My cousin works up Luton Airport and he said that the Maltese league top scorer Terence Scerri flew into Luton for a trial with Luton Town , He didnt have a clue who the fella was but onw of the baggage ha handlers is from Malta and recognised him .

Also Dean Brill of Luton Town is mulling over a contract offer from Sheffield United , And that's straight from the horses mouth .

To that idiot that claims that all Man United fans are prawn–eating morons, clamouring for David Moyes to join United when SAF retires. Ger real lad, United will employ a well–known face from the world stage. Moyes is good, but he's only a big name domestically. And to say that you would rather Liverpool win the league than United actually makes me question whether you really are an Evertonian. No self–respecting blue can stomach it when that lot from Anfield win anything, let alone the PL. So on behalf of all Evertonians, I wish United the best of luck for the final bit of this season. Clearly the league is yours, but I hope you get the CL as well.

As far as rumours go, it's really quiet at Everton. The name that keeps cropping up is Owen on a free, with greatly reduced wages. If Owen is brought in, then we would have to assume that either Vic or Saha will be shipped out, and Jo will return to Citeh. The Moutinho rumour is also still doing the rounds. My guess on this is that Moyes will attempt to bring him in and will probably offer his entire budget, which I would guess would be £15–20m. The only other name that crops up is Pennant on a free. My opinion is that Pennant can still play a useful part in the PL, and would be a good addition, assuming he doesn't want crazy wages.
It seems that Arsene Wenger may finally get his wallet out this summer, after admitting that Arsenal cannot compete with the likes of Man United and Chelsea with such a young squad. Majority share holder Stan Kroenke will reportedly make available £40m spending power in the summer. Chairman Peter Hill–wood has also said that the Arsenal board would fully back Wenger in signing any player he wants. It is just down to Wenger to find the right players. Players that could be looked at include:
–Miguel Veloso – £15m – reportedly keen on a move to the prem, with Everton, Bolton and possibly Man City and Tottenham also interested in the midfielder, however the promise of champions league football would surely see him favour a move to the Emirates
–Roque Santa Cruz – £18m – has made it clear he wants to leave Ewood Park in the summer for a bigger club, and with Man City having seemingly given up on signing the striker, Arsenal and Tottenham could fight to sign him, but again with champions league football on offer, he would surely prefer a move to the Emirates
–Obafemi Martins – £12m – almost came to the Emirates last summer but Arsenal opted out of a move. With Newcastle looking certain to be relegated, Martins' would be keen on a move to the Emirates
–Yaya Toure – £15–25m – Wenger would be prepared to bid £15m for the younger brother of Kolo, however Barca value the midfielder at around £20–25m, which would price us out of the deal
–Brede Hangeland – £10m – has still not signed a new contract at Fulham yet, so could be looking for a move to a bigger club
–Micah Richards – £7m – Man City will look to re–shuffle their defence in the summer, possibly seeing the Arsenal fan leave Manchester
–Mamadou Sakho – £7m – Next season will be William Gallas' last at the Emirates, so Sakho would be the ideal replacement, and could be brought in early before his price tag rises.
Expect to see one striker, one midfielder and at least one, possibly two defenders to be brought in this summer, as Wenger knows that these players are needed to help Arsenal truely compete for some silverware. As far as departures go, there are a lot of rumours circulating players like Fabregas, Walcott, van Persie, Adebayor and Clichy all leaving. However Cesc and Ade have both recently committed their futures to the gunners, Cesc claiming his 'future belongs to Arsenal' and Ade saying he will '100% be an Arsenal footballer next season', despite interest once again from Milan. Van Persie and Theo are currently in talks over a new contract and after reaching the champions league and fa cup semi–finals, and also having all but confirmed their place in next seasons champions league, the duo will surely be happy to pen new long–term deals with Arsenal. As for Clichy, Real Madrid are reportedly planning a £15m move for the French full–back, however it was only last summer that he extended his contract at the Emirates, and there is no reason for him to quit the Emirates.

In Arsene We Trust
  Arsenal News

Diego Buonanotte–river plate, has been watch all season by the gunners, expect arsene to bid for him this summer, potentially a first option clause as opposed to him landing at the emirates.

