Ward-Prowse of Southampton interesting Swansea City.

I expect if the truth was known he's on the radar of a lot of clubs, let's just hope he stays.

I would expect nothing less, as this lad has a very bright future ahead of him. What is certain is that it is unlikely that the Swans could afford him. Ward-Prowse will not be going anywhere unless a) he wants to leave and b) Clubs wanting to buy him meet Saints valuation of him.
If James wants to leave, just like AOC, he will cost top dollar for whoever wishes to buy him.

For those that don't know the plan for the future at Southampton is to have 50% of the first team having been developed by our academy. This won't be achieved by selling off all their prized assets, so will costs teams more than cheaper options from the continent.

Ward-Prowse has already expressed his desire to stay... So I can't see him leaving any time soon.

Ward-Prowse is impressing several teams. I would imagine he will be staying though. He is enjoying himself at Southampton it seems and he manages to play for the side. I imagine we will hear about offers for him just like Shaw but we are now adamant to keep our youngsters for the structure of the club.

Can't see it, they'd have to really cough up as Adkins/Cortese really rate him and Saints don't need to sell at all.

No way would we get rid of ward-prowse he will go up to be an english great

Prowsey just signed a new 5 year deal... so i dont think so

Michael Appleton has held talks with the blackpool chairman set to be appointed tomorrow remember this it will be right

Dont think this is the right move. Rather have ince. But if he comes it might work

Blackpool chairman Karl Oyston has today held talks with Portsmouth manager Michael Appleton.
The Seasiders are looking for a new manager after Ian Holloway moved to Crystal Palace over the weekend.

Paul Ince and Owen Coyle are favourites {Ed003's Note - Appleton is}

Yes, Appleton is, he has recent experience of managing donkeys!

Appy - Please stay

Well we need to tell him the donkeys are on the beach, so he will keep away from bloomfield road and leave the pool players alone. UTMP

Walsall are in talks with Preston about taking forward Keammar Daley on loan, Daley has not played at all this season but scored one in six last season.

Daley is currently on north ends transfer list and has been since the summer

Daley wont go out on loan he as turned down a few loan deals

Charlton have failed in a move to sign West Ham's young full back Callum Driver on loan

Love to have buzsaky at charlton, still trying to work out why a player of his class who was playing in the qpr first team at the end of last season ended up on a 3 month deal at league 2 pompey.

League 1 actually

^for the time being

Hull City are to sign two loan players as replacements for injured pair Joe Dudgeon and Matty Fryatt.

Pompey have circulated the names of three players they wish to loan out. Liam Walker and Josh Thompson are among the trio. Appleton is hoping to then bring in loan players to replace them and strengthen his squad. with a big striker top of his priorities, nothing expected to happen before the Brentford match though

Norwich City manager Chris Hughton is planning to bring Valerenga's creative midfielder Mohammed Fellah to the club in January or the Summer to be the successor to Wes Hoolahan in the future

Bring in some more Norwich Norwegians! Tettey, Moa and Fellah!

What sources do u have? Fellah is an interesting player.... Would like to see him in yellow, but not sure he would be a hit

Fellah looks like a quality player. Hoolahan is 30 now and the squad has no proper cover for him in the playmaker role. Lucas Piazon could do a similar role too but would only be a loan option as he is clearly going on to greater things. Tom Carrol is another possibility for cover and might be a potential permanent signing but more likely to be playing for the U21s rather than the first team.

Portsmouth are fighting to keep Ákos Buzsáky after Millwall, Bournemouth and Charlton have all tried to sign the Hungarian playmaker. Buzsáky is currently on a month by month contract at Fratton Park

Bournemouth wont get himas we preparing a big offload this January.

Cannot sign for anyone else before January. Buzsaky has himself said that he is playing at Pompey to gain match fitness with an eye to playing at a higher level.

This is utter rubbish as he is not allawed to sign for another club before January. He said so himself

Those month to month contracts will be Pompey's downfall, what footballer in thier right mind would commit to tackle's etc. when they could be off-loaded due to injury at the end of the month?. The longer this approach goes on the worse it will get, more very low quality players trying to gel on a monthly basis, relegation is a cert.

