Real Madrid Rumours:
When, not if, Manuel Pellegrini is sacked Real will look to appoint either Jose Mourinho or the bookies favourite, Michael Laudrup.
I think it will be Laudrup personally.
He will look to sign Juan Manuel Vargas from Fiorentina for £18 million or Gael Clichy for £25 million to add more choice at left–back.
He'd also be looking to sign a left–winger, possibly in January but most likely in the summer.
He's looking at Franck Ribery for £65 million, Florent Malouda for £20 million, David Silva for £25 million, Andres Guardado for £21 million or Luka Modric for £32 million.
He may want a physical central midfielder to play alongside the class of Xabi Alonso, and are weighing up his options.
He's looking at Michael Essien for £40 million, Toure Yaya for £28 million, Darren Fletcher for £21 million or he might go for somebody world–class like Cesc Fabregas for £45 million, Xavi or Andres Iniesta for £35 million and £50 million respectively. The last two are highly unlikely but Laudrup is still interested in the two.
His main target is a striker to play alongside Benzema, because Laudrup has confidence in his ability, or with Kaka just behind them as the lone striker.
His number one target is Fernando Torres of Liverpool for £60 million but other possibilities are Didier Drogba for £30 million, Wayne Rooney for £50 million or Robin van Persie for £32 million.
From what I would do this would be a possible starting XI:
Casillas, Ramos, Albiol, Pepe, Vargas, Alonso, Fabregas, Ronaldo, Ribery, Kaka, Torres (4–2–2–1–1 formation)
The Trump Card ;)

Why do all you people keep saying that Man Utd will be selling Welbeck either in January or the summer? He is one of the brightest talents in England right now, and that has already been shown with his two Carling Cup goals in two appearances. Sir Alex thinks very highly of him and therefore sees him as an integral part for his future teams. No chance of him leaving. Not even on loan.

Other Man Utd news:

Expect a young CB to be brought in either in January or the summer as Rio's form has dipped. Jonny Evans will step into Rio's starting spot but a new CB will be needed to groom for the future. Gary Cahill and Brazilian Dodo are a couple names being mentioned. Additionally, a young goalkeeper will be brought in, but not until the summer. SAF wants to see who is playing well in the World Cup and will wait to see what teams qualify for Europe next season (Champions League etc.) Akinfeev, Nauer, Adler and Asenjo are the most commonly linked names. There will be no shock move for Julio Caesar. He loves Inter and will not leave. Inter will win the Serie A easily and compete strongly in Europe. No reason for him to head to England.

PNE rumors: Andy Lonergan has pushed to sign for Burnley in the Jan Transfer window as Brian Jensen has admitted that he can't complete the full season due to injury and Lonergan wants a shot at the Prem before it's too late. Gavin McCann from Bolton has also turned down the chance of a loan deal as the financial package would mean he would have to take a £10, 000 a week pay cut because Bolton will only pay 35% of his contract and Preston can only afford £3, 000 a week. Callum Davidson is also looking to leave Preston on loan and has asked for his name to be put forward to teams he has suggested....including Boro. All this from a lad who works in the "Ship" pub in Lytham where all 3 live and drink.

Breaking news...
chelsea will make a couple of early signings in case cas will decide to ban the club soon. chelsea will buy a striker and an attacking winger as well this january. those 2 players are pato and gojko kacar. manchester united realize that only chelsea can stop them from winning their 4th title in a row and because chelsea will bolster their squad this jan they feel they must add a couple more players and they will get rid of carrick, nani, kusczak, park, welbeck and gibson. they will buy silva who has already agreed in principle and milos krasic from cska, they will also sign young manuel neuer to be the understudy for van der sar untill vds retires end of season. manchester united will also bring in gary cahill and finally sir alex will sign 2 youngsters in ransford osei and erik lamela.