He's also looking at the 3 Yohanns
Gourcuff
Cabaye
Pele

Mamadou Sakho will be his first buy.

Also he has appaently signed Miguel Veloso during the 08 christmas period which was why he didnt sign for bolton, don't think this is true, but im sure he'll make a bid.

onwards and upwards.

now watch how many scousers and mancs start linking Diego Buonanotte to their tema even though they've never even heard of him prior to this post.

always makes me giggle.
Man Utd rumours mostly rubbish on here.
GK. . .
Vds used less next year but no transfers as Foster will be allowed to proove himself with Kuszack.
Def. . .
Neville is going to retire due to injury. RB will almost certainly be bought with Brown more of a CB Lahm is a big contender 25mil as Rafael is not ready yet.
Mid. .
Scholes and Giggs will be used less next season so expect Tosic to be used more with Ljajic also given a chance no signings here either as Hargreaves permitting he is ok after a year out will stay. Possible signing is the release of Nani and perhaps a real LM to replace Giggs hence the Ribery rumours which may well happen as the best way to pay off the united debts is to bring in a big name for merchandising and for more trophies so that's almost a certainty as Barca can't match his wages.
Atck. .
Tevez signed permanantly with Berbatov staying as he hasn't been a flop it seems no united supporters watch united anymore he has consistently been played so how is that SAF not being happy?? Macheda given more playing time with Welbeck.

So 2 signings Lahm and Ribery for a big fee possibly 80mil Lahm being the least likely.
A few youngsters going out to add up to about 5mil Cambell, Manucho and Simpson.

  Gunners News

Sherman Cardenas
Aron Gunnarsson
Mohamed Diame
Henri Saivet
Vaclav Kadlec
Kyriakos Papadopoulos
Robert Acquafresca
Pablo Piatti

interesting summer ahead

To the Owl who thinks they have a chance with Rasiak – keep up – Watfords deal includes a purchase option with an agreed fee – your chances of getting him are ZERO
Watford will release williams / poom (done)and listen to offers for Eustace aBangura and Sadler. Robinson and OToole return and Smith will seal a £2m switch to Wolves. The Mourinho relationship will yield two young loanees – no names known. Rasiak signs for 500k – Williamson to PNE for £500k and Hoskins to Forest for similar money. This leaves Rogers with some money to spend – with still more if Bolton Wolves or Fulham do find the £2.5m demanded for Priskin – if that does happen expect Lita and Cox to complete an exciting new forward line and Timar to come in too.

Big Changes at safc this summer – from boardroom to playing staff. Sbragia is on his way out and its down to Sven, Mclaren (nooo), Van Gaal and ambitious Van Basten

In Quinn and Short we trust!!!
Rafa to offer babel, lucas and money for david villa and barry is a dead cert to join. Rafa to bring in spearing to the senior club and has any one heard whether van persie will leave arsenal cos he would be a great signing for liverpool
  Arsenal next season

up front Adebayor may be sold but it seems unlikely because he said he will remain a gunner next season and that he wants to win trophies with them.

