home match!!No chance. If Hooper was available there'd be a cue of mid table prem teams in for him. Sunderland and Fulham are definately keeping tabs on him.

Southampton boss Nigel Adkins is set to tie up around 14 deals before pre season as he looks to overhaul his Championship promoting squad to compete in the Premier League with a possible view to Europe League football and FA Cup success.
The former Scunthorpe boss is keen on signing around four new defenders and does have money to spend.
The first to sign is Stuttgart defender Khalid Boulahrouz. The 30 year old can play anywhere along the back four and the former RKC Waalwijk and Hamburg stopper will sign until the end of the season on loan.
Another defender set to sign on loan will be Jan Lecjaks from Swiss club Young Boys. The 21 year old was close to signing in the summer from Viktoria Plzen but chose to move to Switzerland but hasn't played yet. The deal will include a deal that could take the Czech under 21 international to St Marys for around £2.5 million.
Doncaster defender Tommy Spurr, who is regarded highly at The Keepmoat, is subject of a £2 million bid from Adkins and could sign a three year deal once the weekend passes.
The final defender is thought to be Birmingham star Curtis Davies. The former West Brom player has been superb for City this year and if they don't manage promotion to the top flight, he could see a two year deal at the South Coast materialise before the start of next season.
A midfielder set to join is Argentina international Maxi Rodriguez. The Liverpool playmaker has declared his desire to leave Anfield for first team football and could sign on loan for the season at St Marys.
Another player to join from Liverpool is midfielder Jonjo Shelvey. The 20 year old is wanted by a number of clubs in the Premier League but is expected to choose Southampton as he feels they will compete next season.
Three wingers are set to link up with the club and all of them could be done before this time next week.
Arsenal youngster Henri Lansbury, who can play onf the wing but also fills in midfielde is subject of a £2.5 million bid from Adkins and have already discussed a three year deal.
Blackpool full back Matt Hill is set to be released from Bloomfield Road and will join Southampton on a one year deal. The former Bristol City, Preston and Barnsley left sided player is expected to sign as a winger to compete but can also fill in at full back.
Finally, Chelsea winger Yossi Benayoun, who can also play in an attacking midfielder position will sign a two year deal for as little as £1.5 million as the Israel captain seeks first team football away from Stamford Bridge and has been told by his loan club Arsenal, that they will not be signing him.
Adkins is also keen on bringing up to five strikers in and coould tie them up within three weeks.
Another loan deal in PSV attacker Ola Toivonen is expected to happen with a view to a £5 million deal in January if the transfer is successful.
ADO Den Haag have confirmed they've recieved a bid from the Premier League club for their young striker Charlton Vicento. The 21 year old is expected to cost around £3.7 million and has scored four goals since signing his professional deal with the Dutch club in 2009.
The third attacker is thought to be Sunderland forward Frazier Campbell. The England international eanred his first cap for his national side in February but has been told by the Black Cats he can leave if someone match their asking price of £7 million.
A surprise deal could be Cardiff target man Jon Parkin. The former Preston and York forward has been told he can leave Wales and is thought to be set to sign a one year deal next week.
Finally, another Sunderland forward in Connor Wickham will sign on loan until the end of the season.(11)(44)We won't be signing prem has beans on that list...Players that are young, with potential, can play the Southampton way, future value and are hungry for success will be signed so pick those off that list and you might have a caseLike top comment says, Adkins has a habit of not signing old players. nothing near 30 looking at previous signings.
Also we do not need or want a whole club overhaul and he has said as much. He looks to make 3 or 4 good signings, and try and bring the youth through into the squadBloody hell what have you been taking - thats one he'll of a made up list. What even with them all signed theyre not much better than what we have already got plus adkins thinks a squad overhaul would be a terrible ideaIf all of this happens it will completely ruin saints togetherness and they will end up like QPR - going down on the first atteptSaints fan here that is absolute rubbish!! adkins has said he wants to sign the right players for the club not has beens!!!You're free to have parkinAre Southampton going to try and be the new Portsmouth spend all prem money if relegated not able to sell then have prem wages in champ think they should just try to stay up then add strength slowly over next few years myself"Overhaul" is not something Nigel Adkins has any intention of doing. I have no idea why you wasted your time writing all of this. Quite a few of the team are premier league standard already or could prove to be so with some hard work, so I've no idea how 14 signings could fit in."from the official website"