To the guy who wrote this
"The silly Liverpool fans on this site make me laugh out loud. My Boss (Mr. Hicks to the likes of you) has already sold Torres to Barcelona (contract and so forth already agreed – you'll see in the summer after the World Cup. The fee is already agreed plus a very large additonal fee contingent upon Torres winning Spain the World Cup). Benitez is dead man walking (Mr. Hicks has deep pockets and will wait for the players to turn upon Benitez and the latter to quit. Anyone who has heard about the screaming and pushing match in the dressing room after the UEFA Lyons game will have an inkling as to what my Boss expects. And for the record, Mr Hicks thinks Agger was in the wrong and Benitez was in the right on that night. Mr Hicks is in for the long haul. Why do you think he is one of the wealthiest and most powerful men in the US?"

Could you be any more full of sht don't talk fking stupid mate. Torres is going nowhere, mascherano to go next summer, angel di maria coming to anfield, hopefully another striker and a defender but there are many options so wouldn't like to guess those. Also just coz hicks is one of the top business men in america it don't mean he knows sht all about football does it?

Its heart from a reliable source that Gerrard will go to Real, bt how because if lfc are selling all their player then who will play for them?

Heart Of Midlothian
Hearts have agreed a deal to bring back Samuel Camazzola. The midfielder's contract runs out with current club Sandefjord Fotball at the end of this year. Cammazola has verbally agreed a two year contract with Hearts and will join on the first of January 2010.
Vladimir Romanov is also close to agreeing a deal with Litex for highly rated striker Ivelin Popov. The Bulgarian international is currently with Litex who are managed by former manager Angel Chervenkov. Popov's contract runs out of at the end of the season and he has made it clear he wants to join Hearts to further his career.

Manchester United 2010 transfers. JANUARY – INS – Nothing. OUTS – Carrick Spurs £12 million. Foster Burnley Loan. SUMMER – INS – Modric Spurs £30 million. Shawcross Stoke £10 million. OUTS – Rooney Real Madrid £60 million. Ferdinand Sunderland £10 million.

There'll be a few more obviously, but these are certainties.

Manchester United will bring in players in January but will loan them back until end of season. They are hoping to tie up deals for Di Maria David Silva, Douglas Costa and Neymar da Silva in January. Im being informed that they have made tentative enquiries for David Villa but are put off by the asking price. They will go for a forward and this will be none other than alexandre pato in summer 2010. They will also kick on with plans to sign jack rodwell given the concerns over rio ferdinands persistent injury annd that Man City are showing interest. They are alson very keen on Argentinian wonderkids Daniel Vilalva and Erik Lamela. The goal keeper position is undecided. Kuszczak and Heaton will be sold. Park will not be sold until after the world cup.

Leeds will add to there dffensive options in january with the purchase of left back ryan dickson and centre back james wilson from brentford trust me on this one it will happen

Chelsea to sign krasic and dzagoev of cska moscow for 30 million

celtc to sign anthony stokes in jnuary for 1 million

How many times must we the Scottish people listen to Rangers excuses. Hopefully afte years of shaming a nation UEFA will throw the book at them. How many teams get away with sectarianism and even their fans insulting one of their own with rascism. Scotlands shame. Mowbray to be sacked in January and Paul Lambert to be installed. He has won the big one with Dortmund and he is long overdue at CP. Boyd to Brum is a stick on along with Miller and Brown.

Re: Preston North End Crisis

Yes, things are bad but Preston will be ok this season and will be sold on by the start of 2010–11.

I know this, as I am friends with somebody who is interested in buying the club (no bull, he wanted to buy Cardiff City until Dato Chan got involved) and if Mr. Hemmings wants to sell to him, the money is all there.

Transfer news – Joe Ledley to Everton in January (£5m, with £2.1m upfront and rest to follow in stages) and Cardiff will replace Ledley with Peter Halmosi. Chopra will move to Fulham in January as he wants another stab at the Premiership, so Dave Jones will loan Vela from Arsenal.

Cassano, toni, heskey, Sol Campbell, Sebastian Giovinco, Stephen Appiah, Lauren, Modeste M'Bami, Noé Pamarot, Marouane Chamakh, Kallstrom are all linked to west ham.
