Liverpool FC looking at Inler of Udinese as possible replacement for Alonso if he goes later this month to Real Madrid. Udinese looking for 18m but a possibility of Dossena going to Udinese this summer or in January could make this deal happen.

Milan wants Adebayor and has offered 20m plus Flamini to Arsenal but Adebayor's agent says he want to stay at Arsenal. .
. . Arsenal may increase effort to attain Melo from fiorentina with increased bid plus Eboue bringing the figure closer to Melo's buy out clause.

Harry Redknapp trying to buy Negredo but must sell Bent to finance any possibly deal which could see Bent joining Sunderland for 10–12m soon.

Sunderland sold Chopra and did not sign Cisse but instead want Bent and Peter Crouch from Portsmouth to be their two strikers for 09/10.

Tevez joining Manchester City within the next couple of week

Manchester United looking for another striker and Benzema going to Real, Villa staying in Spain may tempt Real to offload Huntelaar with a 20m bid who are desperate to sell some players to reduce wage bill for next season and to allow a couple more signings.

John Terry staying with Chelsea and will not be tempted by the 300k a week offer from Manchester City, but Chelsea will sell player for 40m but Terry must hand in a transfer request which he will not do. Manchester City rumoured to turn their attention to Barcelona's Puyol. . no details on this rumour for figures etc

That's all folks
I could be hung drawn and quatered for releasing this information. I work for Sunderland football club and I can confirm 100% the clubs shopping list. There are other players being considered, but these are the primary NAME targets Bruce is interested in. Bruce is also interested in a right back, but would like to look at the squad first before deciding on any more signings.

Da Silva (Free)
Dunne (£5m)
Bent (£10.5)
Crouch (£14m)
Cattermole (£5.5)
Pennant (Free)
Hunt (£5m)

Pennant, Bent and Da Silva look the most likely to arrive first.

Please note that none of these players are certain, just who the club are considering, bidding for or in talks with.
First of all im ann LFC fan, so no axe to grind, but a couple of proper pieces of info ( not fans wish lists) Man U are in talks with Sevilla for Luis Fabiano. There will be a sale but price not agreed yet. Man U value the player at 10m , sevilla 16m. will probably be a deal somewhere in between.
Also Atletico Madrid have accepted Spurs 12m bid for Maxi Rodruigez and are urging the player to accept as they are strapped for cash. The player is unsure and wants to hold out to see if there are other english clubs higher up the pecking order interested. Toro Espana

Here are BIG rumours I've heard regarding the big 4 and naturally Real Madrid.

ARSENAL
GK – Arsene is happy with Mannone, Fabianski adn Almunia.
DF – Clichy is the left back, despite the signing of Vermaelen. Armand Traore is coming back from loan after a successful spell at Pompey as a reserve. Vermaelen is coming in to partner Toure at centre back, while Gallas doesn't wish to stay as a reserve next season. Man City are looking at him as they want to concentrate on sorting their defence. They aren't getting Toure or Terry, so Gallas is next and seeing as he wants to leave, it is a possibility. Although Inter Milan are supposedly looking at him, so he could join Inter.
MF – With Wenger known to take chances on his youth so Wilshere will be reserve to Arshavin next season. Centre midfield will be Melo and Nasri, with Denilson and Diaby as reserve. Many people will have noticed Fabregas isn't mentioned. That is because he's on his way out of the Emirates joining Barca for £45m. Wenger doesn't want a player who doesn't want to play for Arsenal as he's expressed his desire to join Barca. Felipe Melo is joining for £15m + Eboue. He signed the new contract so the Viola could get more money out of him and they have said he is only leaving if Eboue is part of a deal. Rosicky is going to be reserve to Walcott.
ST – Adebayor isn't leaving so the strikers stay pretty much the same. Adebayor and Van Persie, Vela and Eduardo, with Simpson 5th choice. Bendtner is leaving for £8m to AC Milan.