Nigel Targets Steady Progression
Posted on: Thu 03 May 2012

Nigel Adkins says he will be looking for additions to his squad, but there won't be an overhaul at St Mary's.

you were saying? You make out to be a Saints supporter but know nothing about the club or what it is trying to achieve.
If, as I suspect, you are not a real supporter and sound like someone from along the coast who is used to fantasy football, at least have the sense to check what Adkins has already said about his intentions.
There are likely to be 4/5 quality signings (max) with around the same number of fringe players leaving.
The club are after consolodation over the next couple of years with further development of their youth set up.No way will saints end up
like pompey
cortese and adkins will
see to that
nobody will end up like
pompeyWhy don't you just be honest and sign your real name I.M.A. Skate!

05 May 2012 20:35:50
Pompey will be brought very soon, 2 very interested potential buyer's, just hope it goes through sooner rarther then later so we dont have to sell all our best players. PUP PPU(7)(25)I see the Skates haven't lost thir humour...Why would anyone buy you?I will give you some reasons why they won't...Huge debts, don't own the ground,no training facilities,no academy, small fan base and several other clubs with much better portential, excellent facilities and in higher leagues all for sale....That's why TB said it was so I important to stay up,you didn't,good bye...............That is not true at all, no body is anywhere near buying pompey! Only chance you have is with fans trust and even that will fail. You owe way too much. You dont know what u r talking about...how about focus on your team getting relegated next year.... NORRISTwo potential owners.....that will be chinny and the Trust pmslFound another couple of "fictional" Arabs, have we?
I can understand grasping at straws in your situation but a sharp dose of reality is what you need.
People buy clubs with assets and real potential, you have neither.
Look along to Brighton-a new stadium that cost over £100m-and that would just be the first part of the investment required for Pompey. Sorry, it's not going to happen. They are so gulible...That's why there in this Sh&t in the first place actually believing they have something to offer any investors...Not sure whether it's ignorance or simply blind rivalry demonstrated above. Quyite simply, Pompey will not be liquidated as it is worth more alive. Reason is that a further large Prem parachute payment is due next season and also, if liquidated all the players would become 'frees'. Chanrai has already indicated he would not let them be liquidated and this is why. Secondly, when a CVA is agreed, the debts will be wiped out. Norml practice in many businesses and other football clubs, so they will not have 'Huge Debts'. Also, the club does own it's ground. So, feel free to continue to be as vindictive as you like but do try to give a realistic view of the situation. Incidentally, have southampton never been in financial difficulty..........?Three weeks until Pompey are bought but the potential owners will not throw cash at the club but instead rely on Appleton to deal in the free and loan markets. The only chance of them being bought is with either Chanari who is only interested in getting his money back so there will be no investment or the fans trust who cant raise enough money to do it. The parachute payment for next season will be used up as soon as its released so thats a dead issue. You had a CVA agreed from last time but didnt pay a penny of it..Now you have to try and get a new CVA which will make sure all your debts from you old CVA get even less so you cheat your way out of it again! Oh and Im not a Saints fan btwRegardless of any new investors/CVA's Chanrai input, you will not be able to keep your players...it is their wages that have cost the club.