  Arsenal ins summer 09:
steven taylor newcastle £4.5–5m – wenger would like to strengthen his back four and with the new 6+5 rule being put in the champions leauge he feels hes the anwser to both with taylor wanting out after newcastles poor season.
bassong newcastle free – his contract runs out in the summer and wenger rates him also could replace silvestre who look to head to the MLS
david Wheater middlesboro £3m – he will come to arsenal if boro go down to help him impress capello and get a england call up but will want to go back if they return to the top flight as hes a boro
sahko PSG £5m – rated as one of the best young players in france wenger wants him to play as cover in case of the injury trouble arsenal have had at left back this season happens again as silvesrtre and traore both look to go
ryan babel liverpool £6 – wenger has tracked since he was in the ajax under 18's and with him growing tried of liverpool and after an argument with benitez they could let him go on the cheap as long as liverpool get gareth barry or krancjar. he'll just be cover to walcott and nasri but with get more games than he has at liverpool and is mates with van persie
migel veloso sporting lisbon £11 – wenger rates denilson but no where near veloso probaly one of the best holding midfielder in the world after yaya toure and xabi alonso but wenger knows the other 2 wount come could be the biggest summer signning for arsenal
craig Gordon sunderland £3 – wenger need a new back up to almunia as fabianski leaves because of poor performances and wenger feels if he can get him on the cheap and can keep him fit its a great buy sunderland also have to pay hearts £500k if he reaches 50 apperances and with him stuck on 49 and having already gave hearts £9m for him they don't want to pay more.
Gourcuff ac milan £7.5m – a great prostpect form the future and is key behind bordeax's sensational season after a string of great games there on loan and wenger wants to get him quick before man u or liverpool get a look in wenger would want to play him in an arshavin role behind the strike pair
Giorgio Chiellini juventus £6 – great player and althought it usally takes italians ages to set in to english football wenger thinks that it would be less than 6 mounths before hes challanging for kolo toure's place hes also 25 and has experiance that wenger wants but may look to Hangeland instead
Edin Džeko wolfsburg £9.5 – been the best player in the german league this season with over 30 goals in all compations need strikers as bendtnar leaves and maybe adebayor at the end of next season if they don't win anything
Brede Hangeland fulham £5 – will only happen if they miss out on Chiellini as he feels signning to many defenders may upset the balance in the squad
Daniel Güiza Fenerbahçe loan £8m agreed price – a gifted centre forward who can score but creates more think of him as a spainnish tevez but wenger isant 100% weather he'll do anything over in england so will get him on loan first. first caught wengers eye in 2006–07 season at getafe but wasnt going to reach there £10m valueation so bought adebayor instead but came back in wengers plans when he scored twice against arsenal when they meet in the champions league this season (5–2 arsenal
flamani ac milian £3 + senderos – wenger read to forgive and forget as long as he takes a pay cut of about 5k per week could be the end of song or eboue
arsenal outs summer 09:
Fabianski £2.5–3m – arsenal want to get back what they payed and after being one of the worst signnings in the 4 throphyless seasons arsenal have had will go to highest bidder
bendtnar Bayern munich, west ham £7 – has had a few good performances this season but has been a flop will use money for guiza or dzeko bayern his personal fav of the lot because of the promise of trophies but west ham maybe not far behind with him feeling he has unfinished bussiness in england
mannone Free – how ever wants him can have him as far as wengers conserned problay go back to italy with james shea taking his place as 3rd choice keeper
bischoff sporting lisbon contract expires – contract up and only 5 first team apperances has been rubbish with lisbon wanting a new midfielder after veloso leaves could be a quick easy signning
senderos villareal newcastle or ac milan £4 or free to ac – could be used as a make weight in flamani's return as milans boss rates him highly and performance have caught villareal's eye newcastle will tr after losing 2 defenders to arsenal but may miss out if the don't over a big wage and stay up
song £4 – may leave for 1st team football as wenger thinks diaby and denilson are better and veloso and flamani means he'll be 4th choice but may not be that with wilshere ramsey and lansbury getting in the squad
silvsertre mls side free – wants a big pay off before he retires and most mls sides will want him

who are all these man utd fans saying moyes is going to be next utd manager? let me get this straight from most utd fans i think, WE DONT!!!! sure he has done great at everton on limited funds but he is not a united manager end of, when fergie does call it a day we are going to need a certain personality to take of the hype of fergie retiring e.g a mouriniho or cappelo, not a boring, arogant unmannered bloke like moyes, and ure statment about u would rather liverpool win the league than united!!! are u for real? u can't be a true fan of everton when u make a statement like that, there your rivals! Im sure if shoe was on other foot in merseyside and liverpool wernt the dominment force of liverpool they wouldn't be making comments like that, agree liverpool fans? i mean we sold u one of ure best players of the last five years in neville and not a bad keeper to in howard, sure we took rooney away but if wasnt going to be us it would be someone else, if we hadnt come in for him do u really belive he would be there now :)? as for the fletcher qoute, well i suppose u must not know wot its like when ure in a semi of a major european cup comp and cruising to the final when one of your players gets wrongly sent off meaning he can't play in the final, its like liverpool getting to final again and losing alonso there important players even if they don't take the headlines like rooney or gerrard etc were not shouting our mouths off just pointing out it aint fair! Rite rant over lol!
sorry i havent got any news at the moment, the silva situation has gone quite again so not sure if that's happening, he'll prob end up at liverpool lol like the torres traansfer saga :)
it does seem alonso is off to madrid of all places i posted juve but there is strong intrest from madrid! please excuse spelling and grammer on this post i was in a rush lol feel free to comment