CHELSEA
GK – Cech and Turnbull are the keepers next season. Hilario is leaving for QPR.
DF – Left back Ancelotti wants Zhirkov and Ferreira. Zhirkov has agreed a contract with Chelsea and they have agreed a fee with CSKA Moscow. Ashley Cole has rejected a contract and is set to join Madrid for £20m. Terry isn't leaving any time soon so he'll stay alongside Alex, Ivanovic and Mancienne. Right backs will be Belletti playing reserve to Maicon. Chelsea are willing to pay the £25m asking price. Bosingwa will leave for £30m to Bayern Munich, but only after Ribery joins Madrid. Carvalho obviously off to
MF – Ancelotti is ready to drop Chelsea's 4–3–3 tactic and opt for a 4–4–2. Scott Sinclair will be LM and reserve to Malouda. CM will be a surprise, with Essien, Lampard and Mikel joining Massimo Ambrosini for £6m. Deco is leaving for Inter for a combined fee of £12m with Carvalho, while Ballack is off to Eastlands for £5.5m. At right mid Clarence Seedorf will be joining his former boss for £7.5m with Joe Cole as his reserve.
ST – Drogba and Anelka will be the 2 strikers. Ancelotti doesn't see the point in changing a winning formula. And with the recent signing of Sturridge they have 5 strikers. Pizarro, Sturridge and Kalou are the reserve strikers, allowing Di Santo to join Balckburn on loan. If he does well then Pizarro will leave next season for £5m.

LIVERPOOL
GK – With one of the best goalies in the world and one which has his backing, there is no point in changing.
DF – Dossena will leave after the seasons Insua and Aurelio had. He is far too attacking yet is rated as the best Italian left–back. He will join Juventus for £7m. Centre backs will see Micah Richards joining for £6m. He will be joining Skrtel, Carragher and Agger. Degen is off to Germany for £1m while Arbeloa will join Real Madrid in exchange for Negredo. Darby will be the reserve to Johnson.
MF – With Rafa reverting to a 4–4–2, there will be new signings this summer. David Silva will be joining for £22m as LM, leaving Riera to be 2nd choice. Gerrard will be partnered with Mascherano in centre mid with Lucas and Michael Johnson being their reserves. Johnson joining for £5m, while Alonso is off for £30m to Real Madrid. Babel will be reserve to Kuyt at right mid.
ST – Torres, Negredo and N'Gog will have Sergio Aguero as the new striker. He will join for £30m + Benayoun. Nemeth will be 5th choice.

MAN UTD
GK – Van Der Sar and Foster will be the goalkeepers at Old Trafford next season. Kuszczak will leave for £3m to Zenit.
DF – Evra and Fabio will be the left backs, while Vidic and Ferdinand will be centre, with O'Shea and Evans as reserves. Wes Brown and Rafael will be right backs. Gary Neville is off to Ipswich while Craig Cathcart will join Burnley for £1m. Danny Simpson is joining Middlesborough for £2m.
MF – Giggs will be given a final year at Old Trafford, and will retire alongside Ferguson at the end of the season. Tosic is the backup. Carrick, Hargreaves, Fletcher and Anderson will be centre mids, with Carrick and Fletcher being the first choices. Valencia and Park will be the right mids, with Nani joining Everton on loan with view to buy for £8m. Darren Gibson is leaving for Sunderland for £3m, while Scholes is staying on for a year, as part of a League Cup team.
ST – Berbatov and Rooney are the first choice strikers this season, with Owen and Macheda as reserves, although Ferguson sees Macheda as a 5th choice so expect another striker signed by August, with Bojan joining on loan. Manucho will be loaned out with Preston emerging as early front runners and Campbell off to Hull for £6m. Also, a shed load of youngsters joining such as Douglas Costa. Also, the man to replace Ferguson next season is none other than The Special One himself. Inter fans cannot stand his arrogance and he knows he isn't wanted, and with Man United giving Ferguson permission to pick his own successor it looks very likely.