Burnley are very close to signing three players this weekend as boss Eddie Howe seeks his full first team squad for pre season in July.
The first signing will be Everton youngster Ross Barkley. The 18 year old has been told by boss David Moyes he can join someone up until January and is keen on not travelling far. He will sign for the Turf Moor club until the weekend before the FA Cup third round tie at the start of the year.
Secondly, Brazilian left sided player Fabio will also sign a loan deal but this will be until the end of the season. Howe is keen on getting a really strong squad together with a mixture of youth and experience and the Manchester United youngster will sign until the end of the season.
The last deal will be 20 year old Ghana international Afriyie Acquah. Another loan deal will be arriving at Turf Moor in the Palermo midfielder and will sign until the end of the season with the wages paid by the Italian side.
One deal that will not be happening will be Alex Bruce. The former Ipswich and Leeds defender will turn down a one year deal with Burnley in order to sign a two year deal at League 2 club Cheltenham as he feels he will play a lot more football at Town.(2)(27)Yeah m8

Im a Burnley fan too

I saw Ronaldinho gettin out of a white range rover yesterday, nd he dropped a paper that sed that he was gunna sign for Burnley for his cousin, whos a fan

Nd aquah has allready signed !!

Ross Barkley aint tho, were after Oxlade ;)The Ross Barkley one must be on loan because he looks decent and has been called 'one for the future'.Isn't every youngster one for the future

Reading have enquired after Johan Burg Gudmundson from AZ Alkmaar.

They have also made a £1m bid for Lillestrom's Björn Bergmann Sigurdarson.(25)(7)We've defo made a bid for the Icelander, so I'll give you the benefit for the doubt on this one, as the first rumour is a proper random one. Who is he?Seems we're just being linked to every young Icelandic player in the world..Probably some fella off of football manager

2 Confirmed transfers Norwich have succesfully completed are the signings of Norwegian and Hannover Striker Mohammed Abdellaoue for an estimated fee of £ 4 million and the signing of Leeds defender Aidan White on a free transfer(11)(36)What's your source?......Aidy White isn't a free transfer he will cost any club around £1.5m in compensationHow is it a free tranfer you numb nut. he's only 19 or 20, so we'll see your compo in the post and he's nowhere near the finished article and when he is, you will be playing championship again , and we will be flying high in the prem. mot4lifeNo we haven'tWell, you haven't. White's contract doesnt expire until the end of the season. So yoiu haven't 'successfully completed' anything, and with proper teams like Newcastle interested, I doubt you even will.
wallyWot a load of bull, white still under contract at leeds so if he joined the leeds rejects at norwich a fee would have to be paidLeeds in the Prem, as deluded as your claim you are the "Champions of Europe"-living in the past and off a defeat, laughable.Leeds are and always will be bigger than little old Nawich that lives off the scraps from Leeds. I mean wots all that about, you'll have a team full soon. When's the last time you had a youth team player coming through. Very sad little club, made famous off the back of a cake making queen...ha haLeeds are and always will be bigger than little old Nawich that lives off the scraps from Leeds. Newcastle utd INS -
Seydou Doumbia
Jadson
Cleverly (season loan with buy option)
Mceachran(season loan with buy option)
Scott Dann
Tosun
Roderick Miranda
Fabian Delph(5)(55)Doumbia is settled at CSKA Moscow; his wages in Russia are already high and I don't see the reason he would like to be third-choice striker at Newcastle.Even if Cleverley or Mceachran do go out on loan I doubt they'll be given an option to buy them as they are seen as bright stars of the future at there clubs.Jadson moved to sao paulo in january so doubt he would moveDo Newcastle really need all of them players! I think maybe 2 or 3 signings will be made this summer by Pardew. They have been linked with a lot of French players as well.

Reading will sign: Marriapa, Sigurdarsson, N'Doye, Clyne and Sigurdsson. They will be given £20m to spend by TSI.

TSI (Thames Sports Investments), the company taking over Reading FC is headed by Anton Zingarevich (worth £200m). O
There are several other investors including AZ's father Boris Zingarevich (worth £3.4bn).

This makes Reading the 9th Richest club in the world in terms of ownership.(17)(37)So much wrong with this.

First of all I'm a Reading fan, but one a little more sensible than this burk.