Brett Pitman is a certain transfer target for manager Eddie Howe. Pitman has only played 3 times for Bristol City this season, albeit from the substitutes bench.

With Bristol City amongst the relegation zone, and the Cherries pushing for promotion, Brett could find himself in the Championship next season playing regular football.

This would be a brilliant transfer move for Bournemouth considering his goals to game ratio, and with Lee Barnard moving back to Southampton in January when his loan move expires, Brett would be the perfect replacement.

Tubbs & Barnard will leave anyway if Thomas stays & then only if we get rid Thomas then we would get Pitman back.

Apparently, Bournemouth are trying to sign henchman on loan till march with chance of a Permian deal!

Cannot sign for anyone else before January. Buzsaky has himself said that he is playing at Pompey to gain match fitness with an eye to playing at a higher level. just signed for Barnsley.

MK Dons star Stephen Gleeson is pondering a move to Charlton Athletic. The South Londoners are keen to boost their midfield and are making another attempt to lure the 24 Irishman away from the Dons.

Gleeson signed a new two year contract in the summer when initial talks with Charlton fell through.

Gleeson will only go if we fail to get promoted. No way he won't see the season out. He'll cost ;-)

He's a goner so then... :-(

Yep, along with at least half the first team squad if we don't go up. But we knew that anyway.

Gleeson won't go in January though, unless its silly money and enables Robbo to bring in his targets.

Does not score or create enough for me, so if Gleeson goes for good money, then it will allow Robbo to change it a little. ......where have all our goals gone, its not just the strikers!

He is not that good anyway. let him go

Top quality league one player, he would be missed

He will be an expensive purchase, if anyone does get him. Especially as he is still in contract.

Max Gradel in talks with Huddersfield

Not a chance one of the reasons he left Leeds was the manager always played out of position.

Plausible, with a doubt over Adam Hammills future with the club and injuries to Beckford and Vaughan, he could play wide or as a striker. We still need to offload a couple of squad players, anyone want Robinson or Lee?

This may be right. He has been spotted by a few people in Yorkshire

Max Gradel can't settle in France he in talks with Leeds and Huddersfield as he has a property still in the area.

Heard Boro were interested as well.

He wouldn't want to go to anywhere than Leeds, they gave him a big chance after failing at Leicester. He has let these feelings known on his official twitter account. The only possibility of him going to Leeds is if/when the takeover goes through.

Wouldn't go anywhere but Leeds?! Sounds a bit like what you Leeds fans said about Beckford.

We had beckford before and we got the best out of him he wont ever dont what he did at leeds ever again so zzzzz

09 Nov 2012 18:55:05
Beckford only cared about money but Gradel is different and he always says how much he loves leeds on twitter

I`ve heard he wants to go and help Leeds in their relegation battle! Fine work Special Agent Warnock.

Relegation battle bit early to be getting carried away if i was a uddersfield fan i would be worried about having a leeds fan in charge

If I was a Leeds fan I'd be more worried about having a Sheff Utd fan in charge, especially when he puts 3 subs on so early in a game and then let in 6!!!

I would be more worried if we had a blade in charge,oh dear, you have!

Would only go to Leeds? You said the same about Beckford.

Yeah we have a blade in charge and what has your manger ever got a team promoted to the prem enough said

Grayson will run out of ideas shortly just like he did at leeds the man is clueless says the same thing over and over again

Bet larry grayson still has marching on together has his ringtone shame really that your just second best to him isnt it once a leeds fan, always a leeds fan mot4life

How is grayson clueless? sounds like sour grapes to me, every signing he has brought in has made an impact. Hes got the backing and using the money wisely

Maybe he will, maybe he won't but old warlock makes him look like einstein

Definatly sour grapes! looking at warnock and wishing it was grason. leeds be lucky to stay up and as for grayson running out of ideas he hasnt put a foot wrong and dont worry about huddersfield they are fine byt 17th in the leaguge and warnock in charge...slippery slope

Warnock 7 promotions need i say more just face it uddersfield are the 5th best side in yorkshire and thats been fair leeds are and always will be the top dog!