REAL MADRID
GK – Casillas is obviously staying, whereas Dudek isn't. He is off to Poland for £2m while his replacement is a shocker in Craig Gordon for £6m.
DF – Left backs will be Marcelo and Ashley Cole, who's joining for £20m. Gabriel Heinze is returning to the Premiership for £5m to Sunderland. Raul Albiol has been signed for £8m to partner Pepe in centre defence. Metzelder is the 2nd choice alongside another shock signing of David Wheater for £6m. Salgado is taking a new contract which will give him a coaching role at the club. Ramos and Miguel Torres as the right backs.
MF – Ronaldo and Drenthe will be the LM at the club, with Arjen Robben leaving for Inter for £25m. Kaka and Alonso will be above Gago and Diarra in the pecking order with Guti staying on. Mahamadou Diarra is joining Bordeaux for £13m while Van Der Vaart will be taking a surprise move to Aston Villa for £15m. De La Red is off to Villarreal for £7m. Right mid will be Wesley Sneijder with David Bentley joining for £8m as backup.
ST – Benzema is bound to be the first choice with Klass–Jan Huntelaar partnering him. Raul and Higuain will be backups while Van Nistelrooy is off to the Prem, most likely Everton for £4m, while Negredo is joining Liverpool.
  Man U To Bring in
Sergio Aguero £42m Plus Nani Loan
Gabriel Obertan 10m
Douglas Costa 14m
Maybe Yaya Toure 18m
and expect a bid for a world class stricker
Eto'o 25m Or Zlatan Ibrahimovic 40m

I have been reading this site for a while and do not have any inside knowledge but would like to propose a few questions to see if anyone has any views on them.

Firstly, with the recent signing of Zhirkov at Chelsea I have two questions. Does anyone think this could spell the departure of A. Cole to R. Madrid? Also, Why have no clubs, looking for a right full back, made any bids for Zhirkov's international counterpart Aleksander Anyukov, of Zenit St. Petersburg, or for young Brazilian talent Rafinha, of FC Schalke? Any views?

Secondly, With many clubs looking for a centre midfeilder and with money to spend (i.e. Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal, R. Madrid, and possibly Liverpool). Why have players such as; Marcos Senna, Yohann Gourcuff, Lorik Cana, Gojko Kacar, Mehmet Topal, Raul Garcia, Micheal Bradley, Mesut Ozil, and Miralem Sulejmani, not been mentioned, espaecially as some of these players showed sensational form at the European U21 championships? Also does anybody really think players such as Micheal Essien, Xavi, or Andres Iniesta will be allowed to move by their clubs? Any thoughts?

Thirdly, With teams such as Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Barcelona, and AC Milan all showing interest in signing a prolific striker. Why are none of these clubs considering a bid for FC Groningen and Sweden's Marcus Berg, for a player who would only cost around £10 million and would probably guarantee around 15 goals a season from the bench in a top league? Surely a safe bet for some return on your money? Also Gabriel Agbonlahor would surely be an excellent signing for one of the aforementioned English teams, even if he would be more pricey? Any ideas?

Finally, With many clubs (such as Manchester United, Liverpool, Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Inter Milan, and Chelsea) looking to strengthen in wide areas. Why are houshold names such as; Ashley Young, Danny, Fabio Quagliarella, Hatem Ben Arfa, Kim Kallstrom, Freddy Adu, Ibrahim Affellay, Ricardo Quaresma, Lisandro Lopez, Simao Sabrosa, Maximilliano Rodriguez, and Landon Donovan, not being mentioned? Also, Does anyone agree that most of these players would have been a better use of the £16 million spent on Antonio Valencia (who only scored 3 premiership goals last season, albeit with unfashionable Wigan Athletic) with regards to replacing Cristiano Ronaldo?

Look forward to reading any replies. By the way I am a Manchester United fan who lives in Scotland.

Thanks,

JS23.
Rumour has it that Sir Alex Ferguson is investing only in relatively young players this summer. He is about to capture winger Gabriel Obertan from Bordeaux and is also on the verge of signing Udinese striker Alexis Sanchez for a fee supposedly around the region of 12 million pounds. The reason for this is because he is planning to step down soon and plans to build a team for the future, so that he knows United are in good hands when the next manager takes up the reigns.
Ashley Young's transfer to Everton is a step closer today after Everton and Aston Villa agreed a fee of £16.5m for the unsettled midfielder. Young and Villa boss, Martin O'Neil, are no longer on speaking terms, and a move away from the Midlands would suit Young, who views Everton as able to satisfy his desire to perform on the world stage.

and a centre back for cover. .