1) No-one knows AZ's wealth.

2) Madejski is worth £300m, so why would we then spend more than we would under him?

3) His father Boris is also involved and is a billionaire three times over. BUT still don't expect silly money to be spent! The club are investing heavily off field with taking the academy to Cat 1 status and the stadium expansion to 38,000 from next summer (if we stay up).

4) No there aren't several investors. There are two. Father and Son.

Sigurdsson has out grown us. Move on. Grow up!

Mariappa is supposed to be a done deal, as is Butterfield, but again - until you see them presented as Reading players, they aren't and other clubs are interested. Can never have enough Sigs! but seriously, after reading the article on him in the mail i now know we have absolutely no chance of getting gylfi backI'm a Reading fan..but such statements like being the 9th richest club in the world is hugely embarrassing...because the reality is we aren't ....Anton is the club owner ..not his father ...hopefully that now makes us 90th richest now!....yes remember the Tommy Smith saga ....This site ain't the Financial Times eitherFor reading to sign up N'Doye would cost alot of money.. Fc.Copenhagen declined a £9.5 mill. bid on him half a year ago.. so you would have to let go of half of your money :)We are the 9th richest in the world. Anton isn't the owner, TSI is, Anton just heads the company. There WILL be money available, not silly money, but money still. My source is Chief Executive at RFC so yes, I do know Anton's wealth. If it was just the majority shareholder that made the club rich then QPR would be no where near the top ten. We WILL spend as we want to stay up and the infrastructure will be improved if that happens.

Peterborough United To Signed Luke Ayling From Yeovil. £150k(3)(9)He's out of contract at Yeovil so would only require a compensation agreement with the 2 clubs as he is under 24. But he has expressed and intrest in staying with the club for another 2 years before moving on with his career.

Derby County to make Ross Perry and
Fegor Ogude their first signings.Nigel
is to only sign a MAXIUM of 7 players.
Unless more players are sold.

Krystian Pearce and Michael Jacobs
will become the 3rd and 4th signings
with Jacobs fee only compensation.

Daniel Powell from Mk dons is nigels
Target for the much needed pace on
the right wing and that would be the
5th signing

Lastly Johnny Russell will become the
Last addition to nigels team as hes
repeatly said they need assurance of
Strikers and the board are willing to
step outside their current policy to
make this deal happen this is the only
fee considered to be high with it
reportedly being 950k + 3 players

Paul Dixon will Join the rams after nigel
said they need a young left back as
roberts will be retiring at the next
season and Paul dixon told the papers
hes leaving Dundee united for a
Championship club

You can click the unbelievable button
if you want but this is just to alert
Derby county fans to who will be with
them next season

The players above have all been
scouted and contact has been made.(6)(31)We are cutting our wage bill further than it already is to about £6m so there will be 2/3 signings max. A fact which Clough himself has stated...so a faceless rumour board poster or the manager himself??You say he's allowed to sign seven players as if its not very many. As the above poster said, it will be three signings, a left back, probably Dixon, but not Jack Robinson as has been said by other posters, as he won't be available on a permanent due to him having a future at Liverpool. The other two signings will be a winger (either Jacobs or Pugh) and an unnamed striker.Thats the only paid transfers
ins
Paul dixon Left back
Michael Jacobs Midfielder
Johnny russell striker

The others are only if a player is sold which im told by insiders that blackpool(if they failed promotion)and bristol city
to sign Chris maguire for 500kWe are trying to reduce the wage bill...so we will not be selling 1 (maguire) and bringing in 4.

barnsley to sign mcdonald from sheff u for 300k(8)(18)As McDonald is out of contract in the summer, I guess he will be going for free and certainly not to Barnsley.Laughs out loud. Surprisingly hes already been in secret talks with city rivals Sheffield Wed. This is regardless of the playoffs as hes a fan of Dave Jones who sees McDonald as the ideal partner for the destroyer Semedo

Blackburn are set to lose up to five players on free transfers after Steve Kean told the board he would like to overhaul the squad, whether they go down or stay up.
Vince Grella will sign a one year deal with Russian side Zenit St Petersburg and is keen on linking up with some old teammates as he seeks European football.
Spanish defender Michel Salgado will be released and will be told to find a new club.
French midfielder Herald Goulon has been told to find another club and has already opened talks with former club Le Mans over a potentially signing a three year deal.
German club Hoffernheim are very close to securing Junior Hoilett on a lucrative four year deal and the 21 year old is keen on a move to Germany after already experiencing European football three years ago.

