Have posted 3 Stoke stories on here- two came off and the Begovic to Chelsea was a rejected bid in January. This is from inside the club.
Stoke are in advanced talks with two La Liga players. One, a fullback looking very promising.
Peter Crouch has had talks and hasn't ruled out a move although both parties are a long way apart

Have it on good authority that Harry Redknapp is prepared to let Jermain Defoe leave WHL and the club have agreed an £8.5m fee with a foreign club.
Peter Crouch and Wilson Palacios are also going to be sold with both players already having spoken with officials at Stoke City. Harry wants £15m for the pair though.
Luka Modric looks set for a move to Man Utd, but Spurs are holding out for the full £30m and will not accept Dimitar Berbatov in part exchange who Man Utd still value at £13m. Harry is more interested in Brazilian midfielder Anderson at £10m.
Strikers galore will be linked to Spurs in the summer with Crouch, Defoe and Keane expected to depart. Andy Rhodes will leave Wednesday and take up the vacant gk coach position.
This will trigger a move for Jordan Rhodes who is on way back to ipswich for a fee of around 800k after growing frustration of sitting on the bench at hudders.

Jack Cork held talks with Stoke's chief executive Tony Scholes over the weekend whilst Tony Pulis was on holiday in Paris. Negotiations have stalled until Pulis is back and will start again towards the end of the week. No meeting has been pencilled in as of yet.
Jack will be visiting Leeds and Southampton for talks before returning to Stoke and making his final decision. He is looking for guarantees of first team football.
Also, Poulsen has turned down Stoke as he feels it is too much of a step down and does not want to half his wages. Bradley Johnson turned down Stoke for Norwich as Pulis would not guarantee him first team football. Snodgrass is likely to follow this decision and do the same although his talks with Stoke are still ongoing.
Furthermore, Tony Scholes and John Rudge met with Wilson Palacios this morning to discuss a deal although any agreement is a long way off with Stoke wanting him to take a wage cut. The fee with Spurs is not an issue (£11m). Stoke have also offered Chelsea £8m for Daniel Sturridge, although they are yet to hear back, there is a 99% chance it will be turned down.
I will try and keep you up to date with all transfer dealings going on at Stoke this summer.

I realise what your saying, but look at the teams that came up last season. West Brom and Newcastle, both rich clubs that have vast experience in the premier league with quality players. This year you have QPR and Norwich from automatics, its happening too fast for Norwich, promoted twice by luck in my opinion especially in the championship. They have NO good players, i honestly think they need to sign too many quality players to stay up instead of buying cheap championship players. QPR are a tiny bit better, i think if any of them have a chance, it will be QPR if there board get their act together. They need to build around Taarabt then maybe they have a chance.

Stoke, Hull, Wolves, Reading. None of them were any better than QPR, Norwich or Swansea when promoted. Stoke and Hull were much smaller clubs, small fanbases that didnt play attractive football when promoted but managed to grind out results.
If you think norwich have no good players you are seriously mistaken and have probably not seen them play. Hoolahan (top quality attacking mid, could be this seasons Charlie Adam albeit a slightly older version), Holt (53 goals in 92 apps), Jackson towards the back end of the season (11 goals in 9 games, bags of pace), Add to the the signing of Morison (15 goals last season) Vaughan (Bags of pace, good finish 11 goals in a terrible team, Palace, last year), Fox has a great range of passing, however there will need to be an experienced DM alongside him for him to be effective in the prem. Defence is suspect, Russel Martin is prem quality, CB positions and LB will need strengthening, and another keeper to compete with Ruddy.
If Norwich can improve defensively they will be a match for most bottom half teams and should be in with a great chance of staying up, yes it will be difficult, but in Paul Lambert they have one of the brightest young managers in British football and will have a right good go at it.(8)(10)

This is coming from a friend who is a football agent, and has a couple of players at Ibrox:
Cagliari and Bologna's interest in Hemed is only going to speed up his move to Rangers, as McCoist rates him and wants to get him signed asap. As for Cribari, Rangers have upped their offer in a bid to lure him to Ibrox, but he has apparently stated that he will reject all offers in order to move back home to Brazil. He has heard nothing specific about Granqvist, although he knows a scout was recently sent to Northen Europe/ Scandinavia, but this could have been for Bedoya who we were also linked with. Also says Danny Wilson is all but certain to return on loan after Rangers agree how much of his £20k p/ w wages they will pay. Other names that he has been hearing in and around Ibrox are Cardiff's English Duo Mark Hudson and Peter Whittingham who have apparently grew tired of Championship football and want to prove themselves on a bigger stage. Although they are apparently waiting on who is appointed Cardiff's new manager and what his plan is. The fee's for this duo are believed to be around £1-1.2M for Hudson and £2.5-3+M for Whittingham.
Regarding to those leaving Ibrox, Bougherra still has his heart set on a move, but he has heard nothing of him sending a recorded delivery letter to the club saying he is quitting. Weir may stay, but on a player/ coach deal and will be used sparingly, and it also depends on his family's, who still live in Liverpool, decision, as Everton have also offered him a coaching role. Diouf, Weiss and Healy will not be returing, but there is a possibilty of Bartley returning on a 1 year deal, it is unknown if it is a loan or permanent. To the Southampton suppoters who contiunue to react to the Brighton fans who claim to be the next big team, as a loyal Brighton fan, whos been a season ticket holder at Withdean, Gillingham and The Goldstone, Brighton are finally a well run club, that after years of utter s--t we now have so much to look forward too, the stadium the chairman and the manager are brilliant, Im sure we will finish in the top dozen, last season at St Marys the first half you stuffed us, second half we played a lot more and missed the penalty, at our place we tried to beat you know doubt but didnt simple as that, did we take our foot off the gas possibly, but we still went out to beat you. Transfer wise Brighton will sign good players soon, but the club keep things very close to their chest these days.

Will sign a lucrative deal.