b4 anyone starts jumping on me,, im a wolves fan and think this is what may happen amongst the big spenders this summer. .
all these transfers might not happen but i can guarentee they will be enquired or rumoured on the press in the coming weeks. .
peace out,, wolves for a top ten finish!!!!!!
Some of things on here are just????????????????
swindon 2 get s.john and lee holmes???? that will not happen because john does not want ot move and lee has family and friends in the area. they also recently stated that they wanted to dtart again at southampton and get a promotion on there Cenough of that now the reason arsene has arranged a friendly against valencia so late is because arsenal have signed. . . . . . .manuel fernandes YOU HEARD IT HER 1ST!!!
BTW i am a saints fan before you start speculating
Now this is just a rumour i've heard from a friend so how true it is i dont. Im reluctant to believe it myself as ive heard so many like this before but he has no reason to lie so its made me wonder.
He has just seen Moutinho greeting his misses as she got out of a taxi in the marriot in liverpool town centre. Ive heard recently that both everton and the other lot are both interested in the guy so watch this space i guess. I hope he comes to the mighty blues
Just a rumour that I have heard from a a goof friend in Liverpool. Last season's Robbie Keane fiasco actually has a twist to it. It was leaked to the media that Spurs paid Liverpool £16m to get Keane back, after initially selling for £20m. This isn't true, apparently. Liverpool did indeed buy Keane for £20.5m cash. But Spurs have so far paid just £6.2m of that back. The deal is as follows: For every full season Keane remains with Spurs, Liverpool shall receive £3.1m. This will be paid at the end of the season's campaign. The next installment is due at the end of next season. In other words, the "leaked" £16m figure is only applicable if Keane stays at Spurs for 4 seasons (3.5 to be precise, of which 3 now remain). If Spurs sell Keane now, Liverpool have lost a hefty £15m.
Can someone clear something up for me,
Why would tevez join Man city if the only reason he's not joining 'pool is cause he's loyal to the mancs?

What is going on his head?

I sure hope the lovely guys at www.football–rumours.co.uk post this and I would like to say that they're doing a cracking job.

Ollie Niddrie

[editor's note – flattery will get you everywhere ;o) though it's guy not guys lol]
Liverpool have has an informal bid for alonso which is thought to be verbaly agreed. The bid will not be launched untill the time out of the contract with Real Socied. The deal is Sniejder + 20m.

Liverpool will then do another swap with madrid which is arbeloa for Negredo

Liverpool will then sign Robben from madrid for 8m

Then Mascherano will be sold for 25m + Yaya

Liverpool will loan lucas and bring in noble 8m

Silva or Mata will eventually be signed. 23m

Reira Leaves 8m
Babel leaves 12m

Richards comes in for 8m

Transfer window closes

  FC Barcelona Transfer News!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If David Villa goes anywhere, it will be to barca
Yaya Toure will stay even if Mascherano comes as Guardiola believes he is a strong asset. .Yaya Toure (and Pep and Laporta) has publicly stated that he is looking forward to the next season with Barcelona.
The rumors about Xavi going to Manchester United are not true at all, Xavi loves barca and won't leave. .so stop dreaming, he loves us and we love him. He has always said that he WILL retire at FC Barcelona.
Eto'o wants to stay due to taxes in England, and if Villa comes, he will still get plenty of playing time
The only players that we might sell are Hleb(unlikely that he will leave) and Gudjohnsen.
Liverpool will sign David Silva in the next week for 23m that will be the only big signing unless Alonso leaves with Sneijder being his replacement.
  ARSENAL NEWS
Ribery and Melo are not coming – Melo has said no and Ribery had his chance a year or two ago and is now too far out of our price range.

I know one of the blokes who is an asistant at London Colney and he says that there are never any rumours on who Wenger is after, nobody has a clue except Wenger himself and the board. Aparently the negotiations are kept so hush hush that even the scouts do not know which of the players they have scouted are being bid for.

I would expect to see us bring in about 3 to 4 more players. A centre back – Richards looks likley, a CM – no idea at all and 2 youngsters – Hazard will be one of these as both Wenger and Hazard have been talking up the move for months. The other youngster will be the young dutch forward who will be loaned back out to the team we buy him from – this won't happen until later on in the window.