Agent 279JEEZ! GIVE UR HEAD A WOBBLE!!!FELLOW CLARETS STOP POSTING UTTER GARBAGE PLEASE!Let's all laugh at Burnley, must have won euro lottery£3m for McGugan? Not a done deal.

Agent 280Leeds fan here - Alex Bruce is one of the most irritating players I've ever seen play for Leeds.

Always looked quite solid and assured (though prone to errors) and didn't have more success in a Leeds shirt due to his constant injuries. Also sounds like he might be a tad tricky to manage - reportedly fell out with Grayson big time, and was well known to leave the ground and drive home if not selected, rather than stick around to watch.

Nonetheless - I don't think we ever saw the best of him and it just didn't seem to work out, so good luck to him in the future.

Isle McLeod is being highly linked with a move to Pompey. He will join if barnet get relegated ! Varney has been linked with Leeds while greg halford to join Sheffield utd. Scott allan to come on season long loan and Kitson,Benjani and Kanu to be discarded which Ashley Harris will be offered a new 2 year deal along with Jed Wallace!(15)(10)LOLz. Barnet stayed up.

Why are Kanu, Benjani, Mokoena and Ben Haim still at Portsmouth? surely the administrators would realise that getting rid of them would help save money(20)(2)If they release them they would have to settle their contracts, doubt they have the cash to do so!If you can change the rules, and allow Pompey to cancel their contracts I'm sure they would do it in a flash.

But unlike Scotland, English clubs have to either transfer the players or mutually agree to terminate the contracts (which will cost).Called a contract all for players/agents club still trading. Couldn,t agree more with youCalled a contract all for players/agents club still trading. Couldn,t agree more with youWhy would the players leave?? There on a combined 50-60k a week, what would they get from any other team if they tore their contracts up?They also have to agree to go. You owe then an awful lot of money remember!Benjani has gone his contract ended

Real Madrid have made a £20m offer for Arsenal midfielder Alex Song. Wenger has been tracking Yann M'Vila and Javi Martinez and if he can sign one of these two then Song could well be off. Liverpool are readying an £8m bid for Madrid's Lassana Diarra.(8)(17)£20mil for Alex Song?!! lol...Song is worth nowhere near £20mWenger wouldn't sell on a young starter without contract pressure. Song's good season, and the paucity of cdms make him worth a truckload in AW's overall project.

Tottenham are rumoured to be interested in bringing Michel Vorm to White Hart Lane as a replacement for Brad Friedel with Steven Caulker moving to The Liberty Stadium on a permanent deal in exchange(13)(18)They wont let caulker go as they see him as an important future player, whether that next season or the one after so no chance he will be used as a bargaining chipLike wed sell Caulker. He is a future england centre backHeard it was krul they afterWhy would spurs buy a decent keeper and then send their most promising young player there for next to nothing. if i were told to find a keeper id get rui patricio (sporting club portugal) or steve mandanda (marseille)

SOUTHAMPTON have shown interest for out-of-contract Newcastle midfielder Danny Guthrie.

But it is understood that Alan Pardew is still keen to keep the 25 year old. Everton, West Brom and Wigan have been rumoured to be interested.

JS635(18)(10)It seems as though he would like to move back to the Midlands, so Aston Villa, West Brom, Stoke or possibly Birmingham, Leicester or Wolves could be an option.