I have just been informed that Liverpool have made a 7m euro bid for a young Spanish player named Dani Aquino. I do not know a lot about him, just that he is a forward who is not in La Liga but plays in a lower division. All I do know is a bid has been made for him, and Liverpool scouts rate him very very highly. This bid suggests to me that the Kerrison deal must be a no go as I do not think two young forwards will be signed at the price.
  West Ham United

Bordeaux striker Marouane Chamakh said he has done all he can at Bordeaux and favours a move to the EPL with West Ham in the running for his signature.

Can i just say LMAO (im sorry i know its not very proffesional to say)at the clearly deluded Barnsley fan who posted :

Barnsley Ins:

Kevin Phillips (Loan)
Andrew Surman (£600.000)
Simon Cox (£800.000)
Alan Gow (Free)
Steven Caldwell (£300.000)
Adam Hammill (Season long loan)

haha right ok lets re evaluate that. You are a poor poor championship side with little funds, a poor manager and because of this obviously very little chance of ever acheiving promotion. Kevin Phillips loan? – Birmingham are not going to make the same mistake as their midlands rivals and let go of Phillps, someone who has proven he can score in the prem. Andrew Surman? jesus he has just got promoted with leicester who are on a real high and though it pains me to say have a decent young side – so forget about that one. Next Simon Cox? He is wanted by a host of good championship sides including the mighty Sky Blues so firstly expect a big bidding war – one you may not be able to afford and second why would he join Barnsley out of all the other interested clubs in him. Finnaly Steven Caldwell? surely you don't mean the Celtic steven Caldwell? If so then you are clearly out of your head. If by chance you mean the Burnley Steven Caldwell then i would also seriously doubt that too seems that he has just signed a new contract extension. Basically mate im afraid to say that your little Barnsley wishlist is just that a wishlist, soz pal.

As for the mighty Sky Blues these are just a few of the players on Chris Colemans possible transfer hitlist whom he will look to sign most of.

Calvin Zola of Crewe is a definite target of AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe this Summer. Zola favours a move to the South Coast to truly kickstart his career. Lee Bell of Macclesfield is another target of the Cherries.
I have just returned from a three week tour of brazil with my sons football team. I was talking to a lot of the locals at the various games(they speak very good english) and all the talk was about keirrison the young brazlian striker that plays for palmeiras. They all expect him to sign for MAN CITY in the summer. I for one hope he does he is a goal machine. He is a lot like nistelrooy not very speedy but deadly in and around the box.He only sighned for them this year but he is hot property so lets see. . cheers!
  All those saying that Liverpool won't have any money to spend in the Summer really need to start looking at the figures. They will have around about £30million budget (£15million from each owner) They will have the £15million from the Robbie Keane transfer back to Tottenham to add to that. Thats £45million, plus Rafa has been told he will have all of the cash from departures given to him too as the owners feel that Rafa needs the resources to strengthen the team after a much improves season this year. That will give Liverpool a massive £60million to spend. The priority lies with a right back, right winger, centre back and a striker. There will also be money left over to make the usual Rafa big money signing and add squad players. These will be;

Glen Johnson– Portsmouth £9million
Simon Kjaer– Palermo £6million + future expenses
Jakub Blaszczykowski (Kuba)– Dortmund £8million
Gareth Barry– Aston Villa £9million

Unsure who the striker will be at the moment, Rafa has around 7 top international strikers he would like to sign in the summer, and, as he does, he will sign the player who will prove to be the best value for money rather than pay for the name.
The big money signing could possibly be David Silva. Altough Rafa has denied this, a fee was agreed between Liverpool and Valencia during the January transfer window to take Silva to Anfield in the summer. But after Valencia leaked this information, Rafa apparently 'pulled the plug' on the deal. The fee is apparently between £18–25million. David Silva will not join if Liverpool make a striker the big money signing.
Also, the reason why there has been no added news about Kenny Dalglish's return to club to oversee the youth system is due to the fact that Kenny is apparently also interested in becoming the new CEO. Tals are on–going regarding the position of Chief Executive and Head of Youth Development. More news soon my fellow Reds, trust me on these FACTS!
  Just a few theories based an available evidence;
1) If Tevez is not bought by Utd, he must only be going to a club willing to pay in the region of £35 million, as well as a high wage. Thus, Chelsea, Liverpool, City, Barca, Real, and the few Italian giants would be realistic. Then consider that Tevez would like, and deserves Champs league football, and that he has said he would prefer to play on English or Spanish soil.

