Rotherham want to sign Jack Lester from ChesterfieldFC in a player coaching role this and next season and he is not in the CFC managers plans.
Wont be allowed out on loan locally much to his alledged annoyance

he's too old the Millers wouldn't want lester this rumour is wrong.

Definitely is in the manager's plans, cook's already asked lester about his future and wants him to stay on for next season.

Cook does not want him that's the issue hence him not getting a game.

I seen him on many occasions at sheffield he is a real good player and lad technically very very good and knows where the net is he really never got a fair chance here under Wilson and know that Chris Morgan rated him very highly and was amazed to learn he was being released I hope you give him a chance and he gets a run in your 1st team I really do think he will score goals given that chance I personally would like to wish him well and hope things work for him at Coventry

Not very often you get a genuine post like that. There are any cynical fans at CCFC but this boy has got the chance to warn himself a longer deal between now and the end of the season.

Think we got planning permission when we were in prem before and it runs out in November time so if we don't do it by then we will have to reaply for it

The planning permission is already in place and has been for sometime but its now due to expire which would mean RFC would need to begin work on the extension by November 2013. Anton recently said in the press that RFC will submit new plans so NO it won't happen this November but soon after in 2014 subject to the new design being approved for 38,000 capacity. Subject to planning, perm status and The club signing a few high profile players. Enough said Ed003. {Ed003's Note - I just thought I would let you guys have the right to reply,even though it was done to death in a recent thread some people don't get it,cheers pal.}

To be fair pompey should not even be in the league they had more chances than any other club, I for one hope they go to the wall

Pompey will not go bust because the fans will save it. Southampton were in Administration not long ago and set to go bust but were saved at the last minute by a very wealthy businessman, as their fans had done little to save them. That should tell you something about the passion of the Pompey fans and what sort of party we will have once we own our club!

I am not a saints fan but portsmouth have had more chances than other teams, luton got hammered as did bournemouth not long ago, the debts you ran up and the local businesses and schools you failed to pay is a disgrace I wouldn't want to see you go bust but think you are extremely lucky to still be playing

As a saints season ticket holder I just hope Pompey manage to survive if its a saints fan wanting Pompey gone he must have a short memory it could have been soton gone a while back. Pompey fans have been brilliant.

Fair play to the REAL Saints fan who would like Pompey to be saved and praises Pompey fans, that Saints guy is a true football fan.
I know there is rivalry between both but Pompey fans are superb and do not deserve to go under.
They are in desperate times and to still get 11000 at home in their predicament, not won in 15 and still in Admin deserves to be saved.
Hear that the Supporters Trust will get some wealthy backing, I hope so for their amazing fans.

The fans will not save it! It is easy to pledge money, but there will be very little forthcoming if and when it is called for. This is the most stupid waste of time and effort to sustain a club that should have been dealt with as per Rangers. No idea where the money will come from even to pay the administrator-what an absolute farce!
Quite understand the Pompey fans grasping at every straw going but the football authorities have been totally clueless on this issue and should act now, not the end of the season. How can this be fair to other clubs in L1 who are trying to survive in the league, get promotion or avoid relegation and 6 points are at stake against a club who are receiving special treatment?

What a foolish commeent, saying that the fans will not save Pompey. The Trust has already collected over a third of the 3,000 pledges and money is still coming in. They also have a number of high net worth TYrust members who have already put in £1m to help run the club THIS season. The club has not received special treatment either, being deducted 10 points in each of the last three seasons and having a squad limited to 20 players. At least have some idea of the facts before you post on here.

That's the FL for you. They will announce it when all the checks are done. As with the failed bid, do you think that Jed would put the same consortium together for our bid as he did for Luton? It doesn't make sense if he failed in a lower league he won't have any chance with the FL.