Doubt he'd leave Newcastle for Southampton

U's ever-present right back, Brian Wilson, will look to sign a new contract next week; once the final game is finished today. He commented: "I'm keen to sign again. I don't know about the other lads but I can't see why any of the other players won't sign because it's a brilliant club"

Wilson has played every minute of every game so far this season (49). He will look to extend that to 50 against Notts County today. This will make him top of the U's appearance charts this season.(2)(0)

Izale Mcleod has signed a 1 year contract at Portsmouth as he failed to sign a new deal at Barnet.(9)(22)Who is going to sign a deal at Pompey until they know whether they can be paid?
The money runs out in a few weeks. He wouldn't have played for Barnet today if he'd already signed a contract elsewhere. Also the Bosman rule is different in England than in Europe. Barnet would have to have accepted a bid and given permission to talk to the player, and they haven't.

Only in Europe can players in the final months of their contract talk to other clubs! {Ed007's Note - Players can sign a pre-contract for a club in a different FA six months before their contract expires, to sign for a club within the same FA it can only be done one month before contract expiry.}What are the rules on signing players when in administration?

When did Ian Harte have a bust up ? He played against Birmingham then flew to Mallorca with Reading fc
They only flew back yesterday so why are they training at all. Brian mac doesn't argue. Ian Harte is fine.
In fact Ian is class. Can't think why you would think he'd join Leeds utd especially after what they did to Reading fc
Forget that one ! Wishful thinking(13)(14)Firstly, don't be so naive. EVERYONE argues at some point. Brian isn't a god. So stop acting like he is. Secondly, the post didn't actually give you a time frame, the bust up could have easily happened in the end of season fitness tests and fitness MOT's before leaving for team holiday. Use your head, you are no more in the know than the other guy, and being a fan doesn't automatically mean you know Brian personally. What did Leeds do to Reading? A kid got sent off because he got over-excited and Danny Pugh (who has played for Stoke remember) slid in a bit hard. Its the Championship. Grow up.
I do agree with you though, Harte won't return to Leeds, for the same reason that we didnt sign Robinson; age. Oh, and 'never go back,' and all that.
wallyThere hasn't been any bust up."What did Leeds do to Reading"

ask jem karacanJem Karacan broke his ankle after a brilliant and fair challenge where he fell awkwardly in the aftermath, one of the only fair challenges michael brown has done all season. Tell him not to try and do the amateur dramatics and he wouldn't be injured. Why would Harte care about an incident that didn't involve him? Remember Harte is Gary Kelly's (Leeds legend) nephew and he got into English football because Gary got him a contract with Leeds while he was there. They Both love Leeds and didn't want to leave (couldn't afford Harte's wages and Kelly only retired because Wise was a TW-T and he didn't get on with big Ken)Scissor tackles are fair? I also like how Pugh's horror leg breaker tackle was described as "Going in a bit hard". No wonder Leeds had one of the worst disciplinary records in the league last season.

Swansea will NOT be getting Sigurdsson. They are now out of the running. If no big club comes in for him he will stay at Hoffenheim or move to Reading.

Swansea had a £4m bid laughed at by the manager. They cannot afford any more and they knew the bid would be rejected, but wanted to try and make an effort to please the fans.
They may look to sign Clyne for a tribunal fee however.(18)(13)Swansea is better than readingHaha this is funny, swansea had a 5 million pound rejected and they have said that was a "warm up bid" they know they will have to up the money and hoffenheim have said 7 million and its a done deal! also gylfi has said he WANTS to stay at swansea, dont believe me? click in sky sports news in google then get back to me!Sigurdsson is also better than Swansea. Why would they sell him for £7m when they bought him for £7m? And he's now worth more than that. They will deal at £8.5m, no less, which Swansea can't afford.Gylfi was not going to say " I want to go somewhere else" is he, especially when there is games left. Also he has said "he would love to go back to Reading". Why would you do a warm up bid when you knew the price tag and Hoffenheim said they will not accept any think less. But he will go to a top 6 club or a European giant. Also the price tag is 10 million.