2) A french journalist recently said he spoke to SAF and he said Utd would be interested in a wide player, inparticularly Franck Ribery. Also consider Munich's current state of affairs, and the possibility of Ronaldo leaving.

3) SAF also said he was primarily in for only one big money player (above), thus all the talk of Karim Benzema going to Utd would seem redundant. Could he go to Barca freeing up Eto'o to City?? Or could he go to Arsenal feeing up Ade going to AC or Barca, knowing Arsene's fondness of French youngsters, possibly, however consider the fact the The Gunners don't spend what Lyon would no doubt be asking.

4) Sakho to Arsenal, its being written everywhere!! As well as Eden Hazard, he's young, playing in France and very very talented (look out for him on YouTube), a custom made Gooner??
  To the person who wrote
"Just a quick one but has anyone else noticed that Marco Van Basten has quit his job as Ajax coach? What with all this talk of Arsenal needing a new hand on the tiller and Real obviously in need of a new manager after the spud's reject messing things up, am I the only one to see a possible manager merry–go–round starting up?"

yes you are. Arsene Wenger has already stated more than once this season that he isn't going anywhere and that he is considering extending his stay. Would Arsenal really hire a man who got pushed out of the way of Steve McLaren? No. MVB to Real is alot and i mean alot more likely.
Wolves will have much less money to spend than was initially thought because major work needs to be done on the Steve Bull stand, which is sinking. In light of attention being focused on the Hillsborough disaster, the Premier League won't allow the stand to be used unless it is brought up to scratch, just in case something does happen. It's unlikely, but they don't want to take chances. McCarthy will have enough money for one big transfer, but the rest will have to be mostly frees and loan signings.
  Liverpool

Liverpool will begin preliminary talks with Ajax over the signing of Luis Suarez, when Liverppol Reserves play Ajax reserves on Friday 8th May.

Benitez/Liverpool will attempt to negotiate a player + cash deal with Babel,Voronin,Lucas,Degan,Dossena,Leto and El Zhar all being offered as make weights.Babel being the most likely would love to return to Ajax.

Similar negotiations have already also started with Valencia over the potential signing of David Silva, but negotiations were concluded for the time being when there was a leak from the Valencia side to try and up the price and increase competition for Silvas signature.Again the players mentioned above will all be offered as make weights. The talks will reopen at the end of the season.

Rafa tried the makeweight idea when going for Barry last year, when he offered the likes of Pennant,Crouch and Riise.

Rafa also will go back in for Barry and will also go in for G Johnson,he will not replace Hyypia, he feels Arbeloa and Barry ( if signed )can do a job there if required and is also impressed with the form of Kelly.

Rafa may also go in for an out and out striker, but need to conclude deals in other areas first.
Such as wide player,2nd striker, full back, & Barry who he sees as a must because he is English and because he is so versatile

The budget is money made on sales, money made on Robbie Keane plus £15m
Leicester City have offered £1million plus Joe Mattock for Joey Barton. Also looking at the possibility of signing Gibson and Federico Macheda on season long loans from Man Utd as Fergie is impressed with the way we treated Cleverley. Milan is going to pull out all the stops this year to get the blues promoted.
  Birmingham City

