Wba are leading the chase for brightons gary dicker whos contract is up in the summer.the irishman has stalled on signing a new contact after a number of championship clubs including forest, burnley and leeds declared there interest in the player.now tho wba technical director dan ashworth has said that wba are ready to swoop for the player as soon as his contract ends regardless of which league they will be playing in next season

Sheffield Wednesday, Sheffield United, Huddersfield Town, Bristol City, Brighton and Barnsley are all watching 20 year old German striker Florian Niederlechner who plays FC Ismaning in Germany. He has scored 15 goals at the halfway point of the season and is looking to move to England. He is contracted till the end of the 2011/12 season although the Ismaning club are looking for 50000 to take him off their hands. At least 3 clubs are already scheduled to be send scouts over to Germany before the end of the season.

Think you need to look at our local press. There are 4 different ways it could happen.
1, We get him for a season long loan, similar deal to his current loan deal.
2, Ipswich sign him on reasonable wages and give Hull around 1 million for him.
3, Ipswich sign him paying him a decent wage (around 15 - 20,000 a week) and Hull pay him off a certain amount to get him off the books (Ipswich include this as part of the deal of the transfer fee)
4, Ipswich agree a deal with Hull where he plays at Ipswich on loan till his contract with Hull expires and he then signs on a free with Ipswich.
Not being funny but do you know Jimmy on a personal note? I would think not so how do you really know what he thinks? He is 32, had injury problems for a long time and is finally enjoying his football again at a club who wants him. He has not got this security at Hull so know wonder Hull fans got the wrong impression of him, course he is going to sit back and take the wages if that is his contract if fans do not appreciate him. Alot is expected of him because of the high wages and high transfer fee.
You will see the deal happen in the summer. Would not surprise me to see him finish his career with Ipswich, he is genuinely loved by the fans and management team here.

Erm. . . .option 5, a Premier League club come in for him and pay his wages in full, you're assuming no-one else wants him, but if he keeps playing well, then it's likely that we'll get an offer from a club who can afford him.

Nathan delfouneso to Norwich by Mondays game against Bristol City but if that falls through then PL will try and get in the mighty Kevin Phillps on loan, , both players would be really good additions to the squad, delfouneso's pace but then we could have Phillps knowledge of the game and experience

Just hear from a top agent who works in Los Angeles that he has been hired by Liverpool (John Henry) to bring Alonso back as well as Xavi (as Cesc will be heading to Barca). This guy has work with the director of football at Liverpool before. They also want Sergio Augera? however he will only play in a spanish speaking country.