Isle McLeod to sign for Portsmouth with the money raised from the sale of Jason Pearce which is £500,000(6)(23)Think there might be a few creditors interested in the Pearce fee before new players, wake up and face reality!I don't think so you small minded fools. That money is to keep you running as a football club. Currently you only have enough money to survive until June. That money will help see you into July. 15 more players must go before you can realistically start spending; and when you do, you'll need a new owner and they don't seem to be lining up do they? The money raised from the sale of Pearce will be used to pay the wages of those left behined - for 1 more week! So, you have raised half a million but don't intend paying off any of your creditors!!
Same old Pompey-rip off anyone you can and live in never never land.
You lot are just a disgrace to the football world and the sooner you are put into liquidation, the better. So i see another fan saying how pompey should go out of bussiness you wouldnt be saying that if it was your clubJust to point out that Portsmouth don't have a training ground at the moment because their contract with Southampton University has run out. I'd imagine they would want to use the £500'000 to put towards resecuring that training ground to prevent having to train at a school..Fans are simply saying the above because you only go out of business if you are running a business.
You lot think you are some sort of charity and whilst you are playing at the job you are defrauding many local businesses-who are trying to run a business-out of their money.
Just try and understand it does require money to run a football club and you have very little left, and yet you still seem to think players will flock to your door without any job security.
Don't blame other fans for these views, you should be blaming the idiots who got you into this mess.If my club had been in administration twice in 3 years, 3 times in 10 years, and broken a CVA because they continued to sign players on 40k wages, yes I would want my club to be scrapped. It's disgusting!!

Start a fresh and work your way back up and earn the respect your fans deserve; but that club stinks!!You football fans are sooo thick...we have got him on a free....we wont start paying him until july 1st....so are spending money? NO idiotsI think the person tag is closer to home mate.
Your administrator says you will be out of money by July-so who pays his wages?

Ipswich are intrested in signing adam clayton from leeds(13)(16)Hes a free transfer nowNo.. he got 1 year left of contract

Martin Rowlands is to leave Colchester United at the end of this season after a short term deal. His poor injury record persuaded boss John Ward to release the former QPR man.(4)(1)

05 May 2012 07:53:59
Millwall are hoping to sign Colchester goalkeeper Ben Williams, who has been watched a number of times by Millwall scouts. They also want Ipswich defender Aaron Creswell, but maybe out priced by Charlton and Peterborough who are also interested.(3)(13)Why not keep the one you have, I thought he was pretty good.

05 May 2012 07:49:25
Liverpool considering a Bosman deal for Zak Whitbread who will take up the role as 4th choice centre back.(4)(44)

05 May 2012 07:29:49
So Ian Harte had a bust up on the training ground with the management? when was this, as the whole team including management is currently in spain enjoying a holiday?(7)(11)Well, actually they got back yesterdayWhen they got back is irrelevant, firstly they wouldn't be in training now and secondly ian harte is the last person to have a bust up. what an utter load of made up tosh. There has been no bust up. The team celebrated the trophy presentation then flew straight to Spain for a knees up. They got back yesterday and Ian has a new contract on the table.

It's kids making up stories!

ed any blackpool rumours {Ed025's Note - if you dont win the play-offs then wolves will move for holloway..(8)(9)Radio Lancs carried an interview with Holloway just before the play off game on Friday. Holloway mentioned the interview that Brian McDermott had with Wolves after they sacked McCarthy and he went back to Reading and then signed a long term contract after realising what a good job he already had. When asked if the same was happening with himself and if he wanted a long term contract with Blackpool; Holloway said that it was currently under discussion and was in the hands of Karl (the theif) Oyston.