Birmingham City are interested in Tottenham defender Ricardo Rocha. McLeish rates him and belives he will enhance the defence with rocha providing valuable experience and quality. Birmingham are believed to be leading the chase for his signature and will get him for around 500k.
  RedReport
Aguero talks our still on–going and from what i heard latley Liverpool will have other options about who is their big name signing this season.
Valencia have contacted Liverpool about Silva again because they need the money and the bidding war is not turning out as they hoped with only Juventus and Man City still intrested. Barca are no longer intrested and the player does not want to join Madrid because because he does not see them as the club they once were. .Also hes not intrested in a move to Juve and City so he has asked the club to renew talks with Lfc. Also rumour has it that after the United game Robin Van Persie spoke to Dirk Kuyt and apparently asked him about life at Anfield stating that he was fed up with Arsenal and embaressed by their CL defeat. He asked Kuyt to let Rafa no he might be intrested in a move so watch this space. Also Bojans agent contacted Liverpool about a possible loan move after Rafa stated he wanted a backup striker. The youngster dose not wat to leave the camp nou but now feels he has to because of competition for places. Rumour has it he will only consider a move to Anfield because he has tremendous respect fro Rafa and Torres and is mates with Pacheco. So expect Bojan and 1 big name signing to come in.
  Liverpool FC rumoured in. .

Navarro at LB. . 6m
Johnson at RB. . 10m
Anderson at CB. . free (young brazilain for cover)
Downing at LM. . 12m
Barry at LCM. . 8m
. . a young strker. . Zarate, Llorentes, Diogo. . anybodies guess. . many linked and will depend on availability and funds. . but cover for Torres.

If Liverpool manage to get in those 6 players, I think we will be doing really well. Problem is like last couple of seasons is funds. . rumoured that Rafa has starting budget of 30m so will obviously have to sell to fund the above named players. . prices above at 36m before a strker is bought. . so will have to sell to make up at least 16 to 18 million.

Most likely to go are the players on loan at the moment and those struggling to break into the first team. .

Leto, Pennant very likely gone. . 6m ?
Paul Anderson and couple other youths. . 4m ?

Voronin. . depending on if LFC buy a cover strker. . could go for around 4m. . ? but may be the cover strker for Torres next season.

If Navarro comes in . . Dossena back to Italy. . 4m. . ?

If Johnson comes in. . Degen or Arbeloa. . 3m. . ?

Imagine the likes of Lucas will remain as cover for Mascherano, Barry if he comes. . and a lot of guestions around Alonso and all depends on who comes in or whatever happens this summer regarding midfield. .?

Linked with big names like Silva, Villa etc. . but unlikely to happen. . players are priced out of our league at the moment. . but then Rafa did manage to bring in Torres for a big fee. . so fingers crossed that we may get one big signing this season and improve our defence and midfield which might turn those draws of this season into wins next season. . !!!!

The difference in winning the league is only a couple of good signings away.

Anyone agree with the above. . great. . anyone disagree. . challenge it and give your reasons. . the above is accurate and very likely. .

Last season. . same sources named Riera, Dossena and Degen. . all came through.

This season . . this source names Navarro, Anderson and llorentes. .

This source did also mention. . Javi Martinez of Ath Bilbao. . CM but did not mention it above. . and I'm sure he is another option if Barry don't join Liverpool this summer.

Summary. .
IN Navarro, Anderson, Llorentes, Barry, possibly johnson

LFC fan for 30 years!!!

For 1 we won't get any money for Pennant his contract runs out in the summer and will leave on a bosman and although everything you've stated is pretty accurate we will sign one big player from these 4. .
Aguero 20–25 mill (with players included)
Silva 18–25 mill (If there is no bidding war)
Villa 25–35 (Still possible although probably not)
Ibrahimovic 20–30 (Was a target when Torres signed Rafa likes him even though he's lazy!!)

I know alot of people are going to say your dreaming Liverpool don't have any money!! Well we have for one big signing!! There has been ongoing talks since January for Villa, Silva and Aguero!! I have been told out of the 4 its Aguero who is likely to sign for us!! (I was told this in March and posted it on here!!)

'Just thought I'd say that Arsenal may lose Wenger in the summer to Real Madrid, and that this would actually suit all parties concerned. – Real Madrid would gain an experienced coach, who would help to promote some youth team products through the Madrid ranks, (something Madrid have been lacking in recent years)and also bring beautiful football to the bernabeu. Wenger in turn, will be given a large some of money (£10 million a year) and also a large, VERY LARGE, transfer budget so that he can get the exact players he wants (something he hasn't got at Arsenal) and Arsenal in return will get a new manager, with a new outlook, and a new playing style, possibly getting experienced players, and thus, having more chance of winning trophies.'
Firstly, Wenger has just rejected a £40m offer from Madrid to become their new manager, having also turned down Bayern Munich. This clearly indicates that Wenger is prepared to sign a new contract at the Emirates. Secondly, Wenger has plenty of funds to spend at Arsenal, majority share holder Kroenke has made £40m available to be spent this summer, and chairman Peter Hill–wood has said that Wenger had to be forced to cough up the £15m for Andrey Arshavin by the Arsenal board, so a lack of spending power at Arsenal is out of the question, it is purely Wenger's desire to spend little money and bring through youngsters.