City to sign Terry £40m Eto'o £25m and Tevez £25m this week. Also expect Alexi Sanchez and Hernanes for £10m a piece. You heard it here fisrt. City will be top 4 this year.
  MAN UTD NEWS

After missing out on Karim Benzema who chose Real Madrid, Fergie turned his attention to Sergio Aquero. Aquero will sign for £35–45m and will become the clubs new number 7.
This will help comfort most fans, after losing arguably the best player to grace the club since Best. Other rumours I'm hearing around Spain are that Sir Alex is pondering a combined move for van der Vaart, Robben and Sneijder, a move for Samuel Eto'o and Xavi. Although Fergie sees Iniesta as the better of the two, Barca will want a huge sum of money for him.

Im an arsenal fan but we need to live in the real world there will be one or two more moves by wenger in the summer as he feels this young team will keep maturing and is going places. He wants to keep the team together and create a fantastic team spirit throughout the team. For this reason adebayor is gone and good riddence flamini will come as part of the deal. Hazard as well will be signed and loaned back to lille for next season as part of the deal. wenger will do everything he can to hang on to fabregas but if he does go he may make a bid for Michael Carrick and /or Joe Cole depending on the moves utd and Chelsea make. No headline players coming to north London expect Eduardo and Arshavin as front two next season. Sorry fellow gooners i want wenger to put his hand in his pocket as much as anyone but ain't gonna happen

  Norwich City Football Club News.

The last week has been a quiet one on the signing front however it seems that this week could all change as Gunny looks to wrap up all his transfer targets within the next two weeks. .

Alan Lee continues to be in talks with City over a £400K switch to Carrow Road to spearhead the attack next year.
Norwich will also table a 3rd bid for Derby striker Liam Dickinson, although they will clearly state that this is their last offer and will not be renewing their interest should this be rejected.
Another big signing to be made this week is Daryl Flahaven to fill the number one spot although an Irish premier league goalkeeper is reportedly training with the canaries.
Expect Mcveigh to re–sign on either a season–long deal or a pay–as–you–play contract to add some experience and NCFC knowledge to the squad.
Scott Nielson will be the second non–league player signed since Cody Mcdonald, coming in for a reported £25K from Cambridge.
That just leaves a couple more signigns Gunn wants in the door by the start of the season, expect to see Wade Small in either a permanant or loan deal and Paul Ifil from Colchester to give Semmy some competition for the RB slot.

Its not all good though canary fans as there will be some departures on the way as well should the offers be of sufficient quality. .
Sammy Clingan will be sold only if the bid amounts to £2.5M.
Russell will be sold if the valuation of £750K is met.
As will Cureton for the same price tag.

To the fellow United fan who said "Sir alex knows that goals can come from midfield players, so no more strikers coming to old trafford" then you included in the players coming to OT "aguero. . . . . . . . .25+nani", Aguero is a striker, I am starting to understand why people come onto this website and have a go at 'deluded' United fans stating wishlists.
MUFC to sign Silva (£25m), Dodo (£5m), Costa (£15m), Essien (£20m) and maybe a young striker, but only if Fergie sells Berba, but I doubt it.
CFC have signed Zhirkov as well as Sturridge and Turnbull. They might sign a CB if Terry goes, but I seriously doubt he will leave, he's a Chelsea man through and through.
LFC to sign depending on who leaves, such as if Alonso leaves they will buy a player of the same style and the same applies if Mascherano leaves, but I think only one of them will leave, if any (probably Alonso).
  To however said this:
''Can someone explain to me why does Real Madrid want to sign Maicon?RM Has Sergio Ramos playing in Right Back,or do they want to play Maicon in Left Back or something?
Explain to me please if you can.Thank you.''
It is a myth, at the beginning of the transfer 'season,' RM wanted him to play RB, and put Sergio Ramos at CB, however, now that they've signed Albiol, they will play Ramos at RB, and thus don't need Maicon, its just his agent who keeps saying madrid want him, as he wants money!
The Frech guy is another Bellion, Tarbadt(Spurs),like the Fauerbaut, Marlet, etc ,etc,.I think they'll go for Giovinci to replace Scholes.Henry Winter hinted on Twitter.Toure won't join cos he just extened.I'm telling you Modric, Pastore and K Jones

Will people stop saying that henry is on his way to liverpool. He has said countless times that ifhe was to move back to england, he would move back to arsenal. But its not very likely that he is planning to move anyway.