Southampton's Japanese striker Tadanari Lee is a loan target for Crystal Palace and Derby as they fear he will not get many first team opportunities(7)(28)Except he will. NonsenseThats rubbish hes our 3rd choice striker! He is not third choice. He was playing regularly until he got injured then sharp got 8 in 8. Lee had to have an foot op so will be back to get his place backHe is 3rd choice! Lambert and Sharp are the top 2. Im sorry but based on the form of the partnership of those 2 they are the top 2.Lee and lambert were up front together before lee got injured and he was good enough to stop billy sharp getting his spot , he is our number 3 or even 2 strikerWe will be bringing in another top striker.tadanari is still a very important squad player and great asset to bring onLee was not signed to be put out on loan. The Premiership demands a certain amount of rotation, and injuries and suspensions will add to it.
Why loan out a striker and when you recall him because he is needed you find he is injured or exhausted? He's a great player who we need on the bench at least

05 May 2012 05:12:06
Steve Cotterill believes he can persuade on-loan Birmingham forward Erik Huseklepp to join him at Nottingham Forest if Birmingham fail to reach the Premiership. He will be Forest's number 1 target this summer.(12)(15)No because Nottingham Forest will go down next season^^ derby supporter lol^^

all you ipswich fans are crazy thinking joel ward will sign for you hell sign for a top six side(2)(9)Doubt it. He's good, but not that good. You lot down there just love him because he's local.Quite honestly we couldnt give a fig one way or the other, if he signs for someone else so what, we only want players that want to come to Ipswich and play for the club, so we will see by August who comes and who doesentPompey cannot afford to pick where a player goes, bid comes in they go.Is that why he plays for portsmouth ?

05 May 2012 02:13:36
David Clarkson is wanted by league one side Walsall, Clarkson who has recently been released by Bristol city is currently injured but will be offered a trial /contract by Walsall in the summer

Walsall are also still interested in signing midfielder Darren Carter in the summer, Carter has been training with the Saddlers on and off since he recovered from his injury which he picked up for Nottingham Forrest reserves earlier in the season

Well, probably not even one of them but these are RUMOURS for a RUMOUR site.(12)(23)Just to add to that I've heard we're going in for Junior Hoillett from Blackburn if they get relegated. A proper right winger which is something I feel we've lacked last season^^ lolOh dear god! Hoillett will not sign for us! He will be for a top 6 side at least! Not Saints fan but 2 mill for Matty Phillips, dont thinks so try 4 mill.

Also I notice that Jay Rod isnt on this list and this has been the biggest rumour going. oh well that makes me a happy claretClyne wont be 5 mil, hes out of contract, tribunal will be about 2 mil, doubt hed go to soton either, man u are interested

Summer Transfers

Jackson Martinez
Gaston Ramirez
Belhanda or Matias Suarez

Blazing Angel {Ed025's Note - but for who???(0)(6)Liverpool, yeah?Matias suarez has agreed a deal with arsenal already. younes belhanda is either going to stay with montpellier or move to psg. jackson martinez has been linked to loads of clubs so you might not get him. while gaston ramirez might move or he might not

05 May 2012 00:09:22
been hearing PSG want sessegnon and are willing to do a player trade sessegnon for Kevin gameiro. A striker sunderland have been interested in before. Never seen him play before so dont know if hes any good but I hope it's not true I'd rather keep sess he's top class(3)(11)Gamerio is a quality striker, but sunderland would want cash aswell, maybe 10-15m plus gamerioUtter tosh. Listen to yourselves. Gamerio is rated by his club at 20mil and is linked with Arsenal and Newcastle. There is no way he would want to play for Sunderland... Ever. FACT and because the word fact is in capitals it is true. FACT

05 May 2012 00:04:09
Bristol city will have Michael Owen on season long loan this is a dead cert I know just trust me! Can't wait coyr! {Ed025's Note - hmmm(3)(43)On loan from who ? He,s out of contractWeird how his contract is ending. . . And would he really go to you anyway? Nah :)Doubt it- We had a high profile, highly paid goalkeeper for the last 2 years and whilst he did a good job,we were not willing to pay again

04 May 2012 23:47:31