Have the mighty huddersfield ever played in the prem no, what honours has your club ever won none, and you cant even fill your ground even though its a league one ground at best need i say more leedsmad

What have we won, what honours, we won the league 3 times in a row, we won the fa cup and now were going up, we are the town oh yes we are the town. UTT

Our time will come, Huddersfield town will rise once again, in Deano we trust and SG is doing a fine job

Yes grayson maybe doing an ok job so far he did the same with us first season back in the championship and then next thing you know he starts blaming everyone else but himself because thats what he does never takes any of the blame

The funny thing about larry his he use to be a defender you wouldnt think that the way his teams concede goals doesnt bode well for you then does it cannot wait to say i told you so

Grayson on sky siad other day at the millwall game how much he though leeds were robbed and that if we had 11 men on the field he thought we'd of got the result! M.O.T

Blackpool to narrow down to seven choices on their wanted list, they are as follows.

1. Paul Ince- Watches his son Thomas Ince most weeks and will probably have a good look at the rest of the squad and will probably identify strengths and weaknesses. Poor managerial record, but may well turn out to be good appointment.

2. Paulo Di Canio- Has done a very good job at Swindon. Would encourage to win every game because his discipline of his Swindon team when they lose is not good. Compensation to Swundon would be a stumbling block, otherwise good appointment

3. Owen Coyle- Currently out of a job. Did brilliantly to get Burnley promoted a few years ago, likely candidate and likely appointment. I, I strongly believe that he would take Blackpool up.

4. Keith Hill- Kept Barnsley up with league one and league two signings. Wouldn't favour this appointment because he hasn't been provemn at the top level because people may dislike Blackpol, but the squad left should really be achieving promotion.

5. Michael Appleton- Done well at a club with not much money. He has had experience with West Brom which could be vital if he Blackpool got promotion. Wouldn't mind this appointment, as he is a really nice guy.

6. Karl Robinson- Done a great job at MK Dons for such a young manager. Wouldn't like this appointment however because I believe the championship may be a level to high and would probably under achieve, but he could look to people like Eddie Howe for inspiration.

7. Micky Mellon- Signed three really good ;layers for a league two side. Wouldn't cause too much trouble as Fleetwood are just round the corner really. Compensation may cause a problem, but I reckon he deserves a chance because he has done a good job in getting Fleetwood in League Two.

In addition, I believe that Matt Phillips will head for the exit door now Holloway has gone. But people linking Thomas Ince with a move away are deluded as if his dad is recruited then he will defenitely stay. Phillips may even stay to the end of the season.

If Di Canio took over in my eye, obvious replacement is Matt Ritchie. Post ideas underneath about potential signings you think

Unless Blackpool improve by a huge amount you will be adrift of the promotion positions by Christmas, and that means both Ince and Phillips will go.

You have forgotten Steve Thompson

We are not a two man team. We are a 11 man team. When we were playing good at the begging of the season matt phillips did not start

As a Preston fan you can only Envy what Balckpool and Holoway have achieved of late. Balckpools main objective will be to maintain and exceed what Olly did for them. You must look deeper into the reasons why after saying he was happy recently did he suddenly make the decision to leave?? Oyston??

Have fun with graham westley in charge preston fan. PNE will never achive what we did with ollie.
No point calling oyston because he's always going to be. Ollie will be back one day as manager
Come on the pool

Every dog has his day it is about time he signs some players or he leaves. Go,we might get some one who would like the club to go forward not back. Put up or shut up.

Take keith hill! we dont want him!

05 Nov 2012 00:01:12
I've heard that Blackpool could appoint Paul Ince as their new manager seeing as his son Thomas plays for the club and that he attends several games so he can see Blackpool's strengths and weaknesses

He's watching his son