Melo WILL sign for arsenal for 15.5m + eboue

Blaise Matuidi will sign for arsenal for an undisclosed fee. rumours circulating are 7m and bentner on a season long loan.

flamini will return to arsenal, with adebayor going to AC. the deal is thought to be 17M+flamini for adebayor

Also, cesc fabregas DOES want to leave arsenal, but it will be to barcalona not real madrid. BUT, fabregas insists that he will stay for atleast 2 more years. and he may stay longer, depending on if any trophies are won.

Along with Johnson, all three will be unveiled in a press conference on the 11th of July. There will only be one more signing without selling and that will be Juan Mata for €17m.

People reading this may think that Liverpool do not have the funds to make these transfers, WRONG! In case you don't know, Liverpool have successfully made a refinancing deal with RBS for more funds.

Andrea Dossena, Andriy Voronin, Albert Riera, Alvaro Arbeloa, Ryan Babel, Lucas, Philipp Degen, Charles Itandje and Sebastian Leto will be sold to make a total of €70m. Philipp Lahm will be bought for €35m as he has repeatedly stated that he wants to leave Munich. Even if Xabi Alonso does not leave Liverpool, Alvaro Negredo WILL join Liverpool for €15m. The final €20m will be given to Rafa to spend in either January or next summer, however if need be, then he will make an emergency signing.
AFC: Brede Hangeland just rejected a new contract at fulham to join arsenal this summer for £12 million – to get the money, wenger will sell either Gallas or Touré to ManCity
Blackburn have had 3 million pound bid rejected for Chris Eagles my sources inform me.
With nearly 5 weeks to go before the Premier League kicks off will people please stop slagging off other clubs for spending little or not buying at all up till now. Real Madrid have derailed plans of other teams, especially those of Man Utd, but when the log jam is eventaully broken and the money filters through it'll be manic!

The Owen move is good for Man Utd, Owen and hopefully England. Why LFC supporters are abusing him is beyond me when he made it clear he would like to return to them with a much reduced pay packet. Blame Rafa, not Owen! SAF likes to have 4 strikers so to avoid the Tevez situation repeating itself Owen will be the fourth striker behind Rooney, Berbatov and one more big signing. Owen on the bench provides another option, something that Liverpool supporters consistently claimed was one of their problems last season, and at a small price. Oh Rafa, pride may have meant you've missed a trick.

Anyway, the priority for SAF will be another striker. The Torres thing is nonsense, Villa won't leave Spain and Eto'o is too old for the money. That leaves a short shopping list:
Aguero at over £40m with or without Nani swap
–or–
Klaas–Jan Huntelaar at a knock down price of £15m

Douglas Costa will be eventually sign but at a higher price than SAF wanted to pay. Also on the list will possibly be a defensive midfielder and maybe a right back too. The search for a keeper will continue but may be left for another year.

Out will go:
> Nani (loan or sold/p exed)
> F Campbell (sold)
> Manucho (sold)
> Kuszczak (sold) subject to Foster's fitness

Park, Brown and O'Shea (unfortunately) will stay.
Giggs, Neville and Scholes will have one more season.

Let's judge the transfers when the season starts.
To the Norwich fan saying the club is trialling an un–known keeper named Michael Theoklitos. . he's from Australia and he's crap. Played for Melbourne Victory in the Australian A–league and thought he was the bees knees. . a big fish in a small pond. Responds to the name of "Theo. . Theo. . Good Luck if you get him!!
Stewart Downing will Sign for Villa before the end of the week. Definitely going to happen, remember where you saw it first.
Melo is in contract talks with arsenal and has already passed a medical the transfer will be public in a matter of days
Alan Shearer has finally lost his patience waiting for the Newcastle United takeover to be completed and he has now accepted the offer to be Southampton's new manager and he will be unveiled at a Press Conference at 1 o'clock next Thursday.
Rob Lee and John Carver will be joining Shearer's backroom staff.