In Arsene We Trust
I heard matuidi is going to arsenal, heard he is a box to box midfielderbe good for arsenal we need some 1 that can help the defence out as a 5th man
Are you serious? I think some people need to take a step back on this site. Look at Manchester united, already doing "quite" well this season, with a big, relatively young squad, maybe one or two players will come in but that's it (most likely tevez + midfielder likely to be valencia). No–one will leave, maybe a few of the youngsters out on loan for experience but that's it. The only real movers and shakers are likely to be liverpool and chelsea with a clear out of their respective fringe and "older" players. Chelsea will be in for a striker/attacking midfielder – possibly diego/robinho, liverpool will be in for a defender (lahm/rafinha), and a striker (aguero is a likely possibility with alonso going the other way. Arsenal will make one more big signing and a couple of younger players. Arsene will be given one more season to win a trophy otherwise he'll be respectively released and go on to bigger and better things. Thanks for listening.
Sheffield Wednesday will look to get around £750,000 – £1million for defender Richard Wood with Coventry, Bristol City and Ipswich interested.

Sheffield Wednesday will use the money to sign Andrew Surman and Darren Purse from Southampton and Cariff
  UNITED NEWS!
As every1 with a brain knows a lot of MUFC transfer activity depends on (A) if we win the league + chmps lge (B) if Ronaldo leaves

If the Champo + Prem is won, the likes of Scholes Giggs n VDS may call it a day on a high note. Also Nev may retire due 2 fitness woes.
If giggs/scholes retire then Nani will stay + Valencia and a proven CM e.g Xavi 2 cum in. If they do not retie expect 2c Nani loaned out and an up n coming talent such as Douglas Costa signed.
If VDS goes then in will come Buffon or Asenjo!
Nev will probz retire and Glen Johnson is the name bieng linked as is a crafty Micah Richards bid, but the most likely is Lahm.
IF Ronaldo go – Ribery will arrive as will Benzema
If Ronaldo stay – No big signing made, just a 10–15mill striker 2 replace Tevez who will defo go. Names mentioned are Quagliarella Nilmar Sanhez amongst otherz.

Often this site merely publishes made–up stories about football transfers. Well this is football–rumours, not football–transfers. So here is a rumour, and it's a good one. My boyfriend works for Liverpool FC, in the marketing department. Rafa Benitez and Fernando Torres are no longer on speaking terms after a huge row 2 days ago. I don't care whether you believe me or not, but let's just say that the place is no longer big enough for the both of them. Benitez to Madrid or Torres to Barcelona? One will happen.
Benitez is now seriously looking at Raul Albiol since Hyypia's departure, and preparing a 12m euro bid. If Rafa continues to pursue Gareth Barry it will mean Lucas will either be sold or loaned to Atletico Madrid to provide further funds as Albiol can also play CM. Rafa is also looking at Almeria pair Alvaro Negredo and Pablo Piatti, of which 1 will be potentially signed. Babel will not return to Ajax as Van Basten will not be there next season. Rafa is considering using Babel in his preferred position of CF(so he doesn't have to buy one) in order to save funds for David Silva. Arbeloa will stay for one more season(family unsettled and want return to Spain), with Sevilla interested Rafa aiming to gain 1st option on Luis Fabiano for next season(to sign if Babel doesn't provide cut it up front). David Silva isn't signed he will try for Aguero(fee + Lucas) or offer Arsenal a double your money £25m for Arshavin(attempted to sign him before joined Arse, but were too late as Parry negotiating with Tottenham for Keane's sale). As for Glen Johnson, Rafa will not pay over 11m for him, so will go for Ryan Taylor is NUFC relegated (he'll be cheap and is english) if not signed Carra and Darby will provide cover to Arbeloa.
