1. Adebayor is being touted round here, there and everywhere but while Arsenal's form is improving a bit, Wenger is unsure whether to disrupt his squad. Arsene rates him highly but knows he needs regular games or he could become the frustrating maverick Kanu became. He may consider sending him out on loan in January, with Newcastle, Marseilles and Man City possible destinations. Don't believe any Barca rumours as Wenger knows he'll be in the same situation there.
2. Alex Ferguson is lining up a few players for January as he's concerned the spark has gone out of the team and will be gone even more when Scholes and Giggs decline. He's eyeing up creative midfielders (not the defensive targets everyone is saying as he already has them). He's particulary looking at Maxi Rodrigues, Wesley Sneijder, Riquelme and youngsters like Ryan Babel, Freddy Adu and Bale of Southampton.
3. Chelsea are thinking about a clearout already in the summer! Shevchenko is an obvious one but Roman and Jose rate him and don't want him to go. More likely are SWP, Ferreira, Geremi and surprisingly Ballack who they are unsure will ever fit in properly. They may also listen to offers for Robben if the fee is massive as they feel he's too inconsistent. if these go through they'll target hungry players (ie quality players at less successful clubs who have something to prove). Bids for Micah Richards, Vincent Kompany, Frank Ribery, Simao, Aaron Lennon and Fernando Torres are possibilities.
4. Liverpool will try to invest wisely (ie not spend ridiculous sums a la Shevchenko, Carrick etc who are overpriced). They will look to players like Lucas Neill and work with Agger, Gonzalez and Paletta to bring them through.
5. Spurs will go back to the drawing board as this years team isn't as good as last year. Ekotto (however you spell it) isn't as good as they thought so a left back is a priority. Also they will sell Murphy, Mido, Defoe (as he's unhappy), Stalteri, Davids etc. Expect Huddlestone to figure prominently as he is class and hasn't had a chance yet. He'll be knocking on the England door by this time next year and will progress like Dawson.For the person who said Glen Johnson is 25 and not 22 his D.O.B is 23 Aug 1984 so work it out.

If he does come in, the money will be in place for him to sign Jason Koumas from West Brom in january and a quality CB and RB, word around Carrow Road is that this pair will be Christian Dailly if norwich fans forgive him for what he did to Phil Mulryne and Danny Mills could make a suprise return to the club.Glen Hoddles is enterested in the West Brom Albion job.
=v1=Man U are interested in Kieron Dyer as reported and Ferguson would pay up to £7 million for the Newcastle midfielder, however Dyer is not first choice and Ferguson would prefer to offer £10 million for Blackburn winger, Morten Gamst Pederson as cover for Giggs.
